Casual Italian resto, clean tables & restroom, staff are warm and friendly. Food portions are generous and food is decent, nothing extraordinary. There's not a long wait from the moment order is placed to serving so it's a good place for lunch break from work. Spaghetti with meatballs may be good for two. Vegetarian pizza is loaded and tastes good.

Was in the area so dropped in to grab to try one of their Philly Cheesesteak specials. Sandwich was a tad smaller that expected but was enough for lunch and good for the price. Service was quick. Plenty of seats inside and the seat up was modern, bright, and comfortable.

Drove up from San Diego. Looking for a good pizza joint with good pizza. BMPP did not disappoint. Loved the crunchy crust. The owner, Otto, was so hospitable. Will definitely be back the next time we find ourselves in Glendale!

A great underrated place for having a pizza. It didn’t seem that nice at the beginning. We were always passing by and once decided to try it. It turned out surprisingly good, very good. Right now, the “Chicken Garlic Pizza” is my favorite + I take a salad with feta and avocado, which is also nice. They also cut cookies like a pizza which is very unusual (tried the ones with blueberries and smores) - both good.

Only come here for the pizza & get any drinks that are not in a can. I went to tell the cashier I didn’t want a can anymore because it was dirty and had flies on it & he didn’t bother to tell anyone. Then bc of that, I see the lady working there rearranging the cans and doesn’t even check the top of them. These 3 cans in the photos were not even the worst ones.

I had a nice lunch here with my 3 kids. They loved the food (pasta and pizza) and enjoyed watching PSG on the big screen. The pizza carry out special was really affordable for my big family. The staff was very friendly and the owner was willing to donate a giant pizza to our i9 youth league. Thank you for the offer! We will come back soon!

Patricia the cashier took my order tonight and was pretty rude. She kept giving me and my boyfriend, as well as everyone in line a dirty look. It was almost as if she was annoyed that she had a line of people waiting to order but I mean that’s business. The food here is great and so is the atmosphere. I hate to rate the customer service 1 star but it is what it is. I hope someone sees this review and does something about it.

After an evening on the town we decided to take a local pizza joint for some eats. The old world charm near the entrance and the nearby outdoor dining area/beer garden drew us inside, and we ordered a medium Meat Lovers Pizza, Caesar Salad and a plate of Lemmon Pepper Butter Chicken Wings which were, by the way, seemingly made and ended up being delish! Looking up from our meal, I was once again impressed with the modern-yet-old-world look and feel of my surroundings. They also had a display of pizza boxes ranging from small to a building Holiday party. Everything made for an incredible experience. Not sure how the pickup deal went; but I thought the online menu was easy to read and very user friendly (we dined in ourselves).

Two different entry doors with different names on them. Confusing. Big Ol Pizza slice is supposed to have 4 slices but ttry are cut in different shapes. Clerk couldn't explain any of that to us. Pizza was very fast and delicious. Ok, bye.

Dropped by for lunch here. Ambiance is nice, the staff is friendly and the food was ok I got a sandwich and it was pretty good honestly. 7.5/10 Not something to go out of your way for but stop by if you are close.

I ordered a big papa pizza for a baseball team. When it came, it was 15 minutes late. When I opened the box all the pizza had been shifted to one side and all the one side of the pizza was burnt. I called the company to express this to them and when they were trying to figure out how to fix the situation, I kept being put on hold. At one point I was on hold for a solid 10 minutes. I hung up and tried calling back four more times and they did not answer. Almost like they had caller ID and they didn't wanna deal with it. They basically have the shittiest customer service. They get your money and they don't care about if you're happy or not. I've also emailed corporate and haven't heard back from them either! The pizza is almost $100. You should be happy with your purchase.

Heard about this place from Good Mythical Morning (aka GMM) before COViD. After seeing a musical with gf, recommend on always wanting to try the place out. Best is to pay for parking and walk to the area since it's LA Inside has a cool pizzeria vibe with limited seating but there's a bar. Happy hour is from 3pm - 6pm daily. They do have dine-in and togo specials. Sodas are fountain. Their dough is prepared freshly daily. They do have a pizza challenge that you and 7 other people have 2 hours to finish a 54'' pizza within 2H to finish for $1K prize ($125 each) but it cost $400 to enter ($50 split). Big Papa's Slice is the World's Biggest Pizza Slice (feeds 5-7 people) while Big Mama's Pizza Slice feeds 1-2 people. Decided to get Baked Meatballs, gf got the Gondola Pizza and I got Big Papa's Pizza Slice. It takes some time since their dough is prepared freshly daily. Baked Meatballs came out with 4 giant meatballs; the cheese is gooey and cheesy and sauce is very good. Comes with the ciabatta breads (thought it was breadsticks). The gondola pizza appears appetizing but what takes is the Big Papa's Slice (it extends upto 4 bar stools) and it comes with its own pizza cutter (which is yours to keep) The server ask multiple times like am I sure when I am ordering this because it feeds 5-7 people. First impression was that it was overwhelming but it's really good. It holds up. Every bite is good and I can taste the cheese and the crust is thin and not burnt. Gf loves it and her gondollla pizza (quoting its breakfast pizza with ham and cheese and egg). Overall on highly recommending the place.

