Bibimbox Korean Kitchen & Wings

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! We ordered the Original Bibimbap bowl and soy and garlic wings, as well as hibachi chicken. Everything was delicious, and the service was very quick and friendly. They were very helpful in helping us know what was good to order! I can’t wait to go back and try dessert sometime! They have a large selection of special beverages and desserts too. The atmosphere was fresh, modern and clean.

The wee lass needed a guitar so the Mrs. planned an outing to the big city guitar store. Me and the middle lass were not to interested but since our time was being occupied watching fake martial arts masters getting beat senseless on YouTube we didnt have much defense. An hour and a half later we arrived. Since I'm not too musical the store was about as interesting to me as a yarn store. Guitar in hand, westarted to the car. You can guess what happen next... "Pa, we're hungry!" Hunger was prompted in part by the proximity of the Korean chicken restraunt. It had a cafeteria ambiance, lots of tables stuffed in the space to maximize seating. Ordering was done only on the kiosk which worked pretty well. They displayed your order number so you could keep track of your spot in line. We got yangnun Korean fried chicken, rose titeokbokki, fries and mozzarellasticks, and taiyaki soft serve for dessert. It was all very flavorful. The titeokbokki had a good amount of spice. A little too much for the wee lass but perfect for the rest of us. The chicken wasn't too spicy. The breading was light and crispy. It was a good mix of sweet and savory. Not a bad stop for food. A little pricier than I expected, but a good experience.

I ordered the vegetable rice bowl and a passion fruit tea. The tea was ready rather quickly and the Rice Bowl took a reasonable amount of time I think it wasn't even 5 minutes. The passion fruit tea was absolutely delightful. The Rice Bowl had flavor great amount of umami and the peanut sauce was very well made. All together a very pleasant experience. The portion size versus the price is quite reasonable and filled me up. I will definitely be back whenever I am in town

I came here for the first time today for my birthday lunch, and I cannot wait to go back! The meal I got was delicious. I got the rice and chicken/steak bowl and my husband got the shrimp/steak bowl. The bowls were very filling and the meat to rice ratio was excellent. I used the yum yum sauce and their hot spicy sauce and it was PERFECT. I will be back again. And again!

Very good! My go to is Bulgogi and my daughter loves the Rose Tteokbokki. The Korean Fried Chicken is crispy with great flavor, just the right amount of spicy kick.

Food was absolutely delicious! Oh and the wingssss! Try the wings and watch your life change! 🥰 The staff was especially friendly and Jojo was so patient upon finding out it was our first time there and gave so many suggestions! We are so happy to have run into this restaurant while on our business trip!

I came here for the first time in Saturday, Aug. 30, and I cannot wait to go back! The meal I got was absolutely amazing. I love a rice and chicken/steak bowl but the one I got here was the best I've ever had. I used the yum yum sauce and their hot spicy sauce and it was PERFECT. I will be back again. And again!

The folks were very kind. The food was dastardly bad. The fried rice was extremely gummy, the “high end” hibachi vegetables were extremely overcooked and overpriced, and they were out of much of the menu options. When we walked into the facility the floor was filthy. It is furnished just as it is…fast food. The portions were enough to feed a family of four, but not tasty at all. The price was exceedingly high for what you receive. I would not recommend this place to the homeless. Y’all know I never give a scathing review, so you must know this experience was awful. I would not even take home the leftovers which says a lot!!!

Bibimbox is a fast casual Korean spot serving up bowls, Korean fried chicken, hibachi, drinks, taiyaki, and more. The setup is modern and cozy with plenty of cool vibes. You can watch them make drinks and desserts while you wait. Order from their self-serve screens, grab any seat you want, and they'll bring the food out when it's ready. Here's what I tried: The Fresh Bowl - White rice, chicken bulgogi, carrots, bean sprouts, mushrooms, corn salsa, sesame ginger, yellow radish, OG Bibimbox sauce, black sesame seeds... and it was delicious. Korean Fried Chicken - Crazy crunchy, hot, and sweet. The breading is the star and worth the trip alone. A few fatty pieces, but overall really good. Ube Ice Cream with Taiyaki - Wild color, unique flavor, and the taiyaki itself was amazing. All in all, Bibimbox delivers a fresh, modern spin on Korean comfort food. Come hungry, get the fried chicken, and save room for dessert, you're gonna leave happy.

