Did not disappoint! Most flavorful calaloo i’ve had outside of my granny’s house and the young lady in the morning was so pleasant and friendly. I had the calaloo with salt fish/butter beans, boil food (sweet potato/irish, yam, banana, boiled dumplin) and i got another fried dumplin on the side cus they were looking good! My belly was pleased and now I’m looking forward to this breakfast again and again. $15 plate

If you do stop by. Make sure you order one of Eddy’s custom mixes. I’ve been stopping here for over 13 years and one of those juice mix contributed to the conception of my now 12 year old daughter. (The Magnum Mix)

The young man at the counter was pleasant however I was not impressed at all with the food in general The greens were mushy and taste awful, the oxtails were very tender but lack the delicious flavor thats known for island fair. The best part of the meal was the all so simple rice and peas. I feel really taken for spending 20.80 on a “small” oxtail dear ne’er. No disrespect but I’m a well respected chef .This was honestly not good food. It will be my first and last time visiting this place.

I’ve probably eaten at 95% of the Jamaican places in ALL OF Atlanta as I’m a contractor and drive all over. This place has THE BEST OXTAIL ever! The gravy is thick & dark, almost black with a slight sweetness to it. Some places have a brown gravy with the oxtail and it’s not nearly as flavorful. I also love the salmon dish but I’m trying to be a little bit healthier. It’s spicy enough to get your nose running but not insanely spicy either. Last but not least the folks behind the counter are always pleasant, kind & sweet.

I don’t usually write reviews but wanted to for this restaurant. She lets you sample dishes, which is great. I sampled and bought the curry goat, which was just alright. The rice and peas were dried out. All the food sits under a light out in the open all day. The fried dumpling was gross though, it was hard and tasted old. Maybe it is better is the morning when everything is fresh, but I don’t have to go back.

Food was not good. Jerk chicken taste as if it was a day or two old plus it was dry and over cooked. Chicken wasn’t seasoned well. Rice and peas had no flavor and peas were hard (uncooked); rice wasn’t fully cooked. Crispy plantains??? Cabbage looked good but didn’t taste good. I sure hope you guys get it together. Best to you!

I've been to the location on mountain industrial Blvd twice. It's not listed on Yelp or Google. Usually when I patronize Jamaica resturants I stick to chicken or oxtail, but the first time I went out of my comfort zone and bought the curry goat. That decision paid off nicely. The goat was tender and plentiful and bursting with flavor and had a little kick. It also ontained 2 huge chunks of savory potatoes which broke up the monotony of the meat. The rice and beans was delicious and the fried plantains were sweet and caramelized and nicely balanced and the savory goat. Honestly I didn't try the cabbage because boiled/steamed cabbage is not my thing. I got a medium which was a huge portion. That day o almost ate myself into a blissful coma. Yesterday I returned to the location on mountain industrial Blvd. This time I ordered the trusty oxtail. The food this time was unremarkable. The rice and beans were a little waxy like it was heated up from yesterday's batch. The plantains were still sexy of course. The cabbage, I wouldn't touch with a 20 ft pole. The oxtails were just ok. Not the best I've had. It also a tad bitter like the cook use too much gravy browning. I will return and try the jerk chicken and a beef patty.

I have a thing where whenever I'm on the Eastside I try their Jamaican food. I was there hosting a job fair and decided to see what was close by, this place was six minutes away and I went to see what it was like. The order taker was very friendly (it's a running joke that if a Jamaican restaurant has good customer service the food is trash) but to my surprise it was actually really good! A bit spicy, but I like spice so that was fine. I will definitely be back!

Decent Jamaican food for really reasonable prices. $4.99 lunch specials (jerk chicken or stew chicken and comes with a side of rice & peas, cabbage & plantains). * The jerk chicken was flavorful & spicy. You can get it with or without jerk sauce. Comes with 3 pieces of chicken. Good flavor but the chicken was a little dry. The rice & peas were really good. My favorite were the plantains!! Needed that hint of sweetness to go with the spice. The cabbage was ok. * Pretty good food. The best part are the prices. Would definitely come back.

They got extra points for staying open past closing time for me. The place looked clean, organized giving a great impression. Then I saw the 84 score on the wall and my eyes got big. The elderly gentleman made my combo plate with love. Watching him add extra jerk sauce on my chicken and spoon on more yummy brown stew gravy per my request made my mouth water. The cabbage and carrot medley and plantains accompanied the large plate with an order of coco bread. I got home and enjoyed every juicy tender flavorful bite of the delicious Caribbean fare. I'd definitely return but that score is concerning and I'd really like for them to raise that!

Came to patronize on my lunch break on Saturday before my birthday Jan 2, when I walked in the place it smelled old, had poor customer service, and on top of that as I went to eat; the food smelled like it was spoiled and old .... within hours after eating it I began to have a fever, vomiting, and diarrhea for 2days straight. I ended up with food poisoning. The worst food I ever tasted and it made me feel horribly sick ..... I'm very disappointed. I will never be back to this place again.

