My first impression of this restaurant was how nice and clean it is. There are outdoor seatings available too. Long parking lot since the restaurant is located along with other businesses. Nice vibe I get there. Staffs were friendly and attentive. The food may not be the best Thai food I have had, but definitely not bad. I wouldn’t mind returning. They are delicious! I came here with my husband and the menu already made us struggled because we want to try so many items. At the end, we settled with Tom Yum soup, which was tasty and with a good amt of ingredients, just right. A papaya salad that we thought could have serve cold. It wasn’t cold enough to us. The best about this papaya salad is the small sticky rice. It was very delicious. Compare to another restaurant that we tried, this papaya salad became alright to us. Could improve. A Pad Woon Sen where we thought the beef was a bit overcooked. It was a bit rough to us. The overall taste was good. And finally a Tropical Duck Curry. This one was yummy. The duck is slightly crispy on the outside and meaty inside. We wish the duck could be more tender then it will be a even better dish! But the curry sauce was perfect! Delicious! Overall, both my husband and I are satisfied with our dinner tonight.

Good food, but average service. We visited this place on Thursday for lunch around 1.30pm. There were 2 more customers only and it was not crowded at all. We wish our waitress was friendly. She didn’t greet us and didn’t check if there food was okay until we were done. They also rushed the order. We ordered appetizers, soup and entrees. They brought the appetizers and soup first but they brought the entrees when we were half way through. The entrees got little cold and there was not much place on the table. We felt that they rushed and made us leave early. The appetizers were okay, soup was great, the dragon noodles were awesome, Thai curries were too sweet. Overall, it is a great place with good food. The waitress and the cook were wearing masks and I felt this place is a safe place w.r.t to COVID.

Google
We loved the Mt Laurel Bhanthai and were super happy when they opened rhe Marlton one. But Marlton is so below the Mt Laurel. Food has always lacked the punch. Service is horrible, especially from a young male server with glasses. He was so rude to us and started cleaning our table even when we were eating. Dont waste your money at Marlton. Go to Mt. Laurel location instead.

Google
My wife and I had a great time! It's been a long time since I've been in a good Thai restaurant. The food was very good, and the ambulance was very nice. Portions were more than adequate and most people took home packages. We will definitely go there again!

Wonderful customer service, attentive and helpful. The food is fresh with authentic tastes. A great place to take a friend or a group to eat. The butternut squash soup is surprisingly very delicious.

Google
Absolutely perfect 1st time visit. Beautiful weather, very nice patio seating for my lunch. My server was helpful and the food was amazing! Also, got an iced coffee to go. I am working in the area this week and I told them i will be back.

Google
Absolutely wonderful! I went with my mom, who is strictly gluten-free (GF) and my 6 y/o, and they had so many delicious options. I got the Thai noodle soup with beef and she got the chicken pad Thai. Everything was so good! 6 y/o loved both the chicken and beef, as well as the rice noodles. The service was excellent! Highly recommend them!

Yelp
I've stopped by the Mt. Laurel location a few times and figured I'd try this one! I also enjoy visiting this restaurant! The owners are super accommodating and the food is always flavorfully and satisfying! Can't wait to return!

Yelp
We rolled in at about 2:30pm on a Saturday and the wait staff mentioned they closed at 3:00 for lunch. No problem. We ordered veggie spring rolls, crab Rangoon, Penang curry chicken and beef phat se ew. We also received two complimentary side salads with ginger dressing. Each dish was beautifully presented and the flavors were on point. Hard to decide which was the stand out between the two entrees the panga curry sauce was perfection - velvety and flavorful with the hints of kaffir lime leaf and nutty finish. All of it was fantastic. Top it all off with some great and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
One if not the best Thai food I've ever had. Normally I believe Thai restaurants are overpriced and not worth it, but this place changed my mind. The food was flavorful and most important spicy just how I ordered. The lunch special was reasonably price and filling. The Thai iced coffee was refreshing and perfectly sweet. The service is friendly and quick, and the ambiance is bright and clean. If I'm ever back in town, this place is definitely on my to-eat list!
google avatar

Anita A.

Yelp
Both papaya salad and pad Thai are on the sweet side, even though we have asked for more spicy on the salad. The sausage is a bit spicy which is good. Good service, nothing to complain about. Will visit again.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant was absolutely delightful. I got my usual which is tom yum soup and drunken noodles. I got mild because I'm not amazing with spice but this was just perfectly made. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and highly recommend this place for great food at a good price!

