5 stars to Thomas for helping me with a smooth check in and all the support I needed during my stay. The hotel is great! Close to the main tourist attractions, supermarket, wonderful view from the lake, nice staff, clean and comfortable room. I highly suggest that you stay here! Louie also deserves a 5 stars for his kindness and his laugh!

Will never stay here. We paid $29.88 for "early check-in." Arrived at 1:30pm, only to be told the room wasn't ready. We finally checked in around 2:45pm--which is not early check-in. Then we saw the room. Filthy and unsanitary. Maxi pad wrapper in the toilet. Dirty floors. Red finger prints on the curtains. Hair and other debris on the bed comforter. We stayed two minutes and returned to the front desk. I told the front desk clerk we wouldn't be staying and returned the room key. Of course, he said "their policy is no refunds."

I had an awesome stay at this property! The room was clean, smelled fresh, and had all the modern upgrades you'd expect from a new property. The TV worked perfectly with no issues. It's clear that the property has undergone some major improvements, and I was really impressed by the changes. It's a shame the 3.5 stars are still reflecting the old owners because the new management is doing an amazing job!||||Speaking of which, Louie, the new manager, was fantastic. He truly takes pride in the property and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is top-notch. He was super friendly when we checked in and always had a smile on his face whenever we saw him. You can tell he really cares about creating a great experience for guests.||||The location is also great—convenient to everything and with plenty of parking. I’ll definitely be staying here again! Highly recommend!

My dogs and I went to stay at this hotel for a 5 day promotion they were running and I have to say I’m impressed with the new general manager & the improvements he is implementing at this lakeside hotel. Our room was very clean & newly updated. Also the internet was fast which is much appreciated. I loved sitting in front of the fireplace since it was a stormy chilly week. Sitting out on the balcony with my morning coffee was also a joy. The staff was friendly & helpful. The beach was clean & we enjoyed waking around the courtyard area as well. This hotel is also more dog friendly than other “dog friendly” hotels we have stayed at which is very important to me. We really enjoyed our stay & look forward to future stays!

We recently stayed here for one night. The manager Louie and the front desk staff Janeth were both very friendly, and they made us feel very welcoming! They were also very efficient when we wanted to switch our original room reservation to a lake view room. I will come back here next time when we visit Big Bear.

Google
The new manager is amazing he made me feel so welcome , his passion is infectious and Alma is a beast, I was sorry that I was in a hurry and had to leave the conversation but this place is amazing. Great location easy to walk to the village and on the lake! and let's be honest for the price 5 out 5. The personalized welcome on the tv is amazing! Must must stay!

Do yourself a favor, DO NOT STAY HERE! The beds in this motel are not fit for human beings. They are made of metal coil springs that are so old they creak and sag all the way to the bed frame when you try to lie down. There was literally no cushion between the metal coil and the top sheet, so you feel as though you are laying directly on the metal coils. My back was completely trashed by the morning. My room had no heat, and they only had one thin quilt on the bed for warmth. Given the temps outside were in the 30's overnight, how could there not be a heater!?? I was freezing all night long and completely unable to sleep on the metal coils. The bathroom was clean, but the room smelled like back-up sewer. It was disgusting. In addition, when I walked up to check in, the manager was on the phone using extremely foul language complaining about someone not showing up for work. In all the years I have vacationed in motels, this was the worst motel manager I have ever met, and the worst motel experience I have ever had.

If I could give 0 stars I would, we checked into a room and the door would not lock, there was a expired chicken in the fridge that made the room smell and the TV did not even turn on. They moved us to another room and it was not clean, there were crumbs everywhere the thermostat in the room did not work so it was really hot!!! I get that the place is in the mountains and this isn't the Ritz Carlton, but how hard is it to sweep and clean. Spoke to Louie in the front office and he would not work with us, didn't even offer to send someone up to sweep the crumbs off the floor or clean the table. The best he said he could do is give 15% off. Out of all the different places in big bear I highly recommend going somewhere else!!!!

