BIG4 Tassie Getaway Parks St Helens

We stayed in a self contained cabin. Nice and clean. Plenty to do for the kids. Camp kitchen is amazing. We managed to feed 30 people in our group using the pizza oven. Highly recommend you use this while staying here. The outside bbqs are also good for big groups but there’s also the cooking facilities inside the camp kitchen.

Brilliant choice of campground. Near to town (walkable) and easy access to Bay of Fires beaches, the gardens and loads to explore. Facilities at the campground were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. There were dogs staying which is awesome as so nice to meet everyone and their fur friends :)

Superb park. We had booked a powered site online. But our camper trailer needed repairs at a local mechanic. We were able to change our booking to a cabin without penalty and just pay the difference. They also found us the cheapest option then upgraded us to a better cabin. Our cabin was wonderful. We had a balcony looking out at big gum trees. It was a new cabin with comfortable beds and excellent amenities. The park laundry was excellent and reasonably priced. They have boat/trailer parking so once our camper trailer was fixed, we could park it safely onsite not far from our cabin. Definitely recommend

Stayed 2 nights on a caravan site. The kids loved the games room & jumping pillow. Sites were tidy, well marked & easy to get into. Amenities were always clean & showers were roomy. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed in a six-guest cabin for one night, expecting it to comfortably accommodate four adults. Unfortunately, the cabin was poorly configured. There were no proper bath essentials provided (only two small soaps) and needed to access the bathroom by passing through one of the sleeping areas. The cabin had no living room area, only one power socket inconveniently placed near the ceiling, and the overall space was very cramped. Adding curtains to separate the sleeping areas instead of a desk would be a practical improvement. Additionally, the park is overcrowded with cabins and caravan/camping areas, making for an unpleasant and noisy overnight stay. Compared to other holiday parks we stayed at during our 4-day trip, which charged similar prices, the quality here was significantly lower. Not recommended for value for money. Average customer service.

My 8 year old and I booked the bunk house room and it was as expected. The entire place - kitchen, toilets, bathrooms were kept super clean. I noticed the staff were doing regular cleaning throughout the day. We spent two nights and I recommend this place.

Very clean cabins, however lacking storage with no wardrobe. Shower head needed descaling or replacing. Everything else was awesome. All staff are friendly while being professional and very approachable. Amenities are in good order except for half of washing machines and dryers being out of order

We visited here in September 2024. This was our first glamping experience and it was so much fun. The design of glamping area was well thought out with lots of privacy and quietness. The glamping tent itself was very clean and well stocked. The outside bathtub was fun and loved the firepit to sit by at night. The whole park was lovely and the staff very helpful. We would highly recommend this park and the glamping is a must try. Thanks for a great experience.
