"Located in Allentown, down a quiet, tree-lined street, Betty’s is the perfect spot if you’re searching for simple, comforting fare. While the restaurant is open for all three meals, breakfast takes top honors—the Luv Sandwich (a toasted bagel with bacon, cream cheese, pickled onions, sprouts, and tomatoes) is simply the most delicious way to start the day in Buffalo. During the warmer months, guests can grab a table outdoors and people-watch while they eat. The restaurant’s residential location is ideal, as it’s away from the noise but still immersed in the neighborhood atmosphere."

Betty's is a Buffalo staple and worth a visit! Their portions and pricing are great. Our waitress was newer and didn't know the menu well so ordering was a little confusing. I got the scrambled tofu hash (she didn't seem to know what that was) and my boyfriend ordered the corn beef hash. He enjoyed his meal and mine was okay. A little too spicy, in the wrong ways, and the cornbread it came with was very dry. I will say, the tofu and potatoes were cooked perfectly! In the past, I've just ordered a regular breakfast with eggs and toast and that's always been enjoyable. Overall, our waitress was very friendly - just learning, and the food was alright.

Betty's is in my old neighborhood and my favorite breakfast & brunch spot. It's so Cozy here! Besides how friendly and down to earth everyone is, many of the servers have their artwork on the walls (changed out around every month). It's very laid-back, incredible food, decor and background music is perfect. They change out their cocktail menu regularly and are themed for holidays. They have really unique combinations of ingredients and I would honestly say you can't go wrong with whatever you decide on. They don't serve dinner anymore, so make sure you go earlier in the day. Parking can be tricky, it's easier for us because I know my way around but you may need to walk a block or two. Definitely worth it!!

Had breakfast here with the gf. If you have to wait on weekends to get a table, be patient, it is well worth the wait. Bottomless coffee was delicious. We had French toast, sausage, eggs & home fries and gf had break-a-(something), can't remember as it was on their specialty brunch menu. Highly recommend. Will be back!!!

Google
We came here for a Saturday morning breakfast. It's a popular place so our wait was around 20-25 minutes for a table of four. Quicker if you're looking for a table of two. Servers were great. Kept our coffees topped up. The food was good. It looked like they had farmers sausages which were delicious. The only comment I would add is to fill up the orange juice cups closer to the top. Lots of space left for juice. The place has nice bathrooms. Plenty of parking in the area too.

I needed a place to stop for breakfast on my way through Buffalo. Got lucky and found this place on Google. 10/10! Great service, cool atmosphere, and excellent food! The chorizo biscuits and gravy are delicious, and now one of my favorite breakfast dishes ever. Ever! And I'm a breakfast lover. Wish I lived closer! Will make a point to stop again if I'm ever in the area!! Highly recommended!

Nice place to grab brunch. They definitely have an interesting take on shrimp and grits, wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t order again. Everything else was delicious. Totally recommend stopping in.

My husband and I are always looking for new breakfast places to visit on our Wednesday morning dates. Today we chose to drive up to Betty's. It's not an area we are too familiar with as we are from the southtowns. Parking on a Wednesday was easy though, and we got a spot right outside the door. We were greeted with friendly staff and sat at our table. Hot coffees and water were instantly brought over, and then we ordered. I was very excited to see shrimp and grits on the menu. I've never had it the way it came, which was served in a cake like square piece of grits with cheese on top, and the shrimp and jalapeño on the side. I also choose two over easy eggs and corn bread. I've only had grits with more of a softer, texture but I did enjoy the way they served it. Both my eggs and the cornbread were as expected and good. I forgot the exact name of my husband's order but it was a special and was something like caramel apple French toast casserole. He really enjoys sweet for breakfast and this hit the spot. It was huge. He chose fruit instead of home fries for the side. All in all, we very much enjoyed our breakfast, will add it to our list of places to visit again, and will be back.