Yelp
Decided to go to Bog Bear last minute with wife and looked up places to stay and property came up. It was a pleasant experience and property was very well kept and staff was very welcoming and rooms was clean. Highly recommend

Yelp
We had an incredible experience at Big Bear Lake Front Lodge From the moment I arrived, Louie went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The check-in process was smooth, and the service was impeccable throughout my visit. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I will definitely come back here

Yelp
As someone who visits Big Bear at least three times a year, Lake Front Lodge is our go to spot. We have stayed at numerous Big Bear locations over the years, and this has become our home away from home these past two years. When choosing a hotel, yes price does come into play, but the most important thing is closeness to our destination (it is within walking distance of the village), comfort, cleanliness and customer service. Lake Front Lodge never disappoints. This weekend we came up to celebrate one of my daughters' birthdays and as usual, we were able to check in on time, the room was clean and comfortable, and Louie and staff were welcoming and helpful. Sure there are 5 star hotels out there, but they rarely give you that 'at home' feel. Looking forward to our next visit!

Yelp
We booked a room at Big Bear Lakefront Lodge for a family Christmas vacation. First of all, the bathroom sink was clogged and smelled terrible, so that we couldn't sleep all night. We sprayed a whole bottle of perfume to make it at least a little bearable. We had to wash our hands and face in the kitchen sink which was disgusting. Since they knew already that the room was booked, it had to be fixed beforehand. Next, you might not believe it, but they only left a half of hand-cut scotch for washing the dishes Then, they had recently done some conversation and there was dust everywhere. Just arrived and tired of driving, we decided to enjoy the view of the lake while drinking our coffee on the balcony; however, the chairs were buried in a layer of dust, so that my husband and I had to clean them to use. And the last but not least was the horrible WiFi connection which got disconnected on and off giving me hard time completing my remote job today. By the way, if you decided to book a room here, don't forget to bring your shampoo hand soap On the top all all, the awful room the front desk person was really disrespectful and talked to me like playing and clinging to the words. I will never recommend it to anybody

Yelp
Friendly staff. Nice room, Nice view. Quiet place. Recommended. We came in early and the gentleman allowed us to check.

Yelp
We stayed this past weekend for my birthday. It was such a relaxing stay here! I'm so glad I found this lodge and decided to book with them. We reserved a room with a lake view which was absolutely lovely. We stayed in room 12, but I think next time I'll request a room on the second level. I loved how close we were to the village! The staff was lovely and kind, and check in was quick and easy. I definitely plan on returning in the future.

Yelp
Excellent place to stay! Fare prices, nice and happy staff, good location :) Worth it

Nicholas C.

Yelp
Great service and friendly staff! The hot tub in the Lakeview suite was fantastic! Would recommend booking directly through the hotel for the best price and service!

Ramona S.

Yelp
Louie was great. They worked with me on the price and the room is huge. I would stay there again

Terri C.

Yelp
wonderful place to stay! so cozy and comfortable! Having a fireplace in the room is quite a finishing touch to a winter night!

Yelp
Beautiful Room, super clean and nice aesthetic . Beautiful View!!! We only stayed one night but We are so glad we chose this hotel:)

Yelp
Loved my little getaway. The new manger is so pleasant to deal with and he is continuing to make positive changes to this hotel. This hotel now feels like home, it is very nostalgic and cozy. The rooms are super clean, there is an easy to use, working tv, which is hard to find these days. They are very accommodating and even upgraded our stay. The lake is gorgeous and serene. I'll be staying here again.

Yelp
Manager Louie Was HORRIBLE!!! There was throw up in my sink and my heater was not working, they didn't have a key because previous guest took it, when Louie came to my room he literally blamed me for the throw up in the sink like WOW! What kind of person would do that. So disrespectful! Linen were filthy, floors were filthy and have the Nerve to charge $350 Run people! Run!. It was FREEZING with no heat

