Great spot for burgers. They do by default make the party’s medium well so if you like something different make sure to speak up. The shakes are amazing the Oreo one has to be the best. I enjoyed the fries and the fry sauce. I recommend the burger with avocado and bacon but can’t remember the name. The buns are tasty and the service is pretty okay. It’s a little loud in the restaurant but I’m not sure if that has to do with seating location.

We enjoyed Big Orange a lot. My husband and two children (15 & 8), and I went for dinner. I had the Farmers burger, and my husband got the Umami burger. Both were filling and so yummy. I also got the truffle fries... which are definitely one of the most delicious fries I've ever had. I couldn't finish my food because I wanted room for dessert. I got a strawberry shake and was not disappointed! Our waitress, Courtney, was excellent! She came around to check in, get refills, and answer questions. She was helpful when we were ordering. Definitely wish we had this closer to home.

Ordered a burger, shake and truffle fries for take out. It was kind of a longer wait for a burger (about 30 minutes ) but I bet it's because of how packed they were, it seems to be a great place to visit! The burger was amazing, I enjoyed trying the truffle fries the truffle is indeed strong and the dipping sauce complimented it well. The shake was perfect. No suggestions just a wonderful place to get a burger n shake.

We got the Hickory smoke burger and big orange house salad and they were very delicious! I subbed goat cheese for blue cheese on the salad and I must say it was pretty tasty. I also added blackened chicken, which was very juicy and flavorful! The burger was cooked good and was not dry, the BBQ sauce added that perfect flavor combo for this burger! The chips and queso were very good, similar to chilis queso, just more cheesy and no meat! Ended with the pistachio white chocolate milkshake, it was okay! I probably wouldn’t order it again but it was fine! Our server coco was so nice and accommodating, she had a bright personality making the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be back, but my only suggestion would be a milkshake flight to try several flavors!! Overall great place!

I stumbled upon big orange while exploring the area near my hotel and decided to try it after reading a few reviews. The ambiance was just ok a bit quiet but it was also early evening. My waiter was great as was the burger and fries. The burger was cooked a perfect med-rare just like I like. I also ordered a bowl of chili which had a nice kick to it but not overpowering. Check this place out if you're in the area!

Today, we decided to try this local restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend who has lived in Little Rock for nearly 20 years. She mentioned that the restaurant uses local farm-fresh ingredients and raved about their truffle fries and Umami Bomb burger. I’ve never been a big fan of burgers, as they often feel too salty or greasy for me. However, my friend insisted I give this place a try, and after reading the great reviews, I was intrigued. We ordered the Turkey Avocado Burger, the Umami Bomb, the Big Orange House Salad, and the truffle fries. Everything exceeded our expectations! The salad was refreshing, with fresh fruits and goat cheese, the truffle fries were absolutely delicious, and the turkey burger—made with a 98% lean patty—was moist and flavorful. We finished everything without any guilt or regrets. I only wish I could’ve eaten more, but I had to stop myself from overindulging. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in Little Rock again!

Had such a nice meal here while traveling. Brie and the team at Big Orange took amazing care of me and know their way around the bar and the menu. They have an awesome selection of seasonal cocktails with complex flavors, but also have at least 2 dozen local beers on tap if you’re into that (plus a full bar) . Now to the food: Brie recommended the umami bomb burger. I can say easily this is one of the best burgers I’ve had in Arkansas and probably in this region of the US. The beef patty itself was well-prepared and well-seasoned, vs the tough bland beef you’ll find at a lot of trendy burger places. The meals are fully customizable with patties, buns, and toppings. There are also a large availability of vegan options. I finished off the experience with a pistachio white chocolate milk shake (unsurprisingly, also delicious). I was absolutely delighted with my experience at big orange. If you are passing through and want a nice burger with a great atmosphere this is the place to go!

Google
My family and I came here for dinner to get out of the heat and from saving me from having to cook while it’s so hot outside, the food was excellent, the service was fantastic however you could tell the servers were hot and uncomfortable. They should be able to wear shorts this time of year. I’ve worked in the serving industry before for many years and I know how hot it can be during the summer months. When our servers are comfortable it makes for a better atmosphere.

Yelp
This was so so good. It was super busy, but the wait was worth it. Hands down the best place for a burger in Little Rock if you like fresh food!

