This place was perfect for our needs. We booked the 6 bed cabin and, though tiny, was still a comfortable fit for the weekend. The park amenities were great. The kids loved the jumping pillow and go karts. The pool was a bit cold so we didn’t really use. The whole park was kept really clean, felt really safe and the staff were friendly fly when needed. The check in / out process was really simple too.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on our way back to NSW. Couldn't really fault it. The pool was amazing, so clean that it actually sparkled. The staff were so friendly and very helpful It was lovely BBQing hearing the little chirps from the finches in aviary nearby. So relaxing. Our room suited us just fine, clean with a little kitchenette. It is just a short walk to a shopping centre and a few eateries. Great place to stop to break your journey up. Recommend it.

So I booked over the phone for a drive through site and asked if they were busy as I wanted to possibly stay an extra night. The lady on the phone was really nice and said that it should be fine. Upon arrival we noticed how tight the place was with a larger caravan. You can't drive your caravan in the driveway for check-in. You have to park on the street. It's a busy suburban area and parking was a slight hassle. Once checking in I was told that Someone was on the drive through site that we had booked. They then said they could still put me on a powered site. That was fine so I asked if we could stay an extra night. Was then told the entire place was booked out all week. I'm glad that we didn't stay an extra night though. It was extremely tight to get a 21ft caravan out of the exit. We managed but I reckon there would of been a foot of space on one of the turns. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend this place. It's like the spot that the Big 4 business forgot about. I think Big 4 bought an aging caravan park and then just never updated it.

Staff at the park were great. A stuff up with keys not being left out for our late arrival was sorted out soon enough with an apology and a smile. The onsuite sites are rather dated but clean and serviceable. Sites are not particularly large, but fine for an overnight stay which is all we needed. Mix of short and long term sites does give it a bit of a "trailer park" feel - so maybe not the place for a longer holiday stay.

Cabin was roomy and clean. However no soaps or other toiletries supplied. Only 1 bathmat for a 3 bed cabin. The amenities were good, pool and BBQ area clean and tidy. Jumping pillow a win with the kids. Main bed was like sleeping on a rock, but some people like a firm bed.

Arrived at Big 4 caravan park, people were very welcoming upon arrival. My father had a nice room for the same price we recieved an underwhelming room. Our rooms were incredibly different considering the price. My young daughter was locked inside of the bathroom due to a faulty door latch, the fan in our main bedroom was either barely moving or carrying on like cyclone Katrina that was going to take the roof off the joint. We also had the same issue in the living area. The couch provided had holes throughout and looked like it was second hand. We then had people move into the accomodation next to us, there outside area was all but in our bedroom and could hear every word they were saying. Tried to call the reception to get us moved but the line was constantly unavailable with no after hours phone number provided. Our room was also filled with multiple bugs and my partner felt uncomfortable with the surrounding people consistently. The photos provided on the website definitely make this place look better then what it is.

Overall the stay was ok. Helpful lady in the office and close to local shops, but we had an ensuite site that needed a refurb compared to most park we have stayed in. Also the sites are very crammed in. It was also very rule driven with notices everywhere which were not pleasantly written. The pool area needs some shade and lounge chairs were not clean. No ice on site and no kiosk.

We stayed overnight in a campervan site with ensuite. The ensuite was very clean and practical, a bonus if you don't fancy a walk to the amenities and prefer your own privacy. The campervan sites are a little tired looking and lack visual appeal but are nonetheless practical and quiet as they are situated far enough away from the main hub of activity. The receptionist was very friendly, welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed our overnight stay.
