Brunch was amazing!!!! The French toast is delicious! It’s sweet, but not too sweet which is perfect! The fried chicken and biscuits is equally delicious, I ordered it with scrambled eggs instead. These photos show half size plates. The Big Pear Hug was very yummy and a nice frozen drink on a hot day! The patio was breezy and relaxing with overall great waiter service! Check out Bev’s for great service and amazing food!

Google
Absolutely lovely restaurant. Not sure why they have sucha low reviews. I loved everything we ordered. We only ordered appetizers, and each single one worth a try. Very friendly staff. Outside sitting. And absolutely gorgeous design. Thank you for a great experience. Definitely we’ll be back 😌

Google
It was my first visit and I was meeting someone who had been several times and suggested we meet for lunch here. The decor is very nice, bathroom was clean and our waiter was attentive and friendly. We both ordered the Bev burger and fries. We both enjoyed the burger and the fries. I loved that the fries were crispy and the potato strings on the burger were an extra touch to the burger. I would definitely go back to try a drink and maybe the brunch menu.

Google
The food was great, and the service was excellent! Bev’s burger is amazing. However, the truffle fries smelled like fish I assume they’re cooked in the same oil as the shrimps. The salad is good and tasty, but in my opinion, it needs more olive oil or some dressing. Similarly, the lobster bao is tasty, but it had a lot of oil.

Google
It’s more of a 3.5 ⭐️ The decor is on point. I loved the color of the walls and the Christmas decor. Our server was very nice and gave us all the best recommendations on the menu. I got the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were huge, but still had the tails on them. The flavor of the grits, sauce, and other fixings had a subtle spice that I liked. Presentation of all the food was on point.

Google
Had a late lunch date at Bev's today and it did NOT disappoint! The inside is super cute and inviting. We each had a delicious and well balanced cocktail. I had the Braised Chicken Gnocchi and I can say I haven't had better gnocchi anywhere else in the western suburbs. The texture and flavor was to die for without being heavy. My husband had the Garlicky Casear salad. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy and the inside, the croutons had fantastic flavor and it was a perfect lunch size. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We can't wait to go back.

Google
I loved everything about Bev's - most importantly the food was incredible and inventive. Our server made several spot on recommendations and was the right amount of present at the table. The music/space wasn't too loud, so it was easy to converse without shouting. The women's restroom was clean. I'll definitely be coming back to Bev's and recommending it wholeheartedly.

Google
Bev’s… Dined in on holiday from Southern California with family and bev’s don’t disappoint. The muscles were very fresh and flavorful - VERY GOOD cream sauce!! 👌🏻👌🏻 The goat cheese at short rib tots were great and the perfect amount of to split with our group - HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE GOAT CHEESE AND SHORT RIB TOTS. The soup of the day was tomato bisque - highly recommended The steak sandwich was a home run as well !!

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch at Bevs in Naperville and was pleased with their yummy food, drinks, and calm atmosphere. Their avocado chicken sandwich was delicious and the fries were fresh. The ceasar sald was also fresh and a good staple. A very spacious restaurant with ample indoor seating, bar seating, and outdoor seating. They also have a room where you can hold events. This would be a great idea for a cute brunch or bridal event.

Yelp
I loveeee me some Bev's! Since opening a few years ago in Downtown Naperville, Bev's has been a favorite of mine for any meal of the day and especially for their amazing cocktail menu and variety. It was my first time going in for their Restaurant Week, and I was very pleased with the price ($38 for Prix-Fixe dinner). The spinach salad was light and fresh, the short rib was superrr tender and flavorful, and my friends vouched for the goat cheese balls as well! Service is great and staff are fun and helpful!

