It is gorgeous inside and outside! Unfortunately I didn't have time to look around much because they were closing it up for lunch, it was about 1pm. At least it was one of the few places open on Sunday!

Great place. Historical one. Must visit.

Beautiful historic library, a must see given its liberation story. They showcase beautiful art exhibitions on the centre space too.

It's free to get in and should be as there is not much to see. Old historic library that is of some significance. Needs some funding to give this place a facelift. Worth a few minutes to pop in.

Small but beautiful library. This is a place to visit if you're a history nerd. However, you may need to understand some French to understand what books you're looking at too.

Architectural gem! Was built in 1887 for Parisian exhibition, later dismantled and moved to Martinique. A beautiful pavillon which is a public library today. Don’t be shy to have a look inside !

The metal frame of the eclectic Bibliothèque Schoewlcher (1887) in Fort-de-France, Martinique, was first assembled in Paris then re-erected here.
