If you like Taste of Himalayas, you’re going to immediately stop going and start going here instead because WOW! The Chicken Jhol Momo was FANTASTIC (seriously I could just get 2 orders of this and be on cloud 9). We also ordered the Palak Peneer and Bitter Chicken with a side of Garlic Naan. Both dishes were diverse with flavor. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and the curries were the perfect temp to keep indulging from the first bite. The staff here are very kind and helpful too! We can’t wait to come back again and try more of their dishes!

Literally you already know if you’ve seen my post I only post positive reviews but this by far BLEW my mind !! The best I mean ONE of the best restaurants I’ve been to in San Diego !! I will definitely be back for several reasons!! Chow mein BOMB, lentil soup BOMB , Goat meat daily special OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Amazing food and the customer service was spectacular! I have never seen my husband eat so fast and he usually never finishes his food he was looking for more !! Delicious beyond this world amazing!! Oh if you still don’t get it RUN NOT WALK to this superb restaurant!! You won’t regret it !

Google
All the great staples with a little something more that makes the dishes shine. Edit: Unfortunately I've had to lower my rating. I enjoy lamb and the last few times we've gone back it's been dry, chewy, and full of gristle (understewed?). I really liked this place and had a great experience at first. Maybe don't order lamb takeout?

This is a nice Nepalese/Indian restaurant in Old Town. They have indoor and patio dining. We ate on the beautiful patio. They gave us complementary lentil soup (delicious). We had several Nepalese appetizers and then chicken Tikka masala, saag paneer and garlic naan for dinner. All dishes were great. The service was friendly and helpful suggesting dishes and spice levels. We will definitely be back.

Google
Was craving some Indian food and this was one of the few close enough to my hotel. Naan: bread was a little dry and tough but it did take 45 mins for delivery. Lamb Biryani: was absolutely delicious! Huge portions and the most meat I've seen in a biryani in a long time. Goat curry: was piping hot even after the long delivery. Very flavourful and good amount of meat in it.

What a gem this is, surrounded by about 52,427 Mexican restaurants in the Old Town area of San Diego! My fiancée and I ate here for our anniversary this past weekend and found everything about it really relaxing and super friendly. The interior of the restaurant is small, with most guests opting for outdoor dining on their large patio, which is clean and really inviting. We did choose to eat inside, however, as it was a bit chilly outside for us. The staff are very friendly and super attentive — we never had to ask for water to be refilled or wave at them for anything; they were on top of our needs from start to finish, and couldn’t have been nicer. Service was prompt and food/drink was served in a very timely manner. The food here is delicious. The star of the meal were the steamed Chicken Momo dumplings! Oh, man! You could literally each order a plate of these little nuggets of yum, and that could be dinner; no joke! These are a must. We also had the Cheese Naan bread, along with their Chicken Tikka Masala, both of which were fantastic. Of note — since this isn’t a straight-up Indian restaurant, their Chicken Tikka Masala is creamier and sweeter than what you might expect (other Indian places make it more savory and spicy). I asked for “mild” heat on mine, and easily could have had “medium,” I believe. I had Mango Iced Tea and my fiancée had Mango Lassi, both of which were refreshing and super tasty. The prices here are definitely very good, considering the tourist hot spot this restaurant is found in. If we were San Diego locals, this would definitely be in our rotation! Dining here was definitely a highlight of our anniversary weekend! Highly recommend it! GET THE CHICKEN MOMOS!

I have visited this place multiple times and it has never failed me to impress. I just loved their customer service. Especially, I like vegetables Momo, chow mien, cauliflower curry and my husband’s favorite is goat and lamb curry. We will visit again soon to try other dishes as well. Honestly speaking, If you are looking for authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine, this place would be the perfect match for you.