Yelp
Patio! This location used to be Jimmy's. It's right in the heart of downtown Naperville at the intersection of Washington and Chicago. Bev's has one of the best outdoor patios in all of Naperville. So, if it's a warm sunny day and you want to be outside, consider Bev's as the hot spot. The food is pretty good and of course they have drinks. We ordered the goat cheese balls appetizer and it was amazing.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place and it's so cute from the string lit patio to the modern vintage decor inside. I had the Days Gone Chai martini along with goat cheese balls and filet sliders. Literally to die for. They also have a great brunch on Sundays with a DJ :) The staff is all incredible as well. Service was always fast and friendly.

Yelp
visited Bev's for Sunday brunch with a friend recently. Bev's website was very easy to manage and was designed in a beautiful and organized manner. However, while the restaurant and its decor are gorgeous, aesthetically pleasing, and bright, the food was at best mediocre. my friend and I ordered the smoked salmon toast, the grand marnier french toast, fresh fruit, and a side of crispy potatoes. the bread used for both the salmon toast and french toast was a baguette, which was difficult to eat due to the baguette being toasted and being cut on a slant, resulting in it being awkward to eat and having sharp-cut edges. there was a lack of seasoning in the toast the avocado was hard. The french toast also had this crispy bread and just seemed to lack something that would add more depth in the dish. on a positive note, the fruit was fresh and the potatoes were done well. the service was also friendly, although not quick despite the restaurant having a relatively small amount of customers inside. My friend also asked for a side of ketchup along with the potatoes, which took about five minutes to arrive.

Yelp
This is a very nice and visually appealing restaurant. Both interior and exterior dining areas are beautiful. We sat outdoors and it was a lovely experience dining with our 15 mo old. The appetizer that we got was delicious and creative. What knocks down a star, is that the menu is pretty small, and the burger we shared just wasn't good at all. It was way over salted, not a good balance of flavors and mostly salty and bland. The sweet potato fries however, so so good. Would be willing to give it a try again (potential in the food) but just wish there was a better main entrees.

Yelp
What a gem, this restaurant has a delightful interior. Food is delicious and service was so phenomenal. Great spot for lunch or brunch. I had shrimp tacos and fries, both were fab. Atmosphere was not loud and we had a lovely brunch. Parking in the ramp across the street is free. Highly recommend this restaurant. They take reservations and many folks were enjoying post-half marathon meals while we were there.

Yelp
Food was oversalty by far! Not my fav dinner spot. Drinks weak but imaginative. Pretty restaurant where Jimmy's used to be. I miss Jimmy's!

Yelp
I love the food at Bev's. Executive Chef Nadia makes innovative, creative and delicious food. The food is definitely 5 stars. Angie was our server, engaging and sweet. We sat in the dining room, and there also is an outside patio and bar area. This is not my 1st time as a patron, we love brunch here as well. On this visit, the service was dreadfully slow from receiving our cocktails to the food service. Even receiving our check warranted me getting up from our table to find our server to request the bill. I never experienced this lack of attention before at Bev's. We were the only table in the dining room for three-quarters of our time there. The patio was not full to capacity either. Off night? Last night our party of four shared the goat cheese balls and the lobster bao. The goat cheese balls were the perfect crispy bite with a creamy cheese filling. The lobster bao was ridiculously delish. The poached lobster on that little steamed bun...amazing! There was a little confusion, tho, when I asked for another bao so each of us could get a bun since there were only three on the plate. Usually, restaurants will up the items on a plate for an additional charge to give each diner a portion. Unfortunately, we were told the lobster couldn't be split so we paid $22 for another full lobster bao plate when it was brought to the table instead of one piece. I don't get that. The four of us had the monthly special, the grilled flat iron steak. The steaks were all cooked medium rare as requested. I enjoyed the steak flavor, the chimichurri sauce and the potato croquette. Very good! My friend's steak wasn't warm, tho, so he wasn't happy. He should've sent it back, but service was slow so... We also ordered the roasted carrots side dish, perfectly roasted and sweet. I wish I didn't share that dish. Yum. Like I said, the food and Chef Nadia are definitely 5 stars. Our experience this time was subpar as far as service and attention, especially since we were the only table in the dining room section most of the time. Our friends said they won't be back. Not just because of service, but the bar wasn't able to make my friend's requested cocktail. I felt bad becauseI was excited to introduce them to Nadia's cooking. I've followed Nadia for years craving her food. The moral here is a service really does impact the dining experience.

