We went last weekend and the kids had so much fun. The amenities were very well kept and clean. Lots of wildlife and very close to the beach. The backyard bar was a bonus for the adults. Would definitely stay here again!

Quite polluted and not well managed for environmental protection or natural enjoyment. The river was thick with algae and smelled terrible, plastic all throughout including caution tape from bridge works the establishment itself was undertaking. No pride in the beautiful area they’re drawing income from. Would like to see: considerate effort to restore water quality; protect park from plastic rubbish by having more bins, and demarcated bins for different rubbish types accessible in all kitchen areas (currently glass and composting goes in the same bin); warnings about water quality and access to safe water. Big4 makes a lot of money, and they need to do better. I had high hopes but don’t think we’ll be back even if my child did love the bouncy tramp.

A rear place that gets busy at peak times. We have been a couple of times with grand kids and alone. Lots of bird life and walks. Perfect water sports for surfers and beach lovers. A nice pub with good meals overlooking the bay. A lovely spot with a gravel race small river running through the middle. Try to book one of the sites next to the river

Fantastic park with great amenities. Lots of wildlife (ducks, cockatoos, kangaroos and a couple of koalas) and heaps for kids and teenagers. We had an ensuite site and it was perfect: modern and spotlessly clean ensuite and huge site with concrete and well grassed areas. Easy walk to an excellent Cafe and pub with stunning views.

We took our campervan, and it was the perfect spot for our family with 2 kids. The amenities were fantastic—very clean, well-maintained, and organised. The activities during the school holidays were great, and the whole vibe was really enjoyable. The beach is right in front, and there’s a nice cafe, a pub, and a little store where we found everything we needed. An amazing spot!

If you’re a younger group of people and want to be treated rudely and made to feel uncomfortable by the unwelcoming manager Andy, then this is the place for you. Our stay started with our group of six 18 year olds being stereotyped by the staff, then being asked to pay an extra bond on top of what we had already paid. or the other option being sending for an adult over 25 to join us immediately. Next, due to the unwelcoming arrival our group asked for the terms and conditions in reference to refunds. after being told a refund was possible if we left that afternoon we started seeking other housing. Later the manager went back on his word and the refund was now not an option. alongside this it was clearly explained to us that if our group received any noise complaints we could be kicked out at any moment without our money back. This site is riddled with legal faults, conflicting staff and a general dead atmosphere. Paying over 900 dollars for a four night stay you’d think the place would be clean and have good amenities. on the contrary! dirty sheets, unwashed cooking utensils, spiders all over the place and broken furniture. overall. don't book a stay here. it may seem easy but it’s not!! Terrible stay. Rude Manager.

Lovely staff who greeted us so kindly. The rain was coming down but that's 'Mother Nature' in control. It was not holiday season so we could choose our site and we were only having a short stop over on our journey. Lovely powered site by the river. The park is great and all amenities so clean and tidy. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND BIG4 WYE RIVER to anyone.

We stayed here with our motorhome in August 2024. Such a delightful campground. Admittedly it was off season and not many caravans around. We were allocated a site backing onto the creek, it was charming watching the wildlife from this location. The amenities block is well looked after and was clean and spotless. Great facilities with jumping pillow for kids, and a small convenience store nearby.
