This is the only Chinese restaurant in town, a small town tucked in the northeast corner of the state. It's quite small, run by a Chinese family. The younger male owner (?) clearly grew up here, he could pass for any person in Indiana or California. Yet I heard Chinese (Mandarin?) being shouted from the kitchen. The food is very cheap and passably good. I had the lunch plate, which chicken cashew, steamed rice, and cheese wontons. The wontons were huge, sweet, and warm. The sauce on the chicken was a little too thick and it congealed quickly. I ordered shrimp fried rice and wonton soup to take away with me. I had some of the soup tonight. It was really four giant, flavorful wontons with a little rich chicken broth around it. The wontons were sturdy and filling. The broth tasted a little fatty, or with some flat undertaste. Still, the lunch, with the takeaway was only $12. The waitress, a local girl, was friendly and helpful. The place the plain, but clean. I could park my medium sized RV and got back out with only a little trouble. It's at a major intersection in town and the restaurant is tucked right into a corner of it.
