BIG4 Opal Holiday Park

It was good other than the dump point was over flowing. If not for sewage issues, I would have rated at five stars. Ensure site was great. Clean. In good condition. Great shower pressure. Sites were drive through which is always easier. Great place to stay when visiting Lighting Ridge and would happily stay there again.

The Big 4 was a wonderful experience. The cabin was a great size,everything was very clean,very affordable,everything you need. Pool and bbq facilities were excellent,it's a 200mt walk to the artisan baths,which was fabulous after a big day of checking out all there is to offer and lots of walking and some fossicking.The caravan park is close to all tourist attractions,which was great,and having a courtesy bus to transport to Bowls club( great food and cold drinks)was the best,highly recommend the Big4😊

A great caravan park with huge drive through sites. The park is very well maintained with immaculate amenities and camp kitchens. We liked the location, feeling safe, being a very short drive from town and 200m walk to the Artesian Bore Baths. The park pool was a welcomed relief on those very hot Lightning Ridge afternoons. Whilst it was a little bit pricey it was certainly worth it!

Park was a good place to stop in Lightning Ridge. Site was big and level. Bathrooms were used were public ensuites that were pretty clean considering how many people use them. Camp kitchen was well equipped. ||Only things I would say against is kids wanted playground. A shade over the pool and some extra seating within pool area would have been nice.

Travelling Aussies 🇦🇺 We stayed at this great caravan park as a group of 7 vans / motorhomes travelling together A little out of town (too far to walk in Summer) but nice and quiet. Generous sized sites on gravel, large and very clean amenities, camp kitchen and swimming pool 🏆 Easy check in, completed on-line prior to arrival and friendly helpful staff 👍 Loved our stay and recommend to others ❤️

The park is very spacious, really impressed with the drive thru sites.....that's a bonus. Amenities r excellent, always clean abd the showers r excellent. So close to everything. Only draw back is the dust.......no grass areas all dirt and not a lot of activities for the kids......not your typical Big 4 park BUT u r in The Ridge and it is all dirt n dust up there, great place to visit & stay

We had a drive through site, all sites are probably the largest sites we have stayed in in our 5 months on the road. Large park with lots of space to walk my dog. It would be good to have extra dogs poo bags as we nearly ran out. Most parks provide them. Only one dryer was working out of the 2 laundries and the clothes lines were full. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 3 nights in this great park. We had a drive through ensuite site. Very large site with a clean and large bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great spaces for entertainment, they had a comedy duo on the nights we were there. The pool was kept clean and a great temperature to have a swim even in August. Close to town and all attractions around. Would definitely recommend.