Yelp
The list of reasons why this place is terrible is long. Rather than go on and on with paragraphs of words to read, I'll keep it short by confirming this place was god awful for us. Sure, the view and location are amazing, but as accommodations go, I would never recommend anyone staying here. It is clear this place is extremely poorly managed from the top down. If this is the last hotel in town available, then find a different town. Zero stars if I could...negative stars. Response to Louie C from Nov 12...you legit started our first conversation when I arrived that my room wasn't ready because you had no staff. Who was I going to call? Then you lied to my friend about his lake view room not being ready when we all already had seen it had been double booked to another family. We could see them through the window, we knew you booked it out to someone else, yet you spun some tale about housekeeping being short staffed and they were still working on it. I had zero confidence to attempt calling the office. Guest complaints = Excuses/made-up stories. These were just two instances of many. Chewed up dog bone left over from previous guest that I cut my foot on, TV that didn't work, freezer that was frosted over, not enough parking, dirty, run down rooms, couldn't check-in on-time, not enough towels or TP, no complimentary juice or coffee as advertised, and here's the biggest kicker...as a "valued guest" you refused to let me use the rest room when I arrived even though you have one in the laundry room just below the office. My room wasn't ready (short-staffed) and I had nowhere to go after a 3 hour drive. I begged you for a restroom, you made me pee in a cup in the car. You have zero value for your guests. Actions speak louder than words. You can write here all you want that you strive for this, and would be happy to assist with that, and you take feedback seriously, but as an actual guest that stayed in your hotel and met you face to face, that's just not true.

Tracie R.

Yelp
Steer clear of this place. Much better places to stay in town!!!! We arrived to find what looked like a pretty run down place. There was no one in the office/room to check us in, so we had to call a number to get checked in. While waiting, we were smelling a lot of marijuana coming from somewhere. Here comes a young girl in slippers walking towards us. She didn't say hello, didn't look as us, nothing. She just walked up and opened the door and walked in. We assumed we were to follow. We went in a got checked in as we had purchased the 1 night through Expedia. She required another $100 on my credit card to be returned when we left the following day. Which ironically is funny after seeing the property. She gives us the key, tells us where to go to find our room and we go. We get to the other side where our room was located and park. Right there in front of our room between us and the lake was a large family with a bunch of kids. They were bbqing, playing basketball, playing music and smoking a bong! Hence the marijuana smell. We get inside our room and it just looks unclean and really run down. We opened our sliding door and there was the partying family right outside. We then realized that we had no toilet paper, no towels of any kind, no soap, no shampoo, nothing. We had to keep calling the "office" to get these items. So we left, went to dinner and came back a couple of hours later and the partiers were still there and we did get what we needed for our room left at our door. We both looked around the room and decided we really weren't comfortable staying at the property. And we were also concerned about the beds. So we called the office, told her that we were leaving and why. There are lots of really nice properties to choose from in Big Bear. This is one to avoid for sure!!!

Yelp
yes, I would like to congratulate Louis Cardenas one of the most phenomenal people that I know he is very respectful hard-working and will make anything happen for your family or for a great time in big bear. I've deal with lots of people in the past, but nobody compares to Mr. Cardenas. god bless !

Yelp
This lodge stunned me and reminded me of the famous Hotel Carter in New York's Time Square. If you don't know about this hotel, Google it. I am not a negative person who enjoys trashing businesses just trying to make a living these days, however, this could not be ignored. When we checked in on Thursday January 9th, I was asked to leave a $100 credit deposit. I said...No problem, I understand. When we got into the hotel room #2 which has two large beds, we noticed a few odd things starting to unfold. The kitchen blind, which anyone walking by can see in, did not have any string or a way to be pulled down. As a result, I went to the front desk and VERY POLITELY asked the young lady if they were aware of this blind (I've worked customer service my whole life, so that's the reason I always try to be cheerful) The young lady said... No and that she was a new employee. I said...Maybe I can cover it with a towel. So, I went back to see and noticed there was only had a small floor towel and a regular towel. Then I realized there was no way to hang the towel over. Then my wife tried to turn the TV on but there was no on/off button on their Roku controller. It also had no volume control. This got stranger by the minute trying to settle into this place. I turned the TV on the old fashion way underneath and also adjusted the volume underneath, but I was concerned that maybe another hand controller was missing, so I went to the front desk again. Again, I VERY POLITELY explained to the young lady that there was no way to hang the towel and that there appeared to be no separate controller for the TV. She didn't know anything about this. I also asked for some extra towels. She said they didn't have any on hand but she would make sure to get some. Again, I VERY POLITELY said...Okay, thank you. She also said we could get the room upstairs instead and I said... I'd prefer not to have to lug our things upstairs and would just try to make this room work. She suggested if I was willing to get onto the counter that maybe I could pull the blind down, but I also explained that I was concerned and didn't want to damage anything. She said not to worry, so I said...Okay I'll give that a try. I apologized to complain and tried not to ruin her night. I went back and it worked! The blind was able to be pulled down. My wife then tried to take a shower using the only towel, but then we noticed there was no shower curtain but wait, this gets stranger still. So, I went to the front desk again and VERY POLITELY asked if they have a shower curtain on hand and I'd attach it myself. She said they didn't have one. I said....Okay we'll just be careful not to wet the floor. After my wife showered, she noticed that she couldn't wrap the towel around herself because it was too small. At this point I'm just thinking.....omg, if I have to go to that front desk again, this young lady is going think I'm nuts. We finally got some towels from the lodge. We then checked out Saturday January 11th about 10am but before we did that, my wife who is from the Philippine's who also worked in hotels herself emptied all the trash bags, tied them in a knot and left them by the door. She fixed the bed's so things looked presentable to the room service because she has great respect for room service employees. As we checked out, I VERY POLITELY asked that they credit my deposit back and they said, no problem. We were always respectful and polite in good faith regardless of the problems. We were never rude or upset and just tried to work though it all. We got home two hours later, and to add further insult to injury, I got a text message that I was charged and additional $59.75 and this is when I got very upset but it gets worse. I can't call them because when you call their phone number 909-866-8271, it says "Your call cannot be completed at this time". Again and again I tried, to no avail. I still have no idea what this charge is and even if I did, I am insulted that we should be charged after all we went through and we left the room clean. I called and disputed the charge with my bank. There are two sides to every story, but this is exactly how it went down.