Yelp
5 star shakes! I got the cookies and cream milkshake and it is fantastic!! (Similar to a Jack in the box Oreo shake but tastes so much better and not like fake dairy). The very next night I made my family return just for some shakes to-go. I went with family and we were able to be accommodated in the patio area which is very nice even when it is cold out. We got a mix of burgers and salads and they are were all pretty great. I had a fried chicken sandwich and while the first half was pretty great (I loved the sauce and the flavor), about halfway through the chicken seemed pretty soggy/oily and unappealing. It is difficult to keep a sandwich such as this crunchy but I wish I had gotten a little further through the burger. This seemed like a bit of a frying issue. My husband got the half beef half vegetable burger patty and loved it! If you like mushrooms, this is a great option for you! The fries are pretty tasty and the salads were well rounded too! Our servers took great care of us and checked on us frequently. They handled our group well as some people arrived late and the servers were on top of everything.

Yelp
Alright I'm going to start with the good. The best fries I have ever had in my life were at a small resort in Fiji on its own island called Qamea. Big Orange has the closet fries to those! Absolutely phenomenal fries (I'm referencing the truffle ones with the garlic aioli)! Also, the service was great, they were fast despite being a little busy for a Wednesday evening, and they even helped me out with letting me borrow a phone charger. Now for the not great: I've been in Little Rock for 2 weeks now, and being that it is known as Burgertown USA, I've been trying my fair share of top rated burgers. Here I went with The Original and just wasn't impressed. I'd give it a 6/10. It lacked flavor and definitely didn't top my list of burgers in Little Rock. Same for the atmosphere. It seemed a little more mainstream than some of the other, more intimate places on the top rated list. Overall, great spot for fries and some drinks. I enjoyed my cookies and cream milkshake, but not Little Rock's best burger.

Yelp
Food was great. The atmosphere was laid back and sporty, fun and family friendly. You could tell the ingredients were sourced well as the quality of the food was great. The service was excellent. No bc complaints. This was our second time here and we will be back when in the area.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to Gatlinburg TN and I'm sure glad we did! Every part of the burgers I tried were amazing! The buns themselves are so good and light. Patties are full of flavor no matter which one you get and the toppings are house made it locally made for sure. I love all the different combos of flavor you can get here. In the middle of this restaurant is an eye stopping bar. Then you have the upstairs area looking down at the rest of the restaurant . Super cool! Come try them out!

Yelp
I was unfortunately disappointed tonight (28JAN2024). Big Orange has an excellent range of menu selections and unique flavors. The staff are always friendly and their restaurants are normally well kept. Tonight, we waited for one hour and twenty minutes for three hamburgers and three fries. Our burgers did not come as ordered and we only received two fries. We were told that our order was lost. I'm not sure how that happens. (I used to wait tables at a 4 star private restaurant) The bathroom was gross and this has never been my experience before at Big Orange. Our wait was only ten minutes. They were busy but not too busy. I'm a little dismayed.

Yelp
Very fun ambiance. The food was ok. The chicken tenders were a little dry but had good flavor. The burger was huge but not cooked enough. He ordered medium rare and it was near Raw. The truffle fries were also undercooked. The house made chips were the best part, very good. The cocktail was pretty boozy. The bill was about $80 for Two people to have lunch. A little underwhelmed for the price. They charged an upcharge of $7 to make my fries (that come with it anyway) truffle fries. Not worth it. Was a little underwhelming for the price.

Yelp
Came here with my dad, we're both big burger connoisseurs and specifically burgers are really all he eats. I was excited to try this restaurant because as much as I love a simple cheeseburger every now and then I loveee to try different combinations. The service was pretty standard and to the point. I ordered the white truffle and pecorino burger and my dad ordered the Arkansas bacon and cheddar. We both thought our burgers were really good giving them about an 8. The fries were good as well and a necessary pairing. I also ordered the Lavendar haze cocktail and loved that they have a tasting option of their frozen house cocktail for $5 both were pretty solid. To finish off the meal my dad and I decided to try the milkshakes we got the vanilla and the coffee caramel. I can honestly say after having ice cream all week at multiple dairy bars and burger stands all over Arkansas, the milkshakes fell very flat for us and just really did not taste of any quality. Nonetheless, overall I enjoyed the experience and the food as well as the ambience and will be visiting again!

