19 Best Hotel Brunch Buffets in Hong Kong

"With harbor-facing windows and warm neutral tones throughout, Big Bay Cafe nails the modern urban resort vibe. If weather permits, sit on the expansive terrace to feel the warm breeze. On Sundays, the Cafe is geared toward family brunches, with magicians and balloon artists on-site to entertain the little ones, as well as a special menu of kid-friendly foods like sliders. But adults will find something they love at the buffet stations, organized by cooking method (Steam, Grill, Chill, Fry, and Stew). Dishes like osso bucco and fried noodles are perfectly executed and constantly replenished." - Kate Springer, Janice Leung Hayes

Well I guess I have to tell you it's pretty damn good you could say pdg! It was free flow, included prosecco, white wine, red wine and juices. Now the free flow was self-service, which at our table we thoroughly enjoyed. I suspect that Big Bay Cafe did not make a profit that day! Personally I didn't find that the buffet was a very big there was seafood Japanese salads and desserts of course. When mentioning that to my friends, they pointed out the buffet carried quite away along a section I hadn't noticed. The traditional buffet food with western Indian and Chinese abounded. I think they must have had some kind of "Chick Pea" promotion because there were many different dishes of chicken peas 😜. The staff were good sports and let us open another prosecco at 225pm and let us stay till around 3pm. Really the icing on the cake, we could have been told no to the last bottle and we could have been asked to leave at 230pm. Thank you! Price HK$754 for 2. Very reasonable in my opinion

Food: Offers a huge variety of delicacies. I especially like their cheese lobster and goose liver. They are simply detectable. Moreover, they have freshly cut tuna, which was so good. Other than that, I enjoyed their A5 wagy beef, but its quantity is limited. Service: Speedy service with nice staff. Also it had some Christmas performance. Atmosphere: At was spacious, and it wasn't really noisy, so quite nice.

Only got to try this on the last day of my stay even though there was breakfast included. For a breakfast buffet, the spread was extensive and even featured things that I would usually not associate with breakfast like sashimi, sushi and meat loaf. Definitely worth it if you are the type who has a hearty appetite for breakfast and likes the variety. Most of the items I picked were fine so I was generally happy with my selection. Personal favourites were the fried noodles, mushroom bun and siew mai. The pastries were delicious too while the congee was a tad bland. There is also freshly pressed juice and there's a variety of fruits to choose from. I chose pear which was not too sweet and refreshing. The place is spacious but it did feel a bit noisy and crowded when the hotel guests started flooding in. Probably not the best place to be if you want to eat in peace and quietness. If the weather is fine, you can head outdoors for a nice view of Victoria Harbour while feasting on your meal.

Absolutely ludicrously lavish buffet lunch. The range of food available is dazzling and not one person on our table complained of poor quality. The desserts in particular were delicious and abundant! Most hotel buffets in HK are around $500, the Big Bay is around $350 / person, an absolute steal considering the great quality. They even had children's entertainers to occupy all the little people, and gorgeous views to boot. Could not be more highly recommended.

cold seafood & fruits are tasteless; tuna sashimi is tasteless as well... not many choices of fresh veggies and cheeses; I think jam and honey are the must in the bread corner but I couldn't find them; appetizers are fine; roasted beef is the best among the hot plates which is tender & juicy with rich favour; deserts are great; comfortable environment with spacious seats, open sea view and quality services.

Yelp
Came here with family for a 2020 Celebration Luncheon! The Big Bay Cafe offers an extensive buffet for lunch so we decided to give it a try! Once you are in the dining area, you are attracted to the vast openness of the view the harbour, since its a lovely sunny day you can see clearly the Hong Kong Island side. Our hostess showed us our table, and with my request, they kindly accommodated us with a table with a view! I really like the layout of the buffet, it is set out as individual cooking stations, with Chefs in each one, hence the food is more or less cooked right in front of you, each item is freshly made and presented well. Highlight of my meal : Slow Cooked Australian Beef, Roasted Leg of Lamb, Assorted Sashimi and their Ice Cream selection!! Special mention of the pastries, all of them are of top quality and in today's HK buffet scene, I would put them on top 3 of amongst the major hotels. You can choose to have Valet Parking that is complimentary for the first 2 hours, which is more then enough time. All in all, a great experience, with all the top quality food, attentive service and great view, a combination that is well worth coming!
