I got to be honest my wife got so excited the moment she saw the name of this store. Her screaming: "The BevMo!" Me: "What's BevMo?" She took my hand and led me to the Liquor. How beautiful was this place.

This store went downhill really fast recently. I’ve been picking up orders from here for a while now as a delivery driver. I don’t know what’s changed recently, shortage of personal, or whatever but the customer service is just absent here now. They ignore you as if you didn’t exist, won’t open the door even tho you can hear them walking and talking behind. When they don’t ignore you, they are rude and unprofessional. It’s probably different for customers but it became awful for drivers. In assisting despite their own instructions they closed the third party pick up parking lot, making you go downstairs, then take an elevator upstairs to the loading dock and then you just wait forever when someone opens the door for you (or not). Hate picking up here now

Ran in to grab some things to make a margarita, or three, at home. I was overwhelmed with all the options but the posted signs made it easy to navigate. HANK, the cashier, was incredibly helpful when I asked a few questions and even ran to the back to get some fresh limes, as the basket beside the register was empty. Excellent customer service which is hard to find nowadays. Thank you Hank, I’ll be returning because of you! Cheers!

Always a funny clientele here as I think most people come for the prices and there always seems to be a spill or break making the floor a mess when I’m there - what luck! BUT the selection of liquors and mixes is good. Really represents the big names and the lesser knowns fairly well, plus if you want to try a new liquor without buying a regular size bottle that you might not like, they have a pretty extensive selection of single serves. I also like their glassware selection and the wine choices are solid if not exceptional.

So this store for the first time asked me to leave my backpack in a shopping cart by the front of the store while I shop. Not in a locker, but in a shopping cart, and when I refused, they told me that I could not shop there. They lost my business. How is it that stores will ask you to trust them with your personal goods but they won’t trust you as a shopper? Are they also asking women to leave their purses in the shopping cart even though it’s much easier to put stolen goods in a purse than the backpack that is on somebody’s back? Why do they need this policy when there are security cameras AND security guards? Plenty of other places in the area.

The selection here is endless! I like to come here when I'm stocking up for a party as you can find absolutely anything you're looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they have drinks and all price ranges. Plenty of easy parking and not too busy.

i've been coming to this store for the last month and a half and tonight i was treated in the worst way possible by the manager lakita. the cashier was a male with blonde slightly curly hair and i asked him for the price of a specific item he did not know so he asked lakita who is the manager. she looked up very sarcastic rolled her eyes and neck and said she did not know, which left myself and the cashier stunned....being in customer service for over a decade i was expecting her to go and find out the price of the item that i wanted. i instantly declined the item based on her attitude and her non-willingness to assist myself and the cashier. i told him just forget it don't worry about it.. i don't want it now because she has an attitude. when she heard me say that she aggressively began walking towards the cash register and stopped. i was under the impression that she was going to fight me or get in my face. i then ask the cashier who his manager was and unfortunately it was her this was so disappointing because i felt like i had no one to run too. she then began to make small talk about me to the security guard and they thought it was very funny. the security guard is possibly hispanic tall female kind of large body... she is also very rude and unwelcoming neither one of them speak to you when you walk in the store or tell you to have a good night but they look at you like girls off the street that are aggressive. and they thought that my unfortunate encounter was very funny and i don't appreciate that. no one appreciates being laughed at by employees and security of the business they're patronizing.

Big, spacious and helpful... The BevMo of WeHo is a must go! The BevMologist aka BevMo crew is some of the most knowledgeable in various departments for your specific needs. While we could not track down a specific brand of Bloody Mary Mix known as Major Peter's w/ Tapatio we did manage to find some new ones to try and various things. Due to the Scotch Whisky) shortage for various factors including the the battle overseas (many Scotch Whisky producers source their barley from Ukraine) there were a few go to items I didn't see on the shelf in the darker delicious spirits section. BevMo does a great job filling in space where it can and now that most, if not all locations are carrying a few grocer and everyday items as well it's kind of a one stop shop depending on what you Beverages & More needs are. Grab some craft beer, frozen pizza, ice cream and a new toothbrush as well as toothpaste for after. Or take advantage of the forever 5 cent deals (buy one get on for a nickel) along with some school supplies, board games or frozen veggies in the freezer... Definitely living up to the & More name. The parking for BevMo West Hollywood is shared with neighboring businesses like Target, but also street parking while metered (free on Sundays) is a super easy find and a nice short stroll. The person who rang us up also offered to assist us on the floor and was one of the best clerks I've had here. Didn't keep my receipt, but would love to give the tall gingerish gentleman some customer appreciation love.