Yelp
This is a go to spot for us when we are traveling through Little Rock. There is a shared parking lot in the plaza. We were seated quickly and even when they are busy the service is good and the food doesn't take long to appear. I love that they offer local Gluten Free Buns from Dempsey's Bakery and that there are vegan milkshakes. As someone with a dairy allergy, It is a rare find to enjoy a milkshake with coconut whip cream with my burger. There are several flavors to choose from. I tend to get the Plain Jane. I love the truffle fries and have tried all the different patty options, my favorite being the 1/2 and 1/2. My husband is a huge fan of the black bean and turkey options. There are options for fries and all the different sauces are good. If you have been wondering if you should try this place, just do it and you will leave happy and full.

Yelp
All is well with Big Orang and Never fail is those Fried Pickles. The shake are mmmm delicious! They also have a mean black bean burger! Get you some!!!

Yelp
I love Big Orange. Now. Keep in mind, it's pretty pricey, but the quality, service, and food itself are worth a little extra. My favorite menu item is the Thai Chopped Salad with Steak. Every burger I've tried has also been delicious. This day, I got my salad and my friend got the Bánh Mì Turkey Burger, which was the special for the day. I didn't get a picture of the truffle fries. All in all it was a great meal
google avatar

Corina F.

Yelp
Great burgers if you can't decide easily then this will be an issue as there are many choices of burgers and types of meat. Our service was prompt after a short wait. I would not recommend this place for larger groups. The tables are small and they are always busy.

Cindy B.

Yelp
We ordered the burger bundle & chip & dips for work Christmas party! They were perfect!!
google avatar

Bob P.

Yelp
First visit but I was not impressed. I am rounding up to get to 3 stars. A plain cheeseburger took 25+ minutes and the French fries were stale and chewy. As I think about it it, my order was probably sitting around for 10-15 minutes in the kitchen. The lady working at the bar was very nice.
google avatar

Rebecca F.

Yelp
Love the unique menu! Service is informative and kind since this was my first time here
google avatar

Gabi Z.

Yelp
Needed a quality burger after work today and found this place. I like how this burger joint is a local Arkansas restaurant. I tried the truffle burger and it was delicious! I requested it to be cooked to medium rare. I couldn't really taste the truffle in the burger because the jam was stronger. The buns were dry, but the sauces helped make them taste better. I also had a side of house fries that my waiter said were homemade. Those weren't bad either. Overall, I recommend this place if you are looking for a diverse menu with quality burgers (or shakes, but I haven't tried the shakes yet)
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
First off I suspect all the negative reviews are review bombers that have never eaten here. Every local I asked about getting a good burger recommended this place. The service was great. The food great. We started with an appetizer of pimento cheese. It was enough for 2 but wouldn't recommend it for more. The cocktail I had was good, but most the drinks in Arkansas lean on the weak side. We split chicken strips and a burger. The chicken was moist and tasty. The burger was a 50/50split of black angus and their mushroom veggie mix and it was great. I would come here again and try all of their food.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
Hot hot Chicken was exactly as described and the heat was worth it! 4/5 Fries were over cooked, nothing spectacular there. 2/5 Arkansas Bacon Burger was okay. Gluten free bun was a bit tough and the actual burger was a little more done than my version of medium. 3/5 lack of safe gluten free sides outside of veggies/salad was a bummer. Would we go back? Maybe... especially if we had less of a drive and could have enjoyed a boozy dessert.

Yelp
The big orange is a must go if you're hungry!! The portions are nice and the menu has plenty to choose from. Oh and I cant forget their chocolate lovers shake. Amaze. I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was incredible. I ordered the farm burger, which had a fried egg on it. My companion had the bacon cheeseburger. We shared an order of truffle fries.

Melissa W.

Yelp
Delicious food and great service (T was our server). We ordered a Turkey burger, fries, chicken salad salad, RumChata drink, and Oreo milkshake. Really great food. Our favorite thing we did in Little Rock. I wouldn't miss it if we were passing through again.
google avatar

Shradha A.

Yelp
We were driving through and came in for a vegetarian gluten-free meal - we were really impressed with how good the burger and fries were. Service was impeccable.

Yelp
After moving to Little Rock not long ago and having tried many different restaurants, Big Orange ranks right there near the top. If you're looking for a solid burger in a fun atmosphere, then this is the place! My friends and I went on a weekend evening with no reservation and waited about 30 minutes for a table. It gets fairly busy, so I would recommend calling in early to get a table on the weekends. The interior and ambience is super bright and busy. It's a fun place for a group of friends or nice pregame spot. I always appreciate menus that are limited and don't overwhelm you with different types of foods. Big Orange specializes in burgers and shakes and that's exactly what I went with. I tried the Umami Bomb with sweet potato waffle fries and a Dulce de Leche shake for dessert. It was definitely a lot of food, but worth every regretful calorie. I also tried the truffle fries which I will definitely get next time. Overall this is somewhere that I will definitely be back to! The overall feel is extremely casual and fun. Throw in some really good burgers, and you have a big winner.