I was excited to see Columbia got a new, modern Korean restaurant especially around such a busy area. The inside was very cute and service was very friendly. My food came out fairly quickly after I ordered. I got the spicy pork belly bowl and it came loaded with toppings and sauce. They also offer free miso soup! The bowl wasn't bad, although I'd say overall, it was on the bland side. The pork belly wasn't really spicy and there wasn't much outstanding flavor. I liked all the different veggies, but you definitely need to eat it with sauce. I also got a milk tea with boba and a taiyaki (dessert cafe in the same restaurant). The milk tea was decent, nothing out of the ordinary. However, the taiyaki was too bready and just didn't have the crisp you want from typical taiyaki. None of the food really stood out to me, but I'd still love to come back and try the Korean fried chicken or the tteokboki. Maybe I just got the wrong menu items. They have enough variety where I think it's worth coming to give it a shot!

cute and clean with veggie options (in addition to many options for the omnivores or even carnivores) and a solid matcha latte. i don't often need to go to columbia, but might find an excuse soon just to get the veggie bowl again

Clean, bright space. Convenient location. Tasty food, good portions. Fast & friendly service. They have a dessert station with a sofa seating area. And free miso soup station with every entree purchase. Today had the Ginger Soy Wings (hot and crispy and tasty) as a starter. Original Bibimbox Bowl for entree. Big portions. Comes with a nice spicy sauce on the side that is good in moderation. And pickled daikon. Definitely add that. They also have all kinds of interesting looking desserts, and a cute little sitting area next to the ice cream dessert area but I was too full. Will have to go back.... Also had the grapefruit lemonade which was a bit too sweet for my taste. Perhaps ask for less pumps of syrup for that drink.. Tried this place for the first time at a friend's recommendation and will be back!

We stopped in for something new. I love Korean food and this is a welcome addition to the area. Adding ice cream to the mix is a great idea. They have many options to pick and choose, so that you can create a multitude of flavors combinations. We had to try all of the ice creams and each one was great. The staff is cool and friendly. Best of all, my kids had a great time.

A cute place to grab a bite to eat. Food was freshly made and well seasoned. It didn't take too long for it to come out. The place was busy but the staff were friendly. Everything was delicious. A little bit expensive but a nice treat.

Good here is good. Menu is small. Some things are better than others. My family loves the spicy wings, say they are the best they have ever had. I get the veggie bowl, it's good, but not to die for. I do love the coffee and soft serve desserts. Not so much the fish pastry- that was a waste. Service is kind. The vibe is order at the counter, eat and clean up your own mess. It's not overly loud and you won't leave smelling like a tepan restaurant.

Trendy spot! It's really cute inside and seems like a great place to meet friends and hang out. Well organized and service was fast. Let's finally get to the food! It was amazing! I got the spicy pork belly bowl that comes with spinach, mushrooms, carrots, and bean sprouts. Vegetables were fresh and pork was very tasty. At first I thought the vegetables would have been nice to have some seasoning but after mixing it up with the pork, rice, and aioli I thought they were perfect the way they were. Husband got the bulgogi bowl and it came with same vegetables but different sauce and a fried egg. He thought it was very good as well...I thought mine was better.. We also got the 6 piece fried chicken in the fire chicken flavor and it is spicy....dont get this flavor if you cant handle hot!! I thought it was perfection and very crispy. Husband thinks its the best fried chicken he's had...very tender on the inside. We were also able to customize a bowl for the dog...he got rice, hibachi steak, carrots, and spinach. He loved it as well! Overall...would definitely get again and highly recommend you give this place a try!!