Sorry for a negative update... But the experience & quality of this store seems to have declined further :(( After my last couple of unpleasant visits, I decided to give this store another try, -- and stopped by to purchase a couple of items. But alas, this was probably my last visit. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. In addition to the issues mentioned previously, there were now additional problems. For starters, some isles were cluttered with empty boxes, and other stuff... (does anybody even care? What if someone stumbles, trips, and falls due to your mess & clutter?) -- The attached photos clearly depict the mess! On top of that, they now have a new totalitarian rule -- of requiring *everyone* to present an I.D., regardless of age. Seriously ?!... When a person is in his/her middle-age or senior age... I am curious - why are they still required to show an ID? -- The store is yet to provide reasonable answer. (Sorry, a response like "A 70 year-old man can look like he is 18" is not quite reasonable!!). Also, please realize: excessive & unnecessary capturing and entering of personal ID information into your system -- is a serious violation of consumer privacy... Sorry, but I've had enough with this degraded store! Unless they plan to change their absurd and excessive "I.D. Policies", and improve the in-store environment (along with other issues described in the earlier review), it is highly unlikely that I would return to BevMo anytime soon. For now, So long! P.S. To the store management: Please accept customer reviews as constructive criticism; sadly, too many 1-star reviews now appear.

Horrible store. I ordered a bottle of E.H. Tayor Single Barrel online and it was cancelled. At first I thought, "hey no big someone probably beat me to it" and the system hadn't refreshed yet. But it's been saying that the item has still been in stock for two weeks and every time I try it gets cancelled. I'm pretty sure that the workers are saving it for themselves. Finally got a bottle from bevmo West Covina and Rancho Cucamonga no problem and after all the bottles were sold their inventory updated to being out of stock within the same day

I purchased a $320 bottle of Dom Perignon for a wedding gift at this location, and the associate assured me no box was included with the bottle. After purchasing at full retail price, I discovered a box was indeed meant to be included with this bottle as part of the purchase. I spoke to the manager, and he began yelling at me over the phone, asserting that he had a legal degree, and that I was not entitled to the box because I agreed to buy the bottle without a box. He refused to provide a box or a refund. I have reached out to Bev customer support for resolution, and received no response.

This bevmo is awesome! Such great service. Brianna the manager was super sweet and kind right as I walked in. Rusty was the first person I saw as I walked in and he immediately became my bff! SUPER HELPFUL. Helped me load and unload all the merchandise into my car. Such great service! Will be returning over and over because of such great costumer service.

Horrible service thru Gopuff. Back room workers are inattentive and unhelpful. My order was ready for pick up at BevMo at 11:15 but I didn't actually get it until 11:50, mainly due poor operations and organization. Talked to 3 associates and they just were running around. Eventually one nice one asked for my name and saw my pickup was on the shelf. Wasted 45 minutes. Get your stuff together

DO NOT ORDER FROM OR SUPPORT THIS LOCATION. I've had 2 orders of wine in as many weeks that I placed on the BevMo! app where half of my bottles of wine were missing. This wasn't in either case a problem with inventory. In both cases, their app specified that they had over 20 of these bottles in stock AFTER I placed my order. I've had multiple delivery people warn be about this location for the past few months that they've had problems with them before. While I've only had a problem twice, it's clear that many other customers have had problems, as well. Tonight, my delivery person (from Shipt, which is a separate company from BevMo!, but which BevMo! uses for their deliveries) went back to the store, put the manager on with me on his phone, and when I told the manager he had 25 bottles of the wine I ordered still in stock according to their app, he shoved the phone back in my delivery person's hands, shut the door to the store, and locked it - while I was still on the phone. I highly suspect that the manager(s) of this store are either deliberately withholding peoples' online orders in order to retain both their profits AND inventory. Or, perhaps, they're simply highly incompetent. Either way, I look forward to my phone call with the BevMo! corporate offices tomorrow. Because you can try and mess around with me. But now they're bullying the delivery people, too. February 6th, 2022 at 7:00 PM was when the incident occurred. To the manager working there at that time: You're either deliberately or accidentally incompetent. Either way, you've wasted so much of my time and the time of my delivery person - who has agreed to corroborate exactly everything that went on - that I am going to waste SO much of yours. Call with corporate tomorrow! Thanks, BevMo! West Hollywood for absolutely nothing! While I can email customerservice@bevmo.com - as many other replies here to negative reviews have suggested - I'm going to make a much larger deal out of this.

