Google
The cutest little place with the friendliest workers! We got cheese bread, and a split half cheese, half pepperoni pizza. The food was so good, and we had a very good time.

Bernard Jeremy

Google
Great pizza! The 4 cheese and hot honey pizza was out of this world good, perfect balance of flavors and the crust was a great mix of soft and crunchy all at once. Service was fast and attentive and the place had good vibes all over. Highly recommended!

Ruby Hoernlen

Google
Literally the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Kind servers, super fresh ingredients, not bad pricing either and I love the classic rock they played. We got the pesto and the meatball verde. Both were absolutely incredible. You won’t be disappointed to go here.

Julie Orner

Google
Loved the Sweet potato pizza and the Pesto pizza. The Flathead Cherry pizza was good, but I would have preferred more cherry.

Stacey Allard Doll

Google
Interesting, unique pizzas. I had a Flathead Cherry pizza, and it was just a little weird for me. The crust is phenomenal. The mixed greens salad was delicious and light .The seating is really tight, and the wait time can be long if you don't time it right. The service was attentive and friendly

Google
BIGA PIZZA is outstanding! The dough is made by hand on location and thrown the old fashioned way then once the toppings are on, cooked in a fired oven. The results are stellar! The staff is super friendly too. It's a must try! The only way to truly experience it is to go and try the multitude of culinary offerings because they make more than pizza!

Google
Pizza was just alright. We really like the crust and sauce but holy was the pizza greaaasyyyy. I am not sure if it's the cheese or the meat but it wasn't the most pleasant experience. They were very busy so we understood that the service was wasn't going to be the best. Overall, not a place I would be rushing back to but will do fine enough for most.

After living in Missoula for years we finally decided to try the "meme pizza joint" that everyone acts obsessed with. We got two pizzas, one split pizza with two special flavors and one plainer split pizza with the cheese and basil and plain pepperoni to try out. Well, firstly, the pizzas are extremely overpriced. It was nearly 50$ for these two pizzas. I know it's a "specialty" place with unique pies, which I can appreciate, but I still think the prices are ridiculously high. The ingredients seemed fresh, and I could tell the dough was most likely made that morning. The dough was fresh and tasty. However, I thought the specialty pizzas were a little over the top, and too busy, the ingredients got lost on me and I feel as if the plainer pizza was much more delicious, simply letting the basil and mozzarella shine instead of slathering tons of random ingredients on top. The pepperoni was kind of mid and forgettable. I enjoyed it enough, although feeling it was overpriced and being a little disappointed with the speciality flavors (as not only were they significantly more expensive than the simpler pizza but they didn't taste as good). My husband enjoyed it as well, however, the food actually made him sick. I did not get any food poisoning, but he got it BAD. His stomach immediately began to hurt after we finished eating, and he had to go throw up, and was totally out of commission the next two days, bedridden and puking while randomly passing out and waking up again. I must have gotten lucky and dodged the food poisoned pieces. There were some uncooked ingredients on top, which I assume is where he got the food poisoning from, but who knows how it got contaminated. Incredibly disappointed, and I was sad I had to throw away the leftover slices as I was scared to get sick as well. All in all I would NEVER go back again for fear of one of us getting sick like the first time.

Yelp
A fantastic, must eat here establishment in downtown Missoula. Our second trip to town and second visit to Biga. We ordered six different items and each one was excellent. Great local beer and service was awesome. Zeek made the pizza today and was our server the first time we visited. He actually remembered us and made us feel special! If you are a pizza snob, this place will be on your tops list for a long time.

Avi R.

Yelp
Located in downtown area. No dedicated parking at the restautant. Street parking across the restautant. They have limited outdoor seating but spacious inside. Very slow service, we noticed only one server working the day of our visit. Took a while to take order and longer to get the food. Plan for long wait times. We tried the argula/tomato pizza and pepperoni. Pizza itself was decent!

Olivia W.