We sat outside on the patio and had our breakfast here and shared the Shrimps & Grits as well as the French Toast casserole. Both dishes were really tasty and sufficient in size. The waiter was very nice and caring and the overall service perfect. Definitely worth it and fully recommended 👍

Yelp
If I lived here in Buffalo, this totally would be my hang, and that's no bull!! 5 star for everything! Folks flocked here by the herd! Lots of peeps "roaming" outside waiting to be seated! No wonder! It's phenomenal! A local recommended this joint and I want to send her a thank you note! We were visiting Buffalo to see Niagara Falls, and pretty much fell in love with the vibe in this town! All the architecture, this restaurant included, is so quaint and Victorian. The service was fabulous, Adrienne rocked and was super pleasant, just like this 60 degree pre-autumn day! We sat outside under a cozy awning, and enjoyed some delicious food! We had the Peach Walnut Casserole/a bread pudding conglomeration of fruit, egg, nuts, vanilla, and maybe some magic sauce - incredible! He had the Mickey's Casserole with egg, bread, onion, sausage and a mess of other yummy ingredients which came with fruit and hash browned potatoes that were perfectly seasoned! Great value, our bill was reasonable (Go Bills) and awesome, clean 50's vibe washrooms! Come here!

Yelp
I have to say... I was not expecting such a gem of a restaurant in the Buffalo area. Maybe because I haven't visited in YEARS, but I'm so happy we came to this restaurant. We were in town for a wedding the 4th of July weekend and Betty's was POPPIN... rightfully so. The home that it's located in reminds me of my grandmothers house and it's very 'homey'. We chose to sit at the bar since there was 2 of us and they were on a wait. Even though they were busy the bartender and host reassured us that we would be helped as they took care of other guests and cleared off the bar for us. We ordered fairly quickly. My boyfriend got the breakfast nachos and I got your typical eggs, sausage and potatoes breakfast plate. Those potatoes...... GIVE ME A BAG OF THOSE TOGO NEXT TIME LOL, so good. It has a little kick to them and they were perfect. The breakfast nachos were good but we felt like there could have been more toppings on the nachos. We didn't have any cocktails since we knew we'd be drinking heavily that night, but once I got back to visit, I will definitely be coming back for a pomegranate mimosa! See y'all in a few weeks!

Yelp
Yeah super cool spot and super cool vibes. I tried the breakfast nachos. I thought it was going to be a little more than it was. Maybe because the cheese wasn't melted? I think it would've been a better experience if the dish was served hot. All good. Service was on point and friendly. Next time I'm in town I'll give them another shot. Thanks for the memories...

Yelp
Service is very important to my dining experience. John, our bartender/server was GREAT. He was personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. It was mid sunday morning so Betty's was jumping. Thats why we sat at the bar. My wife ordered a signature Grasshopper coffee topped with whipped cream. She thoroughly enjoyed it. For meals I had Mickey's Casserole and my wife had Eggs Benedict. My egg, bread, sausage, peppers and, cheese casserole portion was huge! It was a corner piece but even the edges weren't over cooked. I was very pleased. It came with seasoned home fries that were also tasty. My wife enjoyed her eggs Benedict as well. Eggs were poached just right allowing for the runny yolk she enjoys. Also served with home fries. Her portion was also generous. Even at the bar the seating was comfortable and I didn't feel squeezed in even with every seat around me occupied. All in all we had a very nice brunch experience. The only thing I noticed as a slight negative was the somewhat tattered condition of the main menu. It was still readable but definitely showing its age. We will definitely be coming back though!

Yelp
The pictures of Betty's quirky interior caught my eye while visiting from out of town, and I'm so glad we stopped in for breakfast! We were lucky to beat the Saturday morning rush, but the old house converted to a restaurant looked like it would accommodate a pretty good amount of visitors. The menu has plenty to offer- daily specials, vegetarian/vegan options, and cocktails as well. After eating buffalo wings for two days straight, it was nice to finally order a relatively healthy meal that tasted even better than it looked. The smoked turkey hash was loaded with veggies and I would order it again in a heartbeat. Others ordered the chorizo omelette and the breakfast burrito, both of which received good reviews.

Yelp
This place always has a line out the door and is incredibly packed with people. It is difficult to get your waitress's attention and they are clearly busy. Their food is pretty standard ( I have gotten a variety of things but my go-to is your normal eggs breakfast). They do have a variety of available options for those who are gf, vegan or vegetarian.
google avatar

Carlie C.

Yelp
Such a cute spot for brunch in Allentown, with tons of vegetarian and vegan options! It's in an old house and has a very eccentric vibe. They had very different and distinctive options on their menu. I ordered the Chilaquiles Casserole, which was unlike anything I'd ever had before and was very tasty and filling. They had great drink options as well including wintery drinks that were delicious.
google avatar

L. W.

Yelp
The food was great! The line wasn't too bad and they sat us right near the window with a lovely view. The space was quaint and homey. The staff was lovely and very friendly. It was all that was described and more, great place to eat in Buffalo!
google avatar

Mel B.

