after having an awful experience in an hostel in the area, I called to check on this place and it didn’t disappoint!! first of all I had a lovely meeting with the owner, Carol, who showed me the room and the hotel and I found it so cozy and lovely especially for me as a solo traveller! I’ll definitely come to this hotel from now on every time I come to visit Montréal :)

Stayed at this place for four nights from June 5 to 9 2017. It was a great location. Lots of cafes and shops within walking distance but the B and B was on a residential street. The hosts are very pleasant and welcoming. They recommended restaurants to eat at and different street festivals that were occurring. Checked if I needed anything every time I saw them. The room was simple but lovely. I stayed in room 10. It had a nice balcony that overlooked the street with a cute bistro set to have a snack on. There is a communal fridge and common area to make tea/coffee. It's not a five star hotel but it's got great character and priced at a great value. Clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom has only a small shower stall but it served its purpose with no lack of water pressure or hot water. I look forward to returning soon.

I found out about this B&B quite by chance, but am honestly so glad I did. The owner, Carole, and her husband are the kindest people you could hope to meet and were exemplary hosts. The rooms are fairly basic (some en-suite and others with shared bathrooms), but still comfortable and fantastic value, especially given the location. There’s no breakfast served atm given covid, but that seems consistent with other B&B’s I’ve stayed in within Quebec recently. Would I stay here again? Definitely!!

My wife and I have stayed at Bienvenue twice now, in October 2017 and this past weekend, July 2019. We received very good service, especially on this recent visit. We had brought our bikes on this trip to Canada, and Carole and her husband went out of their way--we hadn't asked--to offer us a secure location to lock our bikes overnight. Then when we had gotten home, we realized we had left a computer charging cord in the room; after a quick call, it is being mailed back to us. Thanks! The rooms are a bit sparse and worn, but they are comfortable. We stayed on a particularly hot weekend, and the small window AC could barely cool the room. And as other reviewers have noted, there is no breakfast offered any longer (on our previous stay, we received coupons for breakfast at one of two awesome local cafes). A major draw for us is its location: the many great restaurants and cafes on Duluth, St. Denis, Rachel, and St. Laurent are all within a 10-15 minute walk, and all the major attractions are close while still staying on a street with locals.

This is a cute B&B located in a great spot in Montreal, we recently stayed here for 2 nights. The Inn-Keepers were lovely, very helpful and kind. It's not the fanciest of places, but it's cozy and practical. Our room was air-conditioned which was great, and was kept clean. The breakfast is through different cafes close to the B&B and you receive $5 coupons for each person. Though it didn't cover the entire cost of our meals we were happy with the food. We lucked out with the street parking as well, finding a spot for our 2-day stay and not having to move our car which would have been a hassle.

I stayed here recently and the longer I stayed the worse it got. It is defintely a no frills bed and breakfast. THERE IS NO BREAKFAST. The guests have access to a kitchen where they can store food and make it there. There is free coffee and tea. I noticed a lot of dead fruit flies next to the plates and napkins and they were there the whole time I was there which is over a week. The hosts never bothered to clean the counter. Rooms are very basic and overpriced. Especially for a shared bathroom situation. There is an older couple that runs the place and lives there too. A few days after I stayed there I noticed the male host started touching himself on the crotch in front of me. I had mentionned that I had a sore leg from being hit by a bicycle and the male host, Allard Cote, began touching my leg without my consent or request. He ran his fingers up the sides of my knee and then began rotating the patellar knee area. My leg was more sore after. I thought he was a physiotherapist or a gp, but is neither. He later touched himself in the crotch area again. Shortly after this incident I left that place. It is not safe and i found the host to be really creepy. Avoid this one.

Me and my bf stayed here for 4 nights and we really liked it. The place is in a great location with access to bus, short walk to train and a nice charming but cool neighborhood. The room was clean, comfortable and had enough for our stay. There was no A/C in the room but it was ok, our room was a nice temperature with the use of a fan. Bathrooms are shared and they were very clean. Staff is super nice too and available for you. I really recommend this place.

Stayed here for the Labor Day long weekend and I must say this was a great find. It is located in a residential street but that does not hold you back from anything. The best thing about this is it's location close to all the bars, cafes and restaurants. If you stay here you shall have no problem being located in a happening area. You are also close to the metro which takes you to all the places in downtown or you can walk towards the st.catherine st. ||I have to say this feels like home as the hosts are the nicest and most welcoming people. Words cannot describe how nice the hosts are for this b&b. They make you feel like home and what more can one ask for. The rooms are big enough and have the basic necessities. The shared bathrooms are also great and supplied with all one needs. All in all a great place to stay and I will recommend.