Yelp
Excellent place to stop at in Missoula and visit! I was on my whitefish and was recommended to try Biga out. It was very busy, but the staff were still very helpful, patient, and down to Earth. Special thank you to Zeke who helped me with my take out order. The wait time was about 40-60 minutes (which is expected due to this place being popular), but worth the wait! As for the interior it's very basic, not much to see. Docking one star because I got their gluten free crust and it wasn't the best. Otherwise, the pizza itself was yummy! The pesto seemed homemade, the tomato's were cooked to perfection, and the goat cheese was delicious!

Lindsay M.

Yelp
Service: personable, knowledgeable, COOL Ambiance: relaxed Food: clean, fresh flavors with good ingredients Highly recommend the artichoke pizza. Will definitely return!

Katarina S.

Yelp
Excellent pizza! I recommend the vesuvio. Even though you will reach your weekly sodium levels, it's delicious. We were surprised to find such good pizza in the middle of nowhere.

George G.

Yelp
Super cool little spot in this college town! Well priced, fresh food and an easy walk from downtown. It gets packed quick and closes on Sunday so beware of the hours.

Corrine E.

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed the pizza. Amazing food and service. We've eaten a lot of pizza however Best pizza in Missoula.

Yelp
Stopped in here on the way through Montana because I heard a nasty rumor that the pizza is good. It is my informed opinion that the only way someone could make that claim is if they ate it while feeling more baked than the pizza itself, which is a guarantee in Missoula. I walked in the "main room" at 8:01pm and was told that service ended at 8pm; okay. I was then instructed to sneak through the bar next door and to the back door of the other side of Biga's, which served slices and takeout. On a whim, I decide on the "4-Cheese & Hot Honey" and the Tiramisu Parfait to go, and added sausage (allegedly housemade). I received the order and opened it in my car, revealing a thimble of sausage crumbles struggling for life atop a gloppy, disgusting and undercooked mucus of a pizza. In addition to that, my "Ready Whip Surprise" disguised as tiramisu had a date of 12/29 on it (it's 1/4). I took a few bites of the lavaesque slabs of Elmer's glue plastered onto the mostly raw dough and threw it in the garbage. On the website, it states the owner is from New Jersey, which makes sense that he's hiding out in Montana, since he's probably been banned for life from the New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia Pizza Police for food crimes against humanity.

Yelp
We ordered the Quattro Formaggio pizza which was pretty good. Pro tip: you can order it and head over to Cranky Sam's next door and enjoy it there! The blue cheese was a little overpowering on the pizza, but still tasted good!

alexis m.

Yelp
This place was full of flavor, quick service and lots of seating! Anything on their menu is sure to blow any other place out of the water. Great downtown location and the place was clean with great decor.

Lily K.

Yelp
Not sure if bathrooms are available. It's downtown so parking is downtown style parking although both street parking and parking garages are nearby. I got the carmelized goat gluten free pizza with added bacon. The pizza was great, I love my marinara so, I was a bit disappointed that the sauce wasn't there but it also didn't say that it was in the description so that's on me. It was tasty-good amount of goat cheese, i think I just expected a bit more flavor. The gluten free crust is good. As gluten free crust is, it was a bit doughy. I assume it's because it gets crazy crunchy when cooked Al the way. Which I would expect. It was still tasty-just due to the doughy nature it lacked some flavor. I didn't expect to find any gluten free pizza at this random stop so it was delicious for what it is worth. I also got the raspberry gluten free parfait. AMAZING!!!! Think of a strawberry shortcake with raspberries instead! So absolutely delicious 5 stars for that dessert! It was perfect!! I give this four stars because I also have a bit of a cold and the lack of flavor in the pizza might be due to that. But I came in and sat by myself-wasn't busy when I came in then got busier as I waited. Not really any chatty customer service and I had to remind them about my dessert but k got everything I ordered in a decent amount of time so it was decent service. If that makes sense. Nice spot of town!

Yelp
Oh man, this might be my favorite pizza place! It is all hand made (I think wood fire, but am not sure?). The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is TO DIE FOR! The restaurant also absolutely nailed a classic (maybe even vintage?) pizzeria vibe Their menu has some very unique options but have something for everybody. I couldn't decide between two pies but they do half and half! Also, their salads are hearty, delicious, and filling! Would definitely recommend Biga for lunch or dinner, and I am for sure coming back the next time I'm in Missoula!

