This place is amazing! The general manager Emily was very excited in helping me with a top tier wedding proposal. Our server was the cherry on top of our experience. The drinks and dessert was great. An the atmosphere is very romantic. Thank you so much in helping us capture a everlasting memory.

I found this place for my boyfriends birthday! It had amazing reviews and even our waiter at the restaurant that we had dinner at before coming here, said it was really cool. Im so glad we came! The staff was really sweet, the desserts and cocktails were really good and the ambiance was perfect. We went with friends and they loved it. They actually live nearby and had never visited. So I'm glad we were able to introduce a great date night place for them to come back to. I highly recommend this place! I just warn shy folks because the descriptions are very "sensual" but so perfect. We were laughing the entire time. The owner did a great job! The photos are also very "sensual" so I encourage you shy folks to lean into it and just have fun!!!

We love the whole concept, the atmosphere, and service but to be honest the desserts were average. The cheesecake was dry to the point of it being crumbly. I didn’t finish it and I love cheesecake. The coffee being rimmed in caramel and chocolate was unique and delicious I will say we enjoyed that. I think a tad bit more light would really help, it’s super dark inside. Good luck on finding any parking, we had to literally park down the road. It would be nice to have a few more nut free options for us who have nut allergies. We’re glad we tried it but sadly we will not be returning for a second time.

My first time here doing date night. The ambience was romantic, i loved the menu and the description of each dessert and drinks. Our waitress was very friendly and explained top items with great recommendations. Loved the presentation of the dishes and drinks as well. The Irish creme ice cream was bursting with flavors together with the chocolate cake. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a romantic place to visit. One recommendation would be to use smokeless candles or similar. I was suffocating after I left but overall satisfied with my visit.

Forget Disney. Forget Universal. Better than Sex Desserts is the one place that must be on your Orlando itinerary. If not, pack your bags, put on your mouse ears, and consider your trip a complete failure as you head back home. We’re talking life-changing desserts here. I ordered takeout and didn’t pick it up for 20 minutes and then had another 20-minute drive back to the hotel and these were still some of the best desserts I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Every dessert I tried was beyond amazing, but I heard angels singing with every bite of the Peanut Butter Perversion. I opened the container and could just smell the aroma of peanut butter dancing around my nostrils. This sweet siren lured me in and I succumbed to one of the creamiest cheesecakes in the US. Next was the Popcorn Pimp cheesecake. My hesitation ordering this was quickly whisked away with the first decadent bite of chocolate-covered popcorn. And when that mixed with the cheesecake, it truly was better than sex! Lastly was the red velvet cheesecake. Another deliciously creamy cheesecake from the gods. So, so good. Next time I’m in Orlando, this place will be my first stop!

The desserts are alright. Nothing too fantastic. I've had better at chain restaurants. They were good but I was expecting something a little over the top, these were pretty normal. The drinks were fabulous though. Our waiter failed to bring us water. We asked 2 other people before we got any. We were served alcohol and dessert before we got any water. I wouldn't return. It didn't meet the expectation.

Our experience here was ok! The deserts were not as sweet as anticipated and some of the flavors did not compliment each other however, Better than sex was serving 10 out of 10 from personal too professional. The deserts were very pretty to look at. We would not return only because the combined flavor profiles were not a big hit for us. I do recommend trying this spot regardless of my review because sweet dessert may not be your thing. They are an awesome group of people regardless. Parking was horrible to say the least because there wasn’t any. We had to walk far from a nearby side street.

What a lovely, clean, sexy little restaurant. In all fairness, this is really meant for couples, but it isn't a requirement and can be a flirty, fun night with girlfriends! You may want to make reservations since they are usually booked. The desserts are decadent and outrageous! Everything is just as wonderful and delicious as they look!! I highly recommend this spot highly!!