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant three times. Quality is hit or miss. I always get the green curry with chicken. The first time the rice was very dried out but the curried meat was very yummy and came with a bit of eggplant. The next time, the rice was perfect but the curried meat tasted like warm up chicken.. The last visit the rice and curried meat were good but there was a laughable tiny quantity of eggplant. Usually there isn't much-a couple of small pieces. However. This time it was no more than a teaspoon of eggplant. Tiny tiny pieces. I was quite disappointed. Moreover, they got my order wrong and I had to wait while the redid the dish. Prices and Ambiance are right...they just need a little more attention to the food and service.

Yelp
South Jersey area has quite a few Thai restaurants, so it can be hard for a single one to stand out. I've tried a good number of them, and Baan Thai has become a go-to for me. I've tried both the Mount Laurel and Marlton locations; I've also dined on and gotten takeout from Bhan Thai. Both locations are very clean with a nice low-key ambiance. The service and quality have been consistent during all of my visits. This place also offers a good variety of entrees on their menu for meat and non-meat eaters alike. Their mock duck "meat option" is a great substitute for those who also don't enjoy seafood. I've taken several people with varying preferences here, and everyone has enjoyed it. Some of my favorite entrees are the Red Curry with Sticky Rice instead of White Rice, Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles), and the Sticky Rice with Mango dessert. Bhan Thai also distinguished itself but providing great takeout quality. Many restaurants fail to keep consistent quality with their takeout options. My takeout experience here was very high-quality, maybe even better than my dine-in experience (important to note both are still great.) Overall, Bhan Thai provides a solid dining experience. It's reliable for a variety of consistent and good quality options. It's one of my top Thai recommendations in the South Jersey area and somewhere I'll continue to dine.

Yelp
Been a regular at Bhan Thai Mount Laurel for years so decided to try Marlton 7/30/24. Got Pad Kee Mao Tilapia, Pad See Ew Beef, Chicken Pad Cashewnut, Chicken Satay, Spring Rolls, Shrimp Fresh Summer Rolls, Sticky Rice with Mango, Fried Honey Banana, and Fried Ice Cream. Noodles in Pad Kee Mao and Pad See Ew were completely undercooked. To the point where they were somewhat hard and chewy. They were not soft at all and no flavors were cooked into them. There really wasn't a lot of flavor in the Pad Kee Mao and as mentioned above, the noodles were undercooked. So any flavor that the chef tried to include just fell of the noodles. Level 3 spice was requested and there was almost no spice. The Pad See Ew had hardly any Chinese broccoli. The standard broccoli that was in the dish was overcooked and soft. Don't know how this could even happen when the noodles were completely undercooked. Whoever cut the beef in the Pad See Ew did not do a good job. There were huge chunks of beef almost the size of the palm of my hand. It was tough and no flavor was cooked into them. Level 3 spice was requested and there was no spice at all. The Pad Cashewnut was ok. Was way too soupy. All the other dishes were ok. Long story short, the chefs in the Mount Laurel location are so much better than the ones in Marlton, so I will not be returning. I'll be sticking with Mount Laurel.

Yelp
A great addition to the strip mall. I came in on a Friday night and it was lively but not too packed. We ordered the curry puffs as a starter. It was okay, it lacked flavor which was a little disappointing. For entrees we ordered tofu drunken noodles and chicken pad thai and asked both to be 3/5 spicy. Both were delicious and there was a generous amount of tofu in the drunken noodles. We did ask for hot sauce and we got a few siracha packets which was nice. Restaurant is byob which is a plus!

Yelp
We love to order takeout or doordash from this place. The spring roll sre the best, so fresh and not hard. We have also tried the fried rice and pad thai which are really good too. The place is located in a plaza next to a great nail salon and gym
google avatar

Yelp
Really loved our meals at this restaurant. We went in for a lunch time option and thoroughly were impressed. We enjoyed the spring rolls as a starter and then split the green curry and pad Thai. The servings were large and overall great quality and taste for the price! The food was very quick and the staff were very attentive and friendly!

Cheryl M.

Yelp
Do NOT order takeout! Drunken noodles & pad Thai lacked the proper amount of sauce. Mango @ sticky rice was spoiled - had to throw away.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Friendly staff. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable. I had the Green Curry (I requested Mild) with Tofu, and my husband had the Pad Khing. Both were tasty and fresh. We would definitely go again. Great lunch date for us!

