"A More Modern Kind of R&R When American troops were in Vietnam, Danang was one of two in-country destinations for R&R (the other was Vung Tau near Ho Chi Minh City). The stretch of beach near the city (famously known as China Beach), was a favourite of troops. These days the beach closest to Danang is known as My Khe and it remains a great spot for swimming, dining and chilling."

The beach is pretty good. Everything is near, the sea is nice. But I almost drowned while swimming near the shore cause the waves got bigger (10:30-11:00 am) and I still feel shocked.. Please be careful! Don’t go swimming while the waves are big and you see a lot of surfers. The sea is good early in the morning 6-8 am and in the evening 4-6:30 pm.

It’s a beautiful beach, is good for swimming and the sandy are white. In the morning you can see the local people doing an exercise and dance, it’s nice! Watching this is motivating

Khae Danang Beach in Da Nang is a quiet and relaxing spot with soft sand and clear water. It’s less crowded than other beaches, making it perfect for unwinding. While it’s peaceful, there aren’t many facilities around, but it’s still a great place to enjoy the sea and sun.

Beautiful beach with a great 'boardwalk' that you can stroll or jog down. During the day, it does get absolutely hot and toasty, but there are quite a few palm trees that you can find shade to rest and sit under. The waves can get fairly big at times, compared to some other beaches. At night, the beach is lit, so you can visit it as well. Come visit this wonderful beach!

Nice beach, a bit far driving from Quang ngại but worth it. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and bbq places along the beach. You can park to their places and they also offer free fresh water for shower if you eat there.

My Khe Beach is easily one of the most relaxing and scenic beaches I've visited in Vietnam. Stretching over kilometers, this beach offers , clear blue waters, and a peaceful vibe that makes it ideal for a laid-back day. There are so many stalls and restaurant alongside the beach where you can enjoy sea food and drinks without staying too far from the shore. It never feels overcrowded as it is very long and there are many water activities you can do like parasailing, jet sking.