Yelp
Passing through on our way to Florida and thought we would try this place out since it was close to our hotel and had good reviews. I think we beat the evening rush arriving around 6:00 we were promptly seated, ordered an appetizer of chips and cheese dip, and drinks. The place was decorated nicely and seemed to have lots of seating. There was an AC unit that was dripping into the seating area but it was obvious that it was a new development and the staff/manager were giving it the attention it needed. The appetizer and drinks came out very quickly and were delicious! The house made chips were wonderful and my husband enjoyed his honey ale beer. I ordered a Moscow mule that was perfect and our kids had a cookies and cream shake and a strawberry shake that I imagine were good because they were quickly gone! It took a bit for our meals to come out but not what I felt was an unreasonable amount of time. I think the drink orders just came out WAY faster than other restaurants and that caught our attention as a big positive! My husband had a double cheese burger with fried onions, I think it was a monthly special called the El Reno? Our son had a double cheese burger, I had the bacon avocado burger, and our daughter had the kids chicken and fries. My husband and son thought that the meat on their burgers lacked any seasoning and seemed bland. I disagreed with them at first as mine was delicious...as long as I had some bacon and avocado in my bite it turned out. Our daughter's chicken was also lacking in seasoning but everything was good with some of the delicious BOBs sauce added!!! Everything else was great and would definitely be back to give it another go if we were local.

Yelp
We go here every time we are near the medical center! Amazing service Et food! Wish we had one in Tulsa!
google avatar

Tasha S.

Yelp
The food is exceptionally good here. We both got the Truffle Pecorino Burger and truffle fries and split cheese dip with house made chips. The cake shake and root beer float were amazing.

Sherry C.

Yelp
Spoke to the cook regarding gluten allergy. He came out to our table. As hard as he may have tried, something on my plate was cross contaminated somehow. Either a sauce they served had gluten in it or something else. Sick before I left the restaurant. Regarding taste. I had the hickory smoke burger. Great burger. No bun. I desperately wanted their fries. I seldom get to eat those. Those were perfect! The root beer float is a must try!

Goran K.

Yelp
Great service and food quality. Probably the beat burger place in the area, and the prices are appropriate. Some outdoor seating is a plus when weather permits
google avatar

Ronnie W.

Yelp
We ate at the Midtown Location. Cool little place. The Umami Bomb was full of flavor, cooked just right and the sautéed mushrooms are a very good addition. My wife had The Reaper with the Carolina Reaper Pepper Sauce on the side, good move. It is very spicy. She put a little on the burger then we dipped our fries in the rest of it. A little will do ya. The strawberry shake was very good too. Not over-the-top sweet like a lot of shakes. Order your shake after you get your food if you want it for desert or, they will bring it right to you if you want it for an appetizer. We split the fries and it was enough for three. You can choose your patty here, angus, half and half (angus & veggie), turkey and veggie. The Umami Bomb comes half & half and I thought it was good. Over all - good food and a lively atmosphere. Just know going in the burgers are $9.00 - $14.50 but they are good.
google avatar

Katelyn F.

Yelp
Great food and great service! Even when they are super busy the waiters are efficient and friendly. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get!
google avatar

Denise A.

Yelp
In Little Rock Arkansas for business. Someone recommended Big Orange for burgers. Service was very good. Burgers are also very good.. Fresh ingredients on a brioche bun. I also had the truffle fries which I was not as impressed with. They were underwhelming and could use a little more pizzazz, which is why I'm guessing most restaurants include Parmesan.
google avatar

Julia P.

Yelp
Tasty, burger choices. Milkshakes are delish with options you won't find other places. Good atmosphere for a meal either friends. Love the sweet potato fries.

Sterling P.

Yelp
Not the same... I don't know what happened, but the food is not as good. The place was dirty. Back corner area of patio where we were sat was a storage area that smelled like sewage/grease trap. Quite disappointing. What happened?
google avatar

Zoe E.