Google
Start off with a lentil soup. It was mild in terms of heat but very in terms of amount of spice. A perfect amount to start the meal. It arrived hot. Chaat spice mix in the samosa was amazing. The tamarind sauce it came with was sweet and balanced. It complemented the slight heat and complex flavors in the spice of the samosa filling. The outside was crunchy but still soft. Now for the thali. 1. The rice was very fragrant and quite nice. The papad had a strong flavor, in a good way. 2. The saag (spinach dish) was amazing. I could have eaten just this and garlic naan and been happy, truly. It had a subtle cheesy flavor as an undertone to the spices used. It made this a rich and deep, flavorful and creamy dish. 3. The shrimp Tikka masala had a good flavor curry to it. However, the shrimp wasn't my favorite. The shrimp still had tails on, which made for a very messy meal. I had to pull them off but couldn't see where the tail ended, so I had to try not to fling sauce. Also, the shrimp were overcooked, so the texture wasn't quite right, which I'm sure isn't easy to get the timing right when cooking in a sauce. Wasn't worth the extra $3. I'll definitely have the Tikka masala again, but with the chicken. 4. Also in my thali was a cold potato carrot salad. It was okay, but I wasn't in the mood for a cold dish so didn't eat it. It wasn't bad tasting, just not spectacular. 5. I always enjoy a green salad, and this dressing was a nice balsamic, maybe with a tamarind? One bite and I ended up finishing the whole salad before trying anything else. Not sure what made it so good, but I enjoyed it. 6. Lastly, for my meal, the garlic naan, really flavorful. Not too greasy. Some parts were thicker than I'd like, but these were the softer parts. The thinner parts were a little over cooked, which made it harder to use these for eating my food with. I use those parts more like chips. As for the portions, they're a good amount. The thali without the lentil soup or samosa would have been a good amount for me and I wouldn't have finished the rice. With these, I ended up taking home leftovers. That being said, my partner finished his full bowl of chicken tikka and rice. This was good, but not great. It was boneless chicken, which was most. However, the chicken pieces were rather large, so the flavor on the outside was good, but the inside just tastes like chicken. Smaller pieces would have given a stronger flavor with each bite We both had a very small dinner that night, so it was quite filling. Lastly, we had masala chai. It was good, but rather expensive for one cup. It did have a very authentic flavor profile which is hard to find, so I appreciated that. Will I be back, yes. Was it expensive, yes. Will I order chicken in some kind of curry next time, also yes. Next time I return for lunch, I'll probably just get a couple samosas and then a plate of chicken something and an order of garlic naan to share with my partner. Also, just in case, if you're using the Synergy gift cards, these can't be used for the thali, so check what you buy beforehand to make sure you can use it.

Yelp
Bhojan Griha is my favorite Nepalese/Indian restaurant in SD. Every dish I've tried has been delicious. The ingredients they use are very fresh, and the food is well-seasoned. I also appreciate that their "spicy" is flavorful, rather than mouth-numbing. My favorite dishes are the salmon kadai, lentil soup, chilli veg momo, and baigan bharta. My husband likes the chicken achari curry, although I'm not the biggest fan of Indian pickles. Make sure to get the herbal garlic naan. We like to sit outside - they have a large, dog-friendly patio with heaters and plenty of space.

Yelp
We were visiting and this place was one of the highest rated Indian restaurants in the area. The place was relatively quiet on Sunday at noon. We ordered the butter chicken and naan. It came with a free serving of rice. The food was average, and the portions, although they're served in a tiny bucket styled container, are relatively small for the pricing. The server was friendly, but we'll probably skip this next time.

Yelp
I couldn't not give a five star review even though I got someone else's order . I ordered uber eats and somehow the delivery driver gave us someone else's order . We ordered a chicken saffron sizzling plate and Nann . We ended up getting chicken tikka masala , chicken coconut curry and rice and samosas . I'm going to review the food and not the mistake that uber eats made. Everything was really fine .. The chicken tikka masala the coconut curry and the samosas were alll perfect . Not what I ordered but all were good and we were super happy . Felt a little bad for whoever got our order. I'm would love to try again and get what I ordered , but Honestly was very sarisfied

Yelp
The ambiance is phenomenal. I felt like I was in a little village in India. The waitress seemed like she had a heavy load on her plate and maybe another server would've been better on a weekday noonish. She was professional and did her best. I ordered the curries and garlic naan. It was seriously the BEST Indian food I have ever experienced! The side of raitka $2.99 however was sweet and was bland. I wish I would've tried the dessert but next time.

