Big Yellow House Beach bar

We arrived in mid-July 2025. I've been to many places, but when I got here, it felt like I'd finally found my true home—a place I never want to leave. The house is nestled on a hillside, surrounded by a lush forest, with a charming path leading down to a secluded beach boasting breathtaking views. Halfway to the beach, there's a convenient bar where you can grab coffee, ice cream, or other refreshments. Upon our arrival, the incredibly kind owner greeted us with a delicious cake and personally showed us to our room. The room itself was neat, cozy, and exceptionally clean, complete with a well-equipped kitchen. There's even a dedicated space to store sports equipment, like SUP boards. This guesthouse offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. You can swim in the sea and sunbathe to your heart's content, then retreat to the shaded garden for a peaceful read, all while enjoying the stunning scenery. All of this, combined with the warm, family-like atmosphere fostered by the owners, guarantees I'll be back.

Very beautiful and calm place, lovely view and friendly staff. Okay prices, good coffee, fresh juice, beer etc. No toilet at the moment unfortunatelly.

This hotel is the equivalent to a youth hostel. It is NOT a 3 star hotel! Towels sandpaper, sheets don’t fit bed. TV is a large computer size, beds hard. Hole in room wall. Friend’s room had NO window! No apologies! No AC. Horrible!!! Keep looking, don’t stop here!

I had an incredible stay at this hostel. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The hostel also leads down to a very scenic beach with crystal clear water and amazing views of the mountains. The hostel also has a chef there who makes incredible meals. Although you are a bit far from town, the staff are always more than willing to help order you a taxi. I would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at Big Yellow Hostel for two nights and what an INCREDIBLE experience. Uncle Zozo was the most welcoming host. There was a private chef who cooked for us, beautiful sea views and an aesthetically pleasing terrace. Zoran helped us arrange transport to wherever we wanted to go and the other travellers we met were lovely. There’s a small secluded beach and loads of activities to participate in during the summer- will definitely be back in 2023! :)

Really great place, good staff and pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely go there again if I were to visit pag. Also, cyclist friendly!❤️

I have been to a lot of Hostels in Europe. This might be the best one so far. Every member of the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a small bar where you can get good coffee and even better cocktails. Make sure to try every cocktail from Pablo the Barkeeper, you won't regret it. Very beautiful and relaxing place! The landscape of Pag is unique in Europe I’d say, it looks like you’re on the moon. The resort is located at the only place on the island where there is vegetation. Zoran who runs the place is super friendly and has great plans for the future! Also a shout out to Anton, the bartender, who is really cool and friendly! We had a great stay at Big Yellow House Resort, would 100% recommend it!
