It seems like a lot of the complaints here are about mixed drinks.
But I didn't have that problem as I love Parisian wine, and I found the food to be quite delicious.
The first night of our trip to Paris, we wandered up and down the street and settled at an outside seat here. While it was a bit too close to the couple next to us (we saw them happy, angry, their moods going up and down; slightly discomforting) it was still a decent spot for people watching, otherwise.
We started out with the appetizer trio - a mix of Italian charcuterie, cheeses (including fried cheeses), cheeses on bread, more bread, and veggies. It said it was for '2-3 people' and the waiter didn't seem surprised when we ordered it and a pizza (bc we are American?;) but when it came it was HUGE! It could easily serve 6+ people, but it was delicious, and gave us something to snack on the next day. ;)
We also ordered, that first night, a pizza with olives, olive tapenade, and I believe brie. My husband was in heaven with this pizza ;) It was good, I'll admit. Sorry that I don't recall the name.
A few days later (Sunday) we'd walked a ton and went back to our apartment to rest - but woke up super hungry (of course!)
It was after 11:00 PM but thankfully Bianco was still open (albeit much quieter than the prior night) and I was happy to go back and order another pizza that looked interesting to me - the Parma Luxe pizza. We were also given fried bread and olives as an appetizer, which hadn't happened the other evening.
(We also sat inside, which was pleasant.)
My husband had the veal parmesan (or escalope de veau) which was delicious. Unfortunately it came with cold pasta which was just strange to us.
My pizza (Tomate, Mozzarella, Chèvre, Gorgonzola, Poire, Jambon de Parme) with pears, cheeses, and parma ham totally hit the spot. I took half home and snacked on it for breakfast the next day - it was still delicious.
I say, if you go to Bianco, don't go for the 'scene' or mixed drinks, go for the food, the very good wine, and if you're lucky, the not-too-crowded atmosphere.
I am definitely a fan.