Yelp
Bev's is excellent. We had a rather large party and we're taking care of with excellent service. The food was great. The lamb was the star but chicken vesuvio and pasta dishes did not disappoint either. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Desserts were also really good but are giant. You want to share these. Despite being open during construction the atmosphere was great and I'd definitely come back again. Even the kids menu pizza was excellent!

Yelp
Really cute spot with plenty of outdoor seating and an interesting menu. Portion sizes are perfect and the service is so friendly. Though I hear this place might turn into something else soon? Hopefully everything else stays just the same, just give us a bigger menu! Enjoyed the perfectly loaded avocado chicken sandwich and deliciously seasoned fries. The cocktail list made me cackle and of course I had to order the Sweet Therapy drink. Not bad! Not too sweet, more on the slushy side which is great for a hot day in August. Even got the banana crème brûlée to-go, I was just so taken by this menu! That one was creamy, decorated beautifully and you couldn't miss the banana! Have a feeling the chef had fun being creative with this place. Cheers to whatever comes next in this area!

Yelp
Agree with previous reviewers...needs a deep clean. Food and drinks were just meh. Disappointing since the place looks so cute from the outside.

Yelp
Stopped In here on Sunday morning for some food and a drink or two. We didn't even get into the door yet and you can hear ridiculously loud music from outside. We walk in and there is a DJ in the corner playing trap music to an empty room in Naperville of all places....(maybe one table in there at 11am). We decided to stay and sit at the bar but couldn't even hear each other talk. I'm 28; I'm not old by any means. I like to have fun and go out etc...I've been in the restaurant industry in the city of Chicago for 10 years and the level of volume was absolutely uncalled for especially for an empty place on a Sunday morning. All while the music is blaring loud there is a man behind the bar and walking around (assuming it was the manager; but that would be an overstatement to call him that). He kept weirdly dancing around the entire bar and restaurant. I had second hand embarrassment for sure and I know people on his staff did as well. He was also walking around eating a sandwich while he does ridiculous dance moves, tending bar and, making peoples drinks....really? Everything I've learned in this industry was not even a thing at bevs. Zero standards or management and I have no clue how their other staff works there with the volume and the type of leadership they have in place. The steak sandwich was actually good but the small portion of fries were cold. The short rib Benedict was pretty good and a generous portion of short rib. The woman tending bar was very nice; other than that this place is a train wreck. The "manager" was more focused on partying and making sure the music was as loud as possible than actually running a business. This place won't last. Will not spend another dime here.

Yelp
Went twice this week. Once with a friend and softer with my husband. We haven't been downtown in a while so I was pleasantly surprised to see this replacing Jimmy's. Beautiful decor and amazing food. Had the ceviche and goat cheese balls. Both very delicious. I had the ceasar salad with salmon and the steak salad on my second visit. My friend had the Faroe salmon and husband had the cheeseburger. We had the blurred limes drink that is a blended mojito. Yum! Yes it's pricey but I think it is worth it.

Yelp
Great outdoor summer spot! Inside is nice too, but they have a large patio seating area and a great location. Lots of nearby parking. The food was great, they handled a party if 6 for brunch well (not crowded on a Sunday morning), and I'd recommend it. Loved the decor inside! The floral wallpaper was actually really modern-looking and festive with twinkle lights overhead.
google avatar

Alison C.

Yelp
I really want to love Bev's. The location is perfect, for summer they have a nice outdoor patio, the ambiance is cozy and welcoming. The drinks are overpriced for what they are in my opinion. For instance, the Days gone chai is $15 and a pre-mixed drink. My favorite thing I've gotten on their food menu is the lobster bao--which I quite enjoyed. However it is $22 for three small pieces. Overpriced again in my opinion--so I'll be sure to keep this as a date spot so I don't need to deal with that. Service has been good.