I shop here often and recently I noticed that some of the beers in the cooler aren't being restocked and also noticed that the delivery service is being prioritized over onsite shoppers creating long waits at the register. Staff that are at the register are welcoming and quick to help if asked but still long waits at check out.,

Don't go to this place, they run Gopuff which is a scam. They drop things off the order and make you run around to get a credit on your next purchase? Do yourself a favor if you happened to have ordered from them and got a incomplete delivery, don't waste an hour of your time trying to get a refund, just dispute it on your credit card. My card has never failed in getting my money back from crooks like this company.

I had a few bottles in my hands and was looking for one more thing (another imported liquor) and the associate couldn't be bothered to show me where it was (and she wasn't doing anything). I put the bottles back and walked out - not worth wandering around forever when I can go elsewhere.

What the hell happened to this once great store?!?! Over the years I have spent some serious money on booze here. I haven't been in a while and decided to go in today and get some of the rarer whiskey, gin and tequilas that I like. It was like walking into a weird convenience store. Rows and rows of potato chips, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, laundry detergent etc. Then a few compacted / compressed rows of booze. The whole vibe of the store has changed. I actually had to ask someone if I was in a Bevmo! or was this some new store that had opened up. Never again. I spent zero there and won't be back. What a shame. Glad I got to experience it when it used to be great.

Honestly coming into this store for the first time was so disappointing I will never return. I came in looking for a recommendation on an Argentinian Malbec wine. I asked two different employees if they knew anything or had recommendations both said no and brushed me off one was extremely rude and condescending. No one can give me any help or recommendation so I ask about a popular one that I see no more on the shelf. If no one can help me this must be the one? So I go to a manager and I if there's any left in stock. Apparently there is but they can't locate the Elsa in the store. So then I ask the manager why none of her employees know anything about the product. I explain I am a worker myself but every industry I worked in I was taught to learn the product. She goes ahead to make a bunch of excuses for her staff and lets me know apparently although they are working at a corporate wine and liquor store that isn't their responsibility. Blows my mind but WHATEVER. Then she asks if she can help me and when I say I'm looking for Malbec from Argentina with a fruity taste she goes on to tell me Malbecs aren't Argentinan and then leads me to another section. I walked off frustrated knowing not much about wine but I do know there is Argentinan Malbec wines so BEVMO why are you even hiring managers that know nothing about the product? I literally walked next door to Target got my Malbec Argentinan wine and the staff there was less condescending and more educated. I get better experiences buying wine at gas stations. I will never go back. BevMo do better and start educating your staff

On at least three occasions, BevMo has charged more than the advertised, in-store price. Watch the screen as your beverages are being scanned, because if you notice after the transaction is complete, they may not be able to offer a refund.

I've always had a good experience at this store but this morning I walked in on the manager Julie yelling a homophobic rant about someone that had just stolen product from the store. I understand it's frustrating to have people steal your product but that doesn't make it okay to be homophobic specially in front of other customers. It made me uncomfortable and didn't feel welcomed at all.

