Google
Fours all across the board. Food was decent, could be better. I feel like they specialize in their pizza and dough offered products and that their pastas were just very mediocre. We weren't unhappy at all just an honest opinion. I would definitely go back, so nothing to complain about. Service was good. Atmosphere was a little bit loud and busy but I guess it is what is to be expected being as it is in the middle of a shopping center with other bars, restaurants and stores around. All and all it was good.

Google
Wonderful Lobster Raviolli, spaghetti with meatballs was good. Small dining area, only restroom was out in shopping center. Very hard to find within the shopping area due to lack of signage.

Google
Always a great meal, fresh ingredients and delicious! Our waitress was awesome. They need a dedicated front person.

Google
Absolutely best!! 10 out of 10 the crusts are to die for. We loved it so much we visited twice. We had the bbq pizza first time and a calzone the second time. Both were delicious! Only thing I didn’t like was their water and sodas.

Jim Caruso

Google
Not sure why anyone would give a bad review. The service and atmosphere were great. We had a lasagna pizza. That's a first! And it was fantastic. So big we had leftovers for lunch the next day. I don't usually order thick crust but this was amazing... Like a good crusty roll. Crusty outside with a soft, chewy inside. Just needed some olive oil to dip it in. A great find for our vacation.

Google
Great pizza place. We've been coming here when we visit the Big Island since 2013, and it has always been excellent. On this trip we had the Greek salad and white pizza (sorry, I forgot the name), that was delicious with medium intensity flavors perfectly blended with a crisp thin crust that made it hard to save some for another day.

Google
Prices went up ridiculously. Everything about this place went downhill terribly. Ordered a pizza, when next door to grab a drink, came back a half hour later and they said it was just being put in the oven. Almost ordered a Greek salad ($18) then saw it was just a salad from the grocery store KTA next door. Wanted to order garlic bread too ($18) and it’s just Safeway frozen garlic bread. Can’t believe the gimmick they try pulling over on people here. Tried to call in a few times to pre-order but nobody answered (thought they weee busy) went there and the girl taking orders said there’s “nobody to answer the phones today” yet the place was dead. This place is complete garbage now, especially with the price hike, don’t even waste your time. Canceled the order and went to Kona Krust. Such a good decision…The pizza there was outstanding. Got the Sicilian (closest to Detroit style) and garlic knots. Sauce is amazing and was not disappointed. Being from Detroit originally and constantly disappointed with pizza in town, Kona Krust was a pleasant surprise!

Google
One of the best gluten free pizzas ever. The owner talked to us about ingredients sourced and our party felt totally at home for lunch. Great local beer selections as well.Highly recommend!

Yelp
Family visiting from Texas. We eat pizza at least once on every vacation. We were so fortunate to find Bianellis and it was just 5 minutes from our Wyndham resort The restaurant is a beautiful location at night. The staff were super friendly and helpful with the menu. My daughter's boyfriend and I both started with the Dragonfruit Lemonade Cider by Ola Beer Company. It had a beautiful color and a wonderful flavor. I'm a regular cider drinker and this rates very high on my list of favorite ciders. We ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the deep dish Lasagne Pizza. Both were beautifully cooked. The crust on both pizzas was ann my amazing and the flavors were exceptional. We all agreed the Lasagna Pizza was our favorite though. The Ricotta cheese was unexpected and truly made this pizza. It's a pizza that everyone deserves to experience. Bianellis is definitely on 'My Keepers List'.

Yelp
It's sad when you see a restaurant that you have been supporting for decades go downhill. My mother ordered the lasagna and I wish I had taken a picture. It was a small plate of sauce, one noodle, more sauce, and cheese on it. I've never seen a one layer lasagna. We've ordered it many times over the years and it used to be awesome. Gave them an extra star because I ordered the meatball sub and it was tasty. Their sauces have good flavor. Overall, no where near worth the price, and be aware that rather then pay their employees more, they add a 5% surcharge on all orders "just because."

