Great place to stay awesome hostess Mary. Very clean & great location walking distance to a great snorkelling reef & many great restaurants & a fab bakery! Plan on returning for longer next time. AC was good as was shower pressure. Lil Miranda is an absolute doll. Wifi worked so good 😁

We enjoyed our stay at Big Fish. They found a crib for us, which was very nice of them. They were also very accommodating for the milk for my son's bottles, which I could keep in their fridge. The bathroom was very small, which was my least favourite part, as well as the cold showers. There is a nice beach right in front and a great restaurant attached as well. I recommend the "rundown" soup, fantastic! The laundry service is also fabulous! I would stay here again!

We recently stayed 3 nights over New Year's at Big Fish Guest House, and likely have found our new home base for whenever we head to the Corn Islands.||||Communication with the owner and her daughter (who owns and operates the Sea Side Grill, just across the street from the guest house - and totally worth eating at!) before our trip was smooth and hassle-free. Response time was very quick, and we used them to arrange taxis from/to the airport and also the boat dock for our panga to Little Corn Island. ||||We stayed in unit #5, which had a full-size bed, a small refrigerator, and air conditioning along with a private bathroom with shower. The room was spacious enough for us and our belongings, and the bed was comfortable. The property was clean (daily maid service) and the location perfect on the north side of the island. ||||Just a few minutes by taxi to numerous eateries and beaches. As noted above, the Sea Side Grill warrants a visit for great food and cold beers on a beautiful stretch of sandy beach. ||||The rooms are a great value in a terrific location on Corn Island. What really puts Big Fish over the top was the service and attention we received as guests. Whenever we had a question, Mary had an answer. Whenever we wanted to pre-arrange a taxi ride, she took care of it. She even had coffee made for us on the morning of our departure. ||||We will undoubtedly look to stay at Big Fish on future trips to the Corn Islands.

Where to start with a review for ‘Big Fish’ ?! ||||My girlfriend and I initially booked are stay for two nights, which not only escalated for an instant extension to five after our first one, but furthermore, returning for a further three after visiting little corn. ||||We were greeted with a much needed warm welcome after the long boat ride, where Mary quickly demonstrated her impeccable hospitality skills. We were shown to our beautifully contemporary room, with; air conditioning, smart tv and a beautiful bathroom. ||||The following morning the two head waitresses introduced themselves and by the end of the trip became one of the main pulls to the restaurant with their bubbly personalities personifying their general happy attitudes to life which was very infectious. The food was brilliant and great value for money over looking perfectly white beaches and the clear blue ocean.||||One of the highlights of the trip was being invited to Mary’s Birthday Do in the restaurant, where the fun atmosphere of the restaurant, her generosity and infectious laugh was on full show. ||||Any visit to Corn Island has to at the minimum include a visit to the restaurant opposite the hotel, but in reality, on arrival, you’ll live to regret not having a room at ‘Big Fish’ to fully enjoy the atmosphere and location!

I came to Big Corn with my cousin. Booking was easy the communication with the manager was flowey. |Taxi (arranged by them) was waiting for us at the airport (only cost us 20 cords each)|The guesthouse is nice and clean. Mary the manager arranged a small fridge for us to be installed in the room, she gave us super useful information about where to go and what to do. |The room was clean, bed is comfy. They changed and washed our bedsheet and towels every day. ||Mary has a restaurant right in front of the guest house that was pretty convenient.||We rented a bike from Frankie and we cycled around the island.... had a nice time with these peeps there. |Thank you

Nice location, fresh towels daily, close to Dos Tiburones dive shop (walk about 10 min). Air conditioned, cleaned daily, no problem with valuables disappearing. Did not hang out in the room much - just to sleep and shower. It had everything this low-maintenance gal needed. Nice attached cafe with a deck on the beach to enjoy a pina colada or meal. Accepts US dollars or cordobas. Speaks English well too, so I didn’t use my broken Spanglish. Would stay here again.

We stayed at Big Fish for one night upon our return from Little Corn. We had previously stayed on Big Corn (in the southern part) for five days but we wanted to try something on the northern part of the island (as it’s completely magical) this time around. ||Room was clean and had AC and WiFi (although it comes and goes) but we just sat outside when we needed to check things. Staff are friendly and helpful and the area is really nice and their restaurant is amazing. We ate there several times in the week before as well. ||Nice beaches close by and plenty of other cafes and restaurants, also a really good bakery. ||Would easily stay again. |

This was a 1st time visit to Corn Island and it was an awesome experience. The owner was very hospitable and recommended great places and things to do. The rooms are very big and accommodate large families. There is also a restaurant they own across the street with great food at great prices. The beach is right across the street with beautiful white sands and clear blue water. I will definitely be returning to Big Fish.