I like the variety and convenience of shopping at BevMo but will be looking for an alternative. Over the past year, I've caught the staff at this store over-charging based on the in-store advertised price or not honoring coupons, even though they were clearly scanned. Each time there is no apology or explanation, and most importantly no change in behavior. Have to assume this is extreme negligence or being done on purpose. Solid because they carried the Sam Adams Octoberfest, both the big pack plus the Sweater Weather pack. (Yes, I'm a fall beer lover that Bill Burr would make fun of haha). Negative stars because of the cashier. There should be a rule to not allow cell phone play during a shift. Sure, we've all texted on the job at some point. But the guy was not leaving it alone. When I walked up to the line, he was still texting a good minute at least before acknowledging me. Then a poor older lady was looking for help. I guess there was nobody on the floor because she had to come over to the cashier to get assistance. She was actually interested in the high-end stuff. She asked about getting a fancy liquor. He just pointed and was like, "It's over there." She said she knew, but it was behind a locked case. He said, "Oh, someone has to unlock it." Then there was the longest awkward silence after. The lady was really polite and finally said, "Could someone please unlock it for me?" Only then did he find someone to help her. I felt bad for her that she had to hunt someone down and ask in 3 different ways to get her request. She should have been treated like a VIP.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I ordered last night and the order never came (charge still went through). I tried calling last night and no answer. No one ever got in touch with me. This morning, I received an email notifying me that I would receive the order (but the date/time on the order was for yesterday). I just called and the woman on the phone told me that she would schedule the order for 6-7pm tonight. And now I just got a text messaging notifying me that the order will arrive in 50 minutes. Horrible service! Will never use again!

I was trying to buy a 20-ounce bottle of Diet Dr Pepper, and was told there is a new company policy that requires scanning IDs for all purchases, including purchases of non-alcoholic beverages. I wasn't even carrying my wallet with me. I was just going to use Apple Pay. What an absurd policy. I don't even drink. I will definitely never be back.

Been here just a few times as a shop on store customer and a pick up order customer. Always fast and friendly customer service. Was recently helped by a very helpful and friendly shift manager named Martin Lopez. Of all the locations I have gone to over my time here in Los Angeles, this one is probably the best one. Highly recommended.

I ordered a handle of gin and some other stuff for delivery, they took the gin off of the order because they were out and didn't notify me. I would have cancelled the order or better for everyone, asked for a different kind of gin if I had been notified. Now I've paid for the delivery and don't have the one thing I actually wanted from the order. They were nice enough when I called about it, but doesn't solve my problem that I just paid for a delivery and am unsatisfied.

IF you want your alcohol on the same day you place your order, then right now it's better if you actual go to a liquor store (or grocery store) that is allowing you to walk in (or at least taking your order at the door). BevMo! is not set up adequately to handle processing online order fulfillment in a reasonable time frame...for those customers seeking alcohol in the same 24 hour period that it's ordered. As long as you're stocking up and your purchase is for use at a future date, I strongly recommend to shop somewhere else. The main thing that I am semi-frustrated with is that no where during the online ordering process does BevMo! inform you that the order fulfillment could take as long as or longer than 24 hours to process. However, the app will definitely charge your card immediately. I called to store after waiting over 5 hours, and the team member that I spoke to said that they are running at least a day behind. To be clear, I do not hold the local team members responsible for this...it's more of the responsibility of corporate or regional to ensure that they are able to handle the logistics and operations here. For those experiencing this as well, please refrain from yelling at the local team members who are actually doing their best to keep up with the demand. Instead post on here or other social media or even call corporate... Even then, let's keep in mind that we all are dealing with a very crazy world right now.

Had very bad encounters with a employee here, white guy with long ponytail, first he ask me if he can help me, than when I asked about couple of item, he patronized me about where it is, point me the way but not really point me the way, than after check out, he deliberately talk to another employee just so I can hear them, saying fucking instartcart, "why don't you just hand me the key , so I can deliver it for you"! My friend badly needed to use the Restroom. Jeremy's excuse for not giving us the key was that I was standing on top of customers when I was standing at the empty cash register next to Jeremy's cash register. I explained it was an emergency and he expressed no sympathy that my friend had a medical condition. We also felt discriminated because we were Asian and everyone was white. The white lady who asked for key after us was treated with more respect. Will not go back again until Jeremy is fired!! He needs to work somewhere where people are like him: racist and disrespectful to people with medical conditions.

I saw one of their employee passing by me and I said " excuse me " she first didnot stop so I had to say again " excuse me " she then looked me in the eye and checked me from the top to bottom like she was ready to fight me . I thought for a moment I asked a wrong person so I ask her do you work here ? She is like yeah what do you want with very angry tongue . I show her the pic on the phone she didnot even look at the pic she just said look the section with no name of the section she didnot even read the brand or anything . She just want to get rid of me as soon as possible . After she left my wife has even noticed that she was ready to fight me . She was African American women . I would suggest to the management to talk to her . I think she looks like she has some issues. you don talk to customers like that . Go rest or have a break but don be A douche bag.