Yelp
Due to it being iron man weekend restaurant is half full, but food took 30 mins to come out. Ordered the garlic cheese bread it was not good. The marinara for it was cold. I did like the pesto bread. Order the chicken parm for the price was not worth it, the chicken wasn't crispy, it was chewy with cheese on top with only a little bit of spaghetti. The lobster ravioli was okay, it did not taste like lobster but it had shrimp on top which was okay. Ordered the mushroom pasta and it came with a creamy wine sauce. It was OVERKILL with wine. We could not enjoy the pasta at all. It taste like alcohol. Manager only offered to change it but it'll be over 25 mins for it to come out. Which is silly when we would all be finished by the time we would receive something different. We declined, we did not eat the pasta at all. Manager said they will take off 40% from the pasta. The server was really trynna advocate for him to remove it off the bill. It's disappointing he did not remove it off the bill. When paying for our bill they did not discount it at all. We asked for an itimized receipt and server apologize and they ended up refunding us the 40% they originally promised. This was my worst experience here, and I've grown up eating here all the time. Super super disappointed. Update: Due to response of management. You offer a substitute and told us it'll be over 25 mins to receive. We tried to eat it because it was recommended to eat it with Alfredo sauce to kill out the wine taste so the server brought a side of a different sauce to mix and we tried it and did not like it at all. The wine taste was STRONG. All pasta was suppose to receive a bread this pasta did not even receive bread. We have photos to prove, we barely touched the plate. Thank you for nothing. Cudos for the server for trying to accommodate she felt bad her management didn't feel to remove the item off our bill. This is my TRUE experience there, it's crazy management is claiming I'm making this up. This deserves a huge rant due to poor management.

Yelp
Bufala pizza was delicious! We did the cauliflower crust and as someone who isn't gluten free I was still super pleased with the pizza. Service was efficient and nice, friendly wait staff! Good vibes

A G.

Yelp
Although the food was amazing, I'm not quite sure about the wait time. There were four other tables waiting when we arrived on a Friday afternoon but we ended up waiting 45 minutes until our food came out. We ordered a spaghetti with pink sauce and a Bianellis Pizza with a deep dish crust. The spaghetti was delicious and so was the pizza. However I wouldn't pay extra for the deep dish crust. The pizza came out as double crust with the middle portion sunk in. I would give this place a second try if ever I came back to Hawaii. The food was delicious and service was great.

Yelp
Bianelli's Kona is one of mine and my husband's favorite eating spots to stop at every time we're in Kona! We remember the first time traveling there and having dinner, to the time just after we got married, and now getting to dine here with our kids! Needless to say, this will always be a favorite stop for us. The service is fast and friendly, the menu is simple and delicious, and the ambiance is nice and casual. This time around, we all shared the Greek salad. Our son ordered a small cheese pizza (they don't have a kids menu, I guess). We also had the lasagna with pink sauce and the lobster ravioli with garlic butter. The entrees came with giant, delicious pieces of garlic bread! Everything was so good, we even had leftovers for the next night. As long as their around, we'll keep coming to Bianelli's whenever we're in Kona!

Sajani J.

Yelp
Came here because I really wanted pasta. Thrilled to see they had pink sauce, but it tasted a bit weird when I got it and then I noticed there were mushrooms in it (pink sauce usually doesn't have mushrooms, so didn't think to ask) which was alarming to us since one of our family members is allergic. Their pink sauce is a mixture of marinara and their white wine mushroom. Pink sauce is usually marinara with heavy cream or Alfredo. Their pizza crust was delicious. Their pizza is that the type of pizza that all the toppings fall off when you pick it up, so you either have to eat it with a fork or fold it in half to keep the toppings in the crust. They also charge a 5% fee to help cover the cost of rising costs.

Javy L.

