An extremely peaceful and divine location nestled in the serene hills of McLeodganj. The temple’s calm surroundings and spiritual energy make it a truly soothing place for the mind and soul. Early morning is the best time to visit, when the atmosphere is tranquil, and the divine aura can be felt at its purest.

Bhagsunath Temple, himachal pradesh Temple, Shiva, How ...The history of Bhagsunath Temple involves a legend about a king and a snake god, with the current structure dating to the early 19th century. According to legend, King Bhagsu built the temple to seek forgiveness from the Snake God after stealing water from the sacred Nag Dal Lake, leading to a fierce battle. The temple complex includes the main temple, a pool, and is near the Bhagsunag Waterfall. Legend: The local legend states that the temple was built by a king named Bhagsu to atone for angering the Snake God after he stole water from the Nag Dal Lake. Temple construction: The original temple is believed to be very old, but the current structure was built in the early 19th century by the 1st Gurkha Rifles. Deities: The temple is dedicated to both Lord Shiva and the local deity Bhagsu Nag, the snake god. Complex: The complex is located near McLeod Ganj and includes a main temple, a series of pools where visitors and monks bathe, and is situated on the path to the Bhagsunag Waterfall.

Visited Bhagsunag Temple and it was a truly peaceful and divine experience. The natural spring flowing through the premises adds a refreshing touch, and the surrounding mountains make the atmosphere even more serene. The temple is well-maintained, and the energy of the place instantly calms the mind. Don't miss the nearby waterfall and sacred pool perfect spots to relax and soak in nature's beauty. A must-visit for anyone coming to McLeodganj!

Went there in October. Super chill and relaxed. Take your time, no need for tickets. Check out the view from the temple. Plus, there's a big pool with a fountain that runs all the time with fresh water. ⛲️🧘‍♀️ Temple views, water, October, relaxation. #Temple #Pool #Water #October #Views

A small Shiva temple on a hill, with small Shiva ling , with great story, that you can touch and offer prayers, poojari gives a prasad of rice puff. Nice views and a pool with natural water. Its on the way to Bhagsu waterfalls.