3.5 Stars A little sexy, a little tongue-in-cheek, a lot of sweet. Better Than Sex is a raunchy dessert spot that's fun for a date night and perfect for Valentine's Day. The decor inside is intimate, moody, and suggestive. I do not recommend it for big groups because they want this to be an intimate space and it's not really conducive to loud conversation. Reservations are required for indoor seating most nights and I love that they open pretty late so you can have dinner somewhere else and come here for dessert and conversation afterwards. It does require fore planning if you want to sit inside though -- they have limited outdoor seating available for walk-ins, but you don't get the full experience of the ambiance. I thought the desserts were just ok. I loved the names of the items and the portion size was very generous. These desserts were definitely meant for sharing! The presentation had that 90s-00s flair, and was done well. However, I was let down by the flavor and texture of the cakes. I thought the red velvet cheesecake and tiramisu tasted great, but were very sweet, and they were a bit denser than I like my cakes. The prices were fair for a specialty dessert.

This institution has an interesting atmosphere and really original decor - in this regard, everything looked very good. The place creates a special mood, and for this a big plus. The waiter was attentive and helped to deal with the choice of desserts. The desserts were delicious, but expectations were slightly higher. Some elements of the feed seemed more spectacular than really tasty. The only thing that spoiled the impression a little was the lighting: in some places it was too dark, which even made it difficult to view the menu. The space also seemed a bit cramped because of the number of people. In general, the experience was pleasant, but there are moments that should be finalized so that I would like to return more often.

10/10 would highly recommend coming here! From the service to the desserts & drinks this place exceeded our expectations. Our waitress Caitlyn was very friendly and helpful and so was the other staff we interacted with. We had four different drinks and three desserts and they were all fantastic. The ambiance is so great for a date night and really cozy. We will for sure be coming back here in the future.

Last time I came to Better Than Sex was in Key West so this was my first time at this location. It was a very cute place and I liked the ambience and loved the decor. The server was really nice and explained the different desserts. We could not decided so we ordered two and wow they were delicious. We will be back soon!

Absolutely phenomenal!! Delicious dessert and cocktails, even spiked coffee with a chocolate rim! Went with the PB perfection and the chocolate cake both delicious!! Reservation recommendation but they do have walk-in available. Plenty of street parking . Very intimate setting.

I was so excited to come to this restaurant as the location in LA closed. Our waitress, Caitlin was amazing! I would come back just for her and of course a glass of wine! I ordered a Berry Naughty which was delicious and for dessert I ordered the Double Stuffed and my hubby ordered The Fever. If you order The Fever- don't forget to nibble the chocolate penis on top!

We stopped by on a date night with no reservation and just hoping we might get lucky. Thankfully there was one outdoor table for us so we got to enjoy a fantastic drink and a very interesting deconstructed key lime pie. The drinks were the better part. While I am happy we went, and feel grateful the staff was so nice and accommodating, I'm not sure I would go out of my way to go back.

Pros: Very fun atmosphere! Dark, only lit by soft candlelight. Super secluded, you can't see any other tables from your table, giving you exclusive privacy. Service is good. They come by and check on you juuust enough to not be annoying and let you enjoy your date night. The desserts are all delicious. Like, they put effort into these desserts, and the different is obvious. Cons: No cons. Just prepare in advance. This place is always reserved out. Tips: Anything you order will be absolutely delicious, so just go with your favorite flavors that you know you will like.

Such a fun date night or night with friends. The space is small, dark, and intimate and only serves dessert, coffee, and cocktails (what more do you need, really). The staff will help you explore the menu and they are super fun and help with the overall ambiance. The food was beautiful, and the menu is broad enough that there's something for everyone.

This place was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our 6 month anniversary. The staff were very kind and gave good recommendations for the desserts. It was nice of them to also write out the special occasion on the plate. Very nice touch! The atmosphere was dark, moody, and sensual which is what it was meant to be. I liked the small booth just wished it were a little more private. The place itself is pretty small so make sure to book a reservation beforehand. Great place would come again.

The atmosphere is quite risqué and the mood is well, obviously sexual. This place is extremely dark so be prepared for that experience. It takes some time to adjust to the lack of lighting as you truly can't read a menu without the tablet light assistance or your own smart phone flashlight. The drinks were quite underwhelming in my opinion. Each one had a large amount of thick impenetrable whipped cream on top that was difficult to mix with the drink itself. The desserts are the true star of this show, as it should be I suppose. So decadent and rich! You could tell each one was well thought out and executed with care and expertise.

we came here two years ago for our 1 year anniversary and now we're here for our 3 years!! both times were really great! we ordered drinks and they did not disappoint! the dessert was pretty good and i love the ambiance of this place! super unique and the menu is so on theme with everything it's fun! they ask you if you're celebrating any special occasions so the message on the dessert plate is 'customizable' overall a really great spot and can't wait to come back to try new desserts !!