Reena R.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to Glacier National Park. What a great place! Their pizza is delicious (we were hungry so forgot to take a pic of the pizza). We also enjoyed a huckleberry Italian soda.. yum! The service was good. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking to enjoy pizza.

Mikinzi R.

Yelp
This is our yearly stop, it is always amazing and the service is next level. We love the hot honey pizza and my husband's favorite staple is the pesto calzone.

Sherry T.

Yelp
Wow, wow, wow! I could stop there, but I'll keep going. After ten miles of hiking today, I asked my boyfriend what he wanted for dinner, and when he said "pizza," I was absolutely delighted, as Biga had popped up yesterday when I was looking for good grub. We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday afternoon and were fortunate enough to snag one of the two remaining tables. Biga is a small, super busy pizza joint. Everyone who worked there was hustling, and employees helped each other out. My boyfriend and I split a Caesar salad, a large pizza, and a chocolate mousse. The salad was interesting. I suspect the base for the dressing was Dijon mustard. Although I liked it, I thought it was a little heavy on the lemon and my boyfriend thought the anchovy was a bit much. The shaved Parmesan cheese was legit. For the pizza, my boyfriend ordered the Sweet Potato, Bacon & Maple Chipotle, and I went with the Quattro Formaggio. The crust on that pizza was first class all the way. Both kinds of pizza were delicious, but my boyfriend's choice had a slight edge. He asked for some ranch dressing for dipping. It turned out that their house-made ranch was mind-blowing. I am not typically a fan of ranch dressing, but the dill in their dressing was perfection. I stopped after a slice of each type of pizza so I would have room for dessert. The chocolate mousse was so good that I nearly wept as I ate it. When my boyfriend tapped out, I was happy to finish it. I am so glad that my boyfriend, the king of cheeseburgers, said "pizza" instead of "a burger" today. Wow, wow, did I say "wow?"

Yelp
I had eaten here once a few years ago and remembered I really liked the pizza, so I had to stop in again. The service was awesome. Brooke was great and very helpful. The restaurant has a cool pizza shop vide to it with a large pizza oven in view. I stated with the Caesar salad which was great. Their basil lemonade hit the spot. For pizza I tried the Vesuvio and the 4 cheese and hot honey. They were both great pies. Their dough and sauce are on point for sure. One thing that's clear, is Missoula has a lot of good food options. Check this place out for sure. I will be coming back next time I'm in town. 5/5 100%

Kimberley O.

Yelp
Great service, great prices, and the best NY style pizza I've had in awhile. Crispy and flavorful!

Jeff F.

Yelp
Very good pizza (and I'm a pizza snob). Fresh ingredients, excellent crust from the wood burning oven. 4 of us split 2 pizza's and the caprese salad, also very good. Decent beer and wine selection. Good service. Casual relaxing atmosphere. We ate between normal lunch and dinner hours and the service was very good. I can see this place getting crowded in peek hours and food taking longer to arrive. Overall, a very solid 4 stars. Will come back next time Pearl Jam is in town =)

Xiomara P.

Yelp
I'm just an LA girl who loves pizza...this place did not disappoint! I was able to get a table rather quickly and the staff was extremely friendly and had great suggestions! Everyone that was enjoying dinner had a fantastic time and even though they had a full house on a Friday night they still put out orders quickly. I will be returning for another pie soon!!!

James G.

Yelp
Such great pizza- great variety, excellent value- favorite place in town. Service is always amazing- such friendly staff. Feel like a member of the family here!

Renee B.

Yelp
Best pizza in Missoula. Great salads too. We always enjoy whatever pizza we try. The Sicilian is our favorite! The service has always been outstanding in both pick up and the restaurant side.

Brian F.

Yelp
I came here on a Saturday evening at 7:30pm and was told it would be a 25-30 minute wait. I gave my phone number and had a drink at Cranky Sam next door while I waited for my phone to ring. They recommend making reservations the day before or ordering to-go which will be quicker. You can do half and half of two different kinds of pizza for only $1 which is great because I can try multiple flavors. The total for a 12" split pizza was $16.50. I ordered the caramelized goat and the meatball verde and they were both fantastic! The meatball verde and especially the cilantro-jalapeno sauce was to die for! It was so flavorful I could not get enough of it. The caramelized onions and the goat cheese are also really good and pair well together with a balance of salty and sweet. You cannot go wrong with either one of these pizzas. I ate the whole pizza because I was really hungry and both of these pizzas really hit the spot!

