I was not the person to pick this Italian restaurant in the heart of Paris - I am very much a “when in Rome” person. This place was excellent - we could have been in Tuscany. Pizza, pasta and Buratta (below) were all very nice. The place is on a very fun street in Paris and seems to be always busy. We were upstairs- a little away from the action but necessary given the size of our group. We did not wait but I would expect to if you do not want to be upstairs.

Google
Food and service were brilliant cannot fault it. Only 4 on atmosphere was because the music was a little louder than we would've liked but didn't spoil our experience. Service was attentive and food came out rapid, but was as ordered and hot. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Google
The restaurant is located in a busy touristic and lifely area. The outside terras is packed with small round tables and two chairs. Rather tight setting. We ordered a pasta dish and a pizza. Not much place was left on the table after the plates were served. The food portions are rather small and while the food was good it had nothing special.

Google
great place for a excellent breakfast. combo’s are a great deal for the food and drinks. good coffee and service. toilets can do with a make over but especially the terras on the weekends are a great place to enjoy the breakfast and watch people. the egg benedict are super.

Google
Recently ate here whilst in Paris. The restaurant was busy and the servers were slammed, they made a good effort. I had the Diavola pizza and a bottle of still water- €26. Was good not great but filled the void.

The food here is wonderful. I recommend the shrimp risotto and the pizzas. The service is excellent!

Google
This is one of the best restaurants we have dined at in Paris. The hospitality of the entire staff, customer service, food short options, and taste. Everything is amazing. Very professional business.. Highly recommend.

Google
Been there over lunch . Staff is friendly with fast service . Portion is very fulfilling . I had the seafood salad which was tasty and fresh . My husband had the beef filet with truffle sauce and crispy french fries . The chicken escalope is golden , fried to perfection comes in 2 pieces . As for the cafe gourmand , the tiramisu was disappointing …

Yelp
I came here for dinner with some friends on a Tuesday evening in late April 2023. We were a group of 8 and had made a reservation the day before. When we arrived around 7:45 PM the restaurant was reasonably busy--all of the outdoor seating was taken even though it was a pretty chilly day and there were a good number of people seated inside already too. The restaurant seemed clean and the lighting in the restaurant was intimate (a bit dark). All told we spent about 3.5 hours at the restaurant as we started with drinks first and it took a little while for everyone to get settled. Everyone ordered between 1-3 alcoholic drinks over the course of the meal, and we also ordered 4 pizzas to share: margherita, Napoli, 4 cheese and mortadella / pistachio. This largely sufficed for 8 people with reasonable appetites. The pizzas were tasty, the base was the thinner style (easier to eat with fork and knife) but the crusts were nice and puffy. My favorites were the margherita and the Napoli but all 4 were well liked by all. The service for the food and drink was satisfactory, they took some time to come back to take our food orders after a few rounds of drinks but that was fine as we clearly needed the time. However at the end of the meal when we wanted to leave, it took about 4 tries to finally get someone to come over with the card reader and some of us were getting really antsy. We also had to ask multiple times to get a few water pitchers near the end of the meal. The total bill came out to about 195€ which seemed normal for a night out in the center of Paris. The restaurant is located in a nice, bustling area that is busy even on weeknights. Conveniently accessible from metro stops Sentier and Châtelet. The tables are small but typical of Paris, and I'm sure it would be a great place to people watch in nice weather. The tables near the door get a lot of draught from the door opening and closing all the time (and a not insignificant amount of secondhand smoke) so if that bothers you I would recommend seating farther in. American Express accepted.

Yelp
This place is great for keto dining! The shrimp with Buratta is the best! The burger was greatly delicious too! The service was fantastic

Yelp
Food was on point! Had great apps and entrees. The drinks were also very good. Service and moon of the restaurant was quick and easy.

Yelp
Finding it so refreshing that almost every meal in lovely Paris is a 5 star experience! Ducked in out of the rain into this tidy bistro. It was getting a makeover as people were dining but you hardly noticed.. we could sit inside here so that helped.. the staff was very friendly and helped us interpret the menu. I ordered the special "escallope pullett "with pot de creme, frites and dessert . The chicken came as a full breast but it was very thin (not tenderloin but very flat) with a mushroom cream sauce that was not too heavy or too much sauce. A few sundried tomatoes. It was very tasty. The dessert was los pan y fraiche, it was excellent as well.