Yelp
We make sure to go to Big Orange every time we're in Little Rock! I love their butter pecan boozy shake and classic chicken sandwich. The waitstaff is very friendly! There is sometimes a bit of a wait but it's because almost everything is made fresh when you order it. They also have covered outdoor seating which I love!

John G.

Yelp
I am watching my carbs and what I eat generally trying to lose a few pounds. Big Orange makes it so easy to eat healthy and DELICIOUS food. The meal I had today was the best I ever had here, and it couldn't have been better in any way. Wow! First, I ordered by modifying a salad a few ways and they made it perfect. Every detail. Two dressings, no croutons, add pickled and fresh jalapeños! All perfect! Also ordered two turkey patties on the side on a plate, no need for the fancy bed of lettuce they normally put it on. All perfect. Extraordinary flavor! The waiter was very helpful, got every detail right! Just the right place for Sunday!
google avatar

Kate W.

Yelp
Big Orange is an awesome Little Rock burger restaurant with a little something for everyone. I was really impressed with their veggie and vegan options - they even offer soy ice cream to make any of their shakes dairy free! I ordered the falafel and curried lentil sandwich which was fantastic. It was perfectly seasoned and the side of sweet potato fries I ordered were divine. None of the entrees come with fries, which is the only bummer. You will have to order those separately and it gets a little pricey. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere. It was clean, service was friendly and mostly efficient, and I loved the touch of fresh flowers on every table. With tons of options - including vegan and health conscious and gluten free - you can make sure everyone leaves happy after a stop at Big Orange.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Burgers were delicious and full of flavor! The kids got their milkshakes and said they were really good as well. The staff were nice and quick, even with last minute changes.
google avatar

Scott T.

Yelp
I don't recommend any self-respecting Arkansan spend money at a place where the staff openly despises you. This is that place. According to the bartenders, everyone in Arkansas is a redneck and a racist. I endured an obnoxious lecture about this while I was trying to enjoy a burger and cocktail. The food wasn't bad. The booze selection was pretty good. Now all they need is staff with manners.
google avatar

Mallory L.

Yelp
Absolutely devoured my burger. So so good! The sweet potato fries were amazing!! Service was good. The restaurant was really nice. Played awesome music to! Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Sheree L.

Yelp
This was NOT OK... Imagine getting home and cutting into your burger and this is there....
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
Fun spot in Little Rock! There are a variety of menu items to choose from - salads to burgers and their popular truffle fries. We were still pretty full after a big meal earlier in the day, so my mom had a salad and I had a falafel burger. We both enjoyed our meals and I especially loved the lemon-lime drink I got. You could tell it was made in house and was very refreshing. The falafel burger was a little salty, which is why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4. I liked the flavor but definitely could have used less salt in the patty. Would go back to try other things if I am in Little Rock again.
google avatar

Vicki N.

Yelp
This was my first time at Big Orange having moved to AR only several months ago. I ordered the White Truffle and Pecorino burger. It came with fig jam, and I love sweet and savory combinations on burgers. It was really good! I enjoyed it a lot and would get it again. I actually enjoyed their Truffle Garlic Herb Fries more than the burger haha. They were seasoned well and sooo crispy. Dipped with the garlic aioli makes it even better.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Ate here after slim chicken on Cantrel closed early. Service and food was fantastic for our group of 7
google avatar

KJ T.

Yelp
I love their cheese dip and french fries! I hate their chairs though...not comfortable at all!

Jeana L.

Yelp
Too bad the hostess didn't even greet me. She was too busy on the phone to acknowledge I existed. Poor customer service skills!
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
For a great burger-this is the place! Had a turkey burger and fries -no frills (although frills are available!). It was so good, quick service. We arrived just before noon on a Sunday were seated right away. Got our food quickly. When we were leaving, there was a bit of a line to be seated-understandably!

Kerri P.

Yelp
Fairly consistent food quality & friendly service! A favorite for menu choices & fun vibe but GET NEW CHAIRS. Worst chairs ever & patio tables are too high for chairs. ‍
google avatar

Justin R.

Yelp
This place slaps, but they should be embarrassed calling the Hot n Hot Chicken Sandwich that because it's not "hot" and it's not "n." I recommend ordering a Reaper burger and replacing the patty with the chicken from the Hot n Hot.

Melissa W.

Yelp
Enjoyed our lunch. We started with cheese dip & chips. Very good! I had lemon limeade to drink and the Thai Chop salad with grilled Chicken! I highly recommend!! The ginger-soy vinaigrette was so good! Excellent service and vibe! We will return!!