Yelp
Personal opinion but this is my favorite Thai place is the cherry hill/marlton area. I'm glad they added this 2nd location. The food is delicious, we always order the pad see ew, masaman curry, and a few other dishes. Service is always friendly and they prepare the food quickly.

Yelp
Checking out my new neighborhood and came across this Thai restaurant when I was getting my hair done next door. The restaurant is super cute with cute bamboo lamps. The server came out quickly to order my food and food came out very fast. I ordered the shrimp satay and the Thai Basil Chicken. Disclaimer, the shrimp satay was delicious but came out with the shell and tail on and the shell was hard to take off but the sauce on the shell was delicious. It came with a mint sauce that was tasty too. The Thai Basil chicken was also delicious - there was some part of my dish that was cold while the other parts were hot - not sure why. But the food was tasty. I wish I got to try other things like the pad Thai, but I will be back!

Yelp
I came here with some friends. It's a nice place with good food. Everything we ordered was delicious and came with a big portion. The only downside was the wait time and attentiveness of the wait staff. It took a while for anyone to take our order. Then there was a wait for the food and finally the bill. In between those times, no one checked on us. They did split the bill which was nice. P. S. The mango sticky rice dessert was good, but I prefer not having the rice colored. It doesn't look natural.

Yelp
Great curry, friendly and fast service. very clean and comfortable - one of our favorite places to dine.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Food was authentic, service was quick and friendly. Nice atmosphere.

Yelp
It offers a nice array of enjoyable food. The service was attentive, and my favorites were the chicken puff, beef salad, and papaya salad.

Yelp
Have had take out from here about ten times. ALWAYS super! Place is nice great cool shady outdoor patio for warmer weather. Very nice ambiance inside. The curries are superb. Vegetable Fried Rice a must!

Yelp
Only reviewing the place on the food because we did take out! Pictured is the nam tok, I had lowish expectations for this dish because I make it at home all the time. I have an aunt who was born in Thailand and taught me how to make a few Thai dishes. Nam tok doesn't have bell peppers or red onion. I'm guessing the restaurant replaced shallots with red onion which doesn't work in my opinion. We also tried the Drunken Noodles and the Pad Thai. The drunken noodles were the best out of the 3 things we ordered. I ordered them a level 2 out of 5 for spiciness and they were really spicy. Lastly the Pad Thai was just eh for me. The sauce was sweeter and much more heavy than I'm used to. I will probably check out some other Thai places in the area before giving this one another try.

Val L.

Yelp
Just go. You'll be glad you did. Food is fantastic. Drinks are delicious. Service is impeccable.

Yelp
Sad that we need to drive out of our neighborhood for really good Thai food. Good for Marlton/Cherry Hill to have two Bhan Thai restaurants. The host was so friendly when we first called to inquire about indoor seating and social distanced tables, upon which we made Saturday evening reservations, and even friendly when we called back on Saturday to change to mid-day reservations since we were ahead of schedule. Hence what we like to call a linner (late lunch - early dinner) meal. Parked right out front, lovely new space, lovely design and welcoming. Upon arrival we were greeted at the door and shown right to a table a table each away from two others, hence distanced. Table setting was lovely, paper menus ready. Upon first review of the extensive menu we my wife and I aligned on two appetizer dishes, chicken curry puff (puff pastry stuffed with ground chicken powder, potatoes and onions severed with a cucumber relish. Shaped like a mini Mexican empanada, flaky with a lovely taste complemented by the cucumber relish. Our second appetizer was the shrimp dumplings, Thais Sui Mai steamed dumpling shrimp, crabmeat, black mushrooms and scallions served with a Shoyu homemade soy sauce. Fabulous taste, delicate, a hint of sweetness due to the homemade soy sauce. Both, lovely plated presentations. We shared two dishes from the entrees menu, the red curry, made mild (needed a hint of flavor) with chicken. Served in a bowl, lovely presentation, nice flavor. Our only oops, hence why not a 5 star review, the chicken pieces were too firm, not tender, we ended up bringing the dish home but only if we were hungry later which we weren't. Our second dish was the Pad Khing with shrimp, this dish was a hit. Sautéed with fresh ginger zucchini, snow peas, mushrooms, bell peppers, scallions and onions. Very nice flavor, all fresh ingredients, the vegetables glimmered under the light, so thoughtfully julienned. Super clean, staff was super friendly and attentive. We will be back to try some other dishes. See our food photos.