Yelp
Betty's is a staple in the vegan Buffalo community, but it serves plant eaters and carnivores alike. The vibe is happy and the creative vegan options are so exciting that it's hard to choose just one. Just get the chickpea toona sandwich, and thank me later.
google avatar

Jenny G.

Yelp
Great location. Varied menu that is GF, DF, V friendly. Fun artwork inside and helpful staff.
google avatar

Vicky B.

Yelp
It's been years since I've had brunch at Betty's, but so glad I made my way back recently. Everything was just as great as I remembered. Lots of brunch items to choose from, great service and nice atmosphere. I ordered the chilaquiles casserole which was flavorful and filling. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Quite disappointed in our experience here after reading so many glowing reviews. The coffee was weak, the service was indifferent, and the food was just okay. I got the portabello benedict, which does not come with hollandaise (so why is it called benedict?) I paid extra for the gluten free bread, which was good, but would have been much better if it had been a little toasted and had some butter. The mushroom slices were rubbery and the eggs were overcooked. A few shreds of gouda on top provided completely inadequate flavor to a boring dish. My dining companions liked the potatoes, but I thought they were dry, and, though they looked well seasoned, they were not especially flavorful. A driveby quality check and no coffee refill. I would not return.

Yelp
What a nice find! We were visiting from Iowa and looking for a great breakfast place, and we found it. The food was great, the service was equal, and the atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming. I hope we can go back someday.

Yelp
The breakfast burrito and smoked salmon was really good. The best breakfast meals I tasted there. Very freshly made and appettizing breakfast meals. They have great options of food. Came there many times and the resaurant feels like home, dining area was so cool and pleasantly great. The coffee was fantastic. Always had a good time and friendly staff. Nice prices.

Yelp
visited buffalo and needed a good brunch spot so the thing to do is consult yelp and I did not disappoint. the location seemed like an old house turned in to a restaurant. I had to go with the luv sandwich as I'm a creature of habit. the best thing I took away from the item was the sprouts. I never had sprouts on a sandwich before but now I can't live without when I make something at home. so thanks to Bettys for introducing.
google avatar

Yelp
Betty's is still a great brunch option for a mixed group. They have vegan options, classics, eclectic fair, and a fun brunch cocktail menu. I had the breakfast hash, vegan, and a pomegranate cider mimosa. Everything was delicious and we were able to sit and catch up for almost two hours without feeling rushed. I got there a little before ten to put our names down and they called us in about twenty minutes. They won't seat you before your whole party arrives but we got lucky with timing. It can get very busy on the weekend but the place didn't feel crowded or loud. We got plenty of attention from our server and had a great experience overall.
google avatar

Lisanne W.

Yelp
Another epic breakfast French toast with eggs, sausage and home fries with side of fresh feta cheese. Super delish and so much food. Can't go wrong with Betty's and a Cranberry Mimosa
google avatar

Yelp
This place was a good find! I haven't had eggs Benedict in a long time, but was able to get a gf bun in place of the English muffin- yum! I got the special - heuvos benedicto! Everyone in our party was pleased with their food! Service was good too!

Yelp
Betty's was the first breakfast stop on my 2023 birthday trip. I am so happy I found this spot and stopped here to eat. There is plenty of parking on the streets around, so no worry there. Nice, safe area if you need to walk a bit to the restaurant This place is super cute. Nice patio on the outside for those who aren't allergic to bees lol. Where I sat, I faced a brick wall, which I always love to see in restaurants, just love that look. Colourful artwork was hung everywhere. There was a bar area in front near the entrance, but sadly, I didn't stop long enough to get a good look at that. The chairs were comfy, which is always a plus. Meg M was my server. She was super friendly and brought me everything I needed. I didn't have to wait for anything. Very nice person. Everything gluten-free on the menu is clearly marked, which is why I chose this restaurant. I have always to choose my restaurants before a trip in advance to make sure I can get GF items. This restaurant is excellent for those limited by a gluten-free diet. I ordered a pineapple mimosa and (from the menu): Carnitas Con Huevos GF Corn tortillas topped with slow-roasted pulled pork with salsa verde, yellow rice and two eggs any style Wow...that pork. Best carnitas I've ever had anywhere. This breakfast was delicious. All the elements complimented each other so well and the egg yolk made the pork all the more decadent. The portion size is perfect. It was so good; I cleaned my plate. If you saw my reviews from Philly later in the week, you'll see that the price-to-portion ratio is much more fair here. Even the mimosa was a generous pour for the price. (The drinks in Philly were tiny for more $). Bettys is more than fair in value and the food is so very delicious. I wish the rest of my trip had been as fabulous as this start to it. Visit Bettys. You will enjoy it, and I highly recommend this restaurant! Not a negative thing to say about it.