Angelina F.

Yelp
Love their outdoor seating. The server and busboy were great and friendly. Their carrot cake was so delicious. I had their Big pear hug for a cocktail it was great for a nice sunny day on their patio.

Bea W.

Yelp
Parking-close lot across the street Service-no one over 25yrs old but they were nice and trying-you do have to ask for salt and drink refills 2-3x before you get it. Ambience-they tried but the place looks worn and could use a deep clean! The floors are worn, paint is peeling and chipped-bathroom door w paint worn off,etc Food-pass on short rib crochettes-mushy inside w fried exterior. Shrimp tacos were good. Chicken sandwich good- neither stellar but good. Best thing about Bev's is the location- right on the corner with outdoor seating.

Yelp
Have you ever been cloud nined by a salad?? That's how I would describe their Chicken Pecan salad. I know, it's a salad! The flavors were so carefully balanced and thought out with a pleasing array of but not too much of vinegar/citrus, sweetness from pecan and goat cheese, the chicken just right and not overly "chicken-y." This was paired with their Italian Soda "Mocktail" with a shot of gin as suggested by our server. Speaking of the service, we came on sleepy Tuesday evening right after New Years and the two ladies running the place that night were super friendly and made us feel like a Tuesday can be a special occasion. The remodel from the Jimmy's 50s biker feel, has shifted the same space and layout to modern and beautiful that is both sheik, yet approachable. While the style in the main dining area leans more toward the feminine side, the decor shifts seamlessly to being a bit more masculine on the bar side in the subtlest way. I loved the attention to detail in every aspect like the wallpaper in the ladies room. All in all, I'm reminded of a restaurant I visited in Santa Barbara (circa 2011??). This place is perfect for an Girl's Night Out, but I was in town for a Mother-Son staycation and my son and I felt like we had a good time. I see that they have weekend brunch and the food looks great, would love to try it sometime. The main menu is a tad small, they could probably expand it a bit. But the flavors I experienced on the few things we had were lovely!
google avatar

Gloria D.

Yelp
I love this place! The food and drinks are delicious! My husband and I have been here a few times and we are always satisfied with the serve and food. I am a big fan of their chilaquilles during their brunch hours. Last night we went out for drinks with a friend. I ordered the frozen cosmo which was great and strong!

Beth W.

Yelp
I got the brunch Chicken biscuits and poached eggs. So delicious. Enough for two people. My husband got the French toast. He said it was amazing. He got a side of potatoes. He loved them. We would recommend Bevs's for amazing food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Finished our meal with carrot cake. It's to die for AMAZING!!!

Joan C.

Yelp
The decor and mid-century vibe as well as the website are great. The food was good/fine. The service left a lot to be desired. The server we had at the bar, just did not seem to care. We were not greeted but handed a 3-page drink menu and were asked if we knew what we wanted already. We had to ask for a food menu and fortunately another server helped to clarify food items while we ordered. Maybe she was a manager. Overall, the staff just seemed to wait around and just not proactive. We were disappointed. We regretted not leaving after having a drink. All our other downtown Naperville experiences were exceptional.
google avatar

Jhenevie O.

Yelp
Bev's is a new addition to Downtown Naperville and it is a very beautiful and aesthetic restaurant. Upon walking in you're met with gorgeous blue walls paired with greenery hanging from the ceiling. We came here solely for dessert as we already had reservations for another restaurant but had passed by Bev's on the walk there. The menu enticed us! For dessert, we ordered the Bananas Foster Creme Brulee ($10). I LOVED it. I love bananas foster and I love creme brulee. Put them together and now you have one of the best desserts ever. Service was good. I don't have much else to say as we only ordered dessert but safe to say we will be back to try more!
google avatar

Latese H.

