First time patron, Food was fantastic! Had a Dbl. Black Knight with onion strings! Large chili-cheese fries and a brownie for dessert!! The burger was very, very good, juicy and piping hot! The Onion Strings were light and not greasy, and a whole lot of them! The Chili-cheese fries were delicious! Get the smaller order because there's a lot of them when ordering a large serving. All in all a great place for American food in Douglass, USA!!😋

Can I give 6 stars? Love this place, the staff, the food, the atmosphere are all fabulous. If you wanna go somewhere and get treated like family stop by Betty's I have been there a few times now had to go back to try the different varieties of home made ice cream and haven't been disappointed yet. The hamburger is cooked to perfect and the fries are freshly made. Love the indoor outdoor seating where you feel like one big family everyone is just so friendly. Did I mention the ice cream the Lemon Poppy Seed is so amazing they also have brownies and little coconut pies.

Food was delicious! Highly reccomend the Black Knight Burger and funnel cake fries! The service was PHENOMENAL!

Friendly staff and excellent service ! I had the Black Knight burger which is their signature burger with onion crispers , bbq sauce and pepper-jack cheese. The BLT was with croissant bread very buttery and a perfect amount of crisp . I will be visiting again. They had very clean bathrooms too!

Very disappointed, had such potential but sadly lacked in the food preparation and the service. Hand-cut French fries warm/cold, over seasoned hamburger to the point it was inedible, cold grill cheese sandwich (how do you do that?) and luck warm soup. The girl that took our order at countertop acted like she didn’t want to be there. The atmosphere was great but obviously no one is checking the food going out to customers.

Delicious burger and hot handcut fries. What more can you ask? Small but very cute seating area inside and very nice outside. Very nice staff. They made an error on the order and fixed it quickly and went above and beyond with the replacement. An asset to the area!

Restaurant is decorated super cute is really clean and inviting had a enclosed shaded patio area where you could enjoy visiting and eating your meal the glass wall slides open for beautiful fresh air and sunshine to come in making it perfect for the mild weather the day we went!! The lady that waited on us was by herself was the little frazzled but extremely friendly and pleasant to all the customers she did forget my water but she brought me out a 32 oz glass of water when she did remember instead of the usual small size 👍 I love chili cheese with onions as a topping on pretty much anything so I gave their chili cheese french fries a try and was disappointed in the flavor of the chili and the cheese was cold the fries were either old and have been sitting there for a while or cooked and then microwave because they were flavorless so they could definitely improve on at least that menu item. I would go back again for the atmosphere and the pleasant service but I would order something different and hope for the best 👍

Finally got to try this place out. I had not been by when they were open. Great decor and atmosphere. Service was outstanding. Food was delicious. I made the mistake of ordering a double. I left there stuffed - wasn't hungry for dinner that night. I will certainly be back. Highly recommend!

Excellent food coupled with such a wonderful ambiance inside and out to enjoy your meal and the staff are so sweet and friendly too!! Betty's has it ALL going on! Hands down the best burgers! Huge servings of fries and rings, and they are so delicious too! Even though your tummy will be full after your meal DO NOT miss out indulging in their delightful desserts! I would suggest taking a pint or two of their wonderful homemade ice creams home with you too!

We were fans of Betty's under the old owners, but the new owners should be proud! Everything was great and to the same high standard that we had grown accustomed to! We love the black knight burgers and the shakes. Plus the place is adorable. Well worth the drive to Douglass from Mulvane!

This is the best burger joint I've ever visited... Anywhere! Besides the fact that the restaurant is decorated as cute as a button, the food is hot and fantastic! I've never had such a good burger. And the onion strings are to die for! The staff were completely friendly and professional, and seemed happy to be there. This place deserves more than five stars!

I was excited to try this place and was truly blown away by how great it was. My first impression was of the decor, which was very inviting and fun. Then the service at the front counter was exceptional and friendly. With all that said, the food was the true star. Juicy burgers, some of the best I have ever eaten, with all the fixings. Fries were excellent along with onion straws. This is a place worth the drive outside of Wichita to Douglas, KS. Sorry, did not get the hours so check before you go.

Greeted by a wonderful gal behind counter! *sorry forgot her name. Despite a long line and being busy she took her time with us! She was exceptionally friendly and offered suggestions when ordering! So nice to see how busy this place got while we were there! The double cheeseburger with everything along with homemade hand cut fries was exactly what I was hoping for-A Mouthwatering feast! Best juiciest cheeseburger I've had in a long time! I'll definitely return especially since they also have "homemade" ice cream, malt milkshakes & cherry limeades!

Betty's has great food!! The hamburgers are amazing! Their homemade ice cream is also a must try!!! The service is super friendly and the decor alone is worth checking out!!!

Food is amazing! Service is slow. The Decor is really pretty lots of seating+ inside and outside) . The ice cream is rich and smooth. Pricey but will go again.

Awesome burger joint 15 mins outside of Derby close to Rose Hill!!! Burgers were well crafted and chili fries were to die for! Place is cozy and decorations were phenomenal! Highly recommend!!!!

I went back a second time in a month! Food is so good and fresh! Service is great and the ambiance is fun. It was already busy right after they open at 11. Worth the wait!