Yelp
I'm reading a lot of negative reviews here and I'm not quite sure why. My wife and I stopped off here for a couple of pizzas and I thought they were really good. This was our first trip to Paris and we had nothing but fun every day we were here. The people, the restaurants all good This shop was another fun place to sit by the street and watch all the people. We sat down and were greeted quickly so we could order drinks. We did not wait long after ordering the pizzas and they came out hot, fresh and extremely tasty. This was not the only place we ordered pizza and I must say they were all delicious. It was fun sitting with the crowd and having lunch... It's not just a busy restaurant but another establishment with lots of electricity in the air. First time here and definitely not my last...

Yelp
Amazing food. Very nice place to sit with a group during Fashion week in between shows and before parties. Very good drinks

Yelp
Great spot to sit outside and catch a drink and a bite. Staff it's quite friendly and personable. The menu has a bunch of options, something for everyone, the drinks list is quite extensive offering several varieties or many vines and liquors. They offer some unique cocktails as well. They have a happy hour from 4-7 which is basically buy one get one free for all drinks. I sat outside and people watched while snacking on some olives and little breads. The street is on is also beautifully decorated.

Yelp
I'd like to start my review by saying Paris and France in general isn't known for smiling, welcoming waiters but our waiter actually remembers us as we pasted by the next morning with a smile, wave and good morning. It was a refreshing and gave the restaurant even more of a romantic feel. We waited for about 10 mins outside and once our drinks were ready so we're our seats. The restaurant has dark Lighting and candle light like most in Paris and was full of guest would seemed to order the pizza. I am a plate watcher. I love to see what everyone is eating. As I glanced at the menu I wondered why a lot of the guest ordered pizza, there were so many great choices to choose from. I ordered the Rumsteak with truffle sauce and green beans, my table Also ordered the salmon with pesto noodles and the chicken sandwich and fries. We all became silent as we ate and then loud moans and tightly closed eyes let the surrounding tables know our wolf pack found a delicious victim. We all cleaned our plates and even dipped our meals in each other's sauces. It was an unintentional communal meal that we all still rave about.

Yelp
Ok so we were walking around & peckish and all the restos were pretty full...it was a lovely bright sunny day & all the nice ones where you could sit outside were all full of smokers...how to ruin a wonderful café culture breathing in someone else's inhaled & exhaled smoke while you are trying to eat!!! So we chose a place that looked ok & went & sat inside to eat...a revelation, well for a little Italian pizzeria plus Service good, price ok and my pizza - & I have to say I don't usually eat pizza - was brilliant; in fact probably one of the best I've ever had. 3 cheeses & pears overlaid with prosciutto. Excellent. The pasta was apparently pretty good too Would pass by again if down that way

Yelp
As a tourist, we knew the timing wasn't proper for our meal, but we were starving. Stopped for a quick meal around 4:30pm and ordered a Marinara pizza and classic bruschetta with cocktails- Negroni and Bellini. Pizza order was wrong (Margherita) and had to be redone. No apology, server just whisked off the table and walked away. New pizza arrived with ultra thin crust that had a soggy middle. Edges were authentic Italian style, but center didn't have enough heat on that dough. Bruschetta was TALL and no way a person could stuff that in on a bite. Result was to cut and fork bites in pieces- tragic. A variety of oils were provided and the peppered version was delicious. Cocktail were spot on. Maybe it was the timing with the kitchen, or our server who went off shift with no handover, but I'd stick with drinks and going at peak times if you plan on giving them a try.

Yelp
I was very surprised that this place was so packed. I ordered the Gambas grillee. While eating my 2nd prawn I realized the flavor was not fresh at all. The portions were generous but I could not eat the 7 others. When I told the waitress, she just said she was sorry, but still charged me the 25 euros it cost me for an inedible dish. Will not return.

Yelp
It is a tourist trap, spend your money elsewhere! Honestly, this place was terrible. The only reason I'm rating it two stars instead of one, is because they gave me my money back when requested. Ordered the spaghetti bolognese (because how do you scree that up?) and it literally had no flavour. Sent it back and asked for it to be removed from the bill, which after being questioned by three different staff members about what was wrong with the food, they obliged. The bruschetta was served with melted cheese (?!) and barely any tomatoes. Everything was bad and overpriced.

