Wow, what an amazing family that all supports one another and works very hard. I'm traveling alone and on a budget, Biang and her husband made me feel like one of their children, I became very ill for part of my stay and they did everything possible to make sure I was doing okay and safe. Such a great feeling when your so far away from home and in need of some care. The location is great 3 min on bike to Main Street or a 5 minute walk. Not the cleanest but the little mini houses you stay in makes it all worth it. Great place to stay for a couple nights or long durations. Great people, awesome location and affordable accommodation! So much gratitude for this family!

Biang's HS is a traditional Balinese complex with several little houses situated in a beautiful garden setting. It is rather quiet as it is away from the street, but the neighbors' chickens made sure we didn't sleep until noon. ||We ended up staying for quite a while and really loved it. The garden and the houses are beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Every house consists of one room, a bathroom and a terrace, all of which vary in size. The rooms and bathrooms are not the fanciest as there is no A/C and the gap between walls and roof allows animals to come inside (we were blessed with gecko's and cockroaches). However, we found this to be normal in the more traditional homestays and didn't have a problem with it.||If you're looking for a affordable, relaxing and traditional place to stay in Ubud I would definitely recommend Biang's homestay. They also offer motorbikes (scooter) for rental. I really miss the paradisaical garden (and the cats) and would love to come back anytime!!

This is an awesome place. I stayed there 2 years ago,and I still remember it as it is the BEST place to stay in Ubud. The family is so nice, very welcoming, they paid attention to what I like / or not. I travelled alone and I felt very safe there, like a second home for me. I even changed my travelling plan to stay longer there. The day I check out, my fly was late in the middle of the night. They let me store my bagage for the day and even offered me to use their own shower ....that showed how generous people they are !! ||||It is a very good deal for bed & breakfast : and the banana pancake is awesome.||||The family is very generous as they are helping young balinese with their education. There is always 1or 2 balinese students helping them with the service/ watering garden and in exchange they gave us free accomodation to be able to study in good condition.||||The bungalows are clean with hot water, very peaceful as it is in their backyard.||||Very good place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ubud||||I travelled in so many differents countries and always looking for a next country to discover...but if I have to choose one destination to go back to : that will be this place !!!

I feel I am home when I stayed in Biang's homestay. Wonderful room, Quiet, and I love rooster alarm to wake me up. Biang's family are very warm and nice. Homestay is very clean because Biang's family always cleaning twice a day and they also love gardening. They plant beautiful orchids. Not only rent room, Biang also rent us some kitchen stuff to cook, and help us if we need something. Thank you Biang's family! Your homestay is very recomended!

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel then go elsewhere but if you want an authentic Indonesian homestay adventure then this is the place to stay! The location is amazing (close to nice food, a good pub and far enough away from the city for some peace and quiet). The brekkie was DELISH and the people there were warm and made you feel at home!!! I can't wait for another visit!!!!

I hate to say it because Biang was so nice and the compound is in good shape but our room and bathroom were disgusting. We stayed in the largest Bungalow on this traditional homestay which would have normally been the place where the elders slept. The room was large but with cobwebs in every corner and a dusty floor we were unimpressed. The cat could be seen walking in the eaves as we lay in bed and then there was the bathroom... The sink and faucet were covered with so much grime including toothpaste and there was a previous Guest's razor sitting on the tub. If you're in town I'd say perhaps inspect a room but I wouldn't recommend to book "sight unseen".

Really nice homestay. The room was so clean, the garden really cute and the breakfast very enjoyable. Good atmophere, owners extremely nice and helpful. Not too far from all the activities of the city for those who dont mind to walk. One of the nicest homestays in SEA!

Stayed here in 2012 for many months. We had a bunch of cats and it was lovely here - paradise gardens! If you don't mind living with nature to some degree and everything that comes with it.
