We rolled into Big Daddy’s Grill hungry and hopeful, but apparently so did half the county. The waitress was real honest with us and said we could order… but it’d be about a 90-minute wait. Now I don’t know about you, but if I wanted to wait an hour and a half for food, I’d have brought a lawn chair and a crossword puzzle.
The place was clearly popular, and I’ll give them credit — the staff was upfront and polite. We just weren’t prepared to make a long-term commitment to dinner. Might try again on a slower day, preferably when dinner doesn’t come with a waiting period longer than a football game.
