TL;DR: Overcharged and underwhelmed.
Service was friendly and I was immediately greeted. The spot appears to receive a lot of foot traffic from the nearby school(s).
I ordered their chicken sandwich combo with sweet potato fries and a soda. I wanted to try their tea, but wasn’t ready to pay the $2 and bring my lunch price to $15+.
The sweet potato fries were not good at all. Had I not drizzled a generous amount of ketchup on them they would’ve ended up in the trash. They were hard and bland.
The chicken sandwich was oozing a creamy white-ish sauce that strangely provided no flavor. The crunch of the chicken was great, but the texture was mixed. Some bites were juicy and some bites had the hardness that I’ve experienced in freezer burnt meat. I eventually grew tired of the bun, lettuce, and tomato sliding all over the place and ate most of the chicken sans the other sandwich ingredients.
While struggling to enjoy the final bites of my meal I did some quick mental math and realized that the combo is actually more expensive than ordering each item individually. Before tax the combo is currently $13, but the three items purchased individually come to $11.50. The employee that I spoke with tried to explain that some items have different prices then said that the manager is responsible for pricing.
I’d return, but only for a beverage.
