Big Sky Sports Rentals

Okay, this place sucks. After the woman withe a broken leg did not want to help us (and loudly told her coworker that she didn't feel like "dealing" with us, great customer service here...) another one of her co-workers came out and was friendly enough. She told us about Black Tie and we went there instead where we experience amazing customer service. Go to Black Tie, don't go here.

Had a wonderful experience for my third time skiing in my life and first time at Big Sky thanks to the guys in the rental shop!! Jackson, Luke, and Berry were all extremely nice and helpful. They happily let me try many boot sizes before and after skiing when the ones I had didn’t quite work for me. They were cheerful, funny, and extremely knowledgable. They explained the best ways to get around, where to go for food and drinks, and helped me learn more about skiing. I honestly cannot say enough good things about these staff members. Thank you so much Big Sky for having us and thank you Jackson, Luke, and Berry for helping me have such a good time! (and a special shout-out to mister Forest, who obviously brightened our day immensely)

Equipment seemed pretty beat up. There was a gouge in one of the boot buckles that created a razor sharp protrusion that gave me a nice cut on my hand on my first day of using the gear. I pointed this out upon gear return and the attendant didn't even give a simple apology or thank you.

I had an amazing experience with renting my ski gear here - especially my ski boots! I’ve always had larger calves and have had an issue with being severely uncomfortable skiing. Shout out to Vita who showed me the back loading boots! This was a total game changer and made my skiing experience 10000 times more enjoyable! Thanks again!

Staff were pleasant, but everything else was disappointing. We were charged more to order the skis online in advance than walk in rates, by $20 a day per person. They fixed it but I had to ask. The performance skis are trashed. Worst quality rentals in the last 10 years of renting. Pole was bent. Length of skis to select from were incredibly limited with onlyoptions of 155, 162, or, 171. Terrible selection. All skis are exactly the same, Solely Head brand skis so finding your skis will be horrible after taking a break We likely will check out the competition.

Staff were friendly enough but even with pre booking the rental it took over an hour to get equipment.

Wow...great staff and great gear! Really pleasant staff and was thoroughly impressed with skiing equipment. Nice added bonus that ski valet is free when renting here too!