Yelp
Betty's was pretty close to where we stayed when we were in Buffalo and I wanted to make sure we tried it, and I am so glad we did! We went for a weekday breakfast so we got a table immediately. I did notice a line outside on Sunday when I crossed the place. Like some other spots in the neighborhood, they have turned an old house around into a restaurant and that really gives the place a very charming/warm welcoming vibe. We were a party of 4 so we ordered quite a bit and not a single dish disappointed. Everything we ordered was vegetarian. The place had enough options to include various dietary requirements. A special mention to their waffles, which was on their specials. By far the best fluffiest, mouth melting waffles I've had at a breakfast place! The service was good and our server kept checking on us to see if everything was ok. Overall, will surely go back to Betty's if I am in Buffalo again
google avatar

Lucy Y.

Yelp
If you want to skip the crowd, come for an 8am weekday breakfast! That's what we did today, and we were seated immediately. Much better than dealing with the weekend crowds! We were impressed with the vegan & gluten free options: Scrambled Mess - a caramelized mix of onions, squash, & some other veg on top of Just Egg, w/their great potatoes & toast. I chose Brian's Best gluten free toast & the toasted roll I got was AMAZING. Crunchy outside, chewy inside, far exceeding my gluten free expectations. Breakfast Sammich - Canadian bacon, cheese, Just Egg, served w/those potatoes. This was a GREAT breakfast sammich - hearty & delicious. Coffee was good & generously flowing. Service was warm & attentive. We left near 10am-ish & the place was 95% full - on a Wednesday. I get why it's always so crowded here! Next time I come back, it will be for a Betty's burger on a Brian's Best bun! (Note to self!)

Yelp
I'm on my way to Rochester, NY for a business trip, and decided to stop in Buffalo for lunch. I found Betty's after a quick Google search for vegan wings in Buffalo. While the wings were ok the star of the show was the Beefless weck! This is their vegan version of Beef on Weck which is famous in western New York. I'm so excited to know a vegan version of this exists! I would have given it 5 stars if the wings were on par with the Beefless Weck. Deb was my server, and she was very friendly and pleasant! The atmosphere is pretty cool as you can tell it's a really old renovated building. I would definitely visit again.
google avatar

May T.

Yelp
Nice brunch spot in Allentown! I would give it like a 4-4.5 stars out of 5 stars! It is definitely overhyped and not what I expected. My friend and I got the eggs Benedict's (I got the portabella one) it was quite delicious but I still don't think this is my favorite brunch spot in Buffalo. The wait times can get really long after 11 am on the weekends so I would try to come early since you cannot make any reservations on the Yelp app.
google avatar

Shala W.

Yelp
HORRIBLE I've been here a bunch of times and I loved there seasonal menu. I always found something I enjoyed. Until they added this weird shrimp and grits thing that was like baked grits formed into a hard square. If you know what grit ball is this grits would probably give someone a black eye. The food service is fast but it might be because the traffic has slowed down. I thought they were closing so i decided to go here for brunch on a date and I felt so bad for even considering this restuarant. The inside paint is starting to look more worn than just the vintage look. It needs a serious clean and dust. There were a bunch of flies which is never a good sign in food service. This place has serious potentional and which social providence closed this place could definitely use more love. I will not be back unless this place seeks a remodel.

Dana R.

Yelp
Great food and vibe highly recommend this place Parking has gotten much better Drinks are great

Yelp
The Scarlet Vetter says: Had a fabulous breakfast here solo during the week. I had the Charbroiled Shrimp and Cheesy Grits and Over Easy Eggs. The fresh jalapeno slices are an awesome touch. I had the Rye Bread as my bread option. Yum yum. Great service, decent price.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally made it back to Betty's after a few years out of Buffalo. Met a friend for brunch on a Tuesday and it was lovely. They weren't overly packed which was nice. I got the smothered cornbread breakfast special. It was scrambled eggs, black beans , pico and sour cream. It was delicious. It reminded me of an old favorite I used to get here that was beans and rice and cornbread came on the side. Needless to say I was very happy about it. They have decaf coffee and great boozy drinks including boozy coffee! Tons of options and honestly you can't go wrong. I love Betty's.