The owner is such a sweet woman! I went in and ordered the Jerk chicken dinner and the curry chicken dinner. I mentioned to her that it was only my second time trying Jamaican food since my husband had just turned me on to it the previous week. She let me sample EVERYTHING so that I could try something new next time I come. The food was delicious and filling, if you like spicy, the jerk chicken will be up your ally, my husband was thrilled with it. If, like me, you prefer something a little more tame, the curry chicken was incredibly flavorful, it had a little kick but it wasn't too spicy at all. Next time I'm getting Oxtails! So tender and flavorful. And while I'm not a fan of goat, I can say the goat curry was expertly seasoned and tender as well. The cake was also made in house, super moist and flavorful, buttery and sweet frosting. The lemon cake was my favorite! They also do fresh juice! I can't wait to try them out again after they reopen with their new renovations!

I had such high hopes, but can only give Bev's a two star. I got take out on a Thursday around 7pm. I tried the stew chicken with rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains. All of it tasted like it had been sitting there the whole day. Although the chicken had good flavor, parts of it was very dry and hard from sitting too long. The plantains were not really edible because it was hard and dry. The cabbage had little taste and too soft even for cabbage. In summary, food not fresh. The interior is not the most pleasing to look at if you wanted to dine in. It looks like they could use some deep cleaning. Also could not find a health score, which concerned me a little. The lady who helped me was very nice and friendly though. There's plenty of parking that's free.

How can you call yourself a Jamaican restaurant serving food like this. And to think you tought you can get away with it because it was a phone order. This patty was burned so bad the meat was black as FUCK and the pastry was way to big for the small amount of burt meat that was inside.

Average experience. Limited side choices available during my visit (Rice & peas and cabbage only). Food was not overly spicy. Paid $12 for a "small" plate, but the portion was generous.

I wanted something quick and cheap for lunch, so I decided to give this spot a try. I've had some not so great experiences with Jamaican restaurants, but the prices reeled me in. I ordered the regular jerk chicken $5 lunch special, a beef patty, and a red velvet cake. They ran out of red velvet, so it was subbed for pound cake, the chunk was huge and it was very moist and tasty. I ate the beef patty first. It was really good, the one thing that I think stays pretty consistent between Jamaican spots. The rice and peas and plantain that came with the special were really good. Cabbage was meh. I really liked the chicken too, nice and spicy! My only complaint is that there wasn't really much chicken. I read another review on here saying that the lunch plate came with 3 pieces of chicken, but I feel like normal pieces were cut in half to make it seem like more. So really you were personably getting the equivalent of maybe a nice sized thigh. But the rest of the food is more than enough to fill you. I have leftovers for tomorrow. Overall, great value for the price! Quick delivery as well. I ordered via UberEats and had my food within 20 minutes.

This was the absolute best Jamaican/Caribbean food I have had in a long time!!!! I had the Brown Stew Chicken plate--ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Caribbean food!! So good!!!

The oxtails were amazing! They even made the carrots taste good and I hate cooked carrots. I went at the end of the day when they were closing, so they were out of cabbage, but I'm excited to go back and try those too. Lol

I recently went back and i wasted my money on jerk chicken with sweet and sour tasting sauce it was gross I couldn't eat it and i threw it in the trash. I hate sweet tasting food especially in Jamaican.. was not like my first experience

This is probably the worst place i ate at. I mean the food was horrible. I order chicken rice and peace. Simple, you would think so. My chicken was not cook well done. The rice taste so plain. The only thing here was okay was the cabbage but i had better. I highly not recommend this place.

Needed lunch before the science march. This place is the real deal. The jerk chicken lunch was delicious with a big side of beans and rice. Significant other said the goat curry was like a bite of the Caribbean Service was fast and so kind.

Stopped over here on my lunch break and WOW!! This little spot whipped up some delicious food and it was good to my TUMMY.. I instantly turned into a magician! I did a "hocus pocus" on this food.. and just like that it was in my stomach. Lol.. I had the cabbage and jerk chicken... ill be back.

0 Stars if I could... I went to the one on Mountain industrial in Stone Mountain, Ga. It use to be Jamaica Mi Crazy. I would like to say that my family is Jamaican and this is nowhere near authentic. I had the oxtail and cabbage combo. The oxtail had no flavor is just looked good. The cabbage taste like straight water. I do not recommend this place and the lady was not very friendly that explains the food here customer service is #1 and quality is #2. I will continue to go to "Come take a Bite" in Norcross, Ga as well as "Mangos" downtown Atlanta. If you want the best go to the best NOT HERE! I took a few bites and trashed it. $16 down the drain!

This place is great. I've been a couple of times already and drive from Duluth to Stone Moutain to get it. The food is well seasoned and the taste is authentic. The portions are generous. Its usually two meals and priced very cheap. The service is decent. I would have given it 5 stars however the resturant has limiting seating and its too hot inside.

It's like going to Jamaica. The service & food is a 10*. But I can only rate it a 5. So if you want good home cook Jamaica food stop by see you there.

I contacted the restaurant and informed him that I was only given four oxtails in a large order that cost $20. He insisted that he had put 7 oxtails in the meal. I have a picture and witnesses to account that there were only four. I don't appreciate that he discounted my observation and denied what I was saying was true. The oxtails were not cooked well, aeb the oxtails meat being tuff, and the gristle crunchy. The oxtails were chewy and did not fall off the bone. There was hardly any meat provide. The gravy was thin. He did not offer to make up for the mistake and rushed me off the phone as he continued to deny my claim. I spent too much money to be so dissatisfied and discounted. I've never written a negative review before, but I felt compelled, given that I was essentially called a liar after spending $20 plus the delivery, services fees, and tip. I am more than disappointed and unsatisfied.
