An unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The food? Absolutely divine—every dish was crafted with incredible flavor, freshness, and care. You can truly taste the passion behind each bite. But what made this place truly stand out was the people—not only is the food amazing, but she is one of the nicest and kindest people you’ll ever meet. Friendly, humble, and so welcoming, she made us feel like VIPs. It’s rare to find someone who pours so much heart into both the kitchen and the customer experience. Thank you for the green tea, appreciate very much 😊

Mar 2025 Dinner 6 of us Very nice dinner. Everything was just very nice. Service very polite and attentive. Food fantastic and fast. Will be back. Especially for the risotto with tomato sauce and the salad

Excellent traditional northern Italian cuisine with great service and a very descent wine list. Walked in without a reservation in the middle of lunch hour on a Saturday, but staff didn't even give any strange look (like some places) and got us a table right away. Definitely the place to be if you treasure food more than decor in a city such as Milan!

A long-established restaurant, always bustling with guests. The saffron risotto seemed to be the star of the menu – I’ll make sure to try it next time.

You walk into Bice and it feels like Milan before Milan became a showroom. Dim lighting, worn wood, an old-school charm that does not care if you notice. The steak tartare? Clean, sharp, no fluff — just the right texture, the proper chill, like someone back there actually gives a damn. The antipasti come out humble, with no overstyled plating, just real food with flavor that speaks louder than it looks. Service is smooth, like they have done this a thousand times and still somehow care. It is the kind of place you remember not for one thing but for how quietly everything works.

Would not recommend. While the service was excellent, the food was… genuinely awful. The risotto was watery, the penne was clearly leftover from the day before (clumpy as possible.. like leftover pasta in my fridge), and the Octopus was tough and hard to eat. We left half the food uneaten. Our server was great but for €100+ a head I’d expect more than leftovers, which clearly all of this was. I wouldn’t have paid more than for €5/person, despite the very professional and endearing service. I now see why the place was empty at 8:30 pm on a Saturday, only tourists

Google
Amazing service, an impressive wine selection, and excellent traditional Milanese cuisine. The osso buco was absolutely phenomenal, as was the eggplant appetizer. Don’t miss the apple pie for dessert—it’s the perfect ending to the meal. If I lived in Milan, this would easily be a weekly spot for me!

Yelp
Bice was our final meal in Milan, Italy and it was absolutely amazing. Small and elegant, I definitely recommend taking time to set reservations prior to walking in.

Yelp
Just finished shopping with the girlfriend on a Saturday night and wanted to look for a place to eat. You're in Milan so you want to try the best of the best! Luckily we ran into Bice and we were the last walk ins. People behind us got cut off. (If you plan on visiting make sure you get a reservation). Got two entrees risotto with veal and curry shrimp. The Veal was so juicy and just melted in your mouth. Curry shrimp was cooked to perfection!

Yelp
This is the best upscale restaurant in Milan. The ambiance is very special, it is intimate with great art on the walls and fresh flowers; the food is delicious; the prosciutto and Buffalo mozzarella is wonderful; the spaghetti vongole exquisite, and they have the best safron rissotto and veal colletta in town. This is a venue highly visited by celebrities and super models so wear your best clothing. You will have a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This is one of the best pasta I ever had in my life, so far. This place was recommended to me by one of my colleague so my friend and I were pretty excited to try it out while we were in Milan. We decided to go one evening for dinner. The staffs were nice and friendly. I am a pretty picky eater and there are certain things I don't eat so I asked if I can have the spaghetti with shrimps only. And the staff said it was doable. I was glad to hear that. We enjoyed the food very much. it was the first meal during in my trip in Milan that I was able finish completely. When we were almost done with our meal, the server who was serving us asked if we wanted to have dessert but we were already full. so we said no. It seems like he didn't like that we didn't want to order more dishes, and he didn't see that friendly afterward. When I looked at the bill, it seemed like they overcharged my dish also. But I didn't say anything. Overall I liked the place and enjoyed the food. I recommend it and would go back there for the food again. hope next time they won't turn gloomy if we turn down on dessert. or we might even order it.

Yelp
Old school Milanese! Lots to enjoy so don't be afraid to ask for half portions. Can't go wrong with Bice.

Yelp
Wow! I was taken to this restaurant hidden down an alleyway off Via Montenapoleone and what a delight it was. It's a classy place. They will take your coat at the door and take you to your seat, where you will get delightful service and truly excellent food. And when I say truly excellent food, remember you are already in Italy which is pretty good for food anyway, and then you come here and get blown away! Great wine list, fabulous pasta and superb service all come together in nice surroundings with a cosy atmosphere. I can't really recommend it anymore than I already have :)

Yelp
Bice is one of my favorite restaurant in the entire world. They serve simple Milanese-Italian food that has a lot of home cook feel to it. We were recommended to this place by our hotel concierge. And even though one should be adventurous when one is in some foreign city, Bice is just that good that we can spend every lunch and dinner here. I have tried a lot of items in their menu and I just can't find anything bad in the menu. There are just too many good things in the menu and I can't even point a favorite. For some ideas, look at the photos that I uploaded. There's nothing much more I can add except YOU MUST GO TO THIS PLACE.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of the best I've had so far, the food amazingly melt in the mouth, service is good, the tables in the seating area are squeezed close to each other, make it feel like a family restaurant. Iove everything about it although it's pricey it is so worth it.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service. Reservations a must! Been to the Dubai Bice which is also amazing but the original has a homey, warm feeling. Definitely expect to pay a lot but it is well worth the food. Only complaint is I don't think there's a need for then to charge a fee per person considering the prices of the food.