Yelp
This just might be my boyfriend and I's favorite Thai place in the area! We even went twice in one week. The food is delicious and they give such a big serving that I always end up taking leftovers home. Favorite thing on the menu for me has got to be the Sticky Rice w/ Mango! A great Thai dessert. The presentation was just lovely. I would come back every day just for the sticky rice if i could. The only thing we found disappointing was the calamari. They had come out soggy, with a layer of oil right under them. May have just been a chef's minor error with how busy they were that night... and we're not ones to complain. Other than that, our experience was great! The staff were quite attentive & friendly. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
This is probably my favorite Thai spot ever and I've been to so many. The food is authentic and perfectly spiced. You simply can't go wrong with anything on the menu and I've sampled a lot on their extensive list of offerings. The service is always attentive and the prices are more than reasonable.

Yelp
Spring rolls are solid, crab rangoon was room temp which was odd, and green curry was the BOMB! Hubby liked the pad thai though he said it was a bit too tamarind flavor forward for his liking. No nonsense service and food came out pretty quickly.
google avatar

Yelp
First time here and got a pad Thai with vegetables for pickup. It's pretty cool, slightly above average i would say. Portion size is large.

Yelp
Even on Saturday morning, Rt. 73 in Marlton is a pain in the butt to drive, but at least it now has Bhan Thai as a worthy destination, making the traffic and crazies causing it, tolerable. I hadn't eaten a good Thai meal in many months, and decided a few days before to get up early this weekend and cruise across the Burlington Bristol Bridge and down 295 to this well reviewed Vietnamese kitchen. Arriving just as it opened at 11:30, I walked into an empty dining room and was greeted by a friendly Asian woman who welcomed me and confirmed I could dine outside on their umbrellaed patio. Seemed like the safer way to go in this renewed age of raging Delta Covid. I went with faves, Tom Kha Soup and Drunken Noodles (veggie), 'Thai Spicy'. They threw in a sushi orange ginger dressing salad, which was a surprise. The Tom Kha was excellent, with plenty of fresh mushrooms, sliced chicken, carrots, onion, coconut milk and lemongrass for kicks. Loved each and every slurp. The Drunken was a large plate with extra wide noodles and lots of colorful veggies. It also came with plenty of cubed tofu pan sauteed to a near burnt finish. The heat was there, although not the conflagration desired. The taste of the overdone tofu while subtle, was enough to through the flavor of the dish slightly off. So, while it was still recognizable, it could have been much better with a more deft hand holding the pan. Bhan Thai is a reasonable facsimile of a genuine attractive Thai restaurant, but candor requires referencing that better can be found in and around Philly, Central Jersey, and closer to home. 3.75 STARS.

Yelp
I was sad to see that Andale Grill closed but happy to find out Bhan Thai was opening a second location in Andale's vacated space. There has been a good deal of turn over for the four restaurants that opened up in this new and smallish shopping center on route 73, with only Naf Naf surviving. I have been going to Bhan Thai in Mount Laurel since the restaurant opened several years ago. I always thought their quality and presentation was very good. I believe and hope they will be successful in Marlton. I can also walk there from where I work when the weather is nice which is a big plus. I ordered the Pad Thai lunch special with shrimp on my initial visit to the new Bhan Thai. They really do make a very good Pad Thai in my opinion. The lunch special comes with the soup of the day. I wish there was a choice of soups, but there is only the one option for lunch. The restaurant is clean, bright and tastefully decorated. 4 solid Yelp stars for Bhan Thai Marlton!

Yelp
Our first time, we came a little after 5:30PM on a Friday night and we were the only ones in there. It was very clean, and had a nice ambiance. We ordered the Fried Calamari, French Fries, Seafood Pad Thai, Pad Kra Tiam and Chocolate Granmanier Soufflé. The amount of food in each dish was very generous and I would recommend them all, especially the Fried Calamari. The only small critique I would have would be that the Seafood Pad Thai was slightly on the greasy/heavy side but still delicious. By 6PM, a lot more customers came in for dining. We have also ordered takeout and the food was still good. We did try the Crabmeat Pancake but it was a bit mushy and the combination of the fresh toppings with the crabmeat pancake didn't mesh well. Parking is easy and there are a lot of parking spots as it is on a strip but can be crowded. 5/5

Yelp
This is maybe the second or third time I've been to this restaurant and the food is absolutely delicious and extremely fresh. I've never had a bad experience and the staff is always super polite. My husband and I usually order take out from here, but we decided to go out for a nice dinner since we are usually cooped up in the house working from home. This is the only Thai place we order from and the food never fails!