Mallory S.

Yelp
Friendly wait staff and delicious pizza. I got the hot honey and the carmelized onion goat cheese. They were VERY cheesy. Almost too much. But i mean the hot honey has four different types of cheeses so it's to be expected.

Adi E.

Yelp
The pizza is so good!!!!! Had the Mediterranean salad too. (Also good as take out to eat next door at Cranky Sam's but atmosphere at bugs is bustling) We got a large pizza and it was plenty for two kids and 2 adults. It passed everyone's picky eating tastes. Biga listened to our specific order of light on the sauce half bacon. Highly recommend.

Cindy R.

Yelp
Great service and good food. The salad was excellent- make sure to ask for dressing! We will definitely order from them again.

P S.

Yelp
Consistency Delicious!! I love how small town, Biga Pizza feels! Gourmet Pizzas, salads and friends. A great Friday Night get together destination!

Michelle P.

Yelp
Pizza and calzones were amazing! Our service wasn't grea, sort of acted like we were bothering her, but the food made up for that.

Brandon Z.

Yelp
We were looking for a local spot with some drinks and food. We popped into the bar next door, but they had no food. We went to Biga Pizza to get some food. We shared the Sicilian with pepperoni add on. It was absolutely delicious. There was a great combination of different types of cheese. I had a solid Pinot Noir. If I was local, I would eat this pizza all the time.

Jorgiann S.

Yelp
Delicious pizza! Be sure to try their hot honey if you like it a little spicy. It can be a little bit of a wait sometimes because they're pretty popular but it's worth the wait.

Akhil K.

Yelp
Passing through Missoula on a road trip we ordered pizza for takeout here, around dinner time. They were packed even on a weekday, place was bustling with active diners. We ordered a large cheese pizza with tons of toppings. The staff on the phone was very clear about when the oven would be free to make our pizza, gave us a rather accurate sounding estimate for when our takeout would be ready. Sure enough when we got there the food was ready! The pizza was absolutely delicious. One of the best we have had in the country honestly. Well done, Biga Pizza! For those of you driving - there is street parking but looked like you should expect to drive a block of two to find parking during rush hours. They also had outdoor seating. All in all, delicious pizza and efficient operations makes this place a big hit for us - hope you all enjoy Biga

K G.

Yelp
Went to Biga pizza because we had heard they had great gluten free pizza. The pizza was good and I enjoyed the gluten free crust. However the service was stellar. Micah, our server , was so personable and next level- and that really made the entire experience. When we asked for recommendations he not only was able to help us choose amongst the many options, he even offered to go a step above and tailor the gluten free pizza to what I was hoping! He checked on us many times after our pizzas came wanting to be sure we were happy with our choice after he gave the recommendations. This could have been "just having dinner", but Micah created such an impression on us and gave us a wonderful experience! Thanks Micah and Biga pizza! We will be back next time we are in town.

Cosimo A.

Yelp
Came here twice. Once in 2019, and again in 2023. We really liked it in 2019. The dough, the crust was extremely good, and so was all the other ingredients. After that experience, when we went to other pizza places we would often ask ourselves - how does this stack up to Biga? So far no other pizza restaurant has dethroned it. After 4 years & a pandemic it has not lost it's quality. Tastes as good as it 2019. Aside from the food, the waiter was great, and food came out nice and quick. The ambience is pretty typical, though it can get busy we came earlier at 4:30.

Cindy H.

Yelp
Yummy NY style pizza and BIG salads! We got a half/half pizza... pesto veg and pepperoni/sausage. Service was great and beer was cold!

Lilly R.

Yelp
Delicious! Our server was very friendly, however, service generally was pretty slow, however the food was pretty good. We got the portobello mushroom salad and it was okay, we also got the huckleberry Italian soda which my sister thoroughly enjoyed, along with a cheese pizza (yum!) and another cheese pizza with gluten free crust. Their crust was pretty good for gluten free, I must say! I don't think this would be our first choice to come back to, but it was definitely worth stopping by.