This place is so refreshing. We have gone twice and it's worth every penny! There's 2 options for ordering in the store. You can go to the counter which was our preferred choice. Or you can go to the huge order screens and order. I enjoyed the customer service given when at the counter. Both times the person who waited on us explained the menu to us throughly and made the experience enjoyable. I had the fresh bowl as it was with chicken bulgogi. My wife had the beef bulgogi and created her own bowl. We had an order of the fried chicken wings. We also had a side of kimchi. If you love Korean food without wanted the fancy seat down this is definitely your spot. It has quite a few tables to sit. Our first time we went on a Friday night and it was packed. Our second time we went on a Tuesday and for lunch it was more laid back. They also have specialty drinks and desserts.

Food is ordered through kiosks located in the left corner facing the entrance. I went solely for the strawberry matcha soft serve, so I can't speak for the other foods but can vouch that it's creamy, mildly sweet, full of flavor, and delicious! It comes with two free toppings, but I didn't want any. Reminds me of the soft serves I've had in Japan. Better than McFlurry and actually cheaper too! The restaurant was packed on a Sunday afternoon and parking sucked, but service was quick. Restaurant is bright and cherry. Would be a great spot for a date!

Great place! Customizable menu with whatever you want. Highly recommend the custom bowls and their wings. Friendly staff and clean and quiet location. Delicious food. Definitely going back.

Went to the soft opening and loved everything we had! My fav were the wines and tetboki! The food came out hot and delicious, everything was very flavorful. Chicken wings were fried crispy and glazed with sauce. Service was quick i believe we waited less than 10 min for our food. And the location is perfect with a nice patio to chill and eat.

Finally made it to bimbibox! The restaurant has a nice open seating concept. There's a dessert station I can get soft served or taiyaki, you can place your order on the ordering kiosk or you can place it with an employee at the counter. Customer service is a 10 out of 10 everyone is attentive and willing to help you understand the menu. They also have complementary miso soup which was delicious. The soy garlic wings are absolutely phenomenal. They had a nice crunch and a nice sweet umami flavor. I also got a rose lemonade, which was delicious. We also got a kids build your own bowl and it did not disappoint and we got the rose rice noodle dish and the sauce on that is a 10 out of 10. We also took advantage of the cute photo booth. This was an amazing experience and we will be back.

Got to check out the soft opening and the grand opening and both times, the food was truly so good. I really love Korean food and this all was delicious. Those wings are so delicious, especially the soy garlic ones. They have great texture. The service was fast and I also feel like the spot is so cute! They even have a cute little Korean Photo Booth!

Do you enjoy Korean food? Well if that's a yes, then you'll definitely enjoy Bibimbox's take at Korean fusion of many of the culture's dishes, such as the bibimbap and tteokbokki. The owners are of the successful local KBBQ chain called Kpot, so they have a lot of experience with Korean cuisine. They created the menu from scratch, incorporating a unique twist to the traditional dishes like bibimbap, which turned out really good. Their menu is diverse as you have entrees from bibimbap and the option to build your own, choices of Korean fried chicken, appetizer options like dumplings or tteokbokki and dessert options like the traditional bingsu (shaved ice) or teas. For my first visit, I ordered a custom bibimbap. I got the hibachi chicken which uses breast meat, so it was very tender with sides of greens and the bibimbox sauce. I also got the vegetable and pork dumplings with tteokbokki, both which were fantastic. Cant forget dessert! Though they had various flavor options, the traditional flavor comes with red bean, so I went with that. The cups are fairly small, great for single portions rather than sharing a large bowl like some places serve bingsu. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants to dine or take out at. The food isn't expensive at all and the quality you get for the price can't be beat. As I said if you enjoy Korean food or places like KPOT, you'll definitely enjoy this place. Plenty of parking, fantastic customer service from staff, and ample amounts of seating where the ambiance isn't too noisy; perfect to relax, converse, and have a meal.

