Vegans rejoice! The glazed tofu banh mi is soooo good. The bread is always the base of the banh mi, and the pickled veggies can sway the total score, but the tofu is the star of the show. They can even make the whole thing vegan with vegan mayo! It’s a little shop but the owners really show their love of their craft. You won’t be disappointed. 🔥✅

If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars, I would! My girlfriend and I were in the mood for a lobster roll and we were walking around Biddeford when we were captured by a small a-frame sign that read "Lobster Banh Mi". We decided to pop in and were instantly greeted by the friendly owner. We ordered the Lobster Banh Mi and were amazed at the size of the sandwich (what a value!!). Within one bite, we were totally in love with the sandwich. The ginger, green onion and cilantro brought the lobster to life! The bread was perfect and the lobster was perfectly dressed. I opted to add a couple of fresh jalapenos to my sandwich. We told the owner that we were absolutely ruined because all future lobster rolls (and banh mi at that rate) would be compared to the since devoured lobster banh mi. Thank you to this business for putting your heart in soul into what you do. We will definitely be back for sure!

Love the food and service at BiddoBanh! We first tried their food at Oktoberfest and loved it. We visited the restaurant recently and appreciated how kind the owners are. Also, the matcha boba tea was perfect 😌 yummy food + good people. Give them a try if you haven't already!

My wife and I travel a lot and always try to find good local Bahn Mi places. BiddoBahn really delivers, upstaging the previous best we found which was in Salt Lake City, UT. The staff is wonderful, friendly and attentive. The online ordering was quick, easy, efficient, and you pay online so you can just grab and go. The drinks are made to order when you arrive (so they're fresh), and the food was ready at the estimated time. Special note to their boba drinks, they are creamy and tasty! But let me tell you, their food is truly excellent. The bread has that great outer crunch while the inside is soft, chewy, and robust. The veggies were crispy and fresh, and the marinated meat was so flavorful, juicy, and fresh. Bahn Mis are hard to make exceptional, and these were that. Definitely if you like Bahn Mis, give them a try. We can't wait to come back now that we know about them!❤️

This place has some very yummy food and outstanding customer service. I always enjoy seeing the smiles when I walk in and the nice warm welcome.

I had the pork and cold cut bahn mi sandwiches. A very classic and authentic interpretation and execution. Excellent pickling of the vegetables, a nice amount of mayo, classic bread, moist pork, and nice thickly cut cold cuts. Overall two of the bahn mi’s that I’ve had in a long time. And in Biddeford, Maine. Who woulda guessed?

I highly recommend Biddobanh. This is a family-owned business that not only makes great food, including many unusual, locally sourced items, but is very focused on giving back in the community. I have ordered everything from big platters for a family dinner (not on the menu but you can ask) to basically the full menu and it's all been excellent and thoughtfully prepared with care.

Decided to grab a banh mi and as its been awhile since I came here. I can say that the quality and portions are still the same which amazes me. One of the best banh mi I can get in the area! I got the cold cut one which is my favorite and it was filling ! This time I was able to enjoy it sitting inside and chatting with the staff! I will definitely be returning!

This is a GEM! Made a quick pitstop on our way into Portland. This place is set up like a cute little cafe in downtown Biddeford. You will need to street park but it was easy to find for us at lunch hour on a Saturday. We ordered the Cold Cut Banh Mi, Soy Glazed Chicken Banh Mi, and the special of the day Hawaiian Pork Banh Mi. What can I say, baguette was traditional, flaky, fresh. They have something special with their pate that I love. The fresh pickled veggies and cilantro are really what make it. So simple but it makes a huge difference when it comes to many banh mis I've had. Being Vietnamese and growing up in a location with a lot of Vietnamese food in the local community, trust me when I say this is a hidden gem for this region. Must try! Met the owners as well and they were wonderful. We will definitely be returning and recommending.

Delicious! The banh mi is life-changing. Tons of veggie and meat filling. The spread is super unique and tasty. As ridiculously good as the sandwiches are, the bowls are also top tier. If you can resist banh mi with perfect crusty bread, you'll find a delicious option in the rice bowls. Chicken is my favorite, although they have specials that are hard to pass up. They also have really good boba too, the pearls are always served at the perfect texture. Super kid friendly, a small play area with bookshelf and a few toys and coloring books to help kids be patient as they wait for their food or while caretakers socialize. Street parking is a pain, but manageable. Staff are the absolute sweetest, ran by the sweetest local family. Oh and did I mention the bubble wall? It's instagram perfection.

This place was awesome! The sandwiches were super tasty and you can tell they get fresh ingredients. The flavors of the pork and chicken were amazing. The bread the sandwich was made with was perfect. The strawberry boba tea was standard and delicious. The Vietnamese iced coffee was not very sweet, but most definitely strong! The service was quick as there wasn't anyone else there in the restaurant. The minimalist ambiance offsets the fact that the place itself is very small. I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

This is the neatest little gem in the heart of Biddeford! A great lunchtime take-away treat! While the menu may be small, it is mighty! From rice bowls to bahn, there are options including tofu, chicken, shrimp, pork. The star, however, is the Bobo tea. I had a strawberries and cream that instantly transported me back to my childhood days of drinking Strawberry Quick- but better. I also greatly appreciate the correct straw which gets those yummy bobo pearls perfectly! So if you're looking for a locally owned small business that will bring some joy to your soul and your stomach, check it out!!!

