Great hostel! Karen really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. So professional, hard working and personable! Clean well laid out hostel with very comfortable beds, nice sheets and towels. Perfect location. Interesting mix of people. You will be glad you stayed here!

Lovely hostel, we stayed in a private room for 2 nights and felt so relaxed and at home. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful views from the communal area. Karin who was working at the hostel was so friendly and helpful, she really made us feel so welcome!

Lovely place! Came here with two of my friends in late 2020, and it was great. The rooms were good, and virtually all facilities were clean and tidy. Great location that's less than 5 minutes from town centre. Not a bad price either.

Excellent location, really clean and tidy, super friendly staff and other guests. Well equipped kitchen and really comfy beds. Karin in reception was just so lovely and helpful! This accommodation very much isn't just for backpackers, and we really enjoyed chatting with the other guests in the shared areas. Thoroughly recommend to anyone travelling through Bicheno

It was just an absolute lovely place. The kitchen was immaculate clean and the interior makes you feel like in a cabin in the woods. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. The owner was very helpful and kind although we booked it pretty last minute. Wonderful!

Good quality bunks & exceptionally clean bathroom. However, there’s only 2 power points in the dorm room we stayed in to go around for 8 people. There’s more sockets around the common area to charge your devices.

Great, affordable place. Friendly people and staff, clean and warm. Loved the heater in the room. Nice and toasty for a rainy day. Easy to find as well and conveniently located near a 5 minute walk to an awesome view. Had a wonderful stay here.

Staff are friendly when not busy. We checked in after a larger group and she seemed a little frazzled. Check out is 10am, the owner made a comment "that means check out, not pack up and hangout around the kitchen" Wifi is really slow as everyone is using it. They have parking for about 3-4 cars. And a short 5 minute walk into the city. Dorms are a little noisy, walls are thin.