Yelp
The lake view is amazing here, especially if you have a lake view room, you can open your patio door and just overlook everything. I like that they also have a basketball hoop, little playground area, and picnic tables for when the weather is nice. Walking distance into the main square, my room was cozy, the beds were fine for an overnight stay, a nice Roku TV, free parking, free wifi (had some trouble with it at first but the front desk helped me as soon as I reached out), fridge AND a microwave which is rare these days, and my favorite was the in room electric fireplace! Everything was fine, my only gripe were there were some stains around (not enough to make a deal out of but I can see some super fancy people having an issue with it) and the bathroom shower leaked a bit when I showered but stopped once the water was turned off. They even have a little discount card if you return! I will definitely be back.

Peter R.

Yelp
The bathroom needed cleaning and there is mold developing on the bathroom ceiling. Thee was also hair on the ceiling and in the tub. The fire place could not be used and the promise to come by and show how to start it up never happened. One of the beds did not have mattress cover. The chains for the overhead fan were too long and always hits you in the head when you enter or leave the bathroom. The room-service did not come as promised for 9 am and we ended up cleaning the bathroom ourselves. I had to go back to remind you twice. When we complained about those things we were told those were personal preferences and that you were under construction of which we could not see or was mentioned during. booking. Also the pictures shown on the internet were somewhat deceiving of the bathroom tile.

Flavio D.

Yelp
Don't ever stay here is the worst hotel. There is a big bear. Does she turn uncomfortable? The bed springs are coming out of the bed. It's not clean. The only good thing about this place is a view at the lake and it's so expensive not even worth the day.

Ravi K.

Yelp
I was extremely ill-treated and charged for a room that didn't deserve to be rented out in the first place. Rooms do have issues, but the key thing here is: a. HUGE problems. b.Not bothering to fix them and renting them out. c. not bothering about it even after customer reports it. Full details below with supporting pictures available. 1. No towels in the room. We had to dress up again, wear our shoes and walk down to the office to get them. 2. Room was very dirty when we moved in. There was lot of smell of weed as well. (picture of mat at the floor entrance available) 3. Main room light was not working. 4. Bathroom door would not even close shut, leave alone lock. (picture available). Sadly, an old issue that was not fixed prior to renting out. There is paint OVER the broken hole and the front desk calmy admitted - oh yea, its been like that since a while now.. !!. 5. Heater was SUPER OLD and extremely noisy throughout the night. Front desk didn't bother on any of these issues. They couldn't anyways, and admitted that the owner doesn't care and things have not been fixed for a long time. Having a broken thing in the room is one thing, happily giving out a dilapidated room and charging big $$ for it is clearly not business. Strongly advise to not stay here even if it is free. Front desk guys are nice, but the management is definitely doing wrong.

Danielle F.

Yelp
I wanted to thank the staff for their great hospitality. My family & I enjoyed our stay here. The view was gorgeous, the room was pleasant & clean. I loved how the village was so close. We will be returning next month!

