Gorgeous location, the views are amazing and the trails are fun to walk in, the photos don’t do it justice. I just wish the North Little Rock side had more updated commodities; other than that it’s a must visit for both tourists and locals.

This area is great! Trails to walk/run/bike, fishing is really popular here as well. Beautiful views from the elevated bridge overlooking the Arkansas River. If I lived near here, I’d frequent Big Dam Bridge a lot!

It wasn't as steep as I thought it would be, a much easier walk than you imagine as it is such a long low slope. We are moderately fit people that will do our best to pretend our lungs don't burn after a short incline, but we didnt even need to stop and catch our breath on this, it was a comfortable walk, we saw several people pushing strollers and wheelchairs that did not seem to be struggling at all. Go to the bathroom before you start, its still a pretty long walk.

Great place to walk and take in some fresh air from the river and enjoy great views of Pinnacle Mt. Lots of great trails and paths to walk for many miles in either direction, for runners and hikers.

This is my go to walk when in Little Rock. Was sad to see so much broken glass in the parking lot. Clear there have been some cars broken into recently. But it is a nice walk up and over the bridge.

The Big Dam Bridge in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a must-visit spot for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Spanning over the Arkansas River, it offers stunning panoramic views of the river, surrounding landscapes, and wildlife. As the longest pedestrian and cycling bridge in the United States, it’s perfect for walking, jogging, or biking, providing a peaceful and scenic escape from the city. The bridge is well-maintained, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy, and offers several vantage points for photo opportunities. The sunset views from the bridge are particularly breathtaking. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or an active outdoor experience, the Big Dam Bridge is a fantastic destination. It's also a great spot for families, couples, or solo adventurers looking to take in the natural beauty of the area. The only downside is that it can get quite windy at times, but overall, it's an iconic spot in Little Rock that shouldn’t be missed.

I enjoyed the walk, very beautiful, although, the railing was so tall it was hard for me to video the walk. But I understand the need for the railing. It's a very tall bridge that's over a very rapidly flowing Arkansas River. Should someone fall from that height it would be fatal. There are lots of readings along the bridge that tells about the river, the Dam, and the natural birds to that area. I was lucky, or blessed by God, it was supposed to be closed the day I went, for maintenance, however, the crane wasn't able to get there that day so it stayed open. If you watch my video, I read each plaque as I went through along with the information regarding the history of the River and Park. I thought it was interesting, that the local Doctors helped to pay for it, in an effort to keep the population healthy. It must be working. The whole time I've visited this area, I've only seen two other people who were obese. I believe just going over the bridge was worth the money to come here. I've seen so much more though. This was truly, an awesome get away for me.