Brandon K.

Yelp
We ate at Betty's twice during our road trip back and forth across the northeast. My son has a severe allergy and they accommodated carefully and he really enjoyed his meal. The food and service was great and the amount of care they showed regarding the allergy was much appreciated. I hope to go back again!
google avatar

Melanie R.

Yelp
Betty's is my first pick whenever I'm wanting brunch in Buffalo. There's always a line, which if we're being honest, is a great sign. Service is quick and attentive. Great menu! Lots of vegan options which is a huge bonus.
google avatar

Rosa W.

Yelp
Stopped by betty's again on a sunday around 1pm, there was no wait for 2 people. Again, food was okay, french toast didn't wow me. But good prices and good portions. They also make a great cocktail.
google avatar

Zach S.

Yelp
Had a great brunch here over the weekend. I say brunch because it was 10am and they let us order from the dinner menu. Breakfast burrito was excellent, the beefless weck was fantastic, the home fries were good, the service was friendly, the place was comfortable and well-decorated, and the coffee was freshly made. No complaints, will return.

Yelp
Was in town for a family weekend and wanted to try a local favorite. After all the reviews and recommendations from the locals settled on this place. Unfortunately in this case my fellow Yelpers have gotten this place very wrong. Maybe in it's heyday this was the spot to be, but not today. Came here for breakfast, and was handed two menus, a regular one and a day special. Usually I get the standard eggs and back or sausage, but this time decide d to get something off the special menu. When I asked, I was told the waffles and chicken sliders were one of the best. So I went and ordered that. When I got my order, it seemed a bit flat. When I checked between the waffles , there was basically one of those frozen chicken finger patties ( like Purdue patties) you buy in a grocery store. I know people are hurting but this was ridiculous. It tasted okay, but NOT the chicken and waffles I was hoping for. The reason for one star was because they actually had audacity to put this on the daily specials menu. That's what got me to the point of giving them one star. On the plus side the waitresses we're very nice and really trying. Note to the chef....if you can't deliver on a dish, don't put it on the menu, and especially don't put as your daily special.

Yelp
Very good sausage and cheese omelette. Very good coffee too. Great service. Lots of seating. Street parking.

Yelp
I finally was able to come for brunch on Father's Day. At 1030am seating was wide open. We split the biscuits with chorizo gravy and it slapped. Sat at the patio with huz and my dog. Very dog friendly.

Michael B.

Yelp
What a place!!! Had brisket hash. Spicy, rich and full flavored!! My wife had the largest, best breakfast nachos!! Not too spicy but VERY Mexican tasting!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Billy V.

Yelp
Four of us sat down for brunch sunday at 10am. Peak time for brunch.. service was fast and efficient. Our drink orders came out very prompt. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.
google avatar

Niema K.

Yelp
Who made these drinks?!?!?!? Whoooooww! Deliciousness My daughter had a peach mimosa that she loved and she's tipsy. By the way her birthday is today. Yaye 26!!!!!! My grandson is in the pictures too he is two. My babies. Anyway I think I ordered an old fashioned mule. Yummy in my tummy and I tipsy. Kudos to the bartender. The food was goos too. Well not the pasta salad. My daughter ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich with a side of pasta salad. Neither of us liked the side. She enjoyed her sandwich very much though. I ordered the scrambled mess with homefries and seeded rye toast. It was very good. The homefries they're so good.
google avatar

Yelp
Great space, service much improved from a previous visit Companion #2's vegan pizza was inedible but they took it back and replaced with a salad that see loved . No hassle Companion #1 loved her Black Bean salad I found The Chicken and waffle sliders to be disappointing not much flavor and not a lot of food for $16 Drinks Ice Tea and coffee sure add to the bill Not sure I'll be back

Yelp
My roommate and his girlfriend took me out to Betty's and it was truly amazing! It was all of our first time trying this place out. Let's just say we came hungry and left happy! Overall this place is a 5/5 We ordered the following items: three pepper pasta, grilled salmon , and the bubba burger. Of course I can't speak to their meals as I am vegan, but they both spoke highly about their meal. This place was so delicious I literally ordered take out from them the very next day. The customer service while placing that order was horrible. I was constantly being rushed off the phone and cut while speaking. I got a black bean quesadilla which was phenomenal. One of the better ones I've ever tried. Misc : - they do accept reservations - the place has nice ambiance but the aesthetic itself is hard to describe - the waitstaff (during our experience eating in person) was amazing! Special shout-out to our server Madeline.