Yelp
Mediocre pizza, disappointed by how salty the prosciutto was Overall not that impressed

Yelp
Too many places on this incredible street of restaurants to make this your stop. We've eaten here three times. It's gotten progressively worse every time. The food is good, even sometimes great. The service has been bad recently. Unfortunately, it's come from the top. Sebastian, a co-manager/owner, was our server this time. He disappeared after the first pleasant greeting. That would be okay if someone else stepped in. But no one did. The entire upstairs was literally abandoned and everyone had to go downstairs to get service/pay. After an hour my wife and kid left. I walked out later after waiting to pay the bill. When I finally found Sebastian he was awful and unapologetic. I've worked in restaurants and hospitality for 25 years, including most of that managing. I've also spent over a year eating in European restaurants. This was exceptionally bad and had gotten worse over time. We will never be back.

Yelp
It seems like a lot of the complaints here are about mixed drinks. But I didn't have that problem as I love Parisian wine, and I found the food to be quite delicious. The first night of our trip to Paris, we wandered up and down the street and settled at an outside seat here. While it was a bit too close to the couple next to us (we saw them happy, angry, their moods going up and down; slightly discomforting) it was still a decent spot for people watching, otherwise. We started out with the appetizer trio - a mix of Italian charcuterie, cheeses (including fried cheeses), cheeses on bread, more bread, and veggies. It said it was for '2-3 people' and the waiter didn't seem surprised when we ordered it and a pizza (bc we are American?;) but when it came it was HUGE! It could easily serve 6+ people, but it was delicious, and gave us something to snack on the next day. ;) We also ordered, that first night, a pizza with olives, olive tapenade, and I believe brie. My husband was in heaven with this pizza ;) It was good, I'll admit. Sorry that I don't recall the name. A few days later (Sunday) we'd walked a ton and went back to our apartment to rest - but woke up super hungry (of course!) It was after 11:00 PM but thankfully Bianco was still open (albeit much quieter than the prior night) and I was happy to go back and order another pizza that looked interesting to me - the Parma Luxe pizza. We were also given fried bread and olives as an appetizer, which hadn't happened the other evening. (We also sat inside, which was pleasant.) My husband had the veal parmesan (or escalope de veau) which was delicious. Unfortunately it came with cold pasta which was just strange to us. My pizza (Tomate, Mozzarella, Chèvre, Gorgonzola, Poire, Jambon de Parme) with pears, cheeses, and parma ham totally hit the spot. I took half home and snacked on it for breakfast the next day - it was still delicious. I say, if you go to Bianco, don't go for the 'scene' or mixed drinks, go for the food, the very good wine, and if you're lucky, the not-too-crowded atmosphere. I am definitely a fan.

Yelp
Great ambience on Montorgueil but AWFUL bar. The drinks are bad and expensive and the service is awful. After having drinks on the terrace for an hour with friends, the waiter told me I had to switch my comfortable seat with back support for a bar stool because other women/new customers had arrived... Obviously I didn't move, but still -- can you imagine?? After an awful drink at a ridiculous price, I can safely say I'll never come back here again (and I live two blocks away!). AVOID.

Yelp
Stylish place. Sit outside and watch people pass by have a drink and it's good place to be. Food service however needs improvement. As regards taste it is quite ok, but e.g. the ceasar salad lacked dressing, the fries have been cold, refill of dry baguette bread compared to fresh bread when first served.

Yelp
Bianco's major selling point is its excellent location, on a wonderful walking street in a historic neighborhood. It's other great selling point is that it keeps very late hours. It's enormous, by Paris standards, with two floors and more tables than you can imagine. Reliable for a late night stop and surprisingly, you can still nurse a 2.50€ espresso for as long as you want without being bothered.

Yelp
The pros: Food tastes good, at least until my wife got home and had a stomach ache from the shrimp pasta. The Cons: We had a strange waiter who kept making fun of us for not speaking any French. I know this is a stereotype of the French, but this was honestly the first time I had experienced it here in Paris since being here for 2 weeks, everyone else so far has been incredibly nice. He brought us a second round of drinks we didn't order, and refused to take them back. We didn't touch them, so he didn't charge us, though I imagine he would have if we did. I've never had free refills of wine in France or any where else for that matter. Just watch your bill carefully if you go here, it definitely seems like a tourist trap and that they might prey on you if you don't speak French. Slow service as well if you sit inside.

Yelp
Excellent service! Great spot for pizza and vino - even late night! They are welcoming and have blankets and heaters to make the stay cozy!

Jordan P.

Yelp
Close quarters. The service was a 2/10. The coffee was 2/10. The bruschetta was 5/10. Pasta was 6/10. If you have limited time in Paris, skip this one: it's not worth the time.

