This shop lives up to its name. A lovely modern twist to traditional batik yet still maintaining a vintage touch. I love bringing friends who come to visit Penang and they love shopping here just as much as I do. Staff are lovely, patient, and helpful.

Versatile, light-weight handmade batik apparel by Pei Shern who used to be a doctor. Upon entering the store, a beautiful lovely senior lady who spoke impeccable English, greeted us with such warmth and sincerity that immediately puts one at ease. Via their website, I later realised that she should be the designer’s mom whom she refer to “Mummwhitetop”. Strong online retail presence too and they ship internationally. So good news for tourists like me.