Yelp
We were a table of 6 with a not very busy restaurant. Had to ask to put in our order after waiting 15 min without any server approaching us. The soup was tasty, but only lukewarm warm. All our entrees came out hot and flavorful. We again had to wait for the bill, I asked if tip was included because of the large table. I was told no, but an 18% service charge is included. Not sure what that's all about. I would give food a 4, but service was a 2, hence a 3 for average. Not sure we will go back.

Yelp
I had little hopes for this place. I was convinced that it was going to be a 2 star place. And I want to send my apologies to everyone because it might be my favorite Indian spot I've tried so far in SD. I would have given it a 3.5 star rating but the other 5 people who were with me that day rated it a 4 star place. We sat outside on the patio which was lovely. It was bright, open aired, decent chairs, large tables, and the smells from the kitchen were intoxicating. The patio is way bigger than their inside dining room which was a little dark. It was nearing closing time and most people around us was finishing up their meals so we basically had the whole place to ourselves by time our meal came. The food came out fast and was piping hot. We did family style but the food that was the best was mine. I ordered the lamb kadai which is overnight marinated lamb baked in tandoor oven then cooked with bell peppers, onion, tomato with herbs and spices. It was DELICIOUS. Others ordered: Chicken tikka masala Haku paneer choila Shrimp eggplant We also had naan. They had one filled with cherries and when I had it separately it was pretty bad. But mix it with my dish and it elevated my meal even more. Service was super sweet. I really appreciate their patience and swiftness in serving us.

Yelp
I came for dinner with my husband on Sunday night, giving the next day was a holiday it got busy after we got seated around 8 pm. Parking of course in old town was a hellish so keep that in mind. They have a big patio outside ( didn't look any seats inside) which is nice. I love Indian/Nepalese food and we've gone to several ones in SD. We ordered vegetable momo, chicken tika masala, butter chicken, and garlic naan. The curry was a bit greasier than I'd normally like and a bit too salty. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with the food, but it's very hard to find good Indian/Nepalese food in San Diego. The food took a long time to come out but our server was nice. had high hope for this one, but I would give about 3.5.

Yelp
Very happy we stopped here after exploring Point Loma. Got lucky with street parking, it's old town so might take a little searching. Food was delicious, tried the cucumber potato salad for the first time. Very fresh and well-seasoned. I always want Okra at Nepalese places, and the okra here was lovely. Cute outdoor seating, good service, and generous portions.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing Nepalese food, everything we tried was so flavorful! They give you complimentary lentil soup! So yummy! These are the dishes we recommend, but honestly I don't think you can go wrong here. The flavor truly hits!! Butter Chicken Momo (Dumplings) Chicken Marsala Garlic Cilantro Naan Chicken wings w/ yogurt sauce Chicken Chowmein Lamb Chili Momo (I don't usually eat lamb, and I loved them) This is now a staple place we visit when we're in SD! I promise, you will not regret eating here! Kudos to the chef!!

Yelp
Food is decent 4/5. Tried a few items and most of them were tasty Service was ok 3.5/5 Ambiance is ok and casual 3/5

Yelp
Good food. I got an Uber Eats order, and everything was warm. The rice was enjoyable, and the shrimp pakora was okay. The naan had a different texture, not the chewy and yummy texture I am accustomed to. I would not order again, but the food was good enough to satisfy me until my next meal.

