Absolutely brilliant place to stay. We had a girls weekend away for the GOR running festival and found the park to be a perfect location. Heaps of great facilities, friendly staff and a simple but comfortable room. Walking distance to great meals at the pub, a beach across the road, and driving distance to Lorne. Highly recommend for families or just friends.

Overall a good place to stay with ample room for everyone to enjoy. The only reason for a lost star is that I found it odd the toilet amenities aren’t near the powered sites but rather where the cabins were (we were situated on the far end of the park). I also had food poisoning from the coffee place which really sucked and was disappointing. Regardless, still a great place to stay and look into.

Great location and super clean facilities. Staff were all wonderful. Gym was an excellent and well worth the additional $10/day. I’d note it’s only open during reception hours though from memory 0830-1830 weekdays and 0730-1730 Saturday/Sunday which is a bit of a pain for someone who tries to get stuff done before the family wake. There was a few things like the fire pit, doonas for the bunk beds and karts which were an extra $10 or so. Notice after paying for our karts, once the bank of them was left unlocked other kids just grabbed them willy nilly without paying. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin. For those who like cooking while travelling I always find there’s not enough info on what’s in room…the one we stayed in had a dual gas burner cooktop - Small detail but frustrating detail to note, the sauté pan in the cupboards did not sit centred over the large burner at the back as it was too close to the back wall. Tiny but was a pain! 🥲 Put some photos of the cooking kit supplied also as FYI to know what to bring yourself. Really enjoyed the stay, thanks again!

Our kid enjoyed the facilities, and the animals were a wonderful treat.||HOWEVER, very disappointed by the lack of integrity for the environment and surrounds. Plastic rubbish strewn throughout the river, river water quality abysmal (blame the ducks if you want to, but do something to improve the water flow and quality). Water not safe for kids to be in, and the flow into the sea made the beach smell funky and rotten. There are signs at the beach to say the river is not safe, but no signs at the Big4, why? ||Barely any rubbish bins around so no wonder there was rubbish everywhere. No attempt to provide composting facilities or recycling in convenient locations. Huge amounts of glass mixed with food scraps in the kitchen. ||Cleaners should be utilised during busy weekends throughout the park, not just in bathrooms that also need more regular cleaning (and we all know they could afford this).||And then we found out the tap water isn't safe. My kid ended up with a fever and we left early, but I won't be so quick to blame the water, but we couldn't find any water to purchase once we realised it's not safe to drink. There should be signs or text messages.||It was a really busy weekend, but all the kids on e-vehicles that don't know how to ride them made it feel a bit unsafe for our toddler. Half of them without helmets. And then some of the families were really getting on the piss - good for them, not great for our camping experience. ||Maybe we're not Big4 people, but would love to see them valuing and acknowledging the landscape they're making money off.

We went last weekend and the kids had so much fun. The amenities were very well kept and clean. Lots of wildlife and very close to the beach. The backyard bar was a bonus for the adults. Would definitely stay here again!

We have just spent 5 nights there in our van Whilst the park itself was lovely and we had a good spot we were disappointed. Yes we were there in school holidays and appreciate it is a kids park, however our concern is the lack of parent supervision with smaller children that should not be allowed to ride on the roads the vehicles travel on. We had a young girl ride right in front of us.. very close and we would never have lived with ourselves if something had happened We were also disappointed with the amenities They were good amenities but never seemed clean as there was so many people using them Floors always dirty, toilets not clean and running out of toilet paper as the amenities weren’t serviced enough I don’t think we will ever go back and unfortunately would not recommend it to anyone

We love Wye river big4! The campsite, playground and general areas are fab! It is a pity to charge for 30mins use of buggies, when the kids do love them so much. The older cabins could use with some TLC - they are very tired for the $250++ p/n rate.. especially for a single mama travelling. Highlights, coffee cart, crepe van, wildlife, buggies, beach, general store!

Fantastic park with great amenities. Lots of wildlife (ducks, cockatoos, kangaroos and a couple of koalas) and heaps for kids and teenagers. We had an ensuite site and it was perfect: modern and spotlessly clean ensuite and huge site with concrete and well grassed areas. Easy walk to an excellent Cafe and pub with stunning views.