Food is amazing! But customer service matters! The cashier is rude and very unkind. When you're in the front taking orders you're representing the company & your coworkers, smile and welcome clients, help them explain to them. I've been there twice and both times your service was very unpleasant., My apologies for ordering in... I hope that the owner understands the importance of well training., The food is amazing but the risk to walk in there and see your face will stop me from supporting this business. Be grateful! A lot of people don't have the luck to get up in the morning and feel useful. BE KIND! La vida es muy corta para ser tan desagradable!

Yup, they got me with the 99¢ wings sign. Especially in this day and age, we can all use a good price. At 99¢ a wing with a 6 wing minimum (comes out to $6.55 after tax), you get sauce choices of Buffalo, Honey Garlic, Sweet Chilli, BBQ, 3rd Degree, and Hot BBQ. After about 15 mins, I got my wings and only them did I learn how tiny chicken wings can be. Made sense as to why this was possible. Regardless, I devoured my six wings enjoying each crunchy bite. They are standard solid wings but they were tiny. I would like to try the egg Gondola pizza next time but for now, the wings are alright.

Big Mama Pizza has that classic, standard pizza taste with a good balance of flavors. What surprised me most was how well it held up -- I had it over several days, and it honestly tasted better each day. Solid, dependable pizza spot.

Probably the worst pizza I have never had no tomato base just a dry pizza with sown dried up toppings taste d like eating cardboard a massive waste of money go somewhere else trust me

Only went because I'd the $0.99 wings. I like the atmosphere and affordable options but this was lackluster. The service was great yet the food wasn't as spectacular. The best things were the lemon pepper and Parmesan wings. The pizza (which is what they are known for) was dry and tasted like it's been sitting out for days. They make everything fresh to order but feel opposite. Definitely wouldn't return but if I did, wings only and not the buffalo ones which was the worst. Water closets are located adjacent bar.

They have the best spaghetti lunch special. Their spaghetti was on point. So dam good. They gave me a good amount of tasty spaghetti and garlic toast. I will be coming back to try the Philly cheese steak.

I was craving a meatball sandwich and made the horrible mistake of getting it from here. I ordered it to be eaten there and it really sucked. I asked that the peppers be cooked. They weren't and were raw. To add insult to injury they wrapped it in wax paper which had the result of pulling half the cheese off creating a mess. Had the mess been tasty it would have been tolerable. It was not tasty. It was a mistake, one I won't repeat and which you should not.

Last three orders have been so disappointing. Not enough toppings, missing items from order, lack in flavor & poorly done pizzas. With almost a year between second one and this last order it was sadly no different. Going to have to find another pizza & wing place.

Let me say this. I passed this place numerous times over the past three weeks and never thought about coming in until tonight, and I've been missing out. With the many options and of pizza's and other specialty food items to choose from you'll always have something good to eat. Service was amazing and I enjoyed that they check on you after they bring your food out. I dove into the pastrami pizza and it's soooooo good. The storefront remains me of the pizza places in New York,. Make sure you try one of the many locations. You won't be disappointed

Picked up the 16" one topping pizza with regular crust. Opened the box at home to discover the bottom of the crust was black and the crust was so thin, I can't imagine if this is a regular crust what the thin crust would be like. The crust was also tough! Was very disappointing!

I love BMPP and go here frequently. Great pizza and other food options. Cheap beer/wine. Prices are very reasonable all around. BMPP is great for a single serve pizza or a huge pizza for a party.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. We ordered calzones drink. The food came timely and fresh. The restaurant is bigger than expected with sitting outside the main lobby which we had to use because the large party of graduating school-age children was taking up the main dining room. My favorite was the chicken pesto calzone. I do wish that it was a bit more in the saucy side, but the taste was good meat lovers calzone was good. At the price point, the food is a bit overpriced as we could have gotten two meals in different places for the price of one of those calzones

Spaghetti was way too, too salty. And you should not say there is no water except bottled water to sell if you wanted some water to drink there. All restaurants offer water except this one. Thumbs down. Zero stars is the best rating.