Yelp
This is a downtown Naperville gem! I've come here for both happy hour and dinner and the service is phenomenal. My favorite item on the menu is a side, the Patatas Bravas, you will not be disappointed! I also enjoyed the Fancy mussels, this dish is unique because it's in an Alfredo-like sauce very flavorful. My only call out is the menu is kind of small, with not a ton of options, so this may not be the best place for picky eaters. The restaurant is a little on the smaller side inside but the outdoor patio makes up for it. Also great for people-watching if you're into that kinda thing lol. Last the drinks as tasty and pack a punch! This has been added to my favorite places in Naperville list.

Yelp
I absolutely love Bev's. The decor is so cute and the staff is always beyond friendly. Highly recommend the avocado chicken sandwich!

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend went here for lunch one day. The staff is super friendly and great, it was a 90 degree day outside and it was definitely warm inside the restaurant as well. Their Beat It, Squirt frozen Paloma was delicious and I definitely recommend to anyone. We got the Parm Bombs appetizer and it was so good! This appetizer is essentially a ball of cheese wrapped in a biscuit pastry with garlic butter drizzled. This is absolutely delicious and is essentially a gooey parmesan surrounded by flaky biscuit. Their fries are also really delicious, perfectly crispy! For my entrée I ordered their gnocchi. It was a rustic take on it and it was honestly so good! I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms personally and do feel like this dish had more mushrooms than needed in it, however it was still super delicious and definitely worth reordering in the future. By the look of the gnocchi and the chicken it seems like they have a scratch kitchen. Small Update: it looks like they changed their menu since I was there a few weeks ago and that's honestly disappointing. I was really looking forward to having the gnocchi again and wanted to go there for lunch today but looking at their menu nothing catches my attention and now the menu is majority seafood which means my boyfriend can't eat here now unless he wants a burger which isn't exactly the most enticing option at all times. Really wish they hadn't changed their menu completely and had maybe just expanded it. Don't think I'll be returning here anytime soon for any reason sadly.

Yelp
Recently tried this sorta new spot in downtown Naperville! The shrimp & grits had beautiful plating and actually really spicy which I loved! It was more than enough food & delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was gorgeous, you can tell they put a lot into the decor and vibe of the restaurant. It wasn't nice enough to sit on the patio yet but will definitely be back to do that! We had the brunch items and plenty of drinks. The brunch was a little pricey but very similar to the prices you would get in Chicago. It was definitely feeling like we were in Chicago! The days gone chai is their version of an espresso martini and I HIGHLYYYYY RECOMMEND!!!! The French toast wasn't your typical French toast but definitely good to try something different.
google avatar

Yelp
Dynamite dining in Naperville! Bev's is a new pop up that replaced jimmy's bar & grill. It is beautiful inside, major chicago vibes with really, really good food! Great service as well. We throughly enjoyed every item. Perfect for date night, drinks with friends and family. I'm excited to try their brunch menu.
google avatar

Yelp
I came to Bev's with my husband and 4 year old son for lunch one day. I was curious about the changes happening inside Jimmy's so we decided to check it out! The inside is beautifully updated and definitely more upscale than Jimmy's previously was. I love the vibe and all of the decor. Their lunch menu is small, but that doesn't bother me. I prefer a restaurant to offer a handful of things that they do really well as opposed to a ginormous menu of options that are just okay. My mouth was watering at first glance of the menu, but then I got concerned there wouldn't be anything for my little guy to eat! My husband and I contemplated heading somewhere else for lunch and coming back another time without kids, but our server then informed us they do have a handful of kid-friendly options, they just don't have a physical menu displaying this. Maybe something to create for the occasional family that comes in, especially during the day? We started with the parm bombs ($12) which even my son enjoyed. This small plate came with 6 bombs that were flakey, tasty, filled with Parmesan, and covered in melted herbed butter. Yum! For my main dish I went with the chicken pecan salad which included goat cheese, apples, bacon, baby spinach, and pecan vinaigrette. It was very good (and pretty keto friendly), but not sure it was worth $18... My son had a grilled cheese with french fries and there were no complaints there! He gobbled it up. I believe my husband had a burger which he said was good, but truthfully Jackson Ave down the street takes the prize for a better burger. Our server was super friendly and helpful. I would love to come back sometime for dinner and drinks. Based on Bev's upscale nature I truly can't see us coming here often, but maybe the occasional date night. I'm intrigued by how this pop up is going to transfer into Cali's eventually. I wonder why they just didn't do a phase one of Cali's as opposed to creating Bev's first? Seems a little confusing, but I guess they're the experts.