Server was great :) we were sat outside but went inside to look at the decor. I appreciated how well the decor suited the theme, especially the booths with red velvet curtains for privacy. For some reason the inside had a weird scent, kind of like a fog machine. The dessert was very well crafted, definitely on the sweet side so beware of that. Presentation and plating is also great!

Great service super accommodating added people to our party and no problem. Had a rim job with the champs and the caramel and the brûlée sugar!! Tried the morning after the French toast Brie and chocolate with strawberry dipper like omg. Perfection. We had a virgin drink the coochie cola and a pnut butter persuasion and the cookie nookie. This is an absolute must try. The dessert ate top tier. The ambiance is a vibe and the menu descriptions are perfectly described. Our server was very helpful with suggestions since we were first timers and I will say that her suggestion were spot on delicious. We ordered the cookie pie and I ordered the apple crisp. Both were mind blowing delicious. As I am typing this review I'm salivating. You will not be disappointed with any part of the experience. The ambiance, the plating of the desserts and even the drinks. They definitely will make a mark on any date night.

Okay, so first things first, let's answer the unasked question. Better Than Sex... isn't. Having a little time to kill before our scheduled date night, we walked in on a Saturday night with no reservations and they got us a seat. The restaurant is dimly lit and romantic, sexy framed pics abound, but sadly we were seated outside so we missed out on the romantic ambiance they strive for. Our server was friendly and helpful, explaining the menu choices and recommended a couple of her favorites. All of their shots, drinks, and desserts are given risqué names. Peanut Butter Perversion, Klimax, you get the idea... I got a lovely red Belgian ale rimmed with white chocolate, which yes, sounds weird but it works, while the lovely Spensyr got a white chocolate rimmed sparkling red wine that was the much better choice. Our dessert was Key Lime flavored Semifreddo with almond whipped creme, and a tuile cookie, accompanied by raspberry caviar. Everything was good but nothing was the great and orgasmic experience you'd expect from naming yourself 'Better Than Sex' so after a quick bite and a sip, off we popped.

We used to come to BTS annually but hadn't been in a while so we pre celebrated Vday a few days early to beat the crowds & popped in for some tasty desserts. We made a 8pm reservation we usually always stuck with the same thing when we visit but this time I wanted to try something a little different so I ordered the Berry Bondage which had edible glitter all over, raspberry sugar between fresh layers of fresh raspberries , I believe it was 20 layers of crepe & some other ingredients . It was as good & not overly sweet. My husband stuck with his old faithful the Missionary Apple Crisp, which is buttery cake-like layer "on top" of Red Delicious "skin-on" apples smothered in an addictive salted graham cracker crumble, paired with vanilla bean ice cream balls, cinnamon & chef crated soft caramel. We also decided to order the Love potion 69 shot , adult apple & the sex appeal drinks. They've updated the spark romance questions , which are awesome conversation starters . Overall we had a great time . The ambiance is dark and romantic & the customer service was fantastic. They rarely have room for walk ins so, I highly recommend making a reservation.

This is my second time at BTS and i enjoyed this experience better with a group of girls over a date. We were seated in the booth in the back corner and it felt relatively private for our annual holiday catch-up. Our server was great and was able to help our GF friend navigate the menu. The espresso martini was absolutely amazing with espresso cubes and a chocolate rim. I wanted something savory so split the morning after and birthday suit. To my surprise, birthday suit was my favorite albeit the sweeter of the two. My only gripe was the iPad menu which I get because it's dimly lit--my astigmatism was going crazy.