Yelp
Some of the best Indian/Nepalese food I've had in the United States, let alone San Diego County. My husband and I have "dined in" a handful of times and the staff has always been very kind and accommodating, but more often than not, we elect for takeout because this is one of the few restaurants in our neighborhood that is just as yummy from home as it is in the dining room. The saag paneer and butter chicken are our go-to's. As is their garlic herb naan bread. Order more than you think you need and thank me later. I used to feel like their rice wasn't soft/fluffy enough, but they must have made a change because this last time we ordered takeout it was delicious. In fact the only thing I *wouldn't* recommend is their crispy cauliflower. I prefer an air-fried approach, so I find their breading a little heavy/soggy. Whatever this place might lack in trendy decor they more than make up for in heart and homestyle cooking. All things considered, this is an amazing spot in a quiet community that deserves more hype and support.
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered jhol momo and steam Momo. While momos and jhol momo were really good, salsa for momo was salty. Chowmein was ok, and tea tasted authentic. Very good ambiance of the place.
google avatar

Eric O.

Yelp
Have gotten to go orders several times from this place. Food quality is excellent. The tikka masala (we got chicken, but it's the sauce) was outstanding. The chicken vindaloo was also excellent - to me not quite as good as the tikka masala, but quite good. The Pakore were insane. Spinach, onion, and cabbage mixed with spices and mixed in batter - deep fried and served with mint sauce. OMG. Garlic naan bread - delish. And finally for desert, the gulab jamun. it's a special dough fried crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a sugar syrup. Not overly sweet or heavy - just really good.
google avatar

Allen Z.

Yelp
Food here was decent--we ordered five entrees and the vegetarian ones were definitely the standouts. Service wasn't great--we were seated for upwards of 30 minutes before anyone came over to give us water or take our orders. Ambiance is definitely the best part about this restaurant. Wasn't crowded at all when we went on a saturday night, and the outdoor patio is dog friendly.

Yelp
My Husband and I had Lunch here at BHOJAN GRIHA located at Old Town San Diego . We arrived just in time for when they opened for Lunch, so we got seated right away. It took us a bit of time to order since I was not that Familiar with their menu. But I picked what sounded good. So I ordered the following: *LAMB CHOWMEIN *BUTTER CHICKEN *CHICKEN TANDOORI *CHICKEN JHOL MOMO *GARLIC CILANTRO NAAN Our food came so quick and everything smelled so good. The first food that landed on our table was the LAMB CHOWMEIN. I thought this would be something like a regular chowmein that I always have, but their version is very good, the noodles are cooked nicely and it was very tasty, not greasy, the Lamb was tender, and it was very flavorful. The BUTTER CHICKEN and TANDOORI were good, and it has good seasoning as well. The meats on both were tender too. The CHICKEN JHOL MOMO was okay, but there was something slightly bitter that I was tasting, not bad at all, but not something I am a big fan of. The GARLIC CILANTRO NAAN, as always, was good, I eat them a lot with the BUTTER CHICKEN. My husband and I like this place because they can control the Spice levels nicely here. I Love Spicy food, but my Husband and Son don't, so for them making all of our food not too spicy at all for us is a big yes for us to make this our regular Nepalese Indian restaurant to dine in. The food is delicious, with a very friendly staff.
google avatar

Yelp
Tasty, as always. We got the Chana masala, cheese naan, and special of the month. Perfecto!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
The food is amazing and the ambiance is great! We had the Lamb Chilly Momo and the chicken tikka masala. We've also had mango lassi. Everything was so good. The Lamb Chilly Momo is my favorite item. It's so well seasoned and the momo sauce is addicting. I've been back twice to eat this since. The ambiance is great with Sanskrit banners and a great outdoor space. The staff are very nice and provide great service. The food came out fast the first time we went, but it did take a bit longer the second two times we went I think due to the crowd on a Saturday night. They're located right in Old Town so I recommend parking in one of the main lots and walking over. It's a gem in Old Town.
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
Our lunch was great. I wish I came on a day they had thali special. We got coconut vegetable curry, Chana masala, tea, roti, and cheese naan. It wasn't very busy for lunch on a Monday. Service was good. The tea was ok, the coconut curry and rice were as good as I'm accustomed to. The roti was a bit dry. I thought the Chana masala was exceptional. They put potato in it which I think really elevated it. The heat level was just right for us.
google avatar

Barb N.

