BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park

I recently stayed in one of the cabins at BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park for a 3-night work trip and was thoroughly impressed. On the day of arrival, I received a thoughtful SMS letting me know I could check in early if I wished. The hospitality was outstanding. I arrived around 5PM, and the lady who checked me in was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a precaution in case I arrived after hours, the team had already placed the key in my cabin and thoughtfully turned on the lights and heater. Walking into a warm, well-lit cabin after a long day was such a comfort. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed at this Big 4 caravan park with our family and found the property to be clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the electricity went out in our cabin on the first night due to a faulty power board. While this was inconvenient, we were impressed with how promptly the maintenance team and managers responded. They quickly provided us with a cable to power essential appliances like the fridge and phone chargers, and an electrician arrived first thing the next morning to resolve the issue. Despite the hiccup, the level of service and support we received was excellent. Overall, a very positive experience.

I'm not much of a camera but I must say, this is a fantastic site. The facilities are great, catered for all out needs. MOST IMPORTANT the amenities were clean, fresh and free of spiderwebs!Definitely coming back!

Stayed for a night and is what I expected of a big 4. Facilities were clean and tidy with powered site. Had a jumping pillow and small play ground for the kids. Are doing upgrades which will enhance the stay. Only thing I can pick is no fire pit in winter would’ve made the night. Camp is minimal with limited utensils.

We recently stayed three nights in one of the studio cabins. Ours was very nice, modern, clean and well equipped. We weren’t aware it was a studio so a little smaller than we were used to. The location is adjacent to a major road so is noisy on the balcony but not in the cabin. The service is excellent and everything was prepared when we arrived .

Watch out for the pademelon poop! Really great bar the fact that the wifi was pretty much non existent. I was up the back in a powered site with campervan and the WiFi was down the front. Which meant no WiFi. Easy to connect to but dropped out after 2 seconds. Facilities were clean, water was hot. Kitchen is at the bottom of a very steep rise, so hopefully try to get a site 40- 48, then you'll have connectivity. The bathrooms are up top tho. Not a great layout. The lady in reception was awesome though, gave me some hints and tips. And they have a small provedore in reception.

First time staying at the BIG4, and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms were clean and as expected from the photos online - we got a message on the day that we could check in early which was great too. It was a nice quiet spot for us to relax for the long weekend & we enjoyed the stay. Staff were lovely and friendly, kids enjoyed the play area too.

Pre booked 3 night stay, powered site, 2 adults. Busy park, easy to find from the highway but also noisy because of its proximity, day and night. Park is on a hillside with level terraced sites set in between rows of cabins/villas. Amenities have been refurbished at some point with the showers having a tiny dressing side with a seat and three hooks for your belongings. Plenty of hot water but shower curtains are hung high allowing water all through the cubicle. Row of toilets and basins. Close to town , shopping and attractions.
