Bethells Cafe

Great spot and awesome person serving the coffee. Dude was chill and served a great coffee to enjoy at one of my fave Auckland beaches! Have a drink and snack, go for a walk, adventure through the tracks there and swim, then take your rubbish back with you (bins at the parking lot).

This morning after the bucketing rain of yesterday I lapped up the delicious warm. Molly ran with me today for a change. We were very surprised to see people doing yoga on the beach in a circle. I felt like joining in! I had poems building in my head as I ran but here are some photos.

Great coffee and food with a nice vibe! I love the outdoor setup—right by the beach yet surrounded by native bush. Sandy feet and coffee go so well together. There’s live music on selected dates, and we sometimes make a special trip to Bethells Beach Café just for the great atmosphere.

Stopped here on our walk back from beautiful Bethells beach. The owner was so kind and accommodating. We figured the food would be ok because of the beautiful surroundings but this food would have been top notch anywhere. So good and fresh and the employees were so kind. This was a gourmet experience from a food truck. Ten outta ten.

Friendly staff, nice food, good coffee, and a nice place to hang out after a swim. More shaded seating would be better as there are only a few benches in the shade of the trees.

Absolutely love the Bethells Cafe, it's in a beautiful location and has a fantastic history if you ask around. Seems very popular with the locals - staff know customers by name and sometimes their drink orders too. Would have expected to pay double considering how far out it is but prices are more than reasonable. They have a small but tasty range of hot food and cold drinks. They often organise free live music and it's a great way to spend an evening, people of all ages turn up to let off some steam. Much love to Bethells Cafe.

Best place to relax after a long day at beach. Amazing customer service. Food was great. They even have dog treats and free lime water.
