This was an absolutely amazing tour. Our tour guide Bailey was kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. She was in the water with us the whole time and took great care to provide us with all the relevant information about the wildlife and areas we were snorkeling. We had a total of 8 people on our tour and it was phenomenal. Compared to some of the other tour companies that had like 20-30 people ours felt unique in that we were so small. It was as close to a private tour as you can get without spending crazy money. Our captain Gustavo was fantastic! He stopped and let us check out the local dolphins. The free shuttle to and from our resort was a great bonus. Big Blue Collective absolutely killed it!

We went out on July 18, 2025 and had the MOST fantastic time on the Edge of the Banks full-day snorkeling tour. Initially we thought it was only for divers, but it's actually designed for enthusiastic snorkelers. Fresh snacks provided after each snorkeling session (we went to 3 locations, and 1 beach stop), such a fruits and chips. Lunch was buffet-style of curried fish, meats, rice, coleslaw salad, and premixed rum drinks were incredible enjoyed on the beach break. The Kusi boat was comfortable, modern and clean, top-class. We liked Big Blue so much that we went back the next day to get paddleboards and venture out to the mangroves. Saw tons of turtles as promised! Professional and informative team, extra shout-out to Gus the captain and Mickey our adventurous guide who spotted all the critters we hoped to see!

We had an amazing experience! Hugo and Dre were amazing guides, And ensured that we had a one-of-a-kind snorkeling experience. The company on as a whole was super accommodating when I mistakenly forgot to finalize our reservation. They quickly arranged for a boat for us without missing a beat! They provided us an event whose memories will last us a lifetime!

Mikey & Nadia were passionate, informative & just EXCELLENT!!! Outstanding tour—it literally brought me to tears. I was sobbing. It was so beautiful. The amount of tropical creatures we saw was STUNNING. I highly recommend this tour. We saw eagle rays, nurse sharks, honeycomb cowfish, angel queen fish, angel trigger fish. It was unbelievable. It was so much fun. It was the best tour I’ve ever been on. AND the lunch was top notch!!! Best meal we’ve had so far on the island!!!

Our trip to Turks and Caicos coincided with Hurricane Oscar making landfall, so we had quite a bit of stormy weather. However, on the one clear day we were lucky to get, we jumped at the chance to go kayaking in the mangroves and visit Iguana Island. We rented our kayaks from Big Blue Collective, and they were fantastic! I had emailed them a few days before to confirm timing, as kayaking is dependent on the high tide. They were very responsive and helpful, so I highly recommend calling ahead for anyone planning to go. When we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and gave us a thorough briefing before we headed out on the water. My husband and I opted for a tandem kayak and spent about two hours paddling around the mangroves and exploring Iguana Island. We were able to spot some turtles and iguanas, which made the experience even more memorable. The water was a bit rough, which may have been due to the hurricane, but it just required a little more effort on our part. If you’re generally active, you shouldn’t have any issues handling it. Overall, we had a great experience renting from Big Blue Collective. Even though we did the excursion on our own, I can imagine their guided tours would be excellent too. Highly recommend them for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Turks and Caicos!

Edge of Banks snorkel trip is an easy-going, adventurous day trip. I say adventurous because what and where we went and what happens depends upon nature..We saw whales relatively close to us, so we stayed with them and enjoyed their interactions with each other, as it is mating season. Because we spent time watching them, we went to two snorkel instead of three. We saw a lobster swimming, a nurse shark “scratching its back” on the ocean floor, many sea fans rhythmically swaying, and beautiful seascapes. Calem (spelling?) and Bailey, our guides, are extremely bright and informative (both marine biologists) and warm, people who are a pleasure to be with. I couldn’t recommend this more highly. The lunch and snacks were delicious! Thank you.

I’d give more than 5 stars if I could! Captain Naja and First Mate Bailey were amazing. They were very gracious hosting us and providing an unforgettable day for our family. They gave us some great info as we learned a tiny bit about Turks and Caicos today. The snorkeling spot was incredible. Tons of fish to see and the beautiful reef and ecosystem. We had a blast with the seadoo and seabob as well. They even managed to get us an up close encounter with a couple dolphins.

Had such an amazing day on the water with The Big Blue Collective; it truly was magical, and we did not want to leave! The staff was amazing from the moment we stepped into the reception, to the boat crew and the follow up. (Allie the captain and Mitch; Five GOLD STARS.) They were very informative if you wanted to know history, things you can do to help the island and environment and supportive of the island. They wanted to know what we wanted and catered to how the day unfolded. It truly was a magical day and highly recommend them and we will look into diving with them next time! Thanks for a Great time!
