We stayed here after booking through our airline as we were traveling by train from Sorrento then the rapid non stop to the airport the next day. Easy walk with luggage from the station. Art Deco style hotel with free breakfast buffet. They do own 2 hotels directly across from each other and my GPS took me to the wrong one initially. Staff is rather stiff. 5th floor room was quiet without street noise. Television didn’t work as Cable not attached. Bathroom small with narrow tub that could make standing for shower a little risky if your balance not great. Also the shower 1/2 glass divider was not anchored at the bottom and could not be used to help stabilize getting in and out of tub. Minimal number of electrical outlets and no phone chargers. We made a quick afternoon trip to Vatican museums which Cost €35 by taxi which bellman did help call for. Wouldn’t do extended stay here but fine for the night.

Great location so close to the Termini train station, lots of delicious restaurants nearby. The rooms are more modern than most I was seeing in the area. Beautiful color palette in the room, and the bathrooms were luxurious for sure. Service is great, rooftop lounge is charming, breakfast spread satisfies. Plenty of sights in walkable distance as well, even walked all the way to the colosseum and back in a day. Tho I am from NYC so maybe that's not as "walkable" to most people. ;)

I stayed at this hotel a few days back and was very happy with the quality of service. The staff immediately made us feel at home during check in. They were generous and warm, very welcoming. The room and the bathroom were both spacious and clean. Breakfast had a good spread of options too. Proximity to the Termini station makes it super convenient location wise. Looking forward to my stay here again on our return to Rome.

I really wanted to love this hotel but I didn’t! My room was dated and a little depressing it looked out onto a rundown alleyway. The staff were nice enough but it felt disorganised - I was initially shown the wrong room twice and the cleaner didn’t come on day 2 until I requested it. Staff don’t offer to help with luggage, no water provided in my room, the flattest pillows I have ever used and uncomfortable hand towels made of thin cotton. I previously stayed at another Rome hotel of a similar price and it was so much better but was full for these dates so chose this one. Breakfast was very average food so we skipped it most days. The location was excellent near the train station - but overall I was disappointed.

July 2025- this is our second stay at Mediterraneo. The location is perfect for us as we love the proximity to Roma Termini and the metro. The staff are first class! A special thank you to Albert! Extremely attentive and professional. Note that Italians are exact and to the point, and we North Americans take that as being rude. The staff were wonderful. Our room and bathroom were huge compared to most EU and N-A hotels. Double entry doors helped isolate hallway noises. Tons of closet space for the three of us. A large safe and mini fridge. Slept extremely well. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of Rome. Worth a visit. Highlight of course is the breakfast!! Large selection of meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, bacon, desserts, pastries and fresh baked loaves of bread. The cappuccinos are excellent. Such a great start to the day. Lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk and several decent grocery stores within 3-5. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Location is convenient. 3 minutes walk from Rome terminal. The room is spacious and clean. Shower and tub all works well. The only problem is in the room there is almost NO wi Fi connection. The staff are friendly and service is great! The breakfast is okay. Since it’s a big hotel, so what do you expect 😀.

i will list down the good, the average and the bad.Good: Location is good. Near to bus station and train station. Easily access to any tourist attractions. And the cleaning staff did their job, the room is clean and towels are changed.Average: Breakfast was quite normal without much selection to choose from. Same food for the buffet.Bad: The internet is unusable or pretty slow. The lift broke down and only 1 lift is available for 9 floors. The hotel in need of major revamp to catch up with times. They have a nice location but unfortunately, the facilities are in the 90s.

Great Hotel, two blocks from termini. It is very well maintained. I would definitely stay again. I was impressed with the updated bathrooms. The staff was attentive, friendly and most spoke at least two languages. There were at least twenty places to grab a great meal with 5 minutes walking distance. |