Yelp
Food was excellent as always with polite service. Disappointing wine pour and other patrons had noticeably fuller glasses. We sat outside and it was very pleasant.
google avatar

Yelp
First time trying this place since it recently just opened. The decor inside is very relaxing and overall setup is cute. Good for intimate setting, business even large groups. The menu is fairly small one page. Food was ok, to start we tried the ceviche and was sort of bland. When I think of ceviche I think of it being juicy and full or flavor and it wasn't what I had expected. The chicken on my salad was burnt but the burger was good with the truffle fries. I think for a $26 dollar salad the portion shouldn't be so small seems like a rip off to me. Service was good though!

Yelp
A new pop up restaurant located in the space of former Jimmy's Grill in downtown Naperville, the space has had a delightful update! They just opened on Friday, January 21st and we are here on night two, sitting at the bar. Wonderful service. Excellent, hand crafted cocktails. Delicious appetizers and entrees. The menu is small but mighty. Get the Short Rib Tots...they come in a trio that you will not regret! HIGHLY recommend. We will be back and continue to return for as long as we can, until it transforms into its ultimate goal of Cali's, another restaurant from The Empire Restaurant Group.

Mike A.

Yelp
This place needs serious help. The staff is completely disengaged and it starts with the manager on duty. We went on a Sunday afternoon. The place was dead for brunch. After seeing how the staff was not attentive and unprofessional, we realized why this prime downtown Naperville spot was not busy. The manager made no effort to actually manage the staff. Instead he spent most of his time seated at the bar watching football on his computer. The place looks like crap. Completely worn down and the bar smelled like a dive bar. The one bright side was the food. We had two menu items and both were very good. Though the food was good, I see no reason to go back. Eating out is a lot more expensive now, if I'm going out it's going to be a place that cares a little.
google avatar

Charlene N.

Yelp
Ambiance is very nice. They gave us the wrong drinks after waiting for 20 min. Excuse, all bartenders went back to college. We were there at 430 on a Saturday with reservations. The salads took a half hour. They were good. For the amount of money my salmon and my husband's Chilean sea bass, it would have been more than 4 oz. I did get three Tiny pieces of asparagus to go along with my tiny salmon. The problem was it was on an extra large white dish. We won't be back. I'm so disappointed. I really liked it at lunch a year ago.

Lauren M.

Yelp
Jackson A is the worst waiter I have ever encountered!!! Attacked a group of six women because one of us went to go ask someone for our check after our server neglected us. He proceeds to come up to our table and yell and argue with my friend saying "do you have a problem with me" and "well you've been giving me attitude since the moment you sat down here" just for asking for our check. Obviously some serious masculinity issues were demonstrated and thought yelling at a group of young women would make him feel better about himself.

Yelp
They get one star for aesthetics and live music. It is a very relaxing atmosphere on their patio on a summer evening. Another star for pretty good service. The hostesses and server were relatively attentive. The food was not good and I felt scammed at the end of my meal after considering the price points. My sons and I got the burger and it was the SALTIEST burger I have ever had. After reading some reviews on here, I realize I am not the only one that feels that way. It was also dripping in grease. So much so that my lettuce and bread were soggy. Additionally, for the price, I should be able to swap out American Cheese for cheddar but: "SoRry we DoNt hAve CheDDaR cHEeSe, OnLy AmEriCaN". C'mon even TGIFridays will let you substitute the cheese on a burger.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our experience at Bevs. We sat on the patio during a warm summer evening. The servers were very nice and the food was great. Loved the short rib tots. I ordered the shrimp and grits. A nice amount of spice to go along with the creamy grits. The presentation was amazing. My wife ordered the chicken pecan salad. It was huge and really well done. Overall a great night.