I am a loyal Bevmo customer who was having some issues getting a large order in and was having to drive to all the locations around the Los Angeles/Weho/Hollywood area trying to get a ton of beverages and mixers for a party ***after 4th of July Holiday. Nobody was able to help at any of the locations and it was very frustrating having had Bevmo do many events for me the last 10 years or so...Probably even longer. I was finally back at where I started at the Weho location and two very helpful associates names Monet and Kristina finally helped me for a very long time and put the order together for me and got it all loaded into my car. An extreme amount of product to be pulled and discussions to be had and they were so kind and patient and even helped load up the truck when the 4 very large dollies were brought to the loading dock. Thank you again Monet and Kristina! (Also the manager on duty that day (who's name escapes me) was also kind enough to cover for them while they hooked me up and got all that I needed. This was all done on July 5th. Thank you again Weho Bevmo so much!

This is an awesome place to buy all kinds of alcohol, they have everything! and you can't beat their price! they have this 5 cent wine event, buy one get another one for only 5 cent, perfect for stocking up. We always buy favorite spirit or champagne here, they always have very good deals on popular spirits. we can also order online, and just go there to pick up, so convenient. save us so much more time! They also have caviar, cheese, smoked salmon, cured meat, chips, chocolates, and other things to go with alcohol. and all kinds of cups, its like one stop you can get everything you need for a party. They now have low calorie low sugar mixers, I have tried some, they are so tasty, great to go with Vodka or Tequila! I just love this place!

I came in to purchase some GlenDronach Scotch and, on the way out the door, the bottle fell out of the cardboard tube. Although this was a 12-year scotch, I aged two years watching the bottle hit the floor. Mario, who cashed me out, said not to worry since the container broke in the store. From there, he went to get another bottle for me. No grief, no questions... just some gentle consolation about the scotch that will never be had. Thank you, Mario!

Outstanding staff at this location. You can score some great deals if you're a member (free to sign up). Pro tip: If you're buying a cart full of beverages, pull your car up to the parking area behind the store and save yourself multiple long trips.

What can I say? I love me some BevMo, but for some reason, the people who work here - who aren't as helpful as the other BevMo. They have almost everything that you can dream about - either on hand or that they can order, or send you to a different location. Beer, wine, hard liquor, mixers, snacks, pretty much everything that you need for a party! ;) Plenty of parking at this location, but can be frustrating because it's an underground structure - where if you go down one more floor, there's plenty of parking OR parking a little further away from the escalator/elevator. Shares a lot with Best Buy and Target. Don't forget to get validated, one hour free, $1.50 for the next hour.

This store is pretty good. I come to this one the most, they always have the liquor Im looking for. Although lately they've added a grocery store, but it's very expensive when Target is right next door. You can pick up snacks but I would not suggest buying your dinner ingredents out of here. I like that I can come here and get out quick, but I always get an uncomfortable feeling from the cashiers. They're never waiting at the register for customers, you have to put your stuff there and wait for them to appear. Usually they're okay but I can tell through their aura that they don't really want to help but it's their job. But like I say they'll get me out of there fast so the awkward moment doesn't have to last too long.

Love this location. Parking is always close by (you can park in the Target / West Hollywood Gateway lot or on the street with meter parking). Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Have never had a problem here and always manage to find something that is enjoyable to drive. Whether its beer, wine or whatever. It isn't super cheap, but meh, it's my closest location and its HUGE.

Poor customer service and never received the "2 hour" delivery; placed an online order, driver called but never showed. Called the store and was put on hold until I called back again to ask for a manager and the clerk told me he was "probably busy". Finally got the manager on the phone who was not helpful and told me that the delivery service is with a third party so he can't help me and he cannot assist with a refund. He then hung up on me when I asked how often deliveries do not make it to their destination. Guess I got my answer. I would not waste your time or money.

We just stopped in for a few quick things and upon entering encountered a sales clerk named Dereck. He was able to quickly point us in the right direction to what we needed. When we checked out, he couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. He gave us a heads up on current promotions and was so friendly. Wonderful experience all around. Will absolutely be back!

Placed an order for delivery and waited 5 hours after the stated time only to receive nothing. Tried calling a couple of times but the person answering refused to look up the details of my order. After a few times of calling the phone line then became completely dead. Will never use this company again. Completely useless, dishonest and a waste of time.