Better Than Sex is an adult restaurant that is designed in every way to set a specific mood. It is suitable only for two or more romantic partners, or platonic friends who just love dessert. But if you ask me, those platonic friends might grow into something more here at this place. The ambiance is very well themed. Every set of seats is very secluded, so you don't have any strangers staring at you during your meal. The lighting is very low; it would be way too hard to see if it weren't for the lovely candles at your table. Those candles also help illuminate the tasteful photography that adorns the wall. Service is also very good. They do a good job of not making the sensuality awkward. They're in, they're out, and they do a good job of making sure that you and your dining partners get your quality alone time. As for the food, it's just desserts. Literally nothing else. So don't make this your dinner. Of the few things I've tried so far, they are absolutely crafted with love. They taste like professional desserts, with perfect textures, perfect fruity accents, perfect consistencies. These aren't you typical bare minimum sugar bomb cakes that you find at Walmart or Publix. This most recent visit, I tried the Between My Red Velvet Sheets Cheesecake. I will not be posting the description of this cheesecake on here, because it may cause some pearls to get clutched, but it looked great, it tasted great, it had lovely little crunchies on top, and it came with strawberries that you could dip in something chocolate and feed to one another. Very nice. Overall, this is a very niche restaurant, but it is a very good restaurant. Plan way ahead, because it is always packed and reservations go quick.

No happy endng...This place is a novelty joke. The decor is tacky and smells old. We came in to spend money on our girl friends 55th birthday and didn't feel welcomed. We were told to be quiet when we sang happy birthday... The expresso martini tasted watwred down.....I asked for a shot of vodka and it was half water....the desserts taste like they came from Costco...don't waste your money! Also the staff acted bothered and rude ....Very disappointed

Came in on a thursday evening without reservation and only had outdoor seating Food 5/5: got their man flowers chocolate cake and their rollover root beer float. Both were rich and delicious Ambiance 2/5: did not have a great outdoors experience, no where near the sexy ambiance I got a peak of inside when using the restroom, plus a random panhandler came and started asking all of us for money. Service 5/5: fairly quick service, friendly with fun sex based puns throughout the order Value 3/5: delicious and somewhat pricy, I think may have been more worth it if we got to enjoy the ambiance but as is, a little on the pricy side Overall 4/5: to be fair, we had no reservation so weighed the food and service more highly.

As soon as I saw this online, I had to try it. You feel like you're walking into a forbidden sex room in the roaring 20s. There are desserts and drinks for every type of customer. There are booths against the wall that have curtains to make it a private experience. iPads have your menu so you can scroll through and find your fancy. My only issue was the loud staff conversations. We were all the way in the back, yet could hear their conversations about their weekend & drama from the door. It overcasted the ambiance of the experience But also! There needs to be move of this place! Expand!

Went here with a few of my girlfriends and we have an amazing night! We ordered a few items and a few drinks there is a lot of choices There was 6 of us but each table was only for 2 - 4 person so we opt for sitting outside and pull the two tables together! Our server is amazing and funny! Our food arrived quickly and we have fun joking around and the desserts are to die for !

Cute atmosphere but make sure you're quiet. Came in with a party of 8 and were told to keep our voices down. (And we were no louder than the room of people behind us). As long as you don't make a lot of sound his place is fine.

We went for our first visit to start our wedding celebrations early and will definitely be coming back! The ambiance is very romantic and warm. Our waitress was friendly and gave great recommendations. The desserts and coffees were both delicious! A perfect date night spot.

I've eaten here twice, sat outside both times. First time because I didn't have a reservation & they were busy late night, last time because I was with my dog. It was early with available tables, but I had to sit outside. My suggestion is to make reservations, sit inside, then write a review letting me know if you liked it! :) Go later in the day, nighttime ... why? Because of the frosting. The carrot cake is my favorite there. It's extremely good, especially the frosting, but if you go early it's not as creamy, still cold on top. It's a cream cheese frosting but seems to be a hybrid with buttercream frosting. The peanut butter pie is good, but a tiny bit grainy, flat flavor. Whipped cream is good. The price is high, even with a big slice, so I suggest ordering only if you're eating it there, not worth the high price if eating it at home. The night time ambience enhances the experience, rationalizing the price. I highly recommend carrot cake at night. They have Rosa Regale, by Banfi, a sweet sparkling red, with a white chocolate rim, so fun! Semiprivate booths outside, so lick all you want. They are very creative pairing different beers & other drinks with flavored candy dipped rims. The waiters are lightning fast, in a major rush. I suggest looking at the menu before arriving. I love their drink & melted candy pairings, explore the menu. The menu tablets are easy to use. Overhead music is fun.