Yelp
Enjoyed dining at Bhojan Griha. Our helpful waitress suggested Murgh Chicken curry and the vegetarian Korma. Both entrees, and the plain naan were delicious. There is a lot of outdoor seating and ample indoor seating. Nice decor that reminded me of a past visit to Nepal.
google avatar

Malia P.

Yelp
I keep forgetting to take pictures because usually once the food is on the table I start eating. Their spice level goes up to 7, even at a 7 it's not spicy. So far I've tried their saaag paneer, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala and their garlic naan. Everything is so tasty. For those who are sensitive to smells, sit away from the bar. They burn incense and for me smells affect the taste of the food. Luckily we were nearly done when they started lighting them.
google avatar

Roxanne H.

Yelp
Had a great dinner here on a Wednesday night! Came around 7:30, found street parking, and got seated right away. The servers were very friendly and food came out at a decent time. The food was reasonably priced and very delicious! Loved the Naan and Paneer Tikka Masala. It is mainly outdoor seating but they did have heaters which was nice. Would come again! Check this place out if you want a good food spot in the area!
google avatar

Kylie P.

Yelp
Definitely adding to my rotation of local Indian/Nepalese restaurants! Flavorful and great spice. Really enjoyed the Tikka Masala and Vindaloo. I always judge by the garlic naan and this one was delicious - crispy and perfectly garlicky. Will return!
google avatar

Eunice H.

Yelp
Such a charming Nepalese restaurant near old town! They have a wonderful menu of everything you could possibly want from appetizers, to vegetarian, meat entrees, biriyani, dessert, etc. We tried their lunch special where you can pick one vegetable curry and one meat curry and it comes with rice, potato salad, salad, and your choice of papadum ( a crispy flatbread) or gulab jamun (sweet fried dough drenched in cardamom syrup). They also start you off with a flavorful hearty lentil soup. You have the option to order a side of garlic naan for $2.99 which I highly recommend. The portion sizes were very generous and filling. The chicken vindaloo and butter chicken were super flavorful and rich. I loved dipping the garlic naan in the sauce. The saag aloo was a delicious spinach potato dish that was creamy and filling. The paneer tikka masala was excellent with creamy cheese marinated and smothered in a lovely sauce. For only $13.99, this is a steal for such flavorful, fresh, high quality food! The staff were all lovely and kind and patient.
google avatar

Ed S.

Yelp
4.7 Average? Sorry should be closer to 3.5. Here's why: Naan consistency was not right. Had it enough to know that. Papadum was fine. Chicken Vindaloo sauce tasted way too much like Italian pasta sauce out of a jar. And no heat despite ordering medium. Murgh Biryani was spiced as ordered but a bit dry. Service was fine
google avatar

Samantha C.

Yelp
Delicious, reasonably priced food, great service, and cool patio. The flavors were excellent and portions were big. Loved this place!
google avatar

Yelp
We were taking the trolley to the Elton John show and was looking for an Old Town spot that would offer gluten free options and settled on Bhohan Griha. It's nestled at the end of San Diego Ave in a building that was clearly designed for a Mexican restaurant, but hasn't housed such a facility since 2009 (per Google Earth). On an unseasonably warm Friday evening, there was plenty of seating available in the patio (and it has mostly patio seating). We ordered a sizzling shrimp tandoori dish that was AMAZING. The veggies were outstanding! The chicken Biryani was well seasoned. We had both a tikka masala and chicken curry. All were spiced as requested and were great with rice. It's not your standard margarita-based Old Town fare, but is well worth expanding one's palate.
google avatar

Gabriel M.

Yelp
Wow. This place is absolutely amazing. The flavors in their dishes are authentic and rich. The outside patio has an ambiance that is unmatched too. The service is great too. If you like Himalayan cuisine, this is the place you need to eat
google avatar

Gabby A.