Yelp
If you haven't been to betty's it's a must. The food is always fantastic, plus you have your choice to eat inside or the outside patio. This morning I ordered to go, I got carnitas con huevos which is corn tortillas topped with slow roasted pulled pork with salsa verde yellow rice and eggs mines were over easy! It was delicious and my twin was like whoa! Lol good times r a must... I love me amazing food!

Yelp
I stopped here yesterday with friends for breakfast. My two friends hadn't been to Betty's before so we had to check it out. My one friend had an iced tea and a cranberry type of casserole. She loved it. I don't see it on their brunch menu. My other friend and I each had coffee and a mickey casserole. I don't see it in on their breakfast or brunch menu but it was really good. The coffee was really good as was the waiter. He was really nice. He let us chat and didn't rush us out of there. I've been there four other times but only for breakfast. They have great mimosas and other drinks. I loved my experience here yesterday and will definitely return.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! You just have to get there early or be prepared to wait. Today we had the specials: chocolate and strawberry waffles, Mickeys Casserole, and the French toast Blueberry Egg Bake. I would have preferred Mickeys Casserole to be a little more well some for my liking but still very good.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food. Lots of menu choices. Great service. Very walkable neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Brunch at Betty's is a must! We were so thankful it was across the street from our Airbnb. We arrived at 9 am, and we were the last people to be seated without a little wait. The drinks and food are worth the wait. We were lucky enough to be sitting on the patio. The weather is perfect in June. It did start to rain while we were there but stopped before we left. I had one of their summer cocktail specials, the Raspberry Mimosas. It was good but a little too sweet for me, so I had a Bloody Mary after finishing it. It was perfectly spicy. We ordered the blueberry coffee-like cake special. It was delectable--a perfect combination of blueberries, cake, cinnamon, cream, and other baking secrets. The side of fruit was very fresh and a good variety. To go with the sweet we ordered a savory dish too. We got the southwest egg scramble with potatoes. The egg scramble as so good that we didn't eat the tortilla. I, of course, like a bit of heat, so I mix ketchup with hot sauce to dip my potatoes. This place is a definite requirement for brunch if you are in Buffalo.

Sarah D.

Yelp
Betty's was such a great experience. First, our waitress, Rachel, was very pleasant and professional. She kept our cups filled with hot coffee. She offered pleasant, light conversation. My food was delicious. I ordered the waffles with ham. The ham was sliced off the bone. The waffles included fresh fruit. The fruit was definitely fresh and refreshing. The special ingredients on the waffles were just scrumptious. The waffles had cinnamon sauce, and. crème anglaise. There was a bit of powdered sugar, that was definitely not overpowering, along with whip cream that was so very delicious. Honestly, I did not even need to use the maple syrup. I would definitely go back
google avatar

Lindsey R.

Yelp
Betty's is a cute convenient place we stopped at for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were seated immediately and felt the service was decent throughout. The food was ok, but not likely somewhere we would dine again. The avocado toast definitely needed more avocado to earn its name, and the french toast casserole was dry which was a let down because it definitely had the potential to be amazing. Overall, good for a quick bite!
google avatar

Mr K.

Yelp
Wondering if the cook has lost their taste? Potatoes were uneatable.. so much add season... the eggs and bacon were good. Went here because they have gluten-free options (sort of)

Yelp
Everybody living in the area has heard of Betty's brunch, so this weekend I had to go try. Honestly one of the best brunches in the area. We had a bit of a wait to get seated I think less then a half hour. I had a Bloody Mary and it was one of the best I have ever had, the heat and seasoning was perfect. I got the shrimp and grits that also came with two eggs and toast. The food was so good, I ate everything and I usually can't do that. My husband got chicken and waffles and he loved his. I love the artwork on the walls, and it's got a very nice vibe. The only reason I said four stars is due to the fact our food took forever to get to us. After our order was placed we waited 40 minutes which is just too long, other then that I would definitely return.

My fiancé LOVES breakfast, so when we were in town, we had to stop by. It was a weekday so it was less busy and we quickly got a seat and our waiter was friendly and attentive. We each got mimosas to bring on the day, and I ordered chicken and waffles. They were made into little waffle sandwiches, with the chicken crispy, with the sweetness of the maple syrup sauce adding a perfect balance. Those potatoes were of course crispy, and there was no need to hide with ketchup, they had enough flavor on their own. My fiancé got biscuits and gravy which he was raving about.