Went to the restaurant to celebrate an anniversary and it was lovely! The server was attentive and made us feel comfortable, as a lesbian couple. He let us sit in the corner of the room, which had more privacy. There are some seats that had a curtain that you can close for more privacy. The music wasn't too loud so we were able to talk to one another. We ordered the Necklace Pearl which had key lime cake, it was delicious (I wish I got more). We also had Man Flowers, and the cake part was soft and chocolaty. Really enjoyed the whole meal and experience.

What a treat! This place was wonderful from the romantic, low-light ambiance to the decor, food and service - everything was great. We loved the Double Stuffed dessert and the Exhibitionist (not pictured) drink. The staff even made our visit extra special by doing an early wedding anniversary celebratory plating. Last night I had the chance to dine at this restaurant. It was a lovely night out and it was well worth it. The food that I ordered was the Rosy Cheeks beverage and the Pound Town. Both items were delicious and I enjoyed it all. The service was great. She was very knowledgeable and gave wonderful suggestions to choice from. Now the atmosphere is very sexy and dark. It's a cheeky way to play with words and menu items. Overall it was a delicious and tantalizing experience. That's all.

Made reservations for my girlfriend on her birthday here as we love our desserts and we were not disappointed. We started off with some adult beverages which have a nice selection of wines and beers paired with a chocolate rimmed glass. At first we were nervous about the combo of wine/beer with chocolate but it works out! The server was also very helpful in helping us pick a beverage and answering any questions we had about the menu. The whole vibe of the restaurant is intimate and is dark with mood lighting setting the romantic vibes it is meant to have. When we ordered we ordered the Berry Bondage which was a Berry Layered Crepe cake that was light and airy. It had the right mixture of berries and cream, with little spots of whipped cream and raspberries. As a surprise they brought us the pictured birthday treat on the house with a delicious almond flavored ice cream. Can't recommend this place enough for a special date night!

Great spot - the dessert always hits the spot. Since this place is a little more expensive, we usually will make reservations on a special occasion. The restaurant is very sex themed, private tables with curtains drawn, sexual innuendos on the menu. The wait staff is attentive, but just be warned they also use quite a bit of sexual innuendos as well. Our first visit, it was a bit shocking. I love the popcorn pimp. We went for my birthday and they provided a small cup of ice cream which was very cute.

I have been 3 times and each time the food has always been amazing. I have a major sweet tooth and they satisfy it so well. The service is amazing and they explain the story of the owners well. Very friendly service and they touch point at the table at convenient times letting you have your privacy when necessary. The ambiance is amazing; the restaurant is small and dimly lit giving more to the romantic vibe. Most seats are for couples for do not let that stop you as they can fit a small group at certain tables. They will certainly be seeing me again as this is a great way to end a date night or just treat yourself randomly.

I came here with my friends for my birthday, we figured it would be a fun night out with the girls! First things first, it's DARK in there. Especially coming in from daylight, we walked to our table (in one of the rooms) and I had to feel for the table because it was lower than expected and I couldn't see it in the dark lol. Also my friend pretty much tripped over the table. Our eyes eventually adjusted but it did take a while and we couldn't see each other at first. When I made the reservation, they told me to make sure my friends stay quiet bc it is a quiet, intimate environment, however, it was not as quiet there as they made it out to be. Which is fine, it was just an observation. I imagined people whispering but everyone was talking in their normal voice. Our server was amazing as she knew what she was talking about. She was able to help us pair a drink with our dessert. She was also super sweet and knew how to joke with us. The food was delicious! I got the Man Flowers cake and it was amazing. My friends got the Berry Bondage and The Fever and they loved their cakes too! The wine came with chocolate sauce on the rim. The chocolate was so good and we just found ourselves licking the glass I would be looking forward to visiting this place again!

