Biancomangiare - Cucina tipica napoletana Trattoria Osteria Napoli

This place literally took our breath away away. The food was amazing but do not try to come without reservation. The wine was one of the greatest we have had on our entire trip. I had the pasta with braised pork and onion ragout, which was to die for!

The stuff was very welcoming and attended. I am vegetarian and my boyfriend is not, so they helped us pick the plates to share. Bell pepper with olives, parmigiano eggplant (vegetarian version). We also had the pumpkin and mushroom soup and some pasta with meat and peas. Everything was delicious.

Very pleasant modern eatery using traditional local ingredients with a young twist.

We didn’t book a table, but we were lucky to walk in and find a table for two. This restaurant serves authentic Naples-style cuisine, and you can truly appreciate the dedication and attention to detail from the chef. I enjoyed my pasta with anchovies and olive oil, complemented by black and green olives, while my husband loved the Neapolitan genovese. While we found all the dishes to be a bit on the salty side, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!

Wonderful restaurant with very lowkey decor and friendly service. We didn’t have a booking, they were friendly and let us sit down and wait for a while near the entrance until they a spare table for us to dine. Pretty small restaurant and menu may seem somewhat small but honestly everything was perfect -highly recommend the zucchini pasta as well as the meatballs which are very light, but really you can’t go wrong. Imogen says “the courgette pasta was sublime, the meatballs either side of potatoes and peppers were extremely tasty. Portions on the smaller side.”

A very nice little restaurant of Via Toledo that is kind of it’s own little world. It’s quiet and quite atmospheric inside. The staff is very friendly and easygoing. I had a three-course meal that was just filling enough. Everything was really fresh and delicious. The dishes were simple, but had been perfected—the spaghetti, savory pastry, and cheesecake with fruit were all delectable! I definitely recommend this spot if you’re thinking of eating along Via Toledo. It’s one of the higher quality restaurants in the area that also doesn’t price-gouge tourists.

Very good Napolitano food, fresh and tasty. The service was very good and professional. Ŵill return in the future!

Lucky enough to arrive early on a Saturday and they were able to find us a table before the people who reserved it came. Great menu, lots of local stuff that is far above the usual. Ate ziti with an excellent Genovese onion topping, seared tuna, shrimp carpaccio and a very flavorful squash and mushroom soup. Tried the biancomangiare of their namesake and the highlight was the plum sauce. In a sea of tourist-oriented places, this was foreigner-friendly but creative and thoughtful.