Yelp
It was alright. Wifey and I are locals, so we like to support local businesses. But the pizza was mid at best. The crust was strangely crumbly. We ordered two pies, ate a couple pieces and saved some for the next day. When we reheated them, they flopped and crumbled apart. Oh well... The pesto bread was good though! And the pasta w/ pick your 3 sauces was also good. Would we try again? Yes we would. But we'd probably try other options first. But give em a try and see for yourself. ChEeHuU!

Yelp
Food - 3.5 stars Service - 1 star Order was wrong and they didn't give us one item. No receipt because the person picking up the order paid cash and didn't think he needed one so he couldn't even return the next day to get a refund. Time for the order to be prepared was about 30 minutes, so pretty standard for a non-chain pizza place. Ordered a Greek salad, two pizzas, one with pineapple. Specifically asked if the pineapple could be omitted, was told yes but there it was in the pizza... Most locals don't do pineapple on our pizza, so this was a let down. Had to pick off the pineapple. (Don't get me wrong, we LOVE pineapple, but fresh and not in a pizza. It's just our way). Pizzas were decent, good crust. Lobster ravioli was expensive but the ravioli was topped with shrimp and while we couldn't taste the lobster very well, it was ok. Greek Salad-what Greek salad? It was missing from the order. Yes the person picking up should have checked, but the salad should have been with the order anyway. So basically we got shorted. No one wanted to drive back to get the salad and this place does not deliver so we were out a salad. Probably won't return here.

James D.

Yelp
Ordered Fettuccine Alfredo for pick up & 1/2 a Chef Salad as well. Added artichoke and shrimp to Fettuccini Alfredo. Up charged $5 for two artichoke slivers. The pasta tasted like chalk. No flavor at all, burnt on bottom. Sauce was terrible. The shrimp were uneatable. Shrimp Burnt on one side and seemed old or spoiled. The cook (chef not justified) obviously never tastes the food. Horrible. And over $45, bread was chewy. 1/2 Salad was fine but dressing was tasteless.

Jim A.

Yelp
Got food to. My food was a 2-star. Service was 4-5 star. My nitpicking of the beer temp brought it down to 2. Tried a few different draft beers and all were way too warm. Beer in the United States needs to be cold, not barely chilled. When you are paying $9-12 for a pint...serve it REALLY COLD. Easy fix but disappointing in the moment. Simple spaghetti meatballs with marinara, except hardly any marinara. Meatballs dry. Guys, jeez do better or close. $23 for this?! I could have bought a frozen Stouffers meal and it would have tasted better. And next time I will.

Yelp
Order two pizzas one sausage Requested thin crust and this establishment was able to accommodate my request and did a very good job. Did not know what to expect with the pizza reading other reviews, but I found the pizza where the and flavorful. Restaurant was very busy so I couldn't anticipate any more attention than I got from the staff as I was taking the pizza to go.. Outside patio seems nice inside dining seems very casual relaxed. Price was moderate, but what do you expect in Hawaii. Give it a try and go on your own opinion. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Karen B.

Yelp
While the service was friendly and the ambiance fine, the food was really disappointing. I ordered the lasagna because of positive reviews, but it was awful. Tomato sauce tasted like it was out of a jar and old, and the noodles amounted to just one. The rest was salty cheese with a smattering of low quality ricotta and random small balls of beef. My husband had the pizza. He says the marinara tasted like it was past due date. The crust was worse than fast food pizza, and the service was slow. Not worth it!

Cheryl Z.

Yelp
I have eaten at this restaurant many times when I lived on island. Always very good. I ordered take out on July 29, 2024. Meatballs were uncooked inside. Pizza was overcooked and very dry. When I texted the restaurant about my order I was confronted by harrassing texts. Owner wanted pictures, I sent pictures. The owner or manager sent 6 more angry texts. He even trolled on my facebook and sent some of my pictures at 11:30 pm. Very creepy. Totally unacceptable. Peace out brother.

Amy C.