Yelp
This was my first time along with my boyfriend. The outdoor patio was cute as well as the inside. I loved the decor and the flags hanging all over the walls. The food was DELICIOUS! We tried their fries, mozzarella sticks, butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, cheese Naan, Nepali beer, & mango Lassi. It was a ton of food & drinks but it was amazing! Service was a little slow, the restaurant was a little busy when we went on a Friday night at 7pm. The folks working were very kind! We are definitely coming back. This is our new favorite spot!
google avatar

Nycole R.

Yelp
Look, I know you're in Old Town and you want Mexican food. Fine. Have that one night, but then be sure to pay Bhojan Griha a visit. I was surprised by how good it was, being that it's surrounded by tacos, burritos and margaritas on every other corner, but this place is legit. Most of the seating is outdoors, which just makes my heart happy. Any time I can eat under the stars I will take that opportunity. Even in January-they have patio heaters to keep the temperatures comfortable. The décor is vibrant and colorful with a Nepali flare and the smells of the different foods waft out of the courtyard, beckoning people to come take a glance at the menu. My wife and I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the lamb along with an order of plain naan. I really enjoyed my dish, although my wife reported that it was slightly too tomato-y. I think it's a personal preference, however. I really liked the lentil soup that is brought out as an appetizer. It's unique and filling-not a light soup, so be prepared for that. Service was pleasant, although subdued. I would definitely recommend grabbing a meal here-and perhaps plan on leftovers; the portion sizes are pretty large.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
Excellent food and a pleasant outdoor courtyard for summer evening dining. I've eaten at a few different places in Old Town and so far this has been my favorite. If you like northern Indian/Nepalese/Himalayan food, then you'll enjoy this. Best of all, there is a variety of great options for vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. I enjoyed the Veggie Momos (Steamed) and would recommend them. But in particular, I loved the Ram Torya (Bhindi Tarkari), which was the best okra dish I've ever had. It had a lot of other vegetables mixed into it than I am used to getting when I order a bhindi masala and I really loved the combination of those flavors. I will order that every time I come here!
google avatar

Benjamjn R.

Yelp
Was looking for a good restaurant not too pricey near old town, we hit the jackpot. Absolutely delicious, generous portions, reasonably priced and the staff were very nice and not too overbearing.
google avatar

Cassandra R.

Yelp
Surprising find in the Old Town area. Atmosphere was great. Service was exceptional. Everything came out really fast but still seemed made-to-order based on the fresh-tasting, crispy, super-hot state. Quantity was good and we took food home. There wasn't anything about this that would find me driving all the way across the county for it on its own, but it was a solid discovery.
google avatar

Joy B.

Yelp
This place is the best Indian food in San Giego! Super vibey! My best friend and I looooved it! Even on a cold night it was nice eatting outside because of their heaters. Wine was good. Curries were fantastic! Highly recommend the Vegetable tikki masala and coconut chicken. Lentil soup / daal was epic and naan on point. Service was fantastic with a smile!
google avatar

Yelp
I had read about this Nepalese spot in Old Town of all places from the SD Reader. I was curious and had to try it. When you walk in there is lots of seating in a nice open courtyard. The smell of incense is in the air. You definitely get an Indian food kind of vibe from the place but that is suiting as India neighbors Nepal in the Himalayas. The service was great and the lady waiting on our table was very soft spoken and polite. I got the paneer saag and I was honestly not the biggest fan. I felt like this was really just another Indian food spot but advertising itself as a Nepalese spot. But maybe they really are just the same thing as a sipped on my mango lassi...
google avatar

Cheryl G.

