A lovely hotel with beautiful views. Food is very good. Staff are very helpful, and the bar is good too. We had a lovely room, but it only had a sink, and we had to go down the corridor and turn right to get to the bathroom. It wasn’t just next door to the room. We had a code for the door, so it was a private bathroom and it was well equipped. Can’t remember the last time we didn’t have an en-suite. It worked for us, but wasn’t ideal.

We stayed here on our NC500 trip. Great hotel. The room was very nice and big and spacious. Everything was clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Zack. The service we received frok the staff was incredible. The food was okay, not amazing. Would definitely recommend 👌

Stayed here for 4 nights while we explored the area - it was perfectly situated for our needs||Our room (which had spectacular sea views) felt recently renovated and was spotless. We stayed here for 2 nights on our NC500 tour. The hotel is in an amazing location overlooking two beautiful beaches. The staff were all welcoming, friendly, and professional, although we were surprised that the 3 pm check-in time didn't just mean that the room would not be available until then; the hotel was actually closed until 3 pm, so you can't get into the building if you arrive early. Anyway, once we got in, we found our room to be clean, warm, bright, and light, modern, well-equipped, and spacious, with stunning views of the sea. We stayed in some far more expensive hotels on our tour, but we thought this room was one of the best we experienced. Bettyhill hotel had everything we needed for our 2-night stay and exceeded our expectations. If you stay here, try to make time for the excellent local museum, which tells the grim story of the forced village clearances in the C18th and C19th.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Disappointing to find the previous guests used towels had been left behind and we couldn’t get the tv to work properly. The staff were very good both on reception and in the restaurant. Food was very good too. We thought the room rate was quite expensive comparatively.

Thank you so much. Staff (Nick and Gabi) were ever so welcoming and helpful. We stayed during Storm Amy and they couldn't have done any more to make us feel safe and accomodated.||Breakfast was lovely, as was an evening meal. The views are spectacular. Room was spotless.||When we return to complete the Nc500 we'll be sure to call in. Thank you

Stayed here whilst cycling Lands End to John O’Groats and it was possibly our favourite stop. Great hotel in a beautiful location and Carl, the owner, could not have been more welcoming. Great dinner and breakfast, with a view of the ocean. Secure storage for the bikes was no problem

We stayed at the Bettyhill Hotel with our dog for one night. On arrival, we went straight to our room and were extremely pleased with its size. The hotel looks recently updated, everything was very clean, and the room had all the conveniences we needed, including a great television and excellent Wi-Fi.||It’s very dog friendly, which made our stay even better. The evening meal was really good, and breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our visit.||I would highly recommend the Bettyhill Hotel — especially for travellers with dogs.

Yelp
My stay at the Bettyhill Hotel was delightful. The staff were welcoming and helpful and able to accommodate my sister and I arriving a little later than usual after a long day of driving. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a modern renovated bathroom. Dinner and Breakfast were delicious and filling with an amazing view of the North Scotland coast. Dramatic scenery, a comfortable environment, can't be beat! I would definitely come back here in the future!