Yelp
I dislike giving negative ratings but this place is an overpriced racist dump. We arrived at 1230pm for lunch after receiving a recommendation from the department store clerk in Milan. We were the first to arrive and greeted by the waiter who was in his 30's ... he looked up and down at us like what are you doing here... very rude an pompous attitude. We were dress formally as we were shopping in the boutiques in Milan. Anyhow we were hesitantly seated. in the front section of the restaurant. our waiter was different than the waiter we were greeted by. We were hoping this was an anomaly but attitude. We felt uncomfortable but reluctantly ordered. the bread we got was bland and hard. We notice as patrons started to come in the local Italians were seated in the back of the restaurant and the asians were seated in the middle of the restaurant. our waiter over heard us when we made this observation and the next few patrons were seated in our area. overall, it was pretty obvious this restaurant does not like foreigners. We definitely felt discriminated against. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food was bland and ordinary and price was absurd.

Yelp
Came here with a reservation for a group of 13 people, and we were all extremely pleased. What I loved: (..everything) --Great service. Coat check before you head to your table. Waiter was accommodating and didn't mind that we couldn't speak a word of Italian (we had some laughs over this). He replenished our bread frequently. --Delicious food. Everything from the bread to the appetizers to the main course to the dessert. There were multiple kinds of bread to tickle every fancy, and a pretty large selection of appetizers, soups, pastas, meats, and desserts. --Ambiance. Classy, with an older and more refined clientele. We were definitely the youngest people there. Food recommendations: --Don't skip out on dessert! The apple pie (their special recipe) with vanilla gelato was amazing. Tiramisu was great too. --Appetizers: fried calamari/vegetables, and the cold seafood salad complimented each other well. Share with multiple people and get both.

Yelp
Well it was my favorite restaurant in Milan because they had many traditional Italian dishes that we were unfamiliar with from our home and from North America. They were all well done. However, when we were there last week (December 2015) We found the same dishes on the menu. Nothing wrong with that. Definitely keep your Classics going. But they were all pretty lame and tired, uninspiring. Prices are not low but considering the heart of shopping heaven it is not unreasonable. We found the service good and recommendations enthusiastic. No complaints there.

Yelp
Our party of four had a memorable meal in a warm, lovely atmosphere with impeccable service. Our waiter, Rafaelle made suggestions and guided us in ordering and everything was outstanding - so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend the carpaccio, vitello Milanese and their amazing tiramisu - but we enjoyed EVERY dish.

Yelp
Bice offers nothing more than mediocre cuisine at premium prices. Waking in, the flannel pajama patterned carpet dominates the entire place with 1990s lighting fixtures over illuminating the mustard yellow walls. As far as the food goes - I got the risotto alla Milanese as my first course, which was decent, but considering the 20 euro price tag, I expected more than decent. It was garnished with a wilted arugula leaf. That obviously didn't necessarily take away from the taste but consistently contradicts the price point. My friend got their shrimp cocktail antipasti which came strangely in clam shells drenched in a pink Russian dressing style sauce. Definitely not what you would expect from shrimp cocktail.

Yelp
I've been coming here at least 4x a year for over 10 years and it is consistent. The food is good and the price is good. The menu is large and you can't go wrong. Some of the staples are the granchio crab appetizer, mozzarella with cheese (I never personally order it with all the great thing on the menu but a lot of people I go with or other patrons in the restaurant order it because they are in Italy and believe it's good. It's basic.) pappardelle al telefono, rizzo alla milanese, rizzo con ossobuco, and the branzino. They always have a large selection of gelato and sorbets if you are not in the mood for a tiramisu or a filling dessert. Call ahead or stop by the day before or earlier in the day to reserve a table. It gets crowded and they will stuff you into tiny tables where you can hear every other conversation around you. The lady at the front of the house is a price of work and should retire but the other staff is great. There has been an older waiter working there for a long time that is very kind and accommodating.

Yelp
Truly authentic Milanese food. From Risotto Ossobuco to Cotoletta alla Milanese. Also nice atmosphere and service. I always bring foreigners when they come to visit me in Italy, it's a good way to impress guests! However, being Ialian, i could find cheaper places with the same quality. But still, one of my favourite restaurant in Milano.