They were very accommodating as we had no reservation and were still found a table 30 min before they were to close. Our server Megan was very prompt and sweet and helpful with making our experience amazing. Her voice is very tantalizing and great for the atmosphere. She made ordering fun, all in all this place is definitely a great vibe

This place was cute and super romantic/intimate place to go with your significant other! The drinks and desserts were really yummy, the theming was quirky yet works, and the staff is very kind! I wish the place had a better parking scenario with just a few street side parking spots available. It's also a little on the smaller side therefore you will be waiting a while if no reservations are made due to limited seating. Aside from this though I would def recommend to any couple wanting to spice their night!

This was our first time visiting and it is not our last. The drinks were soooo good! I love the fact that you can add chocolate on the rim of the glass. The desserts were to die for!!! I got the cookie nookie, but I prefer the apple pie dessert just because I didn't realize there were walnuts and I'm mildly allergic. This is great for a date night, as the lights are dim and they play low music. The service was amazing!!! I cannot wait to come back!

BTS is my favorite date spot. The drinks are delicious (only wine and beer though) and desserts are incredible. The ambience is the best part. It's a small spot, very intimate. The space is dark with red accents. It's sexy and romantic.

What a unique experience! If you are familiar with Bern's steakhouse dessert room in Tampa, and need an equivalent in Orlando, come to Better than Sex. It's focused is on after dinner drinks and specialty desserts. It's a great date night location to enjoy delicious desserts in an intimate setting. We (party of 6) laughed and shared multiple desserts just to sample all the crazy options. The service definitely knew the menu in and out and provided excellent and truthful suggestions. She was pleasant and timely. We never waited long for refills or other services. It's a must try if you have the time. Hopefully we'll see a franchise open in Ft. Lauderdale soon.

Yummy desserts with a very romantic vibe. You have to be very comfortable when ordering because some of the names are a little crazy, but the desserts were so good and our server was so helpful! We will definitely be back to celebrate another anniversary.

Anytime I looked to come here the reservations were completely full or the restaurant wasn't open. Finally on our date day we were able to go. So after a day full of activities we finished off (pun intended) here. We arrived right at our reservation time (right when they opened). It appeared we were the first there and it was empty, albeit it opening time on a Tuesday, so it was nice and intimate. They keep it dark inside with candlelit table and secluded. Service was very friendly and attentive. The menu was explained fully to us and we ordered drinks and dessert. I got the popcorn pimp. It was a cheesecake and it was honestly just okay. Nothing special. The drink was tasty. It was disappointing they only had 1 cocktail. Otherwise it was wine, beer or various shots. Overall it was a cool experience, intimate, but the desserts (which is their specialty) were just okay. It was definitely not better than sex.

It's fun. It's kitschy. It's a cute date night spot for new relationships or long term couples. It's a one and done. The food is good, not great. Drinks are great, fun names. Desserts are also great. I truly cannot remember my dinner though. Very dark inside, if you have trouble seeing then keep this in mind. Very tight as well. I mean I do recommend it, but not as a go to, or a normal spot. Highly recommend for tourists and one time stops. Very fun.

Happy Valentine's Day! My hubs & I decided to have a lowkey night and cook dinner at home this evening, but once we were all finished eating, we were craving something sweet. I was excited to see that Better Than Sex (located in Ivanhoe Village) was open late and had all their decadent desserts available for delivery on UberEats. Bonus points for not having to leave my pajamas and getting dessert delivered straight to my door. We ordered the "Double Stuffed" Oreo bread pudding which comes with cheesecake ice cream and the "Popcorn Pimp Cheesecake" topped with salted popcorn chocolate bark and caramel sauce. Both of them were delish and good portion sizes, considering they're a bit pricey. We have some left over (breakfast in the morning?) so that makes the splurge a little more worth it. It was delivered within about 20 minutes, so you can't beat the convenience either. I have also dined in the restaurant in the past. It's romantic, dimly lit, and definitely gives off all the sexy V-Day vibes. I'm sure they were busy tonight, but I'm just glad I got to eat dessert at home in my robe. P.S. We committed the cardinal foodie sin and forgot to take pics of them first, but it looks like I already uploaded pics from my first visit years ago. Yum!
