BIG4 Tasman Holiday Parks - Rowes Bay

Tasman holiday park located in rows bay is a great holiday get away with great fun for adults and kiddos. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned for all guests. The rooms had fresh ice, cold water and milk. The rooms also had stocked up with other supplies we needed. Rows bay holiday park is stacked with staff who well trained, and are really nice. Durning our we encountered a problem with our water. This problem was resolved almost instantly. During our stay we found that is located only 5 minutes away from the strand. In the maintained office there is cheap ice cream on offer, drinks and snacks. Thank you staff of rows bay for the amazing stay 👝🦛❤️🧸

Service was pretty good while checking in. The amenities were clean, but the staff had an interesting way of cleaning it. They would come in with a hose and spray water on every single surface. Pool was nice but small. Toilets were being cleaned, so my son used the accessible toilet. There was no handle on the inside to get out and he was stuck. My husband tried to open it but it wouldn’t work, since the door was locked with a key.We had to get the key from the office to get him out. If he didn’t have his phone, he would have been stuck there for ages. Good location, roads not good for scootering.

We were a bit sceptical to stay here as some of the reviews were poor. However, to our surprise, we really loved the campsite. We decided to stay an extra night. The staff here were really helpful and welcoming including the maintenance team. We stayed at the powered campsite. The shower/bathroom were really clean. We felt really safe here for the few nights.

Terrible campsite, the kitchen and bathrooms were dirty. The campsite was completely neglected with roads covered in grass and leaves and parking spaces for vehicles left to themselves. The worst thing is that I did not feel safe at all, with people camping in the campsite probably living there permanently with dogs without a leash and who bothered us.

Stayed a weekend in Townsville at Rowes bay caravan park in a cabin. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Shower was fantastic and the linen and pillows were perfect. The young couple who are managing the park were so very helpful and nothing was to hard and they had great knowledge of the area which is always nice when organising days trips. Will definitely be back.

Location location! Stayed with my wife in a cabin last week. From the moment we drove in and met the lovely lad at the reception till the morning we left. We couldn’t speak highly enough of the staff they were always willing to lend a hand as I needed to change a tyre on my 4wd. Ryan was only to happy to help. Him and his partner’s knowledge of the local area was fantastic and put us on to some fantastic local eateries. The park is kept neat and tidy and always seen Ryan out and about emptying the bins and cleaning the camp kitchen. The park isn’t a resort in the Whitsundays but it’s clean tidy reasonably priced and the Ryan his partner and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back again.

Dreadful and dirty. Stayed early Jan 25. Hired a cabin and travelled with friends who stayed in a tent. Do not come here, cabins are filthy and I mean filthy. Manager only interested in smoking cigarettes rather than assisting with costumers and acknowledging how dirty our cabin was. The camp kitchen open all night so food stolen and had homeless using as a place to sleep. Could not find any staff in evening to assist with there being no gas in camp kitchens bbqs. Amenities and site were not cleaned or maintained over the weekend and bins were overflowing by Sunday evening. Shame as I stayed here a year ago and managers before would go out of their way to help. Tasman sought this out as the other parks I have stayed at including rolling stone and mission beach are beautiful. This campsite is no where on par with your other sites.

Do Not make a reservation at this campground! The uploaded photos of the cabins do not reflect what they actually look like! This was even confirmed to us by one of the employees. The cabins are very old, small, smelly (smoke) and very dirty. Cabins with “beach view” only offer a view to the noisy street and car park. The cabins are way too expensive and definitely not worth the money. The lady working at the desk is impolite, disrespectful and not helpful when having a problem or issue to solve. We wanted to change our cabin but were told there was no other cabin available for the night - which was not true because you could have booked it online. We stayed at a different place this night and the promised refund has been rejected. Please safe your money and find another nice place to stay in town.