Yelp
Solidly deserving of four stars, this is definitely the best Indian/Nepalese dining in this area of San Diego. Our server was attentive and quick and gave great suggestions. We started out with the cheese naan- although it was definitely piping hot and fresh it wasn't really to my taste. It was a bit on the dry side. The chicken MoMo, Murgh Curry and Nawaratna Biryani were all delicious. My first time having MoMo and I was very excited that it lived up to my expectations. The curry was delicious although I thought the way it was presented, made it look like a deceivingly large portion when in fact was on the smaller side. The bottom of that serving container was elevated, and there was nothing below it. The Nawaratna Biryani had the most delightful flavor profile- a low heat and a bit of sour. The raita sauce that came with it was the perfect compliment. I especially liked the little chunks of paneer and tofu in the dish. It had a lot of vegetables in it, which I did enjoy but I thought was kind of strange. I've never seen squash and broccoli and other Indian restaurants or in my travels in India. I love all the veggies though so bring them on! I thought the restaurant itself was kind of shabby. Tables looked like they had seen better days. It was chilly outside so we sat it one of the indoor tables where they had some booth seating. I don't know what that seat was made out of but it made my butt sweat while I was sitting there. Didn't love that.

Yelp
It wasn't a busy day when my wife and I had lunch at Bhojan Griha. The reason being, it was on a weekday. Out of all of the food places around Old Town, my wife chose this place. Great choice! Our server was very friendly and informative. We had a couple of questions in regards to the items on their menu, and she was so detailed in explaining what it was. The place was nice and clean, and the majority of the seating was outdoors. It would look amazing during the night, as there were so many light decorations. My wife and I decided to go for their Fresh Vegetable Samosa, and it was delicious. Fresh made and hot. I decided to go for their lunch special in which you have to choose 1 vegetarian and 1 non-vegetarian item. The combo also includes their potato carrot salad with some fresh salad. My wife ordered their shrimp biryani, which she loved and a delicious dish they have as well. Will be going back here for sure.

Yelp
Did a pick up order after Sea World. Everything was packed well, tasted as expected, and on time. No complaints!

Yelp
Really tasty food! Good portions, and priced well. We really like the curries, and both of the appetizers that are chaat style. Samosa and pakora, I think.

Yelp
TRUST ME I SWEAR THEY PUT GOOD AFFIRMATIONS IN THE FOOD--its that yummy. I am celiac and my friends went to a spot where I couldn't eat. Afterwards, we went over this spot and oh my goodness the decor the ambiance and the FOOD is delicious and within budget! Definitely coming back here

Yelp
The service was spectacular. We got a complimentary lentil soup with our vegetable samosas, while we waited for our entrees. They offer a plethora of vegan options with vegetables or tofu for the protein. The Chana masala was perfectly flavored. It tastes so rich, even mild. My young sons loved it. The ambiance is relaxing and there was live music when we came in for dinner Saturday night. You have to try it, if you're a vegan/vegetarian looking for protein rich, perfectly flavored curries.

Yelp
This is the second time we have been here and both experiences have been a good one. Or was a good warm meal on a cold day. They have indoor but mostly outdoor seating. The service was nice and the food was good (again). If you are in old town and not feeling the traditional Mexican cuisine give this place a go.

Yelp
Comfortable atmosphere and attentive staff with outstanding food. The chilli veggie momo was flavorful, and the tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala dishes were both delicious and expertly prepared. The only downside to this place is that it's located in Old Town so parking can sometimes be difficult, but it's well worth the effort!

Yelp
I love this Indian restaurant located at the start of Old Town, and area primarily known for its Mexican cuisine. I've tried pretty much every Indian restaurant in town and Bhojan Griha is definitely one of my favorites. They have a huge selection of traditional Indian curries, as well as the various vegetarian items and naan breads. They also have a great weekday lunch special called a lunch Thali for a very reasonable price that includes your choice of two different curries, rice and a soup. Great way to sample a variety of the curry stay offer so you can decide what you like. I really like the butter curry, with chicken and I like the paneer Tikka masala. I like everything I've tried here actually. Such a convenient location too. Try this place the next time you're craving Indian food or at Old Town but not feeling Mexican!

