Spacious, clean and well facilitated cabin. Had no communication with office team, so very self serve, accessible nonetheless. Would be good to have the room and building photos updated on the website as where we stayed and the surrounds looked nothing like the photos.

Stayed here last minute for one night only. It was the only blemish on an otherwise wonderful trip to Tassie. The cabin was not the best, the towels were new (once) and my wife and daughter opted not to shower rather than use the shower and towels in the cabin. The wall mounted shower gel dispesner was empty and the one near the wash basin no existant. All of this was the ambient background noise of someone using a mulcher from dawn to dusk. I dont like to leave bad reviews so will leave it there, but wish at the price we paid that I had stayed somewhere else.

1 star only because you can’t rate a zero! My daughter ran into the office to check in and came back some time later, not in a very good mood after what she described as the worst customer service she had experienced. Tried to move her past that encounter, we were having a break, after all. As we were preparing to depart, I experienced the staff. It was 9am, raining, and I had put both young children into car seats and began putting our luggage in the boot. The cleaner had began cleaning another cabin and for whatever reason, hopped back in their van and sat glaring at me, in the rain, loading the car. Became apparent they wanted me to move, so I had to to stop, move the car, no time to tell my daughter what I was doing and because it was one way, had to keep going and come back in! WTH! We also took the children for a walk along the disgusting unmanaged creek! If you’re going to use the creek as something to do, clean up around it! Would not go back or recommend. Your service is poor and you should be embarrassed! Big 4 should visit annually, to see how parks under their umbrella perform.

Great location. Self contained cabin with everything you need. Just across from the main park and associated amenities including shop, cafe, laundry. Fifteen minute walk to harbour and close to foreshore. Warm, cosy, good reception, heating, wifi, and tv if you want it. Kitchen well stocked.

We stayed in one of the cabins during our two days in Strahan, and it had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for three people, although the cabin layout was a bit unusual. The price was reasonable, and it was close to several tourist attractions. Staff were friendly, and it was nice having the platypus walk located within the holiday park.

Great bed and pillows and not unreasonably priced. However confronted with a venue planned 3pm check in(we did get in at 2pm) this would have been somewhat inconvenient and unreasonable. Both the hotplates and the microwave require clear instructions for their use as they are not plug and play unlike many other confrontred. Also given that this region experiences somewhat exreme weather their is no reverse cycle air conditioner to speedily take the chill out of the room. Unlike parks that I have visited during my stay in Tasmania there is no heat source in the bathroom .

Our cabin had an unusual placement for a toilet with one couple choosing to go to the public toilet rather than walk through my room to get to and use it. Shower floor was extremely slippery with no mat, whereas the public showers had them. Other than that a clean and pleasant looking park and it was handy having a take-away next door.

Really surprised that this was a standard Big 4 park. $52.20 for a big 4 member one night, powered site. The only good thing about this park was that there were plants in between most of the sites, giving a little more privacy, but not much room for a table and chairs. Bathrooms weren't even up to the standard of some mining camps I've stayed in. Kitchen was a shack. And not a great one either.