Are these the best banh mi in Maine?! Biddo Banh is offering up a simple menu: four banh mi (ginger soy glazed tofu, ginger soy glazed chicken, lemongrass beef, or pork served on a flakey baguette with a creamy pate spread, butter mayo, pickled carrots and daikons, fresh cucumbers, and cilantro), four rice bowls with the same proteins (and those are gluten-free), and several boba tea options (like taro, strawberry, matcha, Thai tea, and brown sugar). I talked with Sima, one of the owners (who's SO friendly, by the way!), and she told me that the ginger soy glazed tofu banh mi is vegan; the glaze and mayo are both vegan-friendly, and the pate is made from onions, nuts, and mushrooms for an umami flavor profile. YOU NEED TO TRY IT. The sandwich is so much bigger than other places, and it's absolutely overflowing with fresh fillings. The bread was much softer than I've experienced elsewhere (crisp on the outside, but pillowy soft on the inside), the veggies were crunchy, and tofu was hearty. Don't forget the jalapenos for an extra kick. Heads-up: they frequently sell out of this particular sandwich before the end of the week! For me, this would always be a grab and go kind of place, and with online ordering and ease of parking available that should work out just fine for future banh mi pick-ups to bring to the beach!

My wife and I stopped to grab a bite to eat and... wow! The bahn mi were equal to any that we have ever had. Sima (the owner) was very friendly and helpful. When I asked for a cup of water for my dog, she said, "Bring him in!." just a great visit.

Delicious! Got the caramelized pork belly bahn and it was amazing. Crispy bread, perfectly pickled veg, fresh herbs and a savory mayo. Great sandwich and very friendly service.

A newer place on Main Street next to our other favorite Fish and Whistle. What impressed us was how clean and cheerful the shop was. I mean so clean you could eat off the floor. This probably I s the only bahn mi place for miles around. We ordered a cold cut version and a beef with lemongrass. Both were excellent- sooo fresh and most importantly delicious! The young owners are planning some exciting plates for Spring and we can't wait!

The decor is adorable, carrying the bubble theme throughout. Mostly a takeout spot, it takes 10-15 minutes to get food once ordering. Very limited seating - literally 2 tables and a loveseat with 2 nearby chair. I ended up getting a tea, water and soda that cost over $12. To be fair, I didn't try the food. The other people at the tables seemed to really enjoy it though.

This place is legit and amazing. Always drive down from Goose Rocks Beach to get lunch from here. Everyone working there couldn't be nicer.

This new small business in downtown Biddeford is yet another jewel of a place! Run by a family, it has a great atmosphere. A few round bistro tables and counter space plus a kids' play area make it so welcoming! My cold cut Banh mi was delicious and well balanced filled with crisp fresh vegetables. Each sandwich is made to order as well as the bubble teas. Come check it out!

Our family of 4 was excited to see a banh mi place in Biddeford. This place exceeded our expectations. We got the pork banh mi, the tofu banh mi, and the chicken and rice bowl. All were very good. The bread was authentic and fresh, which is so important for banh mi. We all agreed that we will be back. If you've never tried banh mi, this is a great place to start.

Fully expected it to be good, but it turned out pretty great. Both the sandwiches and bowls were fresh and tasted amazing. Really easy to take along if all the seats are taken. Tables were clean and there were a few games and familiar children's books in the corner.

For all you foodies out there, this is the place for you! A scratch kitchen which uses all fresh ingredients and homemade food. I have never had bubble tea and do not like sweet things. I loved the taro bubble tea- tastes so good! And, the banh mi sandwiches were awesome! Fresh cilantro, homemade mayonnaise, and pickled vegetables, homemade pate spread, specialty bread ( banh mi freshly made bun).... Terrific ! Glutton free and veggie options too!

I cannot say enough good things about BiddoBanh. From the food, to the service to the atmosphere it was an amazing experience overall. . We got the Cold cut banh mi's, the lemongrass beef rice bowl and a taro bubble tea. The bread is toasted to perfection. The patè & homemade mayo are probably my favorite part about the banh mi's. The rice bowl was perfectly portioned and the flavor of the beef was excellent. The taro bubble tea was also great as it wasn't overly sweet & the boba was soft and fresh. We got our food and drinks within fresh 10 minutes. Their menu is a perfect size providing enough options while still small enough to focus on quality. They also have an amazing vegan option with tofu for protein and a homemade vegan patè & mayo. I highly recommend Biddo Banh to everyone. I will definitely be a regular here!

BiddoBahn is a lovely, family run restaurant. Service is great. The vegan, tofu bahn mi was extremely flavorful. Crunchy bread, fresh veggies, and perfect amount of sauce. Most flavorful tofu I have had in my life. Highly recommend.