Yelp
Such heart-warming, comforting, filling food made by hand with love. Made me homesick for Chef Sanjog Chaudhary's country, lol! I was trembling from low blood sugar at 4 pm, having forgotten to eat lunch, and staggered, shivering and shaking, into an empty restaurant. I was welcomed to a choice of indoor or outside tables on a spacious patio. As soon as I ordered, they brought a small bowl of daal- lentil soup, which hit the spot on such a chilly rainy day! I ordered: 1. Garlic and Herb naan: perfectly toasted and not as heavily salted as typical restaurant naan- topped with a smidge of garlic, fenugreek leaves and oregano. Paired exceedingly well with the extra sauce from my samosa chaat- I wiped up every last drop with this heavenly thin crispy yet soft and filling bread. I took one slice home and while still good, I suggest you just eat it fresh at the restaurant for max texture appreciation. 2. Samosa chaat- my fav samosa topped with bits of puri, crunchy carrot, onion, coriander- aka cilantro, fresh tomato and peas, then dressed with yogurt, coriander chutney, and tamarind chutney. The tomato-onion-cilantro combo reminded me of the Mexican vibe of the surrounding neighborhood. Just like topping a potato taquito with salsa fresca, crema and chamoy! Yum! I broke up the samosa into bits and scooped a generous spoonful of the chaat for a delicious mouthful that hit every sensory nerve in my palate (except pain, haha). Crispy, soft, hot, cold, savory, sweet, tangy, salty, umami, so great with the naan. 3. Lamb momo: I should have stopped before ordering this, but I was so hungry! I was only able to finish half the order which was 8 dumplings. These were moist, tender dumplings that could be a meal on their own. I polished off the last 4 the next day and they were still delicious! Although they are wrapped in a similar shape to Chinese xiaolongbao, the wrap is much thicker and there is no broth. They came with a mild tomato based creamy chutney that I could have sipped a quart of. Still, I found myself craving a little extra heat with this dish so I ordered a side fermented of pickle - the perfect little ultra sour, salty pungent crunch with a pepper kick. If you want truly hot spice- go with the habanero sauce. I wasn't so brave. Also, they tell you the pickles are mild but if you don't have a good chili tolerance or ability to eat very fermented strong tasting food, don't get it. Personally I loved it! Will definitely be back if I am in the area. The only down side is very tight street parking.

Yelp
Curries -- murgha and chicken tikka masala -- and saag aloo (and lentil bean soup) -- were tasty. Reason not 5 stars is because naan was not impressive. Top was too crunchy and the rest was doughy. Naan should be a little soft chewy with some parts that have air pockets/bubbles and some parts firm toasted but not crunchy. Indoor and outdoor seating with heat lamps and white lights. Nice friendly service. Curious to try lunch special!

Yelp
Sorry for the half eaten pictures of the food. We wanted to try everything right away while it was piping hot. We went to dinner on a double date before a show at the Cygnet. We ordered Taj Mahal and Himalayan Blues beers to start. They were a little inattentive at first but made up for it later on. We ordered and they brought us each a cup of lentil soup. It tasted like a watered down dhal soup but it was okay. Then the main food. Those momos are a must do. We order Chicken Jhol momos which tasted like Asian dumplings but in a delicious sauce. Highly recommend. Our friends got the butter chicken masala (a little sweet for my taste) and the Nepalese chicken chow Mein. What a unique dish. They loved it. The samosas were standard. My chicken kadai (spice level 8) was fantastic. It had carrots and peppers and breast meat chicken in a spiced sauce served with basmati rice dusted with cumin seeds. Husband got the lamb curry. Great flavor but a little gamey for my taste. Can't wait to go back with the kiddos!

Yelp
The majority of seating is outdoors, which was nice. However, I went in with certain expectations of Indian cuisine, and the flavors were a bit different from what I'm used to. The butter chicken leaned towards sweetness, almost like honey, which was unexpected. The chicken vindaloo was decent, as was the naan bread. But what really stood out to me were the chicken Jhol Momos, reminiscent of gyozas but with a unique twist that I enjoyed. If you visit, don't expect the typical Indian flavors you're accustomed to. Service was good too.