Yelp
This is a beautiful place with the Only Lake Front Hotel in Big Bear, with its cozy rooms and gorgeous views this Big Bear Lake Front Lodge is a great place for family, romantic escapes or holiday gatherings! Book in advance as rooms are limited and going fast! The newly promoted manager, Louie Cardenas takes pride in exceeding customer expectations!  Call ahead of time and let him know if you have a birthday, anniversary or any other special occassion! If you have anyone to impress this location is sure to please! Enjoy your stay!

Jonathan S.

Yelp
This place was the most fun i've had in the longest time. Me and my fiancé came up here before our wedding to just get some alone time and we came across this place and we knew we had to stay here because it just looks so amazing. Even when we walked inside we still felt amazing because of their new management. But me and my fiancé will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time and also be in walking distance from everything.

Patcharin O.

Yelp
I want to give this place 25 stars! 5 for the wonderfully clean rooms, 5 for the great TV action, 5 for the recent upgrades, and 10 for that rockstar manager! I wouldn't stay anywhere else if you paid me!

Clara G.

Yelp
This place should have zero stars. They were dirty and we had one small hand towel. We had booked another weekend there before we knew how bad this place was. My husband got sick. We had the medical records showing he couldn't travel. They would not refund us anything.

Steven C.

Yelp
Amazing time in this hidden paradise. Not overcrowded, quiet and you experience a sense of serenity. If you need out of the big city for a minute, this is the place.

Michael G.

Yelp
We got there to check in at 3:00. On time. Room wasn't ready until 4:00. We get into the room, it's the wrong room. Then about a half hour later we get moved into the right room after telling office staff. Only to find our room that they moved us into was trashed and disgusting. I honestly hate saying this stuff, and this is my first ever yelp review, but felt it necessary in my heart to warn others not to come here. They sort of cleaned the room after talking to office staff again and then we come to realize the heater/fireplace doesn't work, none of the outlets worked, the floors were dirty as all hell, broken furniture, ice and water leak in the refrigerator. At that point, I could stay there and have me, my girlfriend and my step daughter freeze through the night, or go find something else regardless before night time to make sure my family doesn't freeze. A day or two has passed and we found somewhere else that is really nice. Tried repeatedly to get my money back (because I didn't even stay the first night, booked to stay 4 nights) and was refused.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Just checked out of big bear lake front lodge, friendly staff and very clean rooms. I definitely love the room decor and the comfy feeling. The balconys are so peaceful to sit on when the snow is falling. The people at the front desk are amazing and so sweet and helpful. Definitely coming back to stay!

Frank H.

Yelp
This is our family's second time staying at Lake Front Lodge and it looks like we will be making this our go to every year when we visit Big Bear. Louie and the staff were very friendly and accommodating and ensured that we were comfortable and needed for nothing. The room was clean and housekeeping checked in on us every day. I have and will continue to recommend the Lake Front Lodge to my friends and colleagues and know they will not be disappointed.

Audreana D.

Yelp
I would give this place a 0 star if I could! This place is very dirty and gross! The room had hair all over the floor, dirty walls, stains on the blankets, dirty towels and smelled really bad! The tv barely worked! The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I don't recommend staying here!

Lucky G.

Yelp
The tub was clotted when I turned on water, i ran to the office, nobody was there! I unclotted the tub myself. I turned on the heat and set it at 68 degree, after it reached 68, it still kept heating, I had to turn it off and returned on at 2am. Breakfast was a joke, a few pcs of berry horns, manager said no more... terrible hotel, oh no, motel... charged $250/night, won't come again!

Nadia M.

Yelp
This is at best a 3 star motel. Very old and outdated. But clean. Lady at the front counter gave off major racist vibes. Tried to tell me it wasn't a pet friendly hotel when I have a service dog. The views from the lakefront room was great. Small patio with chairs. Had a ping pong table which my kid enjoyed. Other staff at the lodge were very pleasant and helpful.

Vanessa O.

Yelp
Arrived and checked in with Tara, she was an absolute pleasure to work with and a huge help, explaining our room location, best place to park and how to walk down to the lake. Our room was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The water was warm and pressure was perfect, my boys enjoyed a nice bubble bath after a long day of snow play. They have a play ground and slide area for kids. It was perfect. It is a little older than some resorts near by but very clean and for the price you can't beat it! We can't wait to come back!

