Bicheno Hideaway

I stayed at BH with my family around 12 Jan. We rented both bungalows to cater for 10 or so adults and teen-agers. The accommodation was very clean comfortable and has loads of character. Arabella and Nick have great design sense so the decor feels like a rustic beach shack but with all the modern comforts you could need The sea is 50m away with the beautiful Tassie granite rocks with red lichen. Good snorkeling and swimming at near by beaches in walking distance. Lots to explore near by with frachinet peninsula and a river gorge and swimming hole and Bicheno. Great holiday. I have been trying to write my review on Airbnb - but I fear I might have missed the boat... This place is amazing. The interiors are quirky and cosy, and the location is beautiful. We only stayed for two nights, but could have booked another week. During the day we drove to Freycinet, which is about a 35 minute drive. Thank you so much for having us in your beautiful Boathouse!

Gorgeous hideaway just out of Bicheno. Rocky foreshore and beach minutes away. Surrounded by widelife such as Bennett's wallabies, rosellas, possums and birdlife. Amicable owner. If you need to escape concrete and the daily grind come to hideaway. Surrounded by nature forest and the sound of the ocean. Im sure each morning the resident peacock will come and say hello. There is a lovely 10 minute track to the nearby beach. Bischeno is Tasmania at its best. Each cabin is separated from the next.

absolute privacy,peace and quiet, it was a wonderful place to stay, very clean and cosy, and a nice comfy bed,the wood fire was awesome, as were the surroundings , most relaxing place to get away from it all , will certainly go back

Beautiful accommodatio! Clean heaps of space and to top it off can hear the ocean!