Lynnae M.

Yelp
Best Thai restaurant in the area. The ambience is nice. The lunch menu is a great bargain.

Selena T.

Yelp
I stopped by one time and the food was really good. The waitress was nice. I did try a few Thai restaurants before but this is the best one so far.

Yelp
So glad I found this place. Has an upscale vibe, very clean, friendly staff, and terrific food. The pad Thai portion size was enormous -- I think I took home more than I ate at the restaurant. I recommend this place and I will definitely go back.
google avatar

Betina T.

Yelp
The front of the store already catches your attention. I love the ambience of the place. It was really clean and the decor was modern yet still made you feel you're in Thailand. My husband and I came in almost before closing time and yet they still welcomed us warmly. We ordered the Pad Ce-ew and the Thai Noodle soup for our main course. The serving size was really generous and the flavor was good. Can't wait to try their other dishes. We also ordered the Thai Iced Tea and Iced Green Tea Latte for our drinks and we'll definitely be ordering those again on our next visit when we bring the rest of our family. Thanks for letting us leave satisfied, you have truly awakened our senses to Thai cuisine.

Yelp
First time and won't be last. Good food even when I did take-out and it took me a while to bring it back home then had to reheat. If it's still good then, then ya know it's on point when it's fresh out the kitchen!
google avatar

Paulene C.

Yelp
This location is just as great as the location in Mount Laurel. I ordered and loved the shrimp pad Thai. We also got a shrimp appetizer that was absolutely delicious! The staff was also friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly and tasted fresh. We will definitely be back.

Zachary E.

Yelp
I've lived in the area for 4 years and have tried every Thai place in a 10 mile radius. Bhan Thai is the absolute best. Their quality and ingredients and superior and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Bhan Thai is one of my favorite restaurants ever and is definitely comfort food. All of their appetizers are delicious and the noodle dishes are amazing, flavorful, and generously portioned.
google avatar

Prianka S.

Yelp
For south jersey, this is probably the best Thai you can get in the area. I tried the pad kee mao, duck curry and red curry with chicken. Overall, it was pretty good!
google avatar

Tom P.

Yelp
Note! They do their own delivery so you don't need to pay exhorbitant food service delivery fees. Ordered out tonight from Bhan Thai at the recommendations of friends, they did not disappoint, especially since many Asian restaurants are closing these days. But we were fortunate that Bhan Thai is still open. We had tried to order the previous Sunday, but they were closed, so instead waited till Friday to make a dinner order. The lady asked where we lived and that they could deliver within a 10 mile radius, well, we lived 11 miles but she was very accommodating and took our order. We ordered the BT combo, tamarind duck, Gai Yang, Shrimp fried rice, and a Thai Iced Tea. The delivery guy was prompt, no touch delivery and dropped off our food at our front door. The duck was amazing, the Gai Yang was okay. Everything you could hope for from a Thai restaurant. Look forward to ordering again from here!

Yelp
Finally, we have our own Bhan Thai in Marlton!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same owner (Tina), same crew, same friendly faces and DELICIOUS food And the best...Sticky Rice with Mango. located in the same shopping center as LA Fitness and next to AAA.

Yelp
Incredible Thai food in a clean, comfortable space with five star food and service. The Drunken Noodles are perfectly spiced with nicely sautéed Peppers. Pad See Ew is my wife's favorite and she loves it from here. So excited to have Bhan Thai's 2nd location in hometown Marlton! Happy to say the first experience here was exactly like the high quality and wonderful service we experienced in Mt Laurel.

Yelp
Very good fresh tasting food. Good service. The chicken satay was great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Byob.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious curry. Take out as well as eat in was delicious! I have tried both the mt Laurel and Marlton locations and both were great!

Yelp
Delicious. Flavors of their curry are excellent. Quality of ingredients and quantity of food are both good.

Yelp
We had a quick meal there last night and were happy to finally find a Thai place that was delicious. We both enjoyed all our appetizers and entrees. The ingredients were fresh and the vegetables still crunchy. That's one thing that many places dont get right...crunchy fresh veg. My only one negative is that the sauce in the Pad Kra Pao was a little too sweet but still a very enjoyable dish. The server was very nice and we will definitely be back. Since the portions were generous, we get to enjoy Bhan Thai for lunch too. Cant wait!