Heart shaped pizza, COCONUT SHRIMP APPETIZER?!? This place is awesome ! They're open til midnight except Sundays open til 11. This pizza was SO GOOD !!! They put a lot of butter in the crust and the toppings were generous and went to the edge and this pizza was delicious ! More delicious than any pizza I've had for YEARS including more gourmet places that are more expensive . This place is also good on price and they have all the ingredients you can use to make you own !!!! They are so nice and friendly and I can't wait to come back for more !!!!!

Saw this sign in front of their new location on California street in Glendale. So drive around and finally find parking, put money in the meter and walk in there. The sign says 50% off limited to 3 pizzas per customer. I order a large pizza and the cashier says $19.57 or something like that. I tell him I want the special on the sign and he says you have to order two to get the deal. So I apologize and walk out because I don't want two pizzas. My wife looks at the sign again and nowhere does it say that you have to buy 2 in order to get the deal. I decide to give them another chance since I already put money in the parking meter and we really wanted to try this place. I explain the sign to the cashier thinking he'll go ask the manager. Instead he just shrugs his shoulder. This is horrible business practice. These bait and switch activities are bad for business and bad for Glendale as a city. I'm really disappointed that they try to trick people instead of just being honest and putting the correct disclosures on the signage.

I love this restaurant it has been delicious every time I have gone to get a medium sized pizza. I think the price point for there pizzas is always worth it. I have had their garlic bread as well and they are not greasy or soggy like you would get at other restaurants. You can taste the garlic without being over powered by the cheese that they place on top of their garlic bread. Their marinara sauce was a bit underwhelming but I think that is just personal preference. I like a more thicker sauce rather than a watery sauce. The employees at the cash register are always so kind and helpful to make sure I get the most for my money when it comes to ordering. I will say that it is difficult to find the restaurant doors as it is right next to another restaurant called chess. The door opens to both restaurants. The seating is limited and would be better for a party that is 6 or fewer. Each pizza is made to order and takes 25-30 mins depending on the size. If you do plan on ordering for a specific time I would suggest that you order 30 mins prior to when it is needed. As they can be a little overwhelmed at times.

Not bad at all! I'd pick this over any pizza chain. Tastes good and they have interesting pizzas if you want to try out the house stuff. Nothing to complain about, just don't expect authentic Italian pizza of course. Prices are also on point. They have beer on tap. Service was also pretty good the two times I went there. Definitely recommend.

This pizza was delicious. The flavor and the toppings. Can't wait to order the large pizza slice one day! But our office loves ordering it, especially with it being a 5 minute walk from the office!

Aw man I can really say I gave this place a chance not once but twice.. first time I ordered pizza. The slice of Pizza was not cooked through, very mushy and not good at all. Second time a Philly cheese steak sandwich... was horrible... super greasy and with lots of American cheese I want to believe or was it nacho cheese? It was nasty indeed. The authentic cheese is provolone cheese I barely ate half of it.. cause I had to eat something.. will I come back? Never

We have eaten here a few times and we really enjoy the food. The salads are wonderfully green and delicious. The pizza is great with perfect blend of sauce and cheese! BMPP is a favorite in Glendale!

4 stars for the Big Mama's Slice. I was craving pizza and visited the website. The online customization system was confusing (their $14 medium carryout deal kept coming out to $30), and there was a $1 convenience fee for online orders. Additionally, the build-your-own pizzas I tried making were significantly more expensive than their preset flavors. In the end, I ordered pickup via DoorDash because there was a $5 coupon. Even after DoorDash's $3 markup, the total was cheaper than the website. With that handled, I made my way to the restaurant. I went through two sets of double doors to get inside. The ambience was dim, but warm. I was greeted by a friendly employee. He handed over my two boxes of Big Mama's Slices. I didn't realize that one "slice" would be as big as my entire forearm! The signs said that one Big Mama's Slice equals 4 pizza slices; they weren't joking. I didn't know there would be a packet of pepper and parmesan included in each box, so I accidentally doubled up at the counter. I enjoyed the pizza dough, which was was thinner than traditional crust and thicker than NY style. The dough was not oily and had a thin, crackly layer all around the bottom. Its texture was soft, but dense (in a good way) and chewy. - Cali Famous Slice ($12.99). Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, red onion, bacon, peperoncino. The "Cali style" crust was seasoned. The pizza tasted balanced, savory and a little sweet. I usually pick off pepperoni due to saltiness, but I didn't have to with Big Mama's. The flavorful tomato sauce had a hint of something fragrant like wine. I'm not sure what it was, but I enjoyed it. The pizza was was not dry despite the sparing use of sauce. My one critique would be that I expected more toppings based on the online menu photo. It was still a fair amount otherwise. - Cheese Lovers Slice ($12.99). Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan, ricotta, and cheddar cheese. This pizza looked closer to the menu photo. It tasted fresh. Dollops of milky ricotta hit the spot!