I genuinely do not like this area because of traffic on weekends. But today we were treated to Korean fried chicken and strawberry matcha ice cream for lunch. They also have a Photo Booth for pictures. Nice staff.

TLDR: good food and atmosphere Just heard this place opened yesterday so I gave it a whirl. Thought it would've been smaller but was surprised how big the space was. Pretty straight forward menu if you're not familiar with Korean dishes. Ordered fire chicken wings and fried chicken bowl and took about 15 mins to arrive. Fire chicken was that sticky sauce you're familiar with Korean style wings but after 2-3 wings was actually feeling the heat. Then onto the chicken bowl that gave me cava vibes: Fresh veggies, plump chicken with crispy fried breading over fluffy rice. There was a bit of kimchi on there too and it's an acquired taste, one I haven't acquired yet but I did taste a bit to say I did. I don't know how but I saved some room for dessert and the lady at the counter definitely educated me on the different soft serve combination so I went with a mango vanilla swirl with the custard fish pastry ( they told me what it was I forgot ) and this was the only thing that fell flat. Pastry fish was warm and soft but still had that crisp outer shell to it but the soft serve had a not sweet but trying to be I just couldn't get jiggy with so I only had a couple of bites after the pastry fish was gone. Overall good food, atmosphere and experience that I'll be looking to have again soon.

The food is super good, we tried a little of everything and loved it!!! They make very good matcha, i got the matcha lemonade with is matcha and sprite and it was really refreshing. The food and drinks came out quickly, and it's sort of cafeteria style so there's a lot of seating. I know I've seen a lot of people say it's very expensive, but I eat across a lot of Asian restaurants and the price was very typical for what I've personally experienced for two people. It may be expensive for some though, and I do recommend checking it out online before you go. Also order your dessert after your main. Everything was super good though and we had leftovers.

As soon as we walked in the door, the energy was great, especially on a busy Friday night. The food was amazing, the service, music. I highly recommend the soy garlic chicken and the original bibimbap. I didn't take any pictures, but our dog knew as soon as we got home that we went somewhere pretty special.

I found this place because I was looking for Korean fried chicken wings , I ordered the Korean friend chicken wings and chicken hibachi. The wings were good but they weren't as krispy as other Korean wings I have had. The chicken hibachi was really good and it came with white radishes and they were very good

I came back with my sister to try Kumo Kumo dessert cafe inside Bibimbox. We ordered on the kiosks and tried out the photo booth while we waited. We got a matcha and ube soft serve and the original bingsu. The bingsu is absolutely delicious - perfectly icy and sweet with mochi pieces, crispy rice puffs, and fresh strawberries. The soft serve is on the milkier and creamier side which I'm not a fan of but the flavor is good.

The soy ginger wings were very good. We ordered a hibachi chicken bowl which was great, it had a generous amount of chicken. I had the Tteokbokki which was interesting, first time I tried that. It had a nice spice to it and the sauce was very good. My daughter ordered the original bibimbap bowl with bulgogi and it was a very high quality bowl. The service was decent and the ambiance is as well. Nothing fancy, straight forward meal. I loved the ube ice cream with the Nutella filled Taiyaki.

I'm obsessed with their drink. Butterfly yuzu, ube oatmilk latte, strawberry latte every single one is great. The location shucks for us because we live on the other side of town but it might be a good thing or else we would come back every day. We also had food this time around and everything tasted pretty good.

Not somewhere with probably come back again the food is average. Customer services is decent, but doesn't compare to the flavors presented at Boncho.

My friend and I were very excited about this new Korean place but it was mediocre at best. Bibimbap wasn't authentic and wings were so so. It was extra disappointing because it was far away! Maybe it's catered for American taste but they could do better! My tea tasted like watered milk with very subtle hint of jasmine. Not going back again.