Yelp
(April 2023) We ordered to go for what was sadly our last night on the Big Island. We opted for take out from a pizza place in a nearby shopping center. The food was amazingly very good! The place had subdued lighting and appeared very clean. The reason for the 2 stars missing is that they forgot our drinks plus the dressing for the salad. Hubby did go back to get the missing items but no apology or comps. That is poor customer service for not fulfilling our to go order 100% and inconveniencing us to return for items that were overlooked! The food is rated 5 stars and customer service is 1 star for an average of 3 stars.

Yelp
If haven't heard by now, there are new owners. For lots of old regulars, they don't like new. This has led to some furious reviews. As with anything new, there will be some growing pains, some getting used to. I immediately noticed when we walked in the ambiance was completely different. No more old school Sinatra music and pictures of musicians on the wall. The interior is now black. Black walls, black tablecloths (no more red and whites), and everyone wearing aloha uniforms. For me, the food hasn't changed that much from the previous owners. I think they have kept it pretty much the same. I would have to go back and compare menu prices, but I have a feeling costs are a little higher. I believe they are going for a step higher than the old restaurant in terms of ambiance and service. They are using all new plating and silverware, even the water jugs have gotten upgrades. Surprisingly, the drink cups have shrank to half size. Your water cups are now the same size as the kiddie cups. That may be good for long term waste of water, but it also means double the trips of staff needing to walk around and refill. I must add that with the new plates, the plating does looks better than before. This isn't hard to do, when everything was Pizza Hut plastic before, but it definitely was presented better now. Speaking of staff. When we went, they were clearly and extraordinarily understaffed. This was made clear when we sat down. There was one waitress taking care of the whole place. And the waitress is actually one of the owners. She was good, but severely overwhelmed. The greeter was also very very green, so there were things that were making her a little overwhelmed as well. I sincerely hope they get some staff hired and trained, to alleviate some of that pressure on the owner. Once they get used to running it, I think it will be as smooth as it ever was. Hopefully everyone who has sworn them off will come back and give it another shot. I know we will in a few months. Hopefully everything will be well oiled by then.

Donn D.

Yelp
M'eh. That about sums up the experience but I'll extrapolate for you. There were six or seven people standing around the kitchen when we walked into an otherwise empty restaurant. There were no other customers there when we walked in. After clearly seeing us, they all ignored us completely for about ten minutes. Just as we were about to walk out a server asked if we wanted a table. The pizza wasn't cheap, but it certainly didn't taste as good as the prices suggest it should. We took home several pieces but probably won't eat them, and we certainly wouldn't be going back for more. The cheesy garlic bread was pretty good though so they do have that going for them. The music was super special however, as overhead we had Madonna singing la Isla Bonita while from the kitchen the Beastie Boys were rocking out the Brass Monkey. After this it became less amusing as the hour wore on with music from the overhead speakers competing with swing, then rock then thrash coming from the kitchen. I'm not sure who was running the radio in the kitchen but they should only run one playlist at a time in their restaurant as it's a real turn off having such a little thing like multiple competing radios screw up the ambience during a meal.

Rachel B.

Yelp
Everything is so good and I mean all of it. It's a drive for us, but when we are in town I definitely make the trip to bring home for dinner. Meatball sub was amazing as was everything else. Worth the price.

Karine K.

Yelp
Great location, nice people. I wish they knew how to make pizza! It takes the same amount of time and effort ti make a good pizza. They didn't get any close to a good or even decent pizza, unfortunately.

Kari L.

Yelp
Staying near by and wanted to stay in for dinner. Found this pizza place on Yelp. Ordered online which was easy. One hour to pick up, not a big deal for us. A little hard to find when I used Apple Maps. Wandered through the shopping center, but it is right next to KTA grocery store entrance. The place was pretty busy with indoor and outdoor seating. Pizza was very good. One combo and one pepperoni. Good crust. Nice flavor. They have ranch if you ask. Hit the spot for us! I would order again if I needed pizza.

Jason C.