Interesting place. Just opened and they still have their traing wheels on. I'll have a: Chili dog. No chili Salad. No salad Soup. No soup BLT on wheat. No bread, just croissants OK, they win. I took a BLT and ask if they would toast it (they didn't). So. If you are in Douglass and ready for $10 BLT on a buttery croissant. Bon appetite

Hamburgers and fries were awesome. Large order of fries serves 2 people. Clean and friendly. This is fresh cooked so don't be in a hurry. Save room for ice cream.

Nice people and great food! The building is very well done. Their take out business seems to be booming. If you have a larger group seating might be an issue.

Very rude response when asked if there was a phone number for call in orders. Very slow. Food was cold. And the ambience was a little hostile. Definitely not worth wasting my time or money there. Thank you. You should definitely try Sweet Thangz! Worth the money, worth the drive!

My wife and I ate here for lunch today, 1st time we have been here. One of the best cheeseburgers we have ever had. Fresh cooked by folks that were amazingly friendly. We had onion straws as well and they were homemade and delicious. Sadly we skipped getting any ice cream today but we will be back. A friendly, comfortable place run by people that genuinely enjoyed serving you. Our go to cafe that we used to drive a bit to get to recently closed when the owners retired so I think Battey's will be seeing more of us.

Great food and excellent service! Definitely recommend driving down the this little restaurant for a great burger and some homemade ice cream!

Friendly service and excellent food. I got the double cheeseburger and i love that they grill their onions. The meat had a good flavor but was really greasy. The fries were thick cut and fresh. I'm not sure what they were seasoned with but they were some of the best I've ever had (with homemade ranch too). The onion straws were perfectly crispy without feeling greasy, and the ratio of onion and breading was just right. I didn't try the ice cream but i had a homemade Cherry limeade and it was so crispy and refreshing. It's not very fast, but it's a sit down place so that's okay, especially since almost everything was made from scratch. Love that they have outdoor seating too so I could bring my dog. They could use some music outside for a little ambiance. Bathroom requires a key but was very clean and cute. We drove from Winfield just to eat here and it was worth the drive.

The food, service and ambiance was top notch. Your food is cooked after you order so...you may have a short wait time but folks, it is worth every minute! We will be back again and again.

I'm going to make this a five star review however it is probably really a 4 1/2 however, the food is one of the best burgers I've ever had, the service is friendly, but it is extremely slow. When we were there, it took 25-30 minutes to get our burgers and that was after even probably 10 to 15 minutes to get our order taken at the counter because the lady working on the counter was making the drinks and the shakes for everybody before she would take the next order. So I felt like there was an efficiency issue there. But that burger, kind of makes up for it. I also had the onion straws, I wish they were regular onion rings. The flavor on them was fantastic. Just kind of hard to eat. They also have homemade pies and shakes! They close at 7:00pm (kinda early) so plan your trip accordingly and there isn't much seating, but definitely worth the trip!!

Food is delicious! The atmosphere is unique and comfortable. Love their BLT's on the croissants and the cherry limeade is delicious! Pricing is high but when you are not a chain restaurant it makes sense to have to charge more!

I ate here at 1:00 on a Wednesday. Burger was good, fries were good. I didn't get ice cream. Solid four stars but not five stars, I've had better burgers. Nice staff. Took 20 minutes to get food.

Do yourself a favor if you are close to Douglass, Ks. They have a new restaurant featuring burgers which are fantastic. Douglass has long needed a burger place like this, which is SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE OLD CRAIG'S restaurant. This place has a fantastic ambiance which is a great place to meet your friends and enjoy a really good menu where I believe it is all from scratch. The price may at first seem expensive, but it it no more some than Freddy's or Five Guy's, which have the same quality items and you will want to return , it is even worth the drive from Wichita or Winfield for the relaxing setting.

This place is so homey! The decor is amazing. The food was excellent. I had the burger and homemade fries and my girls raved about the grilled cheese and malt chocolate shake. We had to drive 45 minutes but totally worth it. The staff was awesome and it felt like walking into a southern restaurant down home (Alabama). I highly recommend this place for a lunch date with friends or family. If you eat in the restaurant, it doesn't have a lot of sitting for large parties so plan accordingly. The have a nice outside seating patio too. Will go here again!

I tried Betty's for the first time today and LOVED it! My husband had eaten there several times before when out in Douglass for work and decided he needed to drive me out there so I could try it too. I still have yet to make it out to Louie's in Rose Hill, and while my husband is a fan of Louie's, he says really likes Betty's too. So--attention Louie's fans--you should give Betty's a try! We both had cheeseburgers (you can choose which condiments/veggies you want on your burger), and I had the tots while my husband had the hand cut fries. Everything was made fresh (be patient--it's worth it!) and everything was DELICIOUS! The burgers were so SO good. They reminded me of Shake Shack burgers (minus the sauce, of course)--I wonder if they use the same buns? The tots were hot and crispy, and my husband's fries were great too, and I'm typically not a fan of hand cut fries. I also had a cherry limeade that was insanely good. They also make their own ice cream, so we bought a couple pints to take home and a strawberry shake for the road. WOW! Absolutely delicious! On top of the great food, the staff was super friendly and it's a really cute little building. Small inside, but there is a nice patio outside with some additional seating. It's probably best for our waistlines that we don't live closer, but we will definitely be back!

Looked like a great place to try so we went in for a quick lunch. Waited over an hour for food that never came with no communication from employees. Left with a refund and hungry. Hopefully I can get over being salty about this and give them another try. Maybe. I will say the atmosphere was great. Beautifully decorated and clean.
