Between 2 Buns Burgers

I was gonna gatekeep this place but its too good not to share 😭 Most amazing burger in the city, by far!!! Fantastic sauce, well balanced and zesty! Definitely will come back as much as possible - the staff was amazing too! The smokey atmosphere really completed the vibe. Love this place, wish i could give like 50 more stars!!

Stopped here before heading to stand outside the last night of the Eras tour haha This place has been on my list a while and it did not disappoint in any way. Super friendly service and let me try a few beers. Sold me on the feature burger that was the Taylor Swiss, made me think if Bob’s Burgers. Then changed my order cause it wasn’t a smash burger and that was the theme for my weekend hahaha The burger itself was OUTSTANDING! Great crisp and still juicy. A miracle! All the toppings elevated it and they cheese was melty perfection. Do yourself a favour and check this place out!

First off - yeah you’ll smell a bit like burgers after eating here, but it’s worth it. Holy crap these burgers are so good, dare I say the best in Vancouver. Got the double cheese and waffle fries. Perfect smash burger with really well seasoned fries. The burger and fries are for sure on the pricier side (about $25 for a burger and fries), but it is totally worth it.

I took my colleague here for a lunch meeting and to get his thoughts on the place I have been raving about. My colleague ordered the Jalapeño Smash Burger and I tried the Spicy Vegan Chicken burger with orders of dirty fries. We were both impressed with the flavours of our burgers. My Spicy Vegan burger has the “Wow” factor. Always love the dirty fries. Really helps when the service is welcoming and very helping with the menu. All in all, experience, service and delicious burgers and fries checks off all the boxes for a place to enjoy with friends!

Stopped in mid-July based on the great reviews. Kept it simple with a single cheeser. Not sure if the cook was just off their game that day but my burger was smashed so thin it was dry and barely noticeable. Bun to burger ratio was poor and too much sauce so I could barely taste the patty. When I tried some of the patty on its own it lacked flavour. Maybe I got a bad day but I won't be back. Plenty of other burgers out there to try. Service and atmosphere were good.

Other than inhaling and smelling like a patty all night, the smashed burger went beyond my expectations. I have burgers all over Vancouver but everything pales in comparison. I didn’t expect the best burger ive ever had in this smoky joint; but good lord im already plotting my next return. 10/10 can eat 3 of these. Eat with fries so you can savour your meal

Smash burgers at its finest. There's few places in Vancouver that do smash burgers justice. The smash burger was very balanced and popped. The retro arcade machine was fun to play with. The "cheese fries" uses a nacho jalapeno base cheese which works really well with the smash burger. The salt spring blackberry yuzu tastes like cranberries with alcohol, it's not strong but goes well with the rest of the food. Pricing was pretty fair for an artisan burger. the store needs some AC as it's a little uncomfortable when the weather flares up, but I won't deduct points for that. Overall, I give it 5/5, definitely a must visit for anyone who considers themselves a foodie.