Yelp
Service - ordered take out in person. Person taking order took phone orders prior to taking in person orders, even after the phone calls were answered after the people in line. No Bueno IMO. Chef handling the pizza peel spaced out. I was watching the entire time. Waited 48 minutes for our 1 large pizza. The place was not busy. Counted at least 10 staff onsite. Food - tatsy, but see pics. Price - it's Hawaii! Fair overall. Like the other reviews, worst experience I've had in Hawaii in nearly 2 weeks. Bummer. Was hoping it was going to be worth the wait and stop.

Ryan H.

Yelp
Most disappointing Pizza. $37 (including tax) for a Large standard ingredients pizza! 1/2 pineapple and Canadian bacon. Other half meatball and CB. price would gave been ok but There was barely any topping on it at all and half the cheese every other pizzeria uses. The meatball topping was granular and tasted like sawdust was used as a filler. Lots of it! There were 4 paper thin slices of Canadian Bacon on the entire half of a large pizza. Many much better pizza options in Kona.

Tiffany G.

Yelp
The service and food was a amazing. Tommy was so nice and helpful. There was 4 our us in my party. We all loved our food. I had the lobster raviolis with pink sauce. Definitely recommend this and the pesto bread.

Stacie S.

Yelp
In one word, AVOID! Pricy. We stopped for lunch at about12:30 and thought they were closed as no one was there. We should have left then. We were seated near counter and overheard comments of surprise that we wanted to be seated. Marinara spaghetti PLUS $5 for EACH additional item A tablespoon of mushrooms and garlic made dish $35. Food was average. Service was minimal to rude. There was mold in the seam of plastic glass, told it was fine and just part of the drink- Really?? Ambiance - dark hues, uninviting. We were in mood for italian or we would have never gone in.. Expensive lesson not to be repeated. Owner response was that we ordered off menu , knowing prices-absolutely true but my review is to educate others to save you the time and money we wasted.

Wendy P.

Yelp
Why haven't we tried this earlier!!! Excellent service. Outstanding food. Shawn took very good care of us. 3 of us shared the lasagna pizza and had half left. The other one had the Alfredo with shrimp. Ate every bite and would have licked the plate if it was not uncouth. We will be back!

Myra H.

Yelp
It's hard to find much good to say about this place other than the wait staff are hard working. The ambiance is noisy strip mall outside and glaring lights inside. Our food took almost an hour to appear. The wine was wretched. The spaghetti sauce was like water. The meatballs were tasteless. The calzone was mostly cheese. I can't think of any reason to return.

Kamaka C.

Yelp
I are here about a year ago. The restaurant had changed management. The atmosphere was crisp and clean and the new owner was hustling to make sure everyone was taken care of. At that time the pasta with meatballs and pizza were very good. Unfortunately it seems that things have changed. I have gone 3 times in the past 4 months and have been disappointed with the food each time. The pasta has been watery and the meatballs were dense and rubbery. I haven't tried the pizza recently so that may still be good. It is a shame because we were very excited to eat there for a while. It looks like I will be cooking my own pasta dinners from now on.

Sydney O.

Yelp
Waitress discouraged us from ordering pizza as kitchen staff was overwhelmed. However, customers that were seated after us received pizza in a timely manner?? Following our server's advice, we ordered sandwiches instead. My meatball sub was so garlicky, I was unable to finish it. And I like garlic.

Shauna B.

Yelp
Our food was great and our service was great too! They were short staffed, but their staff did a great job!

Tomomi S.

Yelp
I tried many pizza places on the Kona side and this place has been our go to pizza. I love their sauce, and they're always generous with toppings. It does get busy at dinner time as most of the pizza places do, so come a bit earlier, or take out if you don't want to wait. We took out and pizza was as good as eating in the restaurant. Our favorite is Bianelli Combo pizza. Medium is more than enough for 2 to eat, and take leftover home for later! We tried deep dish but I'd stick to the regular crust. Always nice and friendly service, open and casual atmosphere. Just bring your appetite after a day in the sun.

Connie S.

