We grabbed the last table by the door, which was perfect for watching the street roll by in the rain. They did have an outdoor area that smokers huddled in on occasion, and it looked like it would've been a decent place to sit outside.
Bierfabriek had an entire BBQ chicken on the menu the day we were there. They were on the rotisserie for 24-hours, and it was a great meal if you walked in hungry. (Size is relative to your usual experiences, so I personally thought the 'whole chicken' was on the smaller side, as in the USA one would not order a whole chicken on a plate for themselves and expect to finish it! This was definitely the perfect sized good meal for one.) Apparently they offer this regularly, and have a great setup that you can walk by a window to the kitchen and see all these chickens rotating on the spit. Very cool.
They had complimentary peanuts that you shelled, and threw your remains on the floor. For as busy as it was, and as drunk as many of the patrons seemed, their bathrooms were very clean. Hooray! Waitstaff was very nice. Some tables offered a keg and tap setup with two beers at your fingertips, which seems an efficient choice if you're there to drink heavily.
Their beer list was short, but good. Definitely worth a quick trip to request a flight to try their brews (or hunker down on a rainy night.) I felt the experience was more like a regular restaurant that made it's own beer instead of a brewery. If you are looking for a beer-lover's experience I would pop in early, and plan move on to other options.
