a quiet and nicely decorated restaurant — a welcome change compared to other noisy and crowded pizzerias in the area. There’s usually space to sit, and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. However, when it comes to the food, I found it disappointing. The portions are quite small for the price, and many dishes felt like they were missing key ingredients. The seafood pasta, for instance, had very little seafood. The pasta with potatoes and bacon had barely any bacon, and the meatballs were mostly bread with very little actual meat. Overall, it’s not a bad place — the quality is decent — but it feels like they’re cutting corners. It’s good, but not memorable, and I wouldn’t go back. The value just isn’t there.

Lovely little find. Very authentic but a little more sophisticated and upscale from other places. Also more expensive. We rarely paid more than €45 for 2people whilst this was €62 We shared the Genoves (best so far), which was honestly incredible. My boyfriend had the pasta patate, which he loved, but I thought was a bit too heavy and missing some freshness. The meatball was delicious whilst the vegetables were to bitter for us. The recommended wine was so far our least favourite. Overall still another great and delicious restaurant. I would go back for the genovese carne which was 5 stars!!! We didn’t book a table, but we were lucky to walk in and find a table for two. This restaurant serves authentic Naples-style cuisine, and you can truly appreciate the dedication and attention to detail from the chef. I enjoyed my pasta with anchovies and olive oil, complemented by black and green olives, while my husband loved the Neapolitan genovese. While we found all the dishes to be a bit on the salty side, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!

Wonderful restaurant with very lowkey decor and friendly service. We didn’t have a booking, they were friendly and let us sit down and wait for a while near the entrance until they a spare table for us to dine. Pretty small restaurant and menu may seem somewhat small but honestly everything was perfect -highly recommend the zucchini pasta as well as the meatballs which are very light, but really you can’t go wrong. Imogen says “the courgette pasta was sublime, the meatballs either side of potatoes and peppers were extremely tasty. Portions on the smaller side.”

A very nice little restaurant of Via Toledo that is kind of it’s own little world. It’s quiet and quite atmospheric inside. The staff is very friendly and easygoing. I had a three-course meal that was just filling enough. Everything was really fresh and delicious. The dishes were simple, but had been perfected—the spaghetti, savory pastry, and cheesecake with fruit were all delectable! I definitely recommend this spot if you’re thinking of eating along Via Toledo. It’s one of the higher quality restaurants in the area that also doesn’t price-gouge tourists.

What can I say… On an Italian holiday, when you’re out exploring the city, doing a bit of shopping and craving a blend of modern yet traditional cuisine, we were so fortunate enough to stumble upon this restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service impeccable, and it left us with the best memories; delicious food and a wonderful experience.