Yelp
Had the potential to be a great pizza. We got it to go, soggy crust. Sad. First time there. We will try somewhere else next time.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
We arrived at 7:30pm with a little line but quickly seated. We ordered a 16" pizza, a spaghetti with meatballs (1/2 order) and a GF Pepperoni pizza . My husband received his spaghetti at 8:20...At 8:25 (almost an hour since we walked in...we were approached by the waitress and stated they lost our pizza ticket so none of the pizzas had been made. She assured us it would only be another 10 minutes. During our wait we noticed the 2 tables full of people had already gotten their orders and were getting their checks. Right at the 10 minute mark..out they came..WOW!! They're gorgeous! They tasted amazing! They were hot and fresh! We were comp'd half off because of their error which is greatly appreciated. We will still recommend this place and understand accidents do happen. And with the dinner rush, its understandable if one order out of a packed house was lost. It just happened to be ours. Thanks guys!

John D.

Yelp
Soggy and nasty waste of money. The pizza crust is super soggy and nasty. Sauce was flavorless. Calzone was completely soaking wet and the toppings fell right through the bottom, while the outside was dry. Called to see how long the wait was they answered put me on hold and never came back and to the phone. We just drove down and on a weeknight still took an hour to get our food... Ton of other options around! Pick something else!!! You are in Hawaii eat something other than pizza, especially pizza that is poorly done. RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! 7 OTHER RESTAURANTS IN IMMEDIATE AREA.

Jacob T.

Yelp
Great calzones , Italian Salad and pasta with pink sauce and mushrooms/sausage. Our favorite Italian restaurant in Kona

Gary F.

Yelp
This place has greatly improved since they got new owners a while back. The interior and exterior have been re-vamped and they have added some new menu items. Every time I go it seems like there is some new improvement. But most importantly, between the new menu items, and the improved preparation of the old menu items - the food is greatly improved as well. The owners and the staff are friendly. They are even friendly to my dog, who they let tag along. Really glad to have a great Italian food option in Kona.

Tina S.

Yelp
Just a quick update. Last month when back in Kona we went back to Bianelli's as we usually go once per visit. Sadly we felt the pizza dough had changed, and it wasn't good. We love supporting the local business and hope things go back to the way it used to be. The salad was very delicious and fresh. The service was good and we like the local feel.

Tim H.

Yelp
If I could I would give this 0 stars ! This was the worst experience my wife and I have ever had. We arrived made our order and got our drink to start. It took over a hour for anyone to come back and check if we needed another drink or anything else. Our food which consisted of a pizza, salad and pasta came out over a hour and twenty minutes later. The pizza was warm at best and the pasta was ice cold in the center. Not to mention after hunting a waitress down just to let them know and be able to leave we didn't even get the salad.

Jamie V.

Yelp
Great pizza and location. Found this spot after a long day of snorkeling and pizza hit the spot. We tried the lasagna pizza and calzone! Loved the calzone.

Leslie A.

Yelp
I called in a rather large order at about 1:45pm yesterday. 3 pastas and 2 large pizzas. I didn't know they close from 2pm-4pm to get ready and change over to dinner. The person taking my order could have easily said no, it was too close to closing but she did not. When I got there about 2:10pm to pick it up is when I realized they were closed. The doors were locked. But someone was there immediately to unlock and let me in. She allowed me to pay and took the time to have me check to make sure everything was perfect. The food wasn't rushed and didn't disappoint. The pastas are amazing but my all time favorite is the Bufala pizza. The crust is amazing. Everyone was beyond happy with their food. I would have taken some pictures but we were too busy scarfing down.

Aaron E.

Yelp
Cheese pizza for our small children took almost an hour. It came out overcooked/burned but we had waited so long there was no point in sending it back, the kids would have just fallen apart. The server seemed overworked too, I don't blame her that the restaurant is understaffed, but the end result was she was spread thin and the service was weak.

Kona B.