Yelp
A good place to get drinks but the portion sizes were not great. They have a great variety of cocktails but, their food is over priced and not worth the hassle. The staff also was very slow. This place has a great location but overall it wouldn't be a top priority to go back.

Yelp
Stopped today (May 13) for breakfast with my family. We ordered full breakfast with eggs (flat for my husband) and asked for croissants to be warmed up. Waiter brought hot chocolates and croissants first, way before eggs, so we ate as we were hungry. Croissants were cold and hot chocolate, although tasty, was in tiny cups. Then the long-awaited eggs arrived... my omelette was burnt and inedible! My hubby got omelette instead of flat eggs and he couldn't eat as it had weird oily taste. Very disappointed. Wish we stopped at another place that we visited yesterday but there were lots of smokers there and I opted for this spot instead... Big mistake! P.S. We give tips to every place we go but not here, of course. Waiter needed to be PROMPTED to return our change (at every other place they promptly give change from which we then usually give tips), and even after that took forever to bring out change to us. You've been warned! Don't stop here!

Yelp
Breakfast is OK. Unfortunately some servers are dishonest. We left a backpack by mistake in the morning under a table and in the AM there is not much traffic at all. We contacted the restaurant within 30 minutes and no one saw it. So we lost a GoPro with a lot of memories. Sad experience. We talked several times with the servers and got the feeling they are hiding something. we cannot proof anything....... We will get video from the restaurant across from them Le Compas and hopefully figure out what happened.

Yelp
This place is always packed with the good looking crowd who want to see and be seen. They still allowed me in one day when they had room and the pizza was good, but not spectacular. While I didn't try anything else, the place always smells good and looks good.

Scott A.

Yelp
Service was great. Host (owner?) was very welcoming and attentive. Gave us a nice table for four (me, wife and two teen kids). Appetizers were great - mozzarella and tomato and fried mozzarella for the kids. Mains were ok, not NYC Italian great but given we are in Paris, I was satisfied with it. My pasta dish could have used a bit more seasoning but my wife said hers was done well. My son's burger was a little undercooked, but he still enjoyed it. If you go, you must order the tiramisu - that made the whole meal. While the food could use a little work, we still had a great meal. The space is enjoyable, the service was good and desert sent us home full and satisfied.

Yelp
J'adore Bianco, Je suis Egyptien & whenever i travel to paris, happy hour is here at Bianco- the atmosphere is amazing, the drinks are good & happy hour prices are 2 for 1 so you can't beat that in paris!

Perry T.

Yelp
Along with other users, we don't know how this doesn't have near 5 stars. My wife and I were in from the US and needed a good late night dinner and this was perfect!

Yelp
I ordered a pawn pasta here, it was not very tasty, the presentation was bad as well. But the staff here was very friendly, service was also fast.
google avatar

Faby P.

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick drink while waiting for a friend. As with most places in Paris, seating is tight, crammed and smoky, but the people watching is amazing and makes you feel very "local." Service was great, our server barely spoke English but tried like a champ and was so sweet. He recommended their cocktail of the day and a cool new beer I've never had.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
Again we hit a zero on our first choice for dining tonight so thanks to Yelp we found the next best place at Bianco. The food at Bianco was really tasty - so I want to set that record straight. The service, well a bit of an attitude with the servers but nothing you can't get beyond. We had Carpaccio. pasta and veal and all dishes were good. And the pump sprayer for the olive oil and balsamic vinegar was something special for sure.
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Seems like a cool place. Quite a few locals here. Unfortunately, had a negative experience. First wifi didn't work and temperature was off. Beer was served a bit cooler than room temperature and food was served a bit warmer than room temperature. I had the burger and fries which was mediocre and fries were soggy and warm.
google avatar

Khaloud D.

Yelp
One of the best place to hang out in Paris in hype, fashionable street!
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
We kept them open late and they served us an amazing pizza and a half bottle of wine. Food was great. Service fast. Not sure why it wasnt busier.

John S.

Yelp
Nice location and the decor is flashy. We had the Sunday brunch. The food was okay, at best.

Diane S.

Yelp
This a a place for drinks only. Although they don't know what a vodka soda is. They up charged us for our salads. We ordered the Caesar but they gave us the Caesar with chicken. Pasta was bland and the pizza was too salty. Worst meal in Paris. Great location though. Love the rest of the places on the same street.