Very good pizza But!! We open the pizza now and in the middle we eat we saw a hair It really disappointing The girl on the phone the only thing she wanted to offer was a new pizza while we had already waited 20 minutes for our order so it's not really a solution to the situation

What an experience! Made a quick road trip up to LA. We were craving some pizza. Best pizza we've had in CA. The crust was incredible! Otto, the owner, super hospitable. Would definitely come back if we come back to Glendale!

I ordered a bbq chicken and Hawaiian pizza on Friday evening. The pizza was delicious--perfectly baked with a tasty crust, generous toppings, and plenty of flavor in every bite. It's clear they take pride in what they serve. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to friends and family. Great service and great pizza all around!

We had a birthday party and decided to get one of their 36" pizzas which is $100! The pizza was burnt at the bottom pretty badly and we didn't end up finishing most of it because of an odd smell coming off the food, I assume from it being burnt. Every year for my daughter's birthday, we get BMP and last year it was great! This year not so much... but we hope it wont happen again with our next order!

Bad service. The beard guy was straight up ignorant with a nasty attitude. "No water cups"... really?? The food was at least good, but the service completely ruined it.

The pizza are very tastey the toppings are well put together n taste the way they should.Thru have good specials for pick up just wish they would have more for delivery some of us can't get out health issues. Never been to the place in person but from outside it looks very nice.

Holy cow, the wings are soooo perfectly cooked and the pizza sauce and the cook on it was perfect!!! salad was fresh and the service is good. I'd can't wait to come out again. Would 10/10 recommend!

I had one of their vegan pizza options for the first time. The crust (unseasoned) was very good. The vegan cheese and mock-meat toppings were good and each slice had the right ratio. One of the fun things about this place is all the size options. Pizza by the slice or pizza for a village... they've got it all. I will be back.

The other day we order pizza and American Egg Gondola Pizza. It was just a bomb. Very tasty. The children were satisfied. We went in the evening, they gave us another discount, it was very pleasant. The place is cozy, comfortable. The workers were very friendly.

I love this place. They have a New York style kind of pizza and also deep dish if you're into that. They have such a great variety of pizza that I feel like I can order from them every Friday night. My favorite is the extra super large pizzas that will impress any party. Definitely a must go to place for some quality pizzas in town!

Been here a couple times, first two the service was great and the guy in front gave us the Take out special even though we were eating in. This time just because the Owner was in the building all of a sudden the nice and friendly staff turned into snobby and rude. I won't be bringing my family back here unfortunately. Food is good. People are rude. Always use take out to avoid this. Also my wife was asking for cheese and the owner just stood there on his phone not paying attention. It's more than having good food, it's also how you treat your paying customers.

I have ordered twice from here and both times they are VERY off versus their stated delivery time. I was quoted around 40 minutes which is already borderline unacceptable. But actual delivery time was well over 1.5 hours. Cherry on top was the food was cold almost like they just wait till they have a number of orders and then go out one time.

I've always wanted to try this place out and just happened to be parked right out front so I went in for a slice and was shocked when a huge box came out. I was wondering why the single slice of pizza was $9! The crust:sauce:cheese:pepperoni ratio was so perfect and absolutely no soggy-ness anywhere! You can pick up a hot slice without everything sliding off and flopping everywhere from being flimsy. The cripsy and crunchiness. Amazing. Now THAT'S a pizza.

The best BMPP out there! The food was just amazing, especially the Mediterranean pizza! All their ingredients are fresh which is always a plus. The wings are sauced the right amount. The sweet chili is the absolute best one! The Caesar salad was ok as well. The outdoor seating is my favorite because it's private, but you can still enjoy the nice view! The staff is also very nice, especially the lady working the register! Thank you, guys!