Luke T.

Yelp
Great experience! Such a nice staff. Cool little spot. Fun vibes. Outdoor seating. We had their goat cheese pizza, which was delicious, and my daughter had a salami and olives that was top notch as well.

Robert G.

Yelp
This place literally has the worst pizza in Missoula. I'd rather eat at Pizza Hut or Domino's and I hate chains. I supported it when it was the Fire Place Pizza ? Back in 2003 - 2004. The new owner since then makes great school lunch tasting pizza if that's you're thing. But in Missoula if it's trendy and catches on , even if it tastes like shit. ... Hi

Josiah C.

Yelp
10 out of ten. Go eat here. My daughter and I come here all the time. Great people to be around great environment. And of course the best pizza and Missoula county!

Kerri M.

Yelp
Great pizza & excellent service. Ordered the Sicilian & the Hungarian Mushroom. Both had quality ingredients but we prefered The Bridge's Mushroom Pizza. We took the pizza next door to Cranky Sam's.

Cristina F.

Yelp
I simply love the wine and their spicy Italian sandwiches, pizza's not bad either. Salads are as close to Italiano as you are going to get in Missoula. love them.

Taylor C.

Yelp
Best pizza in Missoula. They have very unique pizzas made with fresh ingredients, high quality.

Patrick B.

Yelp
Great food and service. Flathead Cherry pizza is spectacular. Cozy, casual atmosphere.

Jim W.

Yelp
Great pizza. If you're in or near Missoula this is a must do. Decent selection of wines and other menu items. Good service. Worth the wait if there is one.

Roy K.

Yelp
Heard Biga Pizza was "the best" so was quite surprised by how underwhelming the two pizzas were. Minimal flavor, boring crust. Nice waiter. Will look elsewhere.

Jocelyn A.

Yelp
It's been ten years since my first review of Biga Pizza and I still believe it is one of the best pizza places on earth. I wanted to add an update to my previous review, as I recently placed a catering order with Biga and found the experience to be top-notch. I don't think most people know that Biga caterers, but they do!! Planning an event can be super stressful, but working with Bob from Biga was the easiest part of a recent event that I planned. He could not have been more accommodating! I had guests coming into town from all over the country and every single one of them raved about how good the food was at our event (even those from foodie cities like SF and Portland). I could not recommend them more highly. If you are not in the market for catering, be sure to check out the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Despite all of the changes in Missoula, it's still the best restaurant in town!

Lil Nikki D.

Yelp
this is a really cute little pizza place in Missoula. I went there way back in the day, many years ago, and just returned recently to pleasantly discover that not much has changed. my absolute favorite is the caramelized goat pizza.

Sharron A.

Yelp
Ordered take out. Had to wait longer than time told. Asked about dressing while waiting. Got home 20 minutes later. No dressing. Called asked if I could also get a side of marinara as another 20 minutes back and forth over an hour would make his pizza cold and dry. They said there would be a charge. Got to bigas they handed the order and said that's all your getting. Wow!! I travel 20 minutes each way so 80 minutes. Time and gas spend 50 for 1 cheese pizza a salad and antipasto and you only give me less than 2 oz of dressing. Pizza cold. Nope never going again. Customer service sucks you don't care that's sad. Cheap cheap

Todd S.

Yelp
We are passing through Missoula for the night and found Biga...everyone should find it when in town! We didn't get a reservation and had a short-ish wait...we got in well before we were told we would get a table. Grace W. took EXCEPTIONAL care of us - and our food was great. The vegetarian antipasto plate and pesto pizza were both amazing!

Dave D.

Yelp
We were in town for just a bit, and had a great meal at Biga Pizza. There was a short wait (about 20min), but they use a buzzer system that made it convenient. The dough was high quality, with lots of flavor and just the right texture. Toppings were high quality. Just great pizza.

Josh M.

Yelp
Over the top delicious. We had something from the specials menu, bolognese pizza. Kids had pepperoni, hard to mess that one up but still-incredible dough. Hans is the man.
