The park is fairly basic but meets the essential needs for a short stay. The facilities are functional, though some areas could benefit from a little updating. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. The park is clean, but there isn’t much in terms of amenities or activities, so it’s best suited for those looking for a simple, no-frills experience. Overall, it’s a decent option for an overnight stop or a budget-friendly stay. Wifi was very bad. Laundry was terrible.

Liz was very friendly in the office. Park is clean and tidy. Cabin is clean and tidy. Good water pressure Internet never worked, so make sure you have your own data Would stay here again. Good value for money

No other accommodation available in all of Bicheno so we grabbed the last cabin at this caravan park. We stayed in the budget cabin and although there were only two of us, this cabin slept four. It was very dated and a bit sad. In saying that, the cabin was clean and quite large in the main area. Bathroom was small and old but functional and water was hot. When you turned the light on the fan made a dreadful noise. Kitchen was adequate and had all you needed. Bed was comfortable. Sofa was a bit low but would be no problem for younger people. I was a bit worried when I discovered the window didn’t lock, or at least I couldn’t lock it and the lock on the main door was a bit loose. Parking is right outside the cabin undercover. Everything is within walking distance which is great. Only downside is the WIFI. Virtually non existent. We thought we could connect but it was literally only for a second and then dropped out altogether. It really was a nuisance. Not sure if it was the general area or the park’s WIFI system. I could connect to my own data plan thank goodness. If it was just the park’s system they need to do something about it. In this day and age it is a requirement. All in all, the budget cabins are adequate, reasonably priced and the park is very well situated.

We stayed at this campsite for one night in an unpowered site and unfortunately, it was by far the worst experience we've had while traveling around Australia by car. This was also the most expensive campsite we've paid for on our entire trip, and we regret it entirely.||First, the kitchen facilities were a joke. They had only one pan that actually worked with the hob—because it had to be a special one. Trying to cook anything, like boiling pasta, became an ordeal. Imagine trying to use a frying pan for that—needless to say, it took forever and was incredibly frustrating.||Then, we used the washing machine, and the clothes came out absolutely disgusting—dirty and smelling awful. I complained, but they did nothing to resolve the issue. We had to dry our clothes twice, and even then, they were still wet.||I tried to reach out via email to address the issue, but they completely ignored me. When I called to follow up, they knew about the email. Still, they didn’t do anything, just giving excuses. ||Between the pathetic facilities, lack of response, and overall poor service, this place was a huge disappointment. Do yourself a favor and stay at the campsite next door. This place is horrible, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

We had a school group of 24 boys stay here for the last two nights and it was an excellent experience. Great location, great facilities and friendly staff. Would recommend and we will be back! From all staff and students at St Joe’s.

Fantastic facility’s! We stayed at a powered site in a camper van and used the shared bathrooms and they were great. Water was hot instantly, nice wide shower heads, big mirrors and HEATED BULBS to warm the room with an automatic extraction fan. The fella manning the reception was also very helpful so after a not so great experience elsewhere, this was a blessing.

We stayed in a Deluxe Two-Bedroom Cabin overnight and were disappointed to find how dirty the cabin was. We laid towels on the couch so our clothes didn't get dirty. Thankfully we were armed with cleaning products, so I spent the first hour of our stay cleaning everything including light switches, remote control (this was disgusting), sinks and tap handles, table and bench tops, and the floor of the main living area (the floor was sticky in front of the lounge). We slept on top of the bedding, and didn't shower or eat at the cabin. The toilet seemed clean. I mentioned it to the person at reception the next morning, but he didn't seem bothered. We won't be staying here again.

As far as caravan parks go, this one is pretty bloody average. At check-in the receptionist couldn’t give two hoots so long as I gave them my credit card and then it was silence and back to their screen, no friendly welcome and rather awkward. This sums up the park, it’s a great location, they know it but in dire need of renovation and care. I’m so glad I didn’t have my caravan as the sites looked more akin to the potholed footy carpark than something you’d want to try and get a van parked level on. We had a two bedroom apartment and I guess a clean room is an additional option we’d forgot to pay for. Upon arrival the bins in the room still had rubbish in them and the couch (if you could call it one as it was more like a sheet draped over timber) had food scraps sticking up from between the cushions. As for facilities we found two of the three washing machines broken and most of the games room was out of order. The kids playground is obsolete, worn out and not working properly - like the flying fox which was very hard for the kids to get flying. Sadly the only thing going for this park is its location, close to shops and the beach