Yelp
Very happy with the food and service at Bev's, My Fiancé and I visited on a Saturday evening and the food was amazing as well as the drinks. The Manager Alyson knows our order by heart and personally makes the best old fashion I've ever had. Highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits and the burger but add duck fat onions. Thank you guys for being a reliable place for us to go in Downtown Naperville! Keep up the good work!

Yelp
Their outdoor settings is what caught my attention. Great environment with some good drinks maybe next time i will try some food but the drink was good

Yelp
Great ice cream! Really cute little spot. This place seems like it's always busy. I think anything you try is going to be great.

Yelp
I was not sure what to expect as I know this is a pop-up restaurant and could be gone. Regardless, being locals, and regulars to the Jimmy's establishment that used to reside in this location, we had to try it! I will say the quality of the food exceeded our expectations. Only the best and freshest ingredients were used. We ordered the goat cheese balls and swooned. It was then that we knew to be excited for our entrees. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the steak sandwich. We both enjoyed both entrees to the fullest. For two people who walked in unsure, we walked out knowing we wanted to return. Also, we sat on the patio in the heart of downtown Naperville. It does not get any better than that. Service was excellent. The prices are on the higher end, but I will say quality did justify the prices.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant! I would definitely recommend to anyone that needs a break during a day in downtown Naperville! The food menu is a little limited but what they do serve is really good! I got the burger and although it took a while to come out, the wait was well worth it! Service is fantastic too!

Yelp
Used to go to this place when it was Washington Square. Not a bad place and very nice but just felt slightly oversold and for the cost expected slightly more. There is just so many great places in the area to choose from.

Yelp
My 14 year old picked Bev's on a whim following her 8th grade promotion. Our experience at previous establishments at this location have been favorable, particularly for the opportunity to dine outside on a beautiful day. As others mentioned, the remodel is done tastefully, and the ambience is nice. The luck menu is a bit small, but not off puttingly so. The price point is slightly off mark; it seems like the the intent is to create a slightly upscale restaurant, but the food does not quite reach this level. As others mention, they do offer some choices for children that are not featured on the menu. Thank goodness, since feeding my four year old a $20 chicken sandwich that she'll just push around the plate would have been disappointing. Serving sizes are odd. My teen selected the vegan ramen, and it could feed 3. My mother's chicken sandwich came with enough fries to feed four. I opted for the shrimp and grits, which was decent, but not reminiscent of the classic southern dish (grits are a bit runny and shrimp was a bit over cooked). Service is friendly, and responsive. The verdict- okay for enjoying a meal on the patio, but kind of unremarkable in food experience.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I was really excited to try their food and see what the place was about, but was a little disappointed. Specifically, the gnocchis were a strange consistency and I just wasn't a fan. I ordered a few different dishes to try and I only liked one of them, the parm balls. I also ordered a cocktail and it was so strong! I believe this place is more for the aesthetics than the food. Everything pictures well, but the food/drinks were a let down.

Yelp
Tried this place out because it looked cute and had a nice outdoor patio. Unfortunately there weren't enough open tables on a busy, warm Saturday so we sat in the bar and still had a nice breeze. Service was good. But the food, not good at all. The burger was overpriced and over seasoned. Ordered mine medium rare and it was basically raw ground beef with a crust. Way too many pickles as well. The side salad is basically 5 big, full romaine leaves in a vinaigrette. Too much work! My husband got the steak blt and fries. Way too much goat cheese, that was all you tasted. Should've been a goat cheese sandwich, forget the steak. And the fries. Super crispy but holy salt!! Waaaaay too much salt so that they weren't even edible. Cute atmosphere but bad food.