First time i have ever gone where majority of the staff is underage but very professional and attentive! The fried soy garlic chicken wings are amazing! The hibachi bowls were cooked to perfection. Hassle free and very informative when asked about the "fire sauce"

Yummy bibimbop. Peculiar yet appetizing desserts. Very friendly staff. Fun, casual atmosphere. Affordable prices. Allergy friendly. Tickle your tastebuds here! We will be back to try everything on this whimsical menu.

I tried the Mandu and it was amazing. Extremely authentic the first bite and I was hooked. I also had the chicken hibachi and it was delicious. You get a very healthy portion and enough yum yum sauce to match the portion size. They also have complementary Miso soup to go with the meal. Definitely coming back and recommend this place as a must try.

Be prepared for a little wait time as most if not all there food is made to order. Nonetheless the food was hot and tasty! Oh, and the pastries were delicious !

The food here is absolutely delicious. I love the ability to customize your bibimbap. They have an excellent variety of choices to choose from so you don't feel limited when customizing. Their fried chicken options were also very delicious. I also love that they have a dessert area as well. They also offer a cute built in Photo Booth and complimentary soup. The interior was very nice and kept clean too. I think my only critique would be that it is a lot pricier than I was expecting so buyer beware when you come here be prepared to spend a good amount.

Modern, clean colors and restaurant design. For the soft launch, menu is unique, not too many menu items. Chicken wings are just ok - Banchan or 99Kitchen is better. The bibimbox pork belly bowl was flavorful and ingredients tasted fresh. The pork belly was sliced thinly like bacon, which i really liked. There was a lot of rice in the bowl, red sauce was good too, reminiscent of gochuchang with a noticeable sesame oil overtone. Will definitely go back to try more menu items and especially their desserts. The peach iced drink was good and I liked that I could control how sweet it was. Great to see another Korean cuisine option in our area! My daughter had the rose ttekbokki and said it was very sweet for her taste and she's a kid!

Food was delicious! Service was pretty quick. There are several tables to sit at but difficult to find a spot bc so many customers are always there. But that's a good thing at least you know before you get your food it's going to be delicious!!

I think it's very good! The food is delicious. I had the wings ( soy garlic) and the fried rice and the original bibmbox bowl. And all were great! Another time I tried ( recommended by staff) the spicy pork belly bowl and that was great too. The staff is very friendly and courteous.

Very good spot for Korean with the newer counter service ordering. The place was very busy and food was served within 20 minutes. Korean Fried chicken was excellent. The tepokki was so so, but fine. Restaurant has outdoor seating area and plenty of spice.

Had lunch at Bibimbox with a friend, and enjoyed the original bibimbop bowl, with beef bulgogi. It was tasty, just spicy enough with the sauce, and I felt like the amount of food was about right. If you eat in the restaurant, there's complementary miso soup, which is a nice touch. Service was fast and friendly. All in all, it's good to have a new fast casual Korean option in the Harbison area of Columbia, SC. I would recommend it, and will be back.

This place was awesome. I'd never had Korean fried chicken before, so I was in for a surprise. The chicken was moist, tender, flavorful. The breading nice and crispy. And as a fan of buldak ramen spice, it was amazing. I've had tteobokki several places, and I really enjoyed theirs. Not too sweet like I've had before, nice spice level. The bibimbap was very good but I enjoyed the chicken most followed by the tteobokki. The icecream was tasty and I enjoyed the freshly made custard stuffed pastry fish. If this place added Korean corn dogs it would be even more awesome! I'd also wish for Korean seafood pancake and/or kimchi pancake, though that may not be as popular with the general population

Great bowls and wings for the price. There is slightly more bread on the fried chicken that I like. But that's my only critique. Other than that. Great food

Food is really good. I prefer to get the chicken habachi as it is a good portion of white meat chicken. They don't really do special orders so you get what you get. I wasn't impressed with the wings; a little too much fry batter and sauce for my liking. The service is good

The bowl I had was great. They have a wide variety of beverages. Not all of the offerings are spicy. The waffle dessert thingy was very good.