Yelp
Perfect place for a delicious meal! We're a little stuck in our ways it's always a big Greek salad and the Bianelli special combo pizza. It's so good that we always get large so we have leftovers to enjoy either a little later in the day or the next day! The owners are awesome and the staff is always friendly and nice and customer oriented. The ambiance is pleasant enough especially once you take in the aroma of all the pizza and all the other wonderful things being cooked. Five stars for pizza in the Kona area. Sometimes there's nothing else that will satisfy your hunger than a great pie from nice people and a nice restaurant that focuses on quality food!

Stacey N.

Yelp
Everything except macnut canoli were great. Had deep dish Bianellis combo pizza, gourmet garlic pizza, fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti & meatballs. The crust on the combo was a bit large on the rim of the pizza. Feel ripped off when they leave so much of the pizza without toppings. Flavor though, of pizzas & pastas was delicious. The shell of the canoli was nice and crunchy but the filling was mushy, watered down, and tasteless! It was terrible. We expected a creamy and sweet filling. Pineapple topping was good.

Jeremy B.

Yelp
This was by far the worse experience I have had for being in Hawaii for my first time. We sat there and waited for almost an hour to get our food and we had received a pizza before our pasta which was absolutely ridiculous. I will honestly say that I will never recommend this place to anyone and should have picked the first spot we walked past. This place has absolutely no communication skills at all and need to work on their people skills! I'm surprised they don't have a 3 star or below rating after what we had gone through tonight and watched other people go through as well. They also don't have just one waitress per section, they all jump in where they can to help which is not right for them or the customers. Bar rescue needs to make a much needed trip to save this place

Evin C.

Yelp
Lunch take out: Very large delicious chef salad and garlic cheese bread with the best marinara sauce! Very good! I'm picky.

Jeanie C.

Yelp
The crust needs work (bland and not as soft and chewy like Im used to) but their pizzas were not bad/pretty decent. We especially loved the garlic one and hawaiian. Their "deep dish" isnt quite Chicago-style deep dish but it was ok. Toppings are generous. I also really enjoyed the spaghetti and side of meatballs but the pasta itself couldve been more "al dente". We were quoted 25 min but ended up having to wait another 20 min when we got there. Solid pizza joint for Kona.

None B.

Yelp
I have to agree with the other one-star reviews - I would only recommend this restaurant if there were no other options available. Not no other restaurants, I mean including finding fruit hanging from a tree. I have worked in the restaurant business in every role from busboy to general manager in every level from Michelin in NY to dive bars in one-horse towns and the attitude of this owner is amazing to me. Let me sum up my experience from one of several poor interactions. I ordered a beverage which I had been drinking for the past two weeks. Upon receiving it I noticed it had obvious mold floating in the drink. When I pointed it out the reaction was "that's part of the unfiltered beverage". No, no it's not. It wasn't in any of the previous times I had it and it hasn't been in a single one since. He brought back the drink and said "let me know if this is filtered enough for you" I took two sips and realized immediately that all he had done was rinse the glass as the drink tasted like mold and grime. Don't be bullied by the owners replies. Just avoid at all costs.

Yelp
One of the best pizza places ever (in my opinion) they have very good customer service and very good seasoning.

Yelp
The service was great. Had the meatballs, they were delicious and a great presentation. Friend thought the Lobster ravioli was great as well.

Yelp
We ordered a thin crust pizza to go, was given a time and arrived perhaps 5 minutes early. The clerk stated that we were told the specific time and were instructed to wait, inside or out. We chose outside as it was cooler outside than in. We waited the ~ 5 minutes for the specific time we were given to pick it up and went inside to get the pizza. We were then told it would be at least 10 more minutes. After waiting more than 10 minutes, we received a text stating that it was ready. We got it home, maybe 5 minutes away and the pizza was still warm. We put pieces on plates and then began to eat. We were disappointed not only with the taste as most of the ingredients were put into the center and not completely cooked which made the crust very soft and chewy. Only the outside edge of the crust appeared to be cooked completely enough. We found that we couldn't hold a slice in your hand and had to fold it over to eat. Or use a fork and knife, which I did.