Moe J.

Yelp
The staff at Big Bear Lake Front Lodge are very welcoming and professional. We went to Big Bear to enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and lake but we are coimg back because of the people. Thank you so much Louie, Vincenta, Alma, et al. for making our stay with you so lovely and memorable. Im already back in the city but i was already missing the Big Bear Lake Front Lodge when we were checking out:( :"D I CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!

Tia M.

Yelp
Great place to unwind, relax and enjoy the lake view. I highly recommend the guest rooms with balconies that overlook the lake.

Jazmin R.

Yelp
Love this place I have been here 2 times with friends and I like the upgrades that the new manager is making , everything is nice and clean. Will be back again

Nora V.

Yelp
Been there multiple times, and tbis last time was absolutely the best, property was having some upgrades done, but still was able yo enjoy! The beach area was extremely cool to enjoy the rooms were very clean, the staffwas friendly, TVS were upgraded to Roku tvs! And the new manger Louie is super awsome! Owner found a winner this time with the current manger.

Yelp
Even though the lake is pretty much gone so this is no longer a lake front lodge, I did enjoy my stay here. I was just about to book another stay here for 2 weeks but just called and they no longer take dogs :( Unfortunately, I don't be staying here anymore.

Yelp
We took our grandchildren on a weekend in the snow 1/12/24, we stood here two nights, clean and as expected, quite too. Our room had two queen beds, kitchenette with sink, fridge, coffee maker and microwave. They offered a continental breakfast every morning before 10am. The staff was friendly. We had no issues with our stay, will stay here again. THANK YOU.

Yelp
Went to our room and the TV did not work. We went downstairs multiple times and told front desk we do not have a working tv. Was told they're trying to figure it out and find another tv. Well waited and no tv was told sorry there is not another tv but will give you a discount on your next stay!!! Why would I ever come back if they can't fix this issue now! The bathroom is gross shower dirty! Do not stay here seriously!

Yelp
DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst place EVER! The beds were OLD coil springs that creaked and sagged all the way to the bed frame when you sat on them. There was absolutely no cushion left on them. I did not sleep all night because of the pain of the metal coils in my back, and my back was killing me in the morning. The temps outside were in the 30's, and this room had NO HEATER so I was freezing all night! The manager is incredibly rude, and the bathroom smelled like backed up sewer. They make you sign a no refund policy before you see the room. Just do yourself a favor, believe all the negative reviews and stay anywhere else but here!

Yelp
Reserved a lake view room. Given the key to room #15, and the key didn't work. Watched the front desk clerk leave to try his master key. He came back and said the housekeeper took the key home and would bring it back in about 5 minutes. He never went to room #15 because my girlfriend was waiting outside the room. He and the other person working in the front office told me they were going to try to open the room again. He comes back and offers me a "better room" right across from #15 (not a lake view room). I said okay to that, and when leaving for dinner noticed that someone was indeed staying in the room I was supposed to be in! Why lie about it? Slider was unlocked in the room, and the only window in the room was wide open. Safety issue. I will definitely never be staying at this place in the future.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay; it's a pretty location on the lake. It feels a bit like camping - it has almost a cabin-like feel to it. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, there were a lot of little things... for instance, when we used the oven to make a pizza, it started to smoke so much the smoke alarm went off. It was accumulated grease on one of the metal shelves inside the oven. I took it out and cleaned it. There was only one roll of toilet paper, we had to ask the front desk for more for our two-night stay. We had booked two separate nights (long story) and mentioned this to the front desk (he was very helpful overall, don't get me wrong), but then on our second day the manager called us at 11:30am plainly a bit annoyed that we had booked "one night" and should have checked out by then - don't they have notes in the system to make it clear we were there for two nights? The room itself was fine, but it got very cold at night because there's no thermostat per se; just a gas fireplace you have to manually turn on and off, and it seems that after a while it turns itself off (in the middle of the night) so it gets very cold. They give a very small amount of shampoo, etc., though they were happy to give us more when we asked. Overall, it's fine, but definitely a very rustic, kind of cabin-like experience.

Yelp
Wonderful experience! Had a late check in and they accommodated my late check in by leaving the room open and warming it up when we arrived. Wonderful experience and location and will definitely be back.
