A local gem? More like a local gym… for my jaw.
I found this place on YouTube — apparently a hidden gem loved by locals in Paris. Naturally, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, it turned out to be more meh than magnifique.
Let’s start with the good news: the beef tartare. It was actually amazing. Full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and everything complemented each other like a well-rehearsed French jazz band. I’d honestly come back just for that.
Then came the main dish — the steak of the day (rump steak). Or as I like to call it now: “The Great Chew Challenge of Paris.” I spent several minutes battling each bite like I was auditioning for a jawline workout video. It was tough, not juicy at all, and kind of stole the joy out of the whole experience. The fries were… fine. Nothing wrong, nothing special. Just there, existing.
Sadly, this place didn’t live up to the hype. Maybe I caught it on an off day, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend it. Unless, of course, you’re looking to tone your facial muscles
