Bica FLH Suites

Prime location - literally in walking distance of many of Lisbon's amazing top attractions, such as the Castelo and Praca do Comercio! There's also lots of transit options nearby, such as the iconic city trams & a large metro station. Felt very welcomed & safe for our first time in Lisbon/Portugal as two non-Portuguese speaking women (1 American, 1 American-Swiss) in our 20s. Everything was so clean & bright, and the ambience was very peaceful despite close proximity to a bustling shopping area. We were shocked to find how many guests were actually staying there because everything was so nice & quiet. Our room was super spacious (could've fit 2 more beds), the included breakfasts and 24/7 amenities (such as unlimited espresso) were amazing, and the staff could not have been more kind & helpful. They securely held onto our luggage before & after check-in/check-out, and I was so surprised & pleased to be wished a happy birthday on my birthday during our stay! Based on conversations with family & friends who've visited Lisbon, considering what they've paid to stay in other residences nearby, I believe we got a great price/value for the location & all the amenities. I recommend!

Best hotel I’ve ever experienced! Staff is exceptional and very caring. The room was nice and modern, very clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was great and many choices are offered (cheese, proscuitto, eggs, pastries, yogourt & fruits, coffee & tea). Hotel is well located, walking distance from all the main attractions and near the metro station. I would definitely come back to Bica FLH if I visit Lisbon again!

Staff were friendly and helpful, super clean and up-to-date room. Great location for exploring the city, easy to pop back into throughout the day. Felt like a quiet, cozy BnB. The tea time was nice to grab a cafe and sweet bite between outings.

Very cute and cozy hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the room we had was great and the breakfast had a nice varied selection of bread, yogurt and eggs. Outside of breakfast hours there is always water, coffee and tea available. In the afternoon there is even daily cake and cookies. Location is great but it is in an area that is hard for cars to get to. A taxi or uber might not drop you off directly at the door but at the top of the road. We would definitely go back here if we ever visit Lisbon again.

One of the best hotel I ever stayed. Door staff is amazing, the room is clean and Nice. Breakfast is very good with meat and variety. We loved our stay there.

We booked a "large twin room" well in advance, based on photos and description, which promised a spacious room with a large bed, entrance area, sizable bathroom. Upon arrival on Friday evening, we were assigned a different kind of room with a street-facing window and tiny bathroom. Despite having explicitly requested via mail a quiet room more than two months before our arrival, the hotel did not fulfill this request. After discussing the issue with the staff, we were moved to another room. This room was only available for 2 of 3 nights. For the 3rd night, we were told we would need to move to a „suite“. On Saturday eve, we told the staff that we don't wanna move rooms for the 3rd night and wanna stay in our room. The staff member told us that the room we were in was already booked for other guests and that he would check with the hotel manager. Late in the evening, we were shown a "suite". Upon inspecting the so-called „suite", it was clear that this was not a suite at all, but a simple double room located directly next the breakfast area (we compared with pics on booking). This is scam! |On Sunday morning, when we wanted to check our option with the reception, no one was there the entire morning, just a lonely sign „reception open from 8-12". We asked for assistance via WhatsApp, unfortunately no one responded. Thanks to the help of the cleaning lady someone showed up at approximately noon. After much negotiation, we were allowed to stay in the same room for the 3rd night, but by this point, the entire experience had already been soured. |Adding to our frustration were the numerous maintenance issues in the room: the door had a large gap at the bottom, letting light in and disrupting sleep, mattresses were sagging and uncomfortable, one wardrobe doors was stuck, a bedside lamp was broken, the bathroom was freezing (no heating).|Over the course of our stay, they contacted us even via WhatsApp, which felt inappropriate and invasive. We were initially offered alternative rooms in one of their other hotels. Surprisingly, those offers were quickly rescinded. The back-and-forth left us feeling disrespected and stressed.|The breakfast area was also inappropriate. It was extremely cold due to the airconditioning that it was uncomfortable to eat. One staff member even stood in the breakfast area watching videos on his phone, which was unprofessional and distracting. Moreover, the staff helped themselves to coffee from the guest machine and took food from the buffet, which felt inappropriate.

We had a great stay last week for 3 nights. The apartments are in a quiet location just back from a trendy and busy area. Easy to access via Metro.|Great additional touches included all-day coffee, cakes from 2pm, umbrellas, and helpful staff.|Check-in was straight forward.|Breakfast buffet is plentiful and has a decent choice, although became a bit samey after days. Lush OJ :)|The ownly downside was our room (201) was located in the main corridor close to the reception and breakfast area so it was very noisy after 8am = no lie in! It was also a bit cold and dark towards the wardrobe area. Our main shower head didn't work. Maintenance came promptly but unfortunately it wasn't resolved - meaning I couldn't wash my hair properly.
